This week: The crew kicks off with some genuinely great news: Gary Chalk (the voice of Optimus Primal!) has beaten stage four Hodgkin's lymphoma and is in full remission. From there it's all Transformers chaos — the Generation Selects Monstrucker reveal has everyone hyped (Slog's alt mode is literally just a triceratops standing up, and somehow that's perfect), while 2026 product listings bring a BotCon-referencing Megazarak redeco, an Earthrise Autobot 3-pack with finally-opaque Datsun plastics, and a Walmart Energon capsule that the crew suspects will be drowning in clear plastic. In-hand photos of the Stranger Things crossover Frequency impress even the hosts who've never watched the show. All that and more on this week's Radio Free Cybertron!

Sam and Jeff are heading to Seattle and they're buzzing with anticipation. They've been researching Pike Market, debating whether to try clams and oysters, and considering a true crime tour. (Though they joke they'll probably be asleep by 10 PM anyway.)The conversation weaves through Nancy Grace's return to cover a missing person case and America's Most Wanted, before landing on their bigger plan: a trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Sam's planning to visit Dollywood, a True Crime Museum with six floors covering everything from medieval crime to serial killers, plus a Titanic Museum and Noah's Ark Museum.Between weekend stories about disappointing beer festivals and awkward comedy fundraisers, they share their struggle through an intense hot yoga class that left them repeatedly retreating to child's pose. One of them discovered they get faint when consuming cannabis while meal prepping, which led to ordering Alibaba Kebabs instead of cooking.Sam's been watching Love is Blind and questioning why contestants with ideal partners keep pursuing others, critiquing Stranger Things for making magical abilities contingent on coming-out storylines, and expressing outrage over Tyra Banks's handling of serious incidents on America's Next Top Model.Ready for some honest takes on travel plans, reality TV drama, and weekend adventures?
In this Hot Topic episode of The Neurodivergent Experience, Jordan James and Simon Scott react to major BAFTA wins for I Swear — including Robert Aramayo taking home Best Actor and the EE Rising Star Award. After previously calling it a “travesty” that Aramayo wasn't Oscar-nominated, Jordan reflects on why this win feels so significant — not just for the actor, but for neurodivergent representation in film. They unpack why I Swear works: it doesn't reduce Tourette's to a stereotype, it tells the story of one human being. The film focuses on John Davidson's life, not just his diagnosis — showing difference without pity, and representation without forcing a message. The conversation expands into a wider discussion about authentic storytelling vs performative diversity, why some representation feels natural while others feel manufactured, and how shows like Malcolm in the Middle, The Simpsons, Stranger Things, Bob's Burgers, and Rick and Morty have portrayed neurodivergent-coded characters for decades without making diagnosis the sole narrative.Note: This episode was recorded before wider discussion emerged regarding a moment during the BAFTA ceremony involving an involuntary vocal tic from John Davidson. We recognise the complexity and sensitivity of the situation. Our discussion here focuses specifically on the significance of authentic neurodivergent representation in film. This episode discusses:Robert Aramayo's BAFTA winWhy I Swear resonates so deeplyAuthentic vs forced representationTourette's, autism, ADHD and coded charactersThe legacy of Rain Man and stereotypesWhy storytelling should centre the person, not the conditionHow powerful representation builds confidenceNeurodivergent “goggles” and seeing ND traits everywhereWhy natural inclusion works better than box-tickingA passionate, funny, and thoughtful reaction episode about film, advocacy, and why authentic representation matters more than ever. Our Sponsors:

Welcome back to your favorite daily comedy show, where the financial advice is questionable, the celebrity gossip is unhinged, and the emotional family mediation somehow happens between Metallica announcements and Eddie Murphy deep cuts.Today's chaos kicks off with a simple hypothetical: take $10 million right now… but you lose the last 10 years of your life. Easy money? Or are you giving up prime bingo years, fabric store friendships, and threatening-your-kids-with-the-will energy? Lern says “cut the check.” The rest of us spiral. We roll through “Back in the Day,” celebrating everything from the 15th Amendment to Bruce Springsteen's first Grammy win, while somehow detouring into Stranger Things soundtrack confusion and Tina Turner impressions that should probably stay off Broadway. Then it's full-blown Crap On Celebrities:Metallica officially heads to the Sphere in Vegas. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame fan vote is already getting spicy. The Breaking Bad house in Albuquerque sells for HOW MUCH?!Christina Applegate shares an emotional health update.Bill Gates says “my bad” in the most billionaire way possible.Amanda Seyfried reveals she wore a prosthetic… yes… that… in a new film.AMC is gatekeeping the good movie seats like it's VIP bottle service.Oh—and we deep dive into actors who tried music careers. Bradley Cooper. Ryan Gosling. Jennifer Lawrence. And of course, the undisputed king of Spotify Wrapped heartbreak, Patrick Swayze. “She's Like the Wind” makes its monthly appearance and honestly? We're not mad about it.We wrap things up with a real-life family dilemma involving jealousy, step-parenting, prison dads, and co-signing car loans. It's heartfelt. It's messy. It's exactly what happens when a daily comedy show accidentally stumbles into group therapy. If you came for weird news, hilarious fails, entertainment gossip, and sarcastic St. Louis humor… congratulations. You found your people. This episode of The Rizzuto Show is your reminder that life is fragile, Metallica tickets will bankrupt you, and sometimes the biggest argument of the morning is about whether anyone truly needed to see an 18th-century prosthetic B-hole.Welcome to the daily comedy show that makes your commute significantly weirder.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

With Stranger Things recently ending the SOMC crew decided it would be a good time to talk about the series and why it made such an impact in pop culture. The gang talks about the things the show got right and areas where it missed. The conversation also gets thoughtful about the way TV is made these days and how that influenced the finale of this series.

We continue our look back at some of the most noteworthy and interesting horror films of 2025 (#2025stillalive) with an examination of Steven Soderbergh's unconventional haunted family drama, PRESENCE. Shown entirely from the perspective of a mysterious entity moving among them, Presence displays the escalating tensions of a family as they settle into a new home. As tensions escalate between the nuclear family members, and pressures begin to boil from both internal and external conflicts, the titular presence watches them all. Who, or what, is this presence? Why is it here? What does it want or need? And in what ways, if any, will it be able to affect the fate of this family? We're joined by FoGger friends both new and old -- Nicole Amato, Will Frank, and (making his debut) Mike Runyon -- to discuss the film's fascinating thematic interests about time, connection, regret, grief, fear, outrage, and (possibly) redemption. It's a fascinating film and an even more fascinating conversation. Also featuring a Patron-only segment where Nathan is joined by Nicole Amato and (also making his debut) Josh Heake to discuss STRANGER THINGS, Season 5, Episode 6, this is a hearty and lively conversation that we really hope you enjoy.4:26 - Two Questions with Mike Runyon12:04 - Whatcha Playin'?Patron Only Segment: STRANGER THINGS, Season 5, Episode 628:31 - PRESENCESee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Today, we're chatting with Monica and Scotti, a mother-daughter team behind CS80 Vintage who are rediscovering the 80s in a way neither of them expected. Monica, who once worked in sporting goods and later built a career in photography and organizing – helping people deal with large-scale hoards and inventories, stumbled into a massive vintage collection during the pandemic. When the original owner, Franz, passed after years of illness, the inventory — tucked into basements, an attic, gazebos, and storage pods — just sat. Nobody knew what to do with it. Her daughter, Scotti, now 23, grew up thrifting and has always loved vintage – now she's helping mom preserve an incredible archive of true 1980s deadstock sportswear. Neither Monica or Scotti set out to be vintage dealers. They've learned from conversations with experts and mentors and midnight eBay searches, like we all do. They have uncovered what turns out to be — by the account of multiple experts — one of the largest deadstock vintage sportswear collections ever found: 10,000 pairs of sneakers, thousands of hats, blanks, jerseys, satin jackets, and more. Every single piece true deadstock, never worn, straight from the warehouse. On today's show, they'll share how they did it. All the sales strategies, collaborations and pop-ups. Scotty came home, built a website from scratch, launched their Instagram in December, and within two weeks had gained 28,000 followers. How their drops sell out reaching collectors from Paris to Japan. A pair of boxing shoes sold to a film produced by Sylvester Stallone. Their clothes filled the set of a Target x Stranger Things commercial. But more than any of that, this is a story about honoring Franz's life work, about a mother and daughter collaboration, and about what it means to be the unexpected stewards of something rare. It's a really really good one — let's dive in. DISCUSSED IN THE EPISODE: [5:57] How Monica and Scotti came into the largest deadstock vintage sportswear collections known to exist. [12:21] How they started to discover the value of this collection. [14:14] A mentor warned Monica she could "destroy the vintage market" — and the responsibility to sell slowly. [15:12] Their first major sale was a buyer from Japan at the Alameda Flea Market — the moment Monica and her husband realized what they really had. [19:00] Scotti came home, launched a website for CS80 and started Instagram sales. [21:49] How pricing works differently depending on geography, buyer, and context — and why the story behind CS80 commands higher prices than comparable pieces. [24:07] Honoring Franz's life work and what it means to be the unexpected stewards of something so rare. [30:32] Most surprising finds and holy grail collector moments [33:56] What they've learned about vintage labels and how a single label difference can change value by hundreds of dollars. [39:53] What happens when CS80 sells the last deadstock piece? [47:43] Favorite personal pieces they've kept, and what comes next. By 1986, Metallica's assault on the music establishment and eardrums was in full force. Their previous album, Ride The Lightning, had caught the attention of Elektra Records who signed them to an 8 record deal. Though they refused to make videos, weren't on MTV and didn't really release singles, the band gained fans anywhere they played live and through an underground tape trading community. They were establishing thrash metal alongside Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax through constant touring and a relentless lifestyle. The boys really upped their game on Master of Puppets through stronger vocals from James Hetfield, more punishing riffs and melodic (and sometimes spacey) bass from Cliff Burton. The opener Battery sets the tone for this very influential album before giving way to the 8+ minute title track. True to form, Metallica offered up an instrumental in Orion which was heavily influenced by the classical training of Cliff Burton. Songs about war (Disposable Heroes), fake evangelism (Leper Messiah), insanity Welcome Home (Sanitarium) make for one amazing heavy metal album, the likes of which the world hadn't seen. We talk about the songs, what they mean in the Metallica catalog, their tour for the record with Ozzy and of course the tragedy in Sweden that took the life of Cliff Burton. From underground band to being featured on Stranger Things, the journey of Master of Puppets is one for the ages. How does a young agency land a partnership with Netflix, Pepsi, and Doritos? Meet Jay Singh, the founder of Casper Studios and a former LinkedIn Business Development lead who is redefining how we think about distribution in the age of AI. Jay's team recently powered a voice AI experience for Stranger Things that saw over 400,000 fans call in to speak with their favorite characters, resulting in a staggering 30% revenue lift for their partners. In this episode, we move past the AI hype to discuss the "deterministic vs. probabilistic" debate, why Jay builds products specifically to lower his Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and how he uses a long-horizon LinkedIn strategy to land Private Equity clients. If you want to know how the biggest brands in the world are navigating the transition to AI—and how you can protect yourself from the dark side of voice cloning—listen in. Most entrepreneurs struggle to move from "building" to "distributing." In this episode, Jay Singh, CEO and Founder of Casper Studios, joins Ashok Sivanand to pull back the curtain on the 400,000-call marketing campaign for Netflix, Pepsi, and Doritos. Jay shares the surprising reason why the creators of Stranger Things pulled back on fully generative AI, choosing instead a deterministic model that drove a 30% lift in-store. We explore Jay's background at LinkedIn, the future of digital identity and verification, and a specific 6-month networking framework that can land even the most elusive "whale" clients. Whether you are leading an AI transition in a Private Equity firm or trying to protect your family from voice cloning, this conversation provides a front-row seat to the future of media and technology. In this episode: The Stranger Things Activation: A deep dive into the 400k-call "Teen Telethon" and the ROI of voice AI. Distribution over Product: Why Casper Studios builds "learning products" to acquire enterprise customers. The LinkedIn Strategy: A 6-month framework for building authority and landing mid-market PE clients. Digital Identity: Why a family "safe word" is the most important security tool you own. AI Adoption Roadmaps: How to implement AI in regulated industries without the legal headaches. Mentioned in this episode... Last night we watched "GOAT" and immediately looked at each other like… yeah, this one hits. In this episode, we talk about why this movie stayed with us. It is fun, fast and completely entertaining for kids, but underneath it is really about believing in your child before the world does. We get into the power of the words we say, the fear we sometimes project onto our kids and what it means to truly let them try. The film features a standout cast including Caleb McLaughlin and his Stranger Things co-star David Harbour, alongside Gabrielle Union, Aaron Pierre, Nicola Coughlan and Nick Kroll. NBA champion Stephen Curry, Ayesha Curry, Dwyane Wade and WNBA stars Angel Reese and A'ja Wilson also lend their voices, bringing real star power to Will's underdog journey. From loose teeth and Tooth Fairy drama to big dreams like the Great Wall of China, this conversation turned into something deeper than we expected. "GOAT" is in theaters now and it is such a good pick for a full family movie night.
