Named after my favorite Kevin Smith film. I guess that makes Eleven- Silent Bob and Max-Jay?Just like Mallrats, we don't start at the mall, we start at the rat farm where Billy is running away seemingly unharmed, because of racist white male privilege probably. Mike lies to Eleven because as we find out, just because "friends don't lie" it doesn't mean boyfriends don't, boyfriends lie- ALL.THE.TIME. Hopper is a little too happy about El's sadness but that's okay because he will have a date with Karma later at Enzo's. He celebrates with Joyce and almost slips on a MAGNETand Joyce fixates on those for this entire season starting now Billy smashes Karen's head in but not really, and then a lifeguard named Heather says "take me to him" but also not really... and this man can not stand the heat of facing the reality of women around him and like most men deals with that logically by kidnapping heather, I wonder if this is even the first time he's done this. We find out that he has been recruited into being the foot soldier of a genocidal maniac but to be honest if he'd have lived in 1940 or today the same thing would have happened to him anyway. Max takes El to the mall where she shops and explodes orange julius all over that bitch Stacey (Karma at the mall for rejecting Dustin) Max is teaching El to be herself and to be a strong independent woman and it is literally the best day of El's life even after she dumps Mike's lying assMike I know it's the 80's but shopping at the mall with just $3.50 is completely ridiculous Hopper has to stop people protesting Don- I mean the mayor because of the mall and Hopper begrudgingly arrests them and sends them off with Calvin because he's gotta get ready for dinner (it's not a date) riiight, that's why you had flo go get you a brand new magnum PI shirt. But Joyce has to leave work to go to the middle school science teacher's house because MAGNETS And Hopper is left at Enzo's all alone because Joyce stood him up because MAGNETS Dustin and the rest of the scoops troop are busy all episode decoding a russian message and Steve figures out the call is coming from inside the mall because of a song from a horse... Stranger things indeed, yall get your clues about as strangely as Spencer Hastings when she got a phone number from a bird... Nancy and Jonathon are being the journalist photographer duo and honestly, why would their lives or careers ever drive them apart, they literally have coinciding jobs, their dream life is literally the same one, another rat pops and it's disgusting and all the other rats slime shows up at the end to save heather from Billy I presume because what the freak man? Is this a hobby? Where did you learn to tie up girls and take them to abandoned buildings because this does NOT look like your first rodeo, let's hope the rat blob saves her in time :)

Halfway through the opening track of Joe Keery's The Crux, a line emerges that sounds like casual conversation: "My dog is at my house again, but I live somewhere else." The song refuses to settle into predictable pop architecture, drifting from whispered confession to baroque strings that recall Pachelbel more than indie rock. Recorded live at NYU, Charlie explores how this structural restlessness reflects broader questions about authenticity in contemporary music, examining how Keery's creative process emerged from practical constraints like writing in Stranger Things trailers and stripping back arrangements to work live. The album's hotel metaphor isn't marketing concept but lived displacement: temporary rooms, fractured domesticity, the search for stability. From the snarky dismissiveness of "Basic Being Basic" to a stadium-rock anthem written for his sisters, The Crux demonstrates how eclectic influences can serve cohesive emotional architecture, trusting listeners to follow sophisticated progressions while never losing sight of why these songs matter to people finding their way back to their own hearts. Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comToday I'm honored to introduce you all to: Montauk and Camp Hero, ritual abuse, mind control, human experimentation, and organized abuse survivor, whistleblower, and overcomer, former Camp Hero employee, loving father, biking, hiking and outdoor lover, former actor, humanitarian, and passionate purveyor of truth: Joe Loffreno For many years of his life, Joe was the steadfast steward of Camp Hero State Park, a wild, windswept stretch at the eastern edge of Long Island, where craggy cliffs meet the restless Atlantic. This abandoned military base, with its looming Cold War-era radar tower and whispered ties to Stranger Things, is more than a workplace for Joe - it's the epicenter of his life, his memories, and his nightmares. “It's a place that's dominated my life,” he's confessed, his voice carrying the weight of decades spent unraveling its mysteries.A Montauk native, Joe's walked the park's eerie trails and sealed WWII gunnery tunnels, knowing its secrets better than most. But it's his own story that sets him apart - a chilling discovery that he was one of the “Montauk Boys,” abducted as a child during the 80's. It was under hypnosis that he would have vivid memories flooded back: a stranger luring him to the base, men in civilian clothes leading him to a sunken house, and an underground lab where he lay on a table, wires snaking from his body like a science experiment gone wrong. “They analyzed us like animals,” he recalls, haunted by visions of up to 50 other kids, some of whom he believes met darker fates. “It was a very dark, very evil thing.”Despite the skepticism he's received surrounding the truth around Camp Hero, Joe's conviction is unshakable. He's no eccentric recluse; he's a grounded former parks employee, a friend to locals, a man of integrity and conviction, and a father with strong bonds to his children. His discovery, with another employee, of remnants matching his hypnotic visions only fuels his resolve. “If I could dig, I'd find cement structures down there,” he's insisted while pointing to a spot he's certain holds answers. For those of you who have been listening and following along to this podcast featuring survivors of MK ULTRA, Montauk is a location many of you have heard time and time again. Some survivors still believe experimentation on children is still taking place there to this day underneath the ruins of what was once an operational military base. Today, we are going to find out and learn more pieces to the Camp Hero puzzle from a man whose personal experiences at Montauk - both as an unwitting child and as an adult employed by the park itself - are invaluable to the questions we all still have. Joe's story is a testament to resilience, a man confronting a past shrouded in mystery while safeguarding a place that draws Stranger Things fans and truth-seekers alike. Camp Hero, with its rusting 90-foot radar tower and abandoned bunkers, is Long Island's own Area 51 - a vortex of intrigue where history and conspiracy collide. And Joe stands at its heart, a guardian of its secrets, driven by a quest for truth and a refusal to let the shadows of his childhood define him.

At the eastern tip of Long Island stands an abandoned military base, its rusting radar tower looming over the trees. Known as Camp Hero, this site has become the center of one of America's most bizarre conspiracy legends: the Montauk Project. Stories tell of secret government experiments—mind control, psychic warfare, time travel, even contact with beings from other dimensions—all supposedly hidden behind the chain-link fences of Montauk. Were these just wild tales born from Cold War paranoia, or evidence of real experiments the government worked hard to bury? In this episode, we explore the strange and unsettling mystery of the Montauk Project.
YoutubeInstagramAmazonFacebookBioThe video for “Neon Dreamers,” the latest single from Arcade Knights, opens on a futuristic cityscape reminiscent of Blade Runner or Tron. As the visuals unfold, soaring vintage synthesizers and thunderous reverb-soaked drums create a cinematic soundscape. Digitized female vocals deliver the track's core message:We're the neon dreamers lighting up the skyChasing our tomorrow, never asking whyWith our hearts electric, breaking through the darkIn this digital world, we'll make our markEvoking the atmosphere of the Stranger Things soundtrack as much as Daft Punk, the song explores a timeless question: What does it mean to be human in a world dominated by machines? That question lies at the heart of Arcade Knights, the synthwave-cyberpunk electronic project of Canadian musician Dean Parsons. Known for his deep love of 1980s drum machines and synthesizers, Parsons incorporates authentic hardware such as the LinnDrum and Oberheim OB-8 into his work. While modern software can replicate these sounds, he prefers the analog warmth and tactile experience of physical instruments, embracing the buttons, knobs, and patch cables that bring a unique authenticity to his production process.Unlike most contemporary producers, Parsons creates entirely outside of a digital audio workstation. Every track is written, recorded, and mixed using his MPC hardware sequencer, a process he believes allows more emotion to come through the physical act of playing.“My main production machine is not a DAW,” he explains. “Every track, every note, every melody is crafted and recorded through purpose-built hardware. There's a lot of heart that comes through the keys and pads.”“Neon Dreamers” serves as a companion piece to Cyber Hack, the full-length album released earlier this year. The record tells the story of hackers raised in an AI-driven world who use their skills to protect humanity, ensuring technology serves people rather than controlling them. The theme reflects Parsons' own life. Growing up in the 1980s surrounded by Commodore 64s and science-fiction films like Terminator and RoboCop, and later working as a cybersecurity expert, he has lived at the intersection of the analog and digital worlds.“It's important to embrace technology, but not let it control your life,” Parsons says. “Technology is advancing rapidly, and if we continue to depend on it blindly, it may begin to control us. I love technology, but it's a double-edged sword. The message of Cyber Hack is that we must remain the ones in control.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.
