Join me to read John Owen's classic book “The Mortification of Sin in Believers”. This book is one of the best that have ever been written about how to live a holy life. This chapter is about how we need to get to know God better so we can have a right understanding of his majesty.Topics covered in this chapter:* How we should consider the excellence and majesty of God* How it is that we do not know God as we should or could* How our knowledge of God should lead us to humilityFind out more about my book, Confused by Grace. You can download a copy of John Owen's book (for free) from this website. Believers are God's children. Knowing who we are impacts our daily living in everything concerning us as well as how we should see ourselves. We're no longer our old selves, but are now righteous, redeemed, holy, and perfect in Christ. Believing this changes the way we think, which in turn changes our behavior for the better. Because of what God did, we can now dispense with struggling through self-effort to become what we already are right now and simply embrace it. Got a question? Let us know! This week on Made For Mondays, Heather sits down with Jamey, Adrienne, and Megan Angel for one of the most joy-filled episodes of the year—our annual celebration of generosity: THE GIFT.After some Thanksgiving-weekend chitchat and reflections from the Bible Reading Challenge, the team dives into the heart of what makes this Sunday so special. Since everything in this episode centers around giving, Heather kicks things off by asking the crew to share some of their most memorable Christmas gifts—the ones that meant something, made them laugh, or left a lasting mark. From there, Jamey walks listeners through the why behind The Gift—before ever getting to the “what.” He shares the story of how it began, how it's grown, and why it continues to shape the culture of Believers Church year after year. Adrienne and Angel share their earliest memories of The Gift and the moments that helped them understand why it matters. The team highlights story after story of how generosity has opened doors, softened hearts, and drawn people to Jesus—simply because someone from Believers chose to be love in the community. They unpack:• What makes The Gift so counter-cultural in a skeptical world• The three goals that shape The Gift every year• Why those goals can transform how we see giving—and Christmas itself• This week's BIG IDEA:“Faith that doesn't cost you is counterfeit.”• How each of them is personally wrestling with generosity, sacrifice, and heart-posture this yearAnd of course…they finally unveil The Gift 2026 projects—what they are, why they matter, and how listeners can participate. Before closing, the team gives a sneak peek into the brand-new Christmas teaching series launching this Sunday: The Christmas Playlist.
Series: The Advent of ____Week 1 Title: The Advent of HopeMain Scriptures: Proverbs 13:12, Isaiah 40:1–5, Luke 1:30–32, Galatians 4:4, John 14:3, Romans 15:13Big Idea:Hope is not a wishful feeling—hope has a Name, perfect timing, and a promised future.Jesus is our Hope, our Living Hope, and our Coming King. I. Introduction — What Advent Really MeansAdvent = “coming” or “arrival.” Not just remembering Christ's birth but anticipating His return.Historically marked by fasting, reflection, and preparing room for Jesus.Weekly themes: Hope, Peace, Joy, Love.Hope is often the hardest to hold onto—even for strong believers.“Hope deferred makes the heart sick…” (Proverbs 13:12).Hope delayed makes the heart tired. Hope can feel risky or fragile. II. The Reality of HopelessnessMany feel “learned hopelessness”—after disappointment, unanswered prayers, and long waiting, the heart stops expecting anything to change.People do this spiritually the same way the dogs did in the study.BUT God does not want His children living in hopelessness.Isaiah was sent to speak comfort, forgiveness, and hope to weary people.Isaiah 40:1–5: A message of comfort, deliverance, and restoration. God is leveling valleys and mountains—He is preparing a way. III. Truth #1 — HOPE HAS A NAMEHope is not a concept; it's a person—Jesus.Luke 1:30–32: The angel reveals Jesus as the promised One tied to Isaiah's prophecy.Jesus is our Hope… our Blessed Hope… our Living Hope. Our hope is anchored not in circumstances but in who God is. IV. Truth #2 — HOPE HAS PERFECT TIMINGGod's timing is not Amazon Prime—but it's always right on time.Galatians 4:4 — “When the set time had fully come, God sent His Son…”The 400 “silent years” were not silent—God was preparing the world:Socratic method encouraged questions.Old Testament translated into Greek.Jews scattered across the world.Rome built highways and unified language. When conditions were perfect for the gospel to spread, Jesus came.God works the same way in our waiting—He aligns things we cannot see. V. Truth #3 — HOPE IS COMING AGAINAdvent looks backward and forward—Jesus will return.John 14:3 — “I will come back and take you to be with Me…”A future hope: resurrection, restoration, eternal life.Proverbs 13:12 (full verse): Hope fulfilled becomes a “tree of life”—a sign of healing and wholeness in Revelation. One day every longing will be fulfilled.Until then, we choose hope. VI. Closing — A Call to RespondGroup 1: Those far from God—hope is not in something; it's in Someone.Group 2: Believers carrying heavy burdens—Romans 15:13 prayer of overflowing hope.Hope is our posture, our anchor, our promise.“Our hope is not in desired outcomes—but in God Himself.”
Paul closes Colossians by showing that Christians share a common mission shaped by Christ's love and courage. Even in his suffering, he reminds them that God is at work forming unlikely bonds and strengthening His people. Believers are called to comfort one another through presence, prayer, and living out Scripture together. In all things, Christ never abandons His people, and our lasting crown is our relationship with Him and each other.
Believers are able to walk in Christ's grace only as we know him fully. Anything else is a diminished walk of faith.Subscribe to daily devotions e-mails: https://wcm.link/ddsub
The Unity Between Strong and Weak Believers Part Five Romans 15:1-7
Inheritance in Christ: Herb explained that, unlike Old Testament inheritance where only the eldest son received everything, in the New Covenant every born-again believer inherits all that God has—eternal life, spiritual blessings, authority, and the Holy Spirit. Eternal Life Starts Now: Eternal life begins at the moment of being born again, not just after death. Adoption and Authority: Believers are adopted as sons of God, co-heirs with Christ, and have authority to rule in their world, starting with their neighborhood. Spiritual Blessings and Power: Every spiritual blessing, forgiveness, righteousness, wisdom, grace, peace, and purpose are part of the inheritance. Believers have freedom from sin’s power and victory over the enemy. Kingdom of Heaven: The Kingdom of God is within believers, and they have authority to bind and loose on earth as in heaven. Practical Application: Herb encouraged using spiritual authority to pray for and impact neighborhoods, resist negative thoughts, and speak God’s Word to overcome challenges. Faith and Revelation: Moving from sense knowledge to revelation knowledge is key; believers must claim their inheritance by faith and not let doubt or worldly thinking limit them. Responsibility and Dominion: Believers are responsible for advancing God’s Kingdom, resisting Satan, and setting captives free by sharing the Word. Identity in Christ: The believer’s identity is defined by union with Jesus, not by past or circumstances. All spiritual blessings are available now. Call to Action: Herb closed by urging everyone to claim their inheritance, walk in authority, and do the works Jesus did, as everything He finished is now in believers.

Do you dread grey hair, wrinkles, sagging skin and the body limits/deterioration that the world tells us comes with getting older? If so ... today I offer Biblical hope for you! The Bible actually has a ton to say about how to stay strong and vibrant, even in old age. Deuteronomy 33:25 “Your strength will equal your days.” That is one of MANY verses that deal with remaining healthy!I share today about:1. How to receive the anti-aging promises in the Bible2. Why even destructive health choices of your youth can still be healed and redeemed (ex drinking that caused liver damage or tanning that caused skin cancer)3. Powerful scriptures about youthfulness to declare over your life and family4. Why you never have to love the appearance of aging (it wasn't the original plan God had for you!)5. Bible characters who never got weaker in body or strength with age (ex Moses climbed a mountain in old age! Joshua was as strong of warrior at 80 as he was at 40!) 6. The true Spirit of God acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, while the spirit of the antichrist denies Him. Believers are from God and have overcome the world because the One who is in them is greater than the one in the world. John emphasizes the essential nature of love. Love originates from God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows Him. God demonstrated His love by sending His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. Since God loved us, we ought to love one another. If we love, God dwells in us, perfecting His love in us. We are to stay alert and grounded in truth. Not everything we hear should be trusted, so we must test it against what we know about Jesus. When we center our lives on Him, we gain the strength to stand firm. Love is not just something we talk about; it is something we must live out daily. If God loved us enough to send His Son, then we should reflect that same love to others. This means showing patience, forgiveness, and kindness, even when it is not easy. As we love more deeply, we create space for God to work through us. His presence becomes real in our relationships, especially in deeply committed love toward brothers and sisters in Christ. Honorable God, grant us the wisdom to properly discern truth from error. Please provide us with cautious hearts and minds regarding what we hear and choose to believe. When in doubt, lead us to lean into greater love: for You, Your people, and everyone we encounter. Thank You for demonstrating Your incredible love by sending Your Son as the propitiation for our sins. We will draw from that act of kindness to shape how we care for others. Help us develop a perfect love that casts out fear. May we be joyfully obedient to You and kind to our Christian family. Thought Questions: What are the “spirits” that you need to test, and how do you do that? Why is it essential to be a consistent, daily bible student? Why should God's people love and help and serve one another in a way that is beyond anything the world could ever understand? How does perfect love cast out fear? How do you develop that level of love for God and others, freeing yourself from fear of punishment?
Did Old Testament believers know about heaven and hell? In this episode of Ask Dr. E, Dr. Michael Easley unpacks what ancient Israelites believed about eternity, salvation, and the afterlife. Through passages from Psalms, Daniel, and Job, Dr. E reveals how figures like David, Enoch, and Job expressed faith in eternal life—long before the New Testament.

Psalm 135 both encourages us and warns us that we tend to resemble what we worship. Believers should worship him and him alone, as we do; the testimony of Scripture is that we will become more like Christ. Devotionables #871 - THE GREATNESS OF GOD & THE FOOLISHNESS OF IDOLS Psalm 135 The Psalms Devotionables is a ministry of The Ninth & O Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. naobc.org
If worship still feels like the “warm-up” before the sermon, you're missing its most powerful purpose. What if worship is actually the fastest way to tune your ears to hear God clearly……and most believers have never been taught how it really works?Today, worship leader and Bible teacher Matt Coss breaks open a revelation that will shift the way you approach God's presence — in church, in your car, and in your everyday walk with Him.
Pastor Scott closes the Money Talks series with a message on the importance of tithing as a biblical principle. Believers are encouraged to trust and test God by returning a tenth of their income to Him, fostering a mindset of stewardship over ownership and underscoring God's faithfulness in providing for His people.
Are Digital IDs the Beginning of the Beast System? • The Todd Coconato Show Website: www.toddcoconato.com | www.pastortodd.org To give and support this ministry and these broadcasts: www.toddcoconato.com/give We are living in a time of rapid technological advancement. Governments, banks, tech giants, and global institutions are pushing for centralized digital identification systems that would verify identity, track movement, authorize payments, and access government services. Many believers are asking whether these systems are connected to the end-time Beast system spoken of in Scripture. Today, we are going to examine the Word of God and then look at the concerns surrounding digital IDs with biblical clarity and discernment. Digital IDs are not the mark of the beast, but they strongly resemble the infrastructure that could be used to implement the mark. The technology is preparing the world for a future system of total control. Believers must stay awake, informed, prayed up, and rooted in the Word.
This week, Soma Church Youth Pastor Roger Sims uses the Parable Of The Sower to talk about how Believers respond to The Word Of God, especially as it relates the older generation commending their works to the next generation.
In this episode of The Directed Life, Kap Chatfield unpacks how the enemy strategically attacks the identity of believers just as Babylon tried to rename Daniel and his friends. As AI reshapes the marketplace and the world moves into unprecedented acceleration, Kap reveals why followers of Jesus must reclaim their royal identity to stand firm and thrive. This message exposes the lies that try to redefine God's people, highlights Jesus' victory over the identity test in the wilderness, and shows how wisdom not information will set believers apart in the days ahead. If you want clarity, confidence, and alignment with heaven's calling on your life, this episode will awaken your purpose and strengthen your walk.
The Christian walk is like a wide receiver running a route in football. The defensive back's goal is to jam the receiver at the line and knock him off his route. Spiritually, the enemy tries to do the same - using distraction, doubt, temptation, and discouragement. Believers must study the spiritual playbook (God's Word) just like a receiver studies his playbook to know the routes. Studying the Word builds confidence and prepares you for when the enemy attacks early. Scripture and prayer are the spiritual “hand moves” that help you break free from pressure. Keep your eyes on Jesus - the ultimate Quarterback - and run the route He designed. The enemy may slow you down, but he cannot stop you if you stay disciplined and stay in the Word. Core message: Don't let the devil jam you at the line. Keep running your God-given route.

God of the Living: God is not a God of the dead but of the living. Jesus declares in the Gospel that he did not make death, and in Christ death is abolished. This truth forms the foundation of the pro-life conviction. Believers defend life because life belongs to the God who conquered death.
Speaker: Rob BerrethScripture: Hebrews 13:7-19Episode Overview:In this sermon from Hebrews 13:7–19, we explore how God calls His people to relate to spiritual authority within the local church. Scripture paints a vision of leadership rooted in faithful teaching, Christlike character, and vigilant care for souls. At the same time, believers are invited to remember, imitate, obey, and pray for those who shepherd them. This passage offers a deeply biblical, countercultural picture of joyful leadership and joyful followership—one that flows from the grace and supremacy of Christ. Join us as we walk through three movements in the text: remembering and imitating godly pastors, obeying and yielding to spiritual leadership, and praying earnestly for those entrusted with watching over the church.Key Highlights:1. Remember and Imitate Your Pastors (Heb 13:7)• Godly leaders are marked first by speaking the Word of God faithfully.• Their way of life confirms the truth they teach as they strive to model mature Christian character.• Believers are called to consider and continually reflect on the outcome of their leaders' lives and to imitate their faith—not because leaders are perfect, but because they point to Christ.• Imitation is not blind allegiance; Christ alone is the One we follow.2. Obey and Submit to Your Leaders (Heb 13:17)• The command to obey is tied to being persuaded by biblical teaching, not to unquestioning compliance.• Submission describes a posture of willing cooperation rather than stubborn resistance.• Scripture provides limits to pastoral authority; leaders may only require what God Himself commands.• Healthy church life happens when pastors joyfully lead and believers joyfully respond.3. Pray Earnestly for Your Leaders (Heb 13:18–19)• Pastors “keep watch over souls” and will “give an account”—a weighty and joyful responsibility.• The church's prayers safeguard leaders from drifting into false teaching, strengthen their character, and support them in the demanding work of shepherding.• A praying church becomes a spiritually powerful church.Call to Action:This week, intentionally pray for the leaders God has placed in your life—that they would remain faithful to Scripture, walk with integrity, and lead with joy. At the same time, examine your own posture toward authority: ask the Lord to cultivate a heart that is humble, teachable, and eager to follow Him through the shepherds He has provided. Seek ways to encourage your spiritual leaders, and allow their example to spur you toward deeper faithfulness in your own walk with Christ.Redeemer Church211 Northshore Dr. Bellingham, WA 98226www.redeemernw.org

Sunday evening message from the pulpit of Falls Baptist Church
In this powerful message on "The Nearness of the Lord," Pastor Peter emphasizes that the nearness of God is our good, citing Psalm 73:28. He explains that the church is in a massive shift, moving from being preoccupied to preparing, and that Jesus's presence is essential and central for believers navigating increasing pressure in the world. The Lord is drawing near to end the devastation of prayerlessness in the church, highlighting that prayer is a priority. Believers are encouraged to recognize the nearness of the Lord and to step into their identity as a kingdom of priests to God the Father, a truth confirmed by the priesthood of all believers. This experience of God's nearness, exemplified by the Moravian Pentecost which led a divided community to devoted, unending prayer, inspires us to draw near to God with confidence through Jesus. The message concludes by illustrating this shift using the metaphor of Operation Dynamo, where a volunteer force of ordinary believers—the "little ships"—are being raised up to rescue the church from the "dunes of prayerlessness" and engage in chyros moments that change history and prepare the prophetic bride for Christ's return.
Is your spiritual life running on low power mode? In this message, Pastor Jamie Nunnally shares how to plug in and power up by fully immersing yourself in the Spirit. This world will drain you, but the Holy Spirit will sustain you. We need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.Baptize (baptizō) – to dip, immerse, submerge.3 Baptisms in the Bible:Baptism into the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:13 — At the moment you believe, the Spirit places you into Christ and His body, the Church.Water baptism (baptism in the name of Jesus). Water baptism publicly identifies you with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism into Christ changes your spiritual position; water baptism declares your spiritual decision.Baptism in the Holy Spirit. If water baptism is your announcement, Spirit baptism is your empowerment. It's being filled with the Spirit or the Spirit coming upon you. Acts 1 says you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit and receive power to be His witnesses.Four things to know about Baptism in the Holy Spirit:It is separate from salvation and follows salvation. Like drinking water vs. bathing in water—two different experiences with two different purposes. The disciples received the Spirit in John 20, but were baptized in the Spirit in Acts 2. Other examples include the Samaritans in Acts 8, Gentiles in Acts 10, and new believers in Acts 19.The Holy Spirit baptizes us for empowerment. Salvation—the Spirit in you—is a free gift. But the Spirit on you is so you can do something: • Power to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16). • Power to supernaturally minister to others (1 Corinthians 12:4-7). The Spirit within you is for your spiritual identity. The Spirit upon you is for your spiritual assignment. You receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit by asking for it. Luke 11 says your heavenly Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. This is a good gift from a good Father. You can be baptized in the Holy Spirit again and again. Acts 4 shows the same people from Acts 2 being filled again. Ephesians 5:18 says to be continually filled.Believers are instructed to engage in all three baptisms: the Spirit, the water, and the blood. If you're insecure in your salvation, maybe you don't have all three witnesses in operation.ClosingJesus didn't tell the disciples, "Go try your best." He said, "Don't leave until you're plugged in." Salvation puts you in Christ, water baptism declares your commitment, but baptism in the Holy Spirit connects the cable and fires the engine. You weren't designed to live unplugged, but empowered. Are you plugging in?
This special episode was recorded on November 8, 2025 at the Illinois Christian Home Educators (ICHE) annual youth conference in Carol Stream, Il.Building on powerful past stories, John highlights the unwavering faith, obedience, and urgency that have guided courageous Christians throughout history—from biblical times to today. His message serves as a heartfelt encouragement to all Believers, reminding them that God is always near, ready to lead and strengthen those who seek Him. With patience, trust, and a willing heart, every follower of Christ can hear His voice and walk boldly in obedience, knowing that His plans are always for our good, and His promises never fail.
Following Paul's closing words in 1 Timothy 6:11–21, this message reminds us that the Christian life is not peacetime but a real spiritual war. Believers are called to flee sin, actively pursue righteousness and godliness, and “fight the good fight of the faith” by clinging to the eternal life already given in Christ. Paul also warns against trusting in wealth and urges generous, kingdom-minded giving that stores up eternal treasure. Finally, we're challenged to guard the gospel deposit entrusted to The post 1 Timothy 6:11-21 – Wartime Living appeared first on Island Pond Baptist Church.
Believers are called to be "living stones," built upon Yahshua, the precious cornerstone, showing their belonging to Yahweh by living according to His Torah and proclaiming His set-apart name.
As we come to Paul's final words in his letter to the Ephesians, we see where theology meets the personal impact of the Gospel. In this message, we'll see how Believers are not just called to know Truth, but to share their lives, pursue one another, and strengthen each other in love. Welcome to the Grace in Focus podcast. Today, Bob Wilkin and Sam Marr are answering a question relating to good works and 1 Corinthians 3:15. At the Judgment Seat of Christ, will all believers have at least some good works? Will some have zero good works? What gets consumed by the fire and what lasts?
Main Theme: The message continues the study of Joshua chapters 10–11, exploring how God led Israel to fully conquer their enemies. Pastor emphasized that these natural battles symbolize our spiritual warfare—the believer's call to finish battles of faith, destroy sin's influence, and walk in victory through obedience. Opening and Global Prayer The service began with intercession for Christians under persecution in Nigeria and Sudan, highlighting that while Western believers face spiritual battles, others face literal physical danger for their faith. Pastor led prayer for God's mercy, protection, and bold witness among the persecuted church. Israel's Battle and Spiritual Parallels (Joshua 10:16–43) Joshua commanded the army to seal the five kings in the cave at Makkedah, pursue the enemy, and finish the battle. After victory, Joshua had his captains place their feet on the necks of the kings—a prophetic act of dominion. This became a picture of spiritual warfare: “Sometimes we don't finish the battle. We let things live that God told us to destroy.” Believers must pursue sin and temptation until they are “dust under our feet.” Partial obedience leads to future bondage. Lesson: Don't leave sin alive. Whatever is not put to death will eventually come back to destroy. Just as Joshua completed every battle, we must close every spiritual door and cut off access to the enemy. God's Ways and the Danger of Presumption Pastor reminded the congregation that God moves in diverse ways: “Sometimes He fights supernaturally; other times He works through natural means or people—but it's always His hand.” He warned against putting God in a box or expecting Him to act the same way every time, which leads to a Pharisaical mindset. True faith trusts His sovereignty regardless of method. The Severity of Sin Joshua's command to destroy the Canaanite nations often troubles modern readers, but Pastor explained: God owns everything; He is perfectly just in judgment. Israel's destruction of wicked nations demonstrates the seriousness of sin, not cruelty. “We don't see how wicked sin really is… we've redefined it as conditions or sickness instead of rebellion against God.” Sin caused death, chaos, and even required the crucifixion of God's Son to be redeemed. God's judgment isn't biased—He later judged Israel the same way when they turned to idolatry. “He's long-suffering, but He's also holy.” God the Redeemer Pastor used the analogy of the pawn shop and Hosea's marriage: Humanity belonged to God but sold itself to sin. Yet God, though rightful owner, paid again with the blood of Christ to buy us back. “He walked into the spiritual pawn shop and paid for the whole store.” This is the picture of grace: redemption at a cost God didn't owe. Spiritual Warfare and Finishing the Fight (Joshua 11) The northern kings united against Israel, but God reassured Joshua: “Do not be afraid. I will deliver them into your hand.” God again fought for Israel, proving that obedience keeps God's presence active. Joshua's faithfulness to continue Moses' commands showed continuity—obedience to divine instruction brings sustained victory. Application: Romans 6 and the War Within Pastor connected Joshua's battles to Romans 6, explaining how believers must fight sin with the same intensity: “Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid.” Through baptism, we are united with Christ's death and resurrection. Therefore, sin has no dominion over believers: “Even when you fail, your position in Christ overrides your condition.” Victory comes by renewing the mind with the Word, speaking God's truth over ourselves, and closing every door to sin. Believers must “cut off options” that lead back to bondage—relationships, habits, or influences that tempt the flesh. Becoming a Bondservant Paul called himself a bondslave of Christ—one who chooses to stay out of love, not compulsion. Pastor contrasted this with modern Christians who seek convenience: “Christianity isn't weakness—it's surrender. The greatest opportunity isn't success, it's becoming a man or woman of God.” Closing Exhortation God desires full victory for His people—no compromise, no partial obedience. The Christian walk is discipleship as a journey, not a destination. Every battle is an opportunity to grow stronger in faith and obedience. “Cut off what tempts you. Pursue your enemies until they're dust under your feet. You are dead to sin and alive to God. Finish the fight.” Core Message Don't leave sin alive—finish the battle. God's justice reveals the true horror of sin. You are redeemed at great cost—live as one who's been bought back. Renew your mind, close every door to the enemy, and walk in your position in Christ. The greatest victory is not survival—it's surrender.
J. Warner Wallace examines the impact that Christian believers have had on our world and the impact that theistic faith has on culture. While many "new atheists" argue that belief in God is "not good" for our society, the truth is just the opposite. Believers have contributed to our culture in ways that are often taken for granted and our country was founded in Christian principles held by theistic believers. J. Warner describes four central Christian beliefs that have helped to shape our society in a positive way. For more information about the cumulative case for the existence of God, see J. Warner's book, God's Crime Scene.
Gary continues speaking with Kim Burgess about 1 Corinthians 15 and the timing and nature of the resurrection. Kim continues teaching about Sheol, the realm of the dead, and how Jesus gave victory over it. Believers no longer die and go to Sheol, they immediately enter the presence of Christ. As Paul taught, "to live is Christ and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21) and "absent from the body, present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:8).
Knowing who we are and why we were created requires that we understand and live from our identity in Christ rather than trying to become something through performance. Believers are already complete, holy, and righteous in Christ and need to align themselves with these truths rather than trying to achieve them. This true identity impacts various areas of life including marriage, work, and prayer. A key point is that guilt and shame act as "identity amnesia," causing believers to forget who they are in Christ.; coming out of hiding is therefore essential to defeating shame. For a successful life, we must learn to apply these identity truths. To support the ministry financially, text "CDMPodcast" to 74483 or visit www.worldchangers.org
