We're embracing our inner evil and assembling our ultimate Disney Villain Dream Teams! It's a snake-style draft where strategy, sass, and sinister laughs collide as we each pick five iconic foes from across the Disney universe. Here's how it works: we each draft two animated villains, one Pixar villain, one live-action villain, and one bonus wildcard who can come from any corner of the leftover baddies. Once a villain's been chosen, they're gone for good — no repeats allowed!Expect passionate defenses, dramatic alliances, and plenty of over-the-top reasoning as we crown our team leaders and debate who's most likely to stab someone in the back (literally or metaphorically). From Maleficent's poise to Hades' one-liners and Thanos' snap-happy attitude, every choice reveals who we think reigns supreme in the world of Disney darkness. So grab your poison apple, cue up your evil laugh, and join us for a fiendishly fun episode that proves villains really do have more fun. It's Halloween on Main Street Magic — and today, evil's never looked so good.

We're diving into the incredible lineup of recreation and activities offered across Disney resorts — many of them free! From campfire sing-alongs and “Movies Under the Stars” to painting classes and fireworks cruises, the resorts are bursting with entertainment that keeps the magic alive long after we've left the parks. We'll share cozy ways to wind down, like roasting marshmallows at Fort Wilderness or catching a movie poolside, and fun experiences that get the whole family moving — think poolside trivia, live music, and surrey bike rides along the Sassagoula River. We'll also talk about some of Disney's most memorable paid experiences, including horse-drawn carriage rides through the pines, pontoon boat rentals on Bay Lake, fishing excursions, and creative workshops at resorts like the Riviera and Coronado Springs. Whether we're traveling as a couple, a family, or with friends, there's something magical waiting beyond the parks — from Yeeha Bob's legendary show at Port Orleans Riverside to peaceful jogging trails around Crescent Lake.So grab your refillable mug, pull up a hammock, and join us as we explore all the fun that doesn't require a park ticket — because sometimes, the best Disney memories happen right at your resort.

I get stopped in my car, I go full geek on Roller Coasters and Theme Parks, and there are cows, lots of cows
This theme park is part of the impressive Resorts World Sentosa leisure destination since 2011. The Singaporean location finds itself amidst an impressive offering of attractions in a wealthy region. Still it is rarely cited to be at the top of the lists regarding theme parks. Why is that exactly? The cinematic worlds of Universal Studios are often brought to life through themed lands around a lake. Also Singapore follows this blueprint, but this time with much less space to work with. Has Universal's storytelling magic and quality managed to adapt to the Southeast Asian context? Do its familiar experiences raise the bar or is it much of the same in a different location? There are many reasons why this park feels different on the palet of Universal parks and it is not only the size that plays a key role in that. In this episode, introduced in collaboration with the dutch Upper Lot Podcast by Nicky and Dennis, we dive into the park's origins and development, explore its unique atmosphere and analyse what's on offer today. We are critical, but aim to give a balanced image to decide if it's worth the trip. ▻ Check www.triponpodcast.com ▻ Follow us on Instagram ▻ Listen to us on Apple Podcasts ▻ Listen to us on Spotify ▻ Listen to us on Audible
We're taking our taste buds on a weekend adventure around Walt Disney World — from resort bites and zero-proof sips to full-on feasts and sweet endings. We kicked things off Thursday at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, grabbing a bite before heading to Disney Springs for an evening of food and fun. Summer House on the Lake's zero-proof cocktails, like the Pineapple Kick and Sparkling Rosé Lemonade, are perfect examples of how non-alcoholic doesn't have to mean boring, although this trip the pizza did not quite hit the mark. From there, we couldn't resist a stop at Gideon's Bakehouse, where we tried seasonal sweets like the Bride of Frankenstein Cookie, the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie, and the PB & Jelly Cake.Friday's lineup was a true flavor rollercoaster. Between lemon pepper chicken tenders at Magic Kingdom and a trip off-property for Benihana's, our taste buds covered just about every texture and temperature possible. Saturday brought one of our favorite types of Disney days — eat, explore, repeat. From Karamel Küche's Caramel Gingerbread Cookie Sandwich to the hearty rolls at Ale & Compass, smoky brisket from The Polite Pig, and Indian-inspired flavors at EET by Maneet Chauhan, the variety was endless. Sunday wrapped things up on the sweetest note possible — cookies from Summer House, a relaxed meal at The Boathouse, and a festive finale at Scat Cat's Café with Ghoulish Beignets and an Agave Garden mocktail that proved Disney's zero-proof game is getting strong. From sugar highs to savory standouts, this weekend reminded us why Disney dining never gets old — there's always something new to taste, try, and talk about on Main Street Magic.

We're talking about something maybe every Disney fan should try at least once — visiting Walt Disney World solo. Whether you're a frequent park hopper, a first-timer craving some quiet time, or someone just curious about going it alone, we're diving into the perks and pitfalls of taking on Disney as a one-person party. We break down what makes a solo trip surprisingly magical — and occasionally a little awkward. There's the undeniable freedom to do what you want, from rope-dropping your favorite ride to napping mid-afternoon without guilt. You can go when you want, skip the group chats and calendar juggling, and let spontaneity be your guide. Want to hit every EPCOT festival booth? Go for it. Want to spend two hours just people-watching on Main Street with a Mickey pretzel? Absolutely your call. We'll also explore practical perks like saving money — fewer tickets, fewer meals, fewer souvenir “Can you get me this?” requests — and the all-powerful Single Rider superpower. From Expedition Everest to Test Track to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, being a party of one can mean cutting wait times in half. Even dining can become a breeze when you're the dream guest for last-minute lounge seating or bar-top bites.Of course, it's not all Dole Whips and fireworks. We'll be honest about the lonely moments — the times you wish you had someone beside you to laugh with, share a dessert, or snap that perfect castle photo. Still, for many, the solo Disney trip becomes a form of self-care, reflection, and rediscovery. So grab your MagicBand, pack your confidence, and join us as we explore what it really means to do Disney alone.

How to Do a Full Day at Magic Kingdom in OrlandoFor many travelers, Magic Kingdom is the heart of Walt Disney World — the park that captures the essence of Disney storytelling and wonder. With iconic attractions, timeless parades, and dazzling nighttime fireworks, it's where fairytales truly come to life.Trying to see and do everything in one day can feel overwhelming, but with a solid plan and a few insider tips, you can experience nearly all of the park's highlights without feeling rushed. Here's our complete guide to doing a full day at Magic Kingdom in OrlandoArrive Early and Plan AheadTo make the most of your visit, arrive before park opening. Give yourself time for parking, security, and transportation to the park entrance via ferry or monorail. If you're staying at a Disney Resort, you'll have access to Early Entry, which allows you to enter select areas 30 minutes before the general public — an excellent advantage for tackling the most popular rides first. Before arriving, download the My Disney Experience app. You'll use it for everything from checking wait times to ordering food, making Genie+ selections, and finding character meet-and-greet schedules.Morning: Tackle the Big AttractionsThe first few hours after opening are the best time to check off the most in-demand attractions, especially before the midday crowds arrive. Begin in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland with:Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – The most popular ride in Magic Kingdom; do this first or reserve a Lightning Lane.Peter Pan's Flight – A whimsical classic that fills up quickly.Space Mountain – A must for thrill-seekers, this indoor coaster is best early in the day.Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin – A fun, interactive game that families love.If you're using Genie+, schedule your first Lightning Lane for Jungle Cruise or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad later in the morning.Late Morning: Adventureland and FrontierlandOnce the early rush fades, head to Adventureland and Frontierland for a mix of action, humor, and nostalgia.Top attractions include:Pirates of the Caribbean – A fan favorite with an immersive atmosphere and cool indoor queue.Jungle Cruise – Famous for its witty skippers and lighthearted storytelling.Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – A high-energy ride through the Old West.Tiana's Bayou Adventure – The newly reimagined log flume experience based on The Princess and the Frog. After these, you'll be ready for a well-deserved lunch break.Lunch and Midday RestFor lunch, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café in Frontierland offers quick, customizable Tex-Mex dishes. If you prefer a sit-down meal, The Crystal Palace on Main Street serves a buffet with Winnie the Pooh and friends — great for families and air-conditioned comfort.Use the early afternoon to slow down. Orlando's heat and crowds peak between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., so plan indoor attractions or shows:Haunted Mansion – A spooky but family-friendly favorite. It's a Small World – Classic Disney charm and a great place to rest.Mickey's PhilharMagic – A 3D show that offers both entertainment and a cooldown.Afternoon: Explore and EnjoyBy mid-afternoon, take time to explore smaller attractions or revisit a favorite ride. Grab a refreshing Dole Whip from Aloha Isle or a Mickey pretzel from The Lunching Pad.Keep an eye on the Festival of Fantasy Parade schedule — it's worth seeing at least once, especially for first-time visitors. The best viewing areas are near Liberty Square or Frontierland, where crowds are lighter.Evening: Dinner and FireworksPlan your dinner around 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. so you can enjoy the nighttime entertainment afterward. For quick service, Casey's Corner offers classic hot dogs and a great view of the castle. For a quieter sit-down meal, The Plaza Restaurant provides a relaxed atmosphere and comfort food favorites. After dinner, claim your spot for “Happily Ever After,” the park's signature fireworks and projection show. For the best view, stand in the hub area in front of Cinderella Castle or along Main Street, U.S.A. Arrive at least 30–45 minutes early for the best experience.End of the Day: Last Rides and FarewellWhen the fireworks end, linger a bit. Crowds will surge toward the exit immediately, so this is a perfect time to enjoy one or two final attractions. Rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain often have much shorter waits late at night. Before leaving, take a slow walk down Main Street, U.S.A.. The lights, music, and view of the castle make for a peaceful and memorable ending to your day.Essential Tips for a Perfect Magic Kingdom DayWear comfortable shoes – Expect to walk several miles.Stay hydrated – Bring a refillable bottle; there are plenty of water stations.Use Genie+ wisely – Prioritize high-demand attractions for maximum value.Take breaks – Duck into shows or shops to recharge.Enjoy the atmosphere – The best moments aren't always on rides.A single day at Magic Kingdom can be as magical as an entire vacation if you plan it right. With an early start, a flexible itinerary, and a few well-timed breaks, you can experience the best rides, shows, and dining without feeling rushed.Magic Kingdom remains the most iconic of all Disney parks — and even one full day here is enough to remind us why it's called The Most Magical Place on Earth.

We're heading down to the bayou for a live, on-site dining review of Riverside Mill Food Court at Disney's Port Orleans – Riverside Resort. This charming quick-service spot is one of our favorite places to slow down, grab a hearty meal, and soak in that peaceful Southern charm — and this time, we brought Stitch along for the adventure! We recorded right from the resort while waiting for our room to be ready, surrounded by the sounds of the Sassagoula River and the steady buzz of resort life. It was the perfect setting for an impromptu food review. We started with the Shrimp and Grits, a classic that hits all the right notes. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the ham added a smoky punch, and the chardonnay gravy sauce tied everything together beautifully.Next up were the Jerk Barbecue Chicken Strips with Pineapple Salsa, one of several new specialty chicken strip flavors now showing up across Disney property. They were tossed fresh in sauce, topped with pineapple, and served over fries — crispy, tangy, and a little spicy. And of course, we couldn't wrap things up without dessert. The new Hand-Dipped Mickey Premium Bar, coated in white chocolate and topped with salted caramel pearls. If you're staying at Port Orleans Riverside or just stopping by for a bite, Riverside Mill Food Court delivers comfort, flavor, and that unmistakable Disney charm. Join us as we share our favorite bites by the bayou — one delicious dish at a time.

Disney has hiked prices again—day tickets, annual passes, parking, and even Lightning Lane. At Disneyland, parking now costs $40 a day and the top-tier Inspire Key annual pass jumps to $1,899, still with blockout dates and reservation limits. In Florida, annual passes are up as well, though one-day tickets remain steadier. Philip and Scott debate whether these moves are a strategy to manage crowd levels or a sign of the parks leaning further into exclusivity—especially as Disney faces stock pressure and boycotts. Are higher prices a reset for quality and capacity, or the next step in making Disney a luxury brand? Listen to weekly BONUS episodes on our Patreon.

Which OG will take the top spot? Tune in to find out!

Have an idea or tip? Send us a text! What if the best photo you take is just the start? The Dead Pixels Society sits down with Heath Lassiter, founder of Niche AI, to explore how volume imaging is transforming from prints and proofs into living, brand‑ready media—think fusion assets mapped to body parts, refined face replacement, and motion‑from‑stills that parents and guests can't wait to share. Lassiter's roots at Express Digital and deep work across schools, theme parks, events, and cruises give him a rare, pragmatic lens on what actually scales: fast inference, lower COGS, consistent brand aesthetics, and real privacy compliance.Lassiter unpacks Niche AI's core offerings—precision cutouts, fusion scenes, and immersive face swaps—built to operate at enterprise speed and quality. The conversation gets tactical on GPU throughput, cost curves, and why off‑the‑shelf AI often produces generic looks or drifts from target demographics. Heath explains how his team blends proprietary models with in‑house design to nail placement, mood, and age‑appropriate results, and how that approach translates into higher conversions and repeat purchases across e‑commerce.Schools get a spotlight: extend fall capture slightly and replace the operationally heavy spring shoot with AI-driven products—seasonal themes, cap‑and‑gown automation (colors, tassels, even hands and diplomas when needed), and short motion clips for social. We cover data handling, GDPR, API vs on‑prem, and why once‑reluctant enterprises are now opening the door to responsible generative and non‑generative workflows. For parks and events, the image becomes both souvenir and marketing engine, turning guest photos into shareable media that drives reach and revenue.MediaclipMediaclip strives to continuously enhance the user experience while dramatically increasing revenue.Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEVisual 1stVisual 1st is the premier global conference focused on the photo and video ecosystem. Rick does a hotel review for the place where he stayed on his recent visit to Walt Disney World. After that, Rick talks about how former-Disney chairman and CEO Michael Eisner had the chance to pander to the wrong type of people, but instead stood on principle and morals.
We head to Magic Kingdom for a night of spooky fun at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025! This is one of our favorite events of the year, and this season felt bigger, brighter, and somehow even more magical than before. From the moment we stepped through the fog and heard that “Boo to You” parade music drifting down Main Street, we knew we were in for a night packed with tricks, treats, and a whole lot of fun.But first, we tried the return of Salt & Straw's Tacolate (yes, a chocolate taco filled with cinnamon-ancho ice cream!) and every spooky limited time treat from Everglazed, including the Nutella Boston Scream, Haunted Hour, and Spooky Tombstone, and we even grabbed the limited-edition Chai Sugar Showgirl Cupcake from Sprinkles — a Taylor-inspired treat that might just steal the show. Then on to MNSSHP, where we break down everything you need to know before heading to the party yourself — from ticket details and arrival times to the best tips to help you make the most of your evening. We share when to grab your wristbands, how to beat the candy lines, and which characters you'll want to prioritize early before their queues fill up. And of course, we talk all about the incredible entertainment lineup — from the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks hosted by Jack Skellington, to the Boo-To-You Parade (complete with the Headless Horseman), and the always entertaining Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular with the Sanderson Sisters. We also talk costume comfort tips (Florida heat, anyone?), and give our best advice for making the most of those precious five hours of Halloween magic. Grab your candy bag and your Mickey ears — it's time to Boo-to-You right along with us!

Universal has reopened Stardust Racers at Epic Universe, following a fatal incident earlier this year, and introduced new signage and stricter accessibility requirements. The latest safety guide now warns guests with weakened bones, limited mobility, or difficulty maintaining an upright position not to ride—and the “must walk independently” clause now extends across multiple attractions. Philip and Scott unpack what this means for operators who must balance guest safety, accessibility, and legal liability. Should Universal have waited longer to reopen, or do the updated rules demonstrate responsible transparency? Plus, Universal's Vegas venue gets festive with Krampus and Kin, a dark-holiday overlay for Horror Unleashed. Listen to weekly BONUS episodes on our Patreon.

Sarah found out a fun fact about the David statue, but she is convinced it's a Mandela Effect situation. We learn why Disney theme parks are no longer trying to be affordable in any way, and they are fully embracing income inequality. Plus, Sarah teaches us roller coaster lingo. We're heading down the bayou for a sibling showdown as Port Orleans Riverside takes on Port Orleans French Quarter in the latest round of Resort Wars. These two charming Moderates may share a name and a boat to Disney Springs, but when it comes to theming, food, amenities, and overall vibe—they couldn't be more different. We walk through seven battle rounds, comparing everything from room layouts and transportation to pool fun, recreation options, and value for your hard-earned vacation dollar. French Quarter brings that cozy, jazz-filled energy with colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and of course—those famous Mickey-shaped beignets. Riverside answers back with lush walking paths, Royal Guest Rooms, and the fan-favorite Yeeha Bob at River Roost Lounge. Along the way, we'll share our own experiences at both resorts, a few personal preferences, and what we think makes each one special. We also reveal the results from your votes in our Facebook poll—because this battle isn't just about us…it's about the whole Main Street Magic community. So grab your floatworks beignet or your fishing rod from Ol' Man Island, and let's settle this once and for all.
