Key TakeawaysAs a marketer, you're here to borrow, remix, and be unique — not to steal.Demand gen is more than numbers and metrics. Without engaging storytelling, you're destined to fail. All CMOs should have open dialogue with their CEOs. If you're not willing/able to share your rawest ideas, you're both in trouble.Quote“As a marketer, we're always borrowing, cheating, stealing from everyone out there in the market. And I think that's good and bad. You can use the pattern from someone else, but the bad part is you're also not always coming up with your own unique ideas. And if you're a marketer, you're a pretty bad-ass creative person. In general, that's why you're here. Feb 11, 2021: Impeachment: Shocking New Video

AM Quickie

Welcome to Majority.FM's AM QUICKIE! Brought to you by justcoffee.coop TODAY'S HEADLINES: Democrats showed shocking new video of the January 6th insurrection on Day Two of Trump’s second impeachment trial. And Senators were asked to reflect on the meaning and history of the gallows that Trump’s mob erected outside the Capitol. Meanwhile, a prosecutor in Georgia is investigating Trump’s attempts to meddle with the November election results. Multiple criminal charges are possible – what fun! And lastly, as counterfeit masks proliferate, federal health officials recommend double- masking for better protection against the coronavirus. A new study backs up that advice. THESE ARE THE STORIES YOU NEED TO KNOW: The case against Donald Trump is, well, unimpeachable. The second day of Trump’s Senate trial featured more detailed arguments by the House impeachment managers. Using video and documentary evidence, Democrats offered a minute-by-minute breakdown of the events of January 6th, when Trump’s mob stormed the Capitol to prevent the certification of Electoral College votes making Joe Biden President. It wasn’t pretty. As the New York Times put it, yesterday Democrats showed disturbing, never-before-seen video footage of Trump’s supporters rampaging into the Capitol and searching for former Vice President Mike Pence and Speaker Nancy Pelosi to harm or even kill them. Footage from Capitol security cameras showed Pence, who alienated Trump’s supporters by refusing to try to overturn the election, being rushed by Secret Service officers down a staircase to escape invaders calling for his death. Pelosi’s staff members were shown barricading themselves into an office just minutes before the mob arrived and tried to break down the door. The man famously photographed sitting at her desk was shown carrying a nine hundred and fifty thousand-volt stun gun. The managers labeled Trump’s long barrage of distortions the Big Lie, borrowing an expression from the Nazi era used to describe a falsehood so enormous and widely disseminated that it became difficult to deny. According to the Washington Post, several Republican senators appeared moved by the managers’ presentation, though the senators did not indicate whether the evidence had convinced them to convict Trump. Senator Mitt Romney said he did not know how close he was to danger, after watching security video that showed him initially walking toward a pro- Trump mob. Romney bumped into Capitol Police officer Eugene Goodman, who directed him away from the mob. In the footage, Romney can be seen running away along with Goodman. Impeachment managers resume their case today. Georgia Prosecutor Targets Trump The impeachment is not a criminal proceeding. But there could be more of those in store for Donald Trump. The Washington Post reports that an Atlanta-area prosecutor has opened a criminal investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election result in Georgia in the wake of calls Trump placed to state officials, urging them to invalidate Joe Biden’s victory in the state. In a letter Wednesday to several state Republican officials, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis stated that her office is examining a raft of potential criminal charges related to attempts to influence the administration of the 2020 election in the state. In early January, per the Post, Trump pressured Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to find enough votes to reverse Biden’s victory in the state. He also called the top Georgia state elections investigator shortly before Christmas, asking the person to QUOTE find the fraud ENDQUOTE. In a third call placed in early December to Governor Brian Kemp, Trump urged him to persuade the state legislature to overturn Biden’s victory. Prosecutors are scrutinizing all three of those calls. Yesterday, as part of the ongoing Senate trial, House impeachment managers argued Trump’s calls were part of his long-running attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Willis, a Democrat, told state officials that her office will examine whether anyone illegally solicited election fraud, the Post reports. She’ll also examine whether anyone made false statements to state and local government officials, made threats, or participated in a criminal conspiracy as part of attempts to influence the election outcome. Legal experts have said Trump’s call to the secretary of state may have broken state or federal laws that bar the solicitation of election fraud, among other potential crimes. Throw the book at him! Throw the whole library! CDC Endorses Double-Masking LUCIE: We told you previously it might be a good idea. Now, it’s official. Double-masking – specifically, wearing a surgical mask underneath a cloth mask – may provide an extremely high level of protection against the viral particles that cause Covid-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported yesterday, according to NBC News. CDC researchers found that in simulated breathing experiments, a surgical mask alone blocked forty two percent of particles small enough to transmit the coronavirus. One cloth mask did not fare much better, blocking about forty-four percent of particles from an unmasked individual. Double-masking, with a surgical mask and a cloth mask, they found, upped the protection for the wearer significantly, blocking eighty three percent of small particles from an unmasked individual. Separately, the Associated Press reports that federal authorities are investigating a massive counterfeit N95 mask operation in which fake 3M masks were sold in at least five states to hospitals, medical facilities and government agencies. The foreign-made knockoffs are becoming increasingly difficult to spot and could put health care workers at grave risk for the coronavirus. Officials could not name the states or the company involved because of the active investigation. Nearly a year into the pandemic, fraud remains a major problem, the AP reports. There have been already more than twelve hundred raids by law enforcement that resulted in the seizure of ten million counterfeit 3M masks alone. The company has filed more than a dozen lawsuits over reports of fraud, counterfeiting and price gouging. There are many other reports of fraudulent masks that have reached frontline workers. Officials in Washington state examined their mask supply and discovered that three hundred thousand masks they had purchased for about $1.4 million were counterfeit. Officials are investigating. Pandemic scammers are among the lowest of the low. AND NOW FOR SOME QUICKER QUICKIES: President Joe Biden yesterday announced sanctions on the military leaders who directed the coup in Myanmar, according to CBS News. The first round of targets will be identified this week. Biden said QUOTE As protests grow, violence against those asserting their democratic rights is unacceptable and we're going to keep calling it out. The people of Burma are making their voices heard and the world is watching ENDQUOTE. Facebook said yesterday that it will begin testing ways to lessen the amount of political content its US users see, according to Politico. The company offered few if any concrete details of how these new steps would work. But political campaigns and grassroots activist say Facebook is undermining crucial tools they use to raise money and attract supporters. Anyway, don’t worry, we’ll be here with all the political news you need. The US Coast Guard rescued three Cuban nationals who were stranded for more than a month on a desert island in the Bahamas on Tuesday, CBS reports. The two men and a woman survived by eating conchs (CONKS) and rats. A Coast Guard surveillance plane spotted the castaways during a routine patrol Monday. They are now in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in case you worried this story might have an unambiguously happy ending. The current unemployment rate, as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, is six point three percent. But the real unemployment rate in the US is closer to ten percent, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said yesterday, according to NBC News. He said reaching maximum employment will QUOTE require a society-wide commitment ENDQUOTE. Somebody should tell those CEOs who visited the White House this week. After a billions-of-dollars revolution a decade of research, Jake compiled enough peer-reviewed academic data to back his hypothesis that we’ve been looking at myopia all wrong, that the 100-billion-dollar-per-year retail optometry industry is little more than a cash cow, that our eyes are not broken, and that myopia is reversible. He’s here to share his journey from a -5 diopter prescription to perfect 20/20 vision, as well as simple tips to help you naturally regain your perfect vision. Right And back then like the goggles with the built-in correction weren't really popular at all also played water polo and that got killed because the ball just slowly kept turning into this yellow. 20:00 - It's absolutely known that the wearing of glasses causes increasingly diminished eyesight. But if you go to an optometrist and you say, hey, what's causing my site to be bad? None of them will tell you this. 30:00 - I can't stand when I see people at a family dinner and then you see the kids bring it with them to the dinner table. Then they get yelled at, well what do you expect? You trained them to depend on the iPad or that technology. 40:00 - If there was a little bit more awareness because my only goal is to say, if you go to the optometrist, you realize you're making a choice. Like you're going to McDonald's, you're making a choice. 56:20 - Final Words   Our Final Words of the Show:Without realizing it at the time or without even being aware of it until somewhat recently, this pursuit of improving my eyesight is changing my life subtly, but kind of dramatically in the long term. Last month we spent time kite surfing in Vietnam. That's something I would have never thought that I'd be doing. Because over the years with glasses, I started believing that I'm clumsy and that I'm not really that athletic. This was a fear I developed, a kind of a fear of things and excuses. I lived in Nepal for a while paragliding too. Now I'm really into kite surfing and I'm enjoying aspects of like a physical connection to life, that for so many years I didn't have. It is all because I was in this long term pursuit of challenging my sight. It sounds silly because it was a nerdy thing. I wasn't trying to have a more interesting life. I was just like, I need to do things that challenge my sight, which led me to do these crazy things that now as I'm looking at it are really a defining part of my life. I'm doing awesome stuff because I'm enjoying my sight.   Action Steps:Support our 501c-3 non-profit and visit http://fuelfoundations.org (http://fuelfoundations.org) Help us reach more people with 5 Star Reviews, visit iTunes and Submit a Review (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/livethefuel/id1150969758?mt=2) Join our private Facebook community The FUEL UP Mindset (https://www.facebook.com/groups/fuelupmindset/)

Shep Hyken interviews Steve Farber. They discuss how to implement love into every aspect of your business to drive customer success. The Interview with Steve Farber:Even if you love what you do, there will still be days that feel like work. You must do the necessary things you dislike in order to be able to do the things you love in your business. Doing only what you love is called retirement—but you don’t necessarily need to be retired to feel this way.Societally, we are unaccustomed to using the words “love” and “business” in the same sentence. Using the word “love” in relation to business raises the standards and expectations in a way that promotes positive growth. However, you shouldn’t use this verbiage if you don’t intend to follow through with it; if you talk the talk, you must also walk the walk.We want customers to love our products and services. If they don’t, we will have no competitive advantage. Achieving this starts on the inside with the company’s culture. You must first create an environment people love working in; do it right, and this love will be felt on the outside by the customer.A cultural focus can begin on any level of an organization and needs to happen on every level. However, you can’t create this as a leader if you don’t love it yourself first. You must love the environment you create so your employees will also love it—and then customers will feel that love too.To kickstart your cultural change, ask yourself the important questions, like what love looks like in business, why you love what you do, and how you can show it. Then ask those around you what you can do to demonstrate customer love and implement those new ideas. Many good ideas already exist within your organization. Ask the right questions so you can have the right internal conversations.Business, like love, is incredibly personal. This is the most important but also the most overlooked aspect of business.Quote: “As businesspeople, we want our customers to love what we do for them. If they don’t love the product or service, then we have no advantage at all.”  - Steve Farber About: Steve Farber is the president of Extreme Leadership Inc., a speaker and consultant, and the author of several books including Love is Just Damn Good Business and The Radical Leap. Ted is a tour guide in his day job and has walked the Camino a few times now. QUOTE: As you start to love the road, you hate the thought of getting there! Whenever Ted has a chance he plays a 20-minute video to his passengers so that they know what the Camino is. How did you hear about the Camino? In 2014, he watched the film The Way, with Martin Sheen. He then became obsessed with Google searches about the Camino. Did you plan your Camino is detail? Nope! His wife booked his flight and he literally finished work one day and was flying out to Madrid the next. He had no idea where he was going! Ted walked the Frances route in October 2016 and then went back to walk the Portugal Route from Lisbon in November 2017. Is there a difference between these routes? yes, HUGE! On the Portugal route, Ted did not see one single pilgrim on the trail for the first week - not one! His first night on the Portugal route was in a fire station! And it was free - they wouldn’t even take a donation. His 2nd night was spent with people from the church in a house. He tells the emotional story of how strangers gave him hot food. You can hear the passion in Ted’s voice when her talks about being on his own on the Portugal route, and how amazing it was to spend time in nature and with himself. Was it not lonely on the Portugal route? At first yes, but after a few days, he did not feel lonely at all. After Porto it got busy. The French Way is more like a party every night! Was the Camino everything you thought it would be? You will have to listen to the answer on that one! Food - we have a long discussion on food, along with photos. Ted was surprised at the price of wine (and the volume of wine!). He can still remember the flavour of the goat's cheese in his mouth! €10 for a Pilgrim menu was just brilliant. Ted ate that much on the Camino that he certainly did not lose any weight! Are you a spiritual person? No, not really. Ted is not religious or spiritual, he just enjoys an adventure. Did you finish into Santiago with friends or on your own? Did you feel the same sense of achievement the 2nd time in Santiago? Yes, he was very emotional both times. A dream come true? Did you do the Pilgrim mass? Yes, even though I am not religious, I enjoyed the experience. Did you see the big swingy thing? How many times have you seen the film The Way? Just the once! What was your most memorable story - you need to listen to this story, it is amazing!!! He learned a valuable lesson about sharing on that night. What would you say to someone who is thinking of walking The Way? Go for it! It is much easier than you think.

I’m Theo Mayer - the Chief Technologist for the Commission and your host. Welcome to the show. [MUSIC] Preface The African American saga in World War 1 is both inspiring and terrible … Less than a generation after the civil war, this is a time where black american men and women are considered second class citizens at best. Chad Williams is the chair of the African & Afro-American Studies Department at Brandeis University and author of “Torchbearers of Democracy: African-American Soldiers in the World War I Era,”. quote: "In many ways, World War I marked the beginning of the modern civil rights movement for African-Americans. Their service in the military had dramatic implications for African-Americans. Black soldiers faced systemic racial discrimination in the army and endured virulent hostility on returning to their homes at the end of the war. At the same time, service in the army empowered soldiers to demand their individual rights as American citizens and laid the groundwork for the future movement for racial justice."   So…  let's jump into our wayback machine and learn more about the African American experience in the war that changed the world!   World War One THEN 100 Year Ago This Week [MUSIC TRANSITION] It's the first week of December 1917 - Just a note to our audience - that the language of the times, which we have kept in our reports, refers to African Americans as negroes and colored.   [SOUND EFFECT] Dateline: December 4, 197 A headline in the New York times reads ARMY IS FAIR TO NEGROES - Policy of War Department is to discourage race discrimination.   The article reads - Secretary of War Baker today announced that he had ordered an investigation of the allegation that there had been discrimination against negro Draftees. Quote: "As you know, it has been my policy to discourage discrimination against any persons by reason of their race. This policy has been adopted not merely as an act of justice to safeguard the institution which we are now enagaged in defending -  and which any racial disorder must endanger.   The charges stem from accusations that the military is not allowing negro units into combat roles, but relegating them to Service Battalions for labor jobs. And there is a lot of truth to it. Racism is as endemic in the armed forces as it is in the rest of America at this time. Southern Democrats try to block negroes from inclusion in the draft, few colored men served in the Navy and none in the Marine Corps, and the Army’s four segregated units—the 24th and 25th Infantry and the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments are assigned guard duty on the Mexican border and never go abroad. African Americans comprised 13 percent of active-duty military manpower, but make up only seven-tenths of 1 percent of the officers. Around 200,000 African Americans are deployed to Europe and serve with distinction in the AEF - the American Expeditionary Forces - as well as with the French Army. While, as per the complaints, the vast majority of these troops are relegated to Services of Supplies (SOS) units and labor battalions, some 40,000 soldiers see combat in two new black units, the Ninety-second and Ninety-third Divisions. Fighting alongside the French, the Ninety-third serves heroically throughout the war and experiences greater acceptance and more equal treatment than that found in the U.S. Army. The division's 369th Infantry Regiment, "the Harlem Hellfighters," spend more than six months on the front lines — longer than any other American unit — in part because General Pershing, contrary to his policy of having American soldiers under American Command, gives the 369th to French commanders who take them to the front immediately -  bypassing much of the training the other combat soldiers undergo... Regardless.. the 369th distinguishes itself as an awesome fighting force that never surrenders an inch of Allied territory nor loses a single soldier through capture. From this regiment alone, 171 officers and men receive either Croix de Guerre or Legions of Merit from the French government. The sacrifice of African American soldiers such as these certainly did not end racism at home or abroad, but it showed the world that their patriotism and heroism unquestioningly matches that of their white counterparts in the war that changed the world! Well that is what makes this such an interesting event. On April 6, 2017 we declared war on Germany… but not the other axis powers. Though we declared Austria Hungary an ENEMY through the “Trading with the enemy act of 1917” which we told you about in episode 42… we did not formally declare war on them until 100 years ago this week. First the French… Dateline December 3, 1917 Headline: France gives high praise to our engineers at cambrai The story reads: “There is not a single person who saw them at work who does not render warm praise to the coolness, discipline, and courage of these improvised combatants”   From the seemingly - slightly jealous Pershing troops still waiting and ready to fight…. [SOUND EFFECT] Headline: Pershing’s troops envy the Engineers And the story includes: An infantry Sergeant remarked: ‘We stay in these muddy trenches for a spell and let Fritz shoot his artillery at us and have never really had a chance to use our rifles except to snipe and pot at Fritz out in No Man’s Land on dark nights. Meanwhile - These railroaders managed to run their trains right into a good, thick scrap, and if this isn’t luck, I don’t know what it is.’”   And from the somewhat still astounded engineers [SOUND EFFECT] Headline: Engineers jest over first battle In the story they describe the chaos of sudden, unexpected action, “‘I hadn’t a steel hat handy” ‘so i picked up a petrol tin and put that on my head, and thought it might be better than nothing.”   The  journalist writes, “They are a splendid body of men,” “Hard, keen and good humored, who made a joke of their thrilling adventure and of their present danger.”   And from another soldier, “‘It was the doggonedest experience I ever had, and a mighty close call!’   And that’s how it was this week, one hundred years ago in the war that changed the world! So as 1917 comes to a close, the British determine that they want to - even need to - win the city from the Ottoman Turks - and they wanted to do it before Christmas! They felt that the  psychological impact was desperately needed in these otherwise dark days.   Here to tell us about the campaign is Mike Shuster, former NPR correspondent and curator of the Great War Project blog. Life at ground level generally toxic and lethal. So, soldiers spent much of their time living in the ground. Besides the word Trenches, other related words also came into common use - several of which are still with us today. Fox hole, Dug Out and Cubby Hole are three of them! The history of Fox Hole and Dug Out are pretty obvious and the term Cubby was probably derived from the old english word cub - for shed, coop or hutch Today we still have dugouts in baseball and cubbyholes in the office - terms that got popular 100 years ago when the motto was “get down, dig in and stash yourself in a hole”. This week we will highly a few of them for you. Brooke Kroeger interview First from ww1cc.org/news-- A remarkable new book has appeared on the World War I scene, one that traces the origins of the Women's Suffrage movement in America to the war effort 100 years ago. It explores why, a group of prominent and influential men in New York City, and beyond, came together to help women gain the right to vote. Brooke Kroeger is the author. She is a journalist, author of five books, a professor of journalism at the NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and director of the Global and Joint Program Studies, which she founded in 2007. When the U.S. entered World War One in 1917, it is estimated that roughly 500,000 people who joined the United States armed services were immigrants. According to the National Park Service, this amounted to 18 percent of U.S. troops. One of these was a Mexican-born, illegal immigrant named Marcelino Serna, who volunteered to join the US Army and was the first Mexican American to collect a Distinguished Service Cross. Iron Harvest This week, we shared an article from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission on the Iron Harvest. It is estimated that more than a billion shells were fired during the First World War, and that as many as 30 percent of those failed to explode. Specialty bomb-disposal units in France and Belgium collect and defuse the unexploded ordinances, which are often found by farmers as they do their work. These local farmers are the ones who coined the name Iron Harvest, as they come across literal tonnes of shells every year. It’s estimated that it will take another 500 years of the Iron Harvest before the area is fully safe again. Read more about this constant reminder of the war, and watch a video of the disposal units in action, by following the link in the podcast notes. link:https://www.cwgc.org/learn/news-and-events/news/2017/11/28/16/47/the-iron-harvest-a-warning-from-history   Women Photographers Finally this week, a story close to my heart. Hyperallergic put out a piece this week which we shared on facebook featuring and reviewing a new exhibition at Impressions Gallery in Bradford, England. The show is titled No Man’s Land: Women’s Photography and the First World War and features the work of some very talented and brave women photographers who served during the conflict. Some of the artists included served as official photographers, while others photographed while serving as nurses or in other auxiliary roles. One photographer was a motorcycle and ambulance driver who volunteered at 18 and whose photos range from graphic and distressing to coy and humorous. Three contemporary artists’ work is shown as well, complimenting the work done by the women a century ago. Follow the link in the podcast notes to see some of the images and to read the stories of the photographers. Jon Moore reporting! This week we begin with a post from the blog: GarryRogers Nature Conservation entitled: Can “Regenerative Farming” Save Us From Global Catastrophe? Garry is not completely sure but he provides the article for our consideration. To give you some idea: Quote: “A growing corps of organic, climate, environmental, social justice and peace activists are promoting a new world-changing paradigm that can potentially save us from global catastrophe. The name of this new paradigm and movement is regenerative agriculture, or more precisely regenerative food, farming and land use. End Quote This is a subtle shift in thinking but it is critical. Thinking of food, farming and land use as separate and interconnected rather than just “agriculture” forces us to consider how each component can be regenerative. Regenerating the sector and those which support it. Regenerative land use is supported by composted food wastes from urban settings which in turn supports the farmer and then the food consumer, or as I like to think of them, people. The article though has a different spin on this interconnectedness of the parts and I quote: Quote: “The basic menu for a regeneration revolution is to unite the world’s 3 billion rural farmers, ranchers and herders with several billion health, environmental and justice-minded consumers to overturn “business as usual” and embark on a global campaign of cooperation, solidarity and regeneration. End Quote Clearly I too was discussing the end of “business as usual” and have been since the first of February 2016, but I think the quote pretty much nails both the problem and the solution in one go. Not a lot of room there for Roundup, monocultures and seed monopolies. A vision worth pursuing, I would suggest. And while I could, no where, find it stated, my understanding of regenerative agriculture is that it must be, by its very nature: Organic. As I say this we can segway nicely into our next post from the Blog Organic Farms with their post: Advantages Of Organic Farming. This is a lovely piece of confirmation bias. The piece offer five areas of advantage: 1 Tastier and healthier food 2 Lower use of pesticides 3 Soil management 4 Cost-effectiveness And of course, 5 Environmental friendliness. I will just add that is post was not written by someone who has English as their first language but it is worth a read. As ever, all posts and references have links in the show notes. I will focus my attention on benefit number 4. Cost effectiveness. This is something I’ve wondered about for a long time. Especially on a mixed farm where manures are available as part of the processes of farming, the costs of organic farming should, nay must, be lower than that of chemical based farming. Clearly the organic system will not compete against CAFOs, that is confined animal feeding operations or feedlots as they are also know. But I’m not sure that is either a fair comparison or that CAFOs represent anything akin to farming in any way. They are modelled on the ideas of Henry Ford’s factories not on regenerative, life affirming interconnectedness of existence. I’m pretty sure I’ve ranted elsewhere on these systems and will let it go through to the keeper on this occasion. The post though does provide some thoughts on the cost effectiveness of organic farms: Quote: As compared to conventional farming, biological production stays more cost-effective. The main reason behind this fact is that organic production does not use artificial fertilizers that affect the overall production cost. Additionally, when fertilizers are used, the crop will require an excess amount of water that also increase its cost. End Quote. Extra water as a consequence of chemical fertiliser use was not something that I’d read nor considered before. If any listener has thoughts on this I’d love to hear them. email me at podcast@worldorganicnews.com. I’d love to hear from you on this or anything else on your mind. And on the same theme, from the blog Crop Connect Chronicles we have the post: 5 reasons why Sustainable Agriculture is good for the environment and you! As you would expect there’s some overlap with the previous piece but sufficient variation to give this piece a deeper look: Their five reasons are: 1 Environmental Conservation 2 Reduction in Pollution 3 Healthy food for you 4 Social and environmental impact and 5 Biodiversity and healthy ecosystems. Click through the link, you’ll find the full article interesting. And now to our final piece for the week from Economics Outside the Cube: Clean energy too big to be shut down by Trump – San Francisco Chronicle. Again this is a piece in support of my argument last week. Both that we need to end the use of fossil fuels and that the renewable sector is now too large to be stopped by centralised paid for governments. Certainly a punitive tax could placed on all solar panels and wind turbines to subsidise, I don’t know, say coal mining, but I suspect the political backlash would be unbearable for any incumbent government. A shortish quote form the piece: Quote: Trump’s move on Thursday sent a “shock wave” through the renewable energy sector, Mark Bauhaus, a partner at Just Business, a San Francisco tech incubator. But the business opportunity in the so-called decarbonization of the economy is “bigger than the Internet,” he said. “We have to remake the economy for low-carbon, clean energy, efficient everything: transportation, agriculture, appliances, houses, generation, all the grids,” Bauhous said. “The fact that the federal government is going backwards doesn’t change that inexorable momentum.” End Quote. And on that happy note we will end this week’s episode. If you’ve liked what you heard, please tell everyone you know any way you can! I’d also really appreciate a review on iTunes. This may or may not help others to find us but it gives this podcaster an enormous thrill! Thanks in advance!
