Dort sammelte er erste Erfahrung, wie seine Texte beim Publikum ankamen. Nämlich hervorragend, wenn man die Lacher zählte. Von der Chaussee nun vor die Mattscheibe: 2024 erschien sein 23. Buch „Zu Hause an den Bildschirmen“. Kurz darauf erhielt der Berliner den Literaturpreis der Stahlstiftung Eisenhüttenstadt. Danuta Schmidt lebt und arbeitet seit 25 Jahren in Berlin als Journalistin, Autorin und Moderatorin. In ihrer eigenen Reihe SonntagsLese, die sie 15 Jahre initiierte, traf sie interessante Menschen, von berühmt bis berüchtigt. Le bouddhisme, c'est comme le vélo Pour atteindre l'illumination, tu dois simplement continuer à rouler ! Albert Einstein, que j'admire beaucoup, a dit : "La vie, c'est comme faire du vélo - pour garder l'équilibre, il faut rester en mouvement" ! Une phrase presque bouddhiste, c'est pourquoi elle m'a inspiré l'article d'aujourd'hui. Celui qui suit les enseignements de Bouddha ne peut avoir qu'un seul objectif : "l'illumination" ! L'héritage du grand homme a été son éveil, son message pour nous est que l'illumination se trouve en chaque être humain et peut être atteinte par tous. Qu'est-ce que je veux dire par "le bouddhisme, c'est comme faire du vélo" ? Eh bien, un bouddhiste ne peut pas suivre 'à temps partiel' les enseignements du modèle historique, soit on est bouddhiste, soit on ne l'est pas. La philosophie du Bouddha s'immisce donc dans tous les domaines de notre vie, par exemple dans la manière dont nous nous comportons avec les autres, ce que nous mangeons et comment nous le faisons, comment nous gagnons notre vie, comment nous considérons les choses, et même notre attitude politique, mais aussi les opinions générales sur la vie, comme dans les grandes religions (amour du prochain, décence, honneur). Dans ce contexte, il n'est pas si simple d'"arrêter le vélo", de faire une pause dans son trajet. Les "règles" confuses des différentes communautés bouddhistes constituent un gros problème pour les personnes extérieures. Les directives diffèrent parfois fortement en fonction des différentes branches bouddhistes, des traditions très différentes se sont développées dans les différents pays asiatiques. Je suis la lignée bouddhiste du temple de Shaolin, fondée par Bodhidharma vers 500 après Jésus-Christ. Cette philosophie de l'introspection, dérivée du bouddhisme Mahayana, est appelée "bouddhisme Chan" en Chine, tandis qu'en Occident, son enseignement a été connu sous le nom de "bouddhisme Zen". Le Chan (Zen) se caractérise par la méditation (exercices d'attention ou de concentration) en tant que pratique spirituelle qui élargit la conscience. L'objectif est l'expérience de l'éveil (comme l'a montré le Bouddha historique). L'important pour tous les bouddhistes est de toujours poursuivre le voyage (avec le vélo imaginaire), de ne pas arrêter les aspirations, de ne pas interrompre le voyage vers l'illumination. Le voyage vers "l'illumination" peut parfois nous faire 'mal aux jambes', il peut y avoir des retours en arrière, des doutes sur soi-même, peut-être l'incompréhension de l'entourage, pourquoi je fais cela, est-ce vraiment la bonne chose pour moi, puis-je moi aussi atteindre l'éveil ? Oui, nous le pouvons, le Bouddha historique nous a laissé son message, son héritage, chacun peut s'éveiller, l'éveil est déjà en nous, il faut le faire ressortir parmi les nombreux débris de notre vie, balayer la poussière de notre âme, retrouver notre être véritable sous tous les gravats de notre histoire. Personne n'a dit que le voyage serait facile, qu'il ne ferait pas mal aux jambes. Mais le voyage en vaut la peine. C'est promis ! Il suffit de continuer à rouler ! Buddhism is like riding a bicycle To reach enlightenment you just have to keep riding! Albert Einstein, whom I admire very much, said: "Life is like riding a bicycle - to keep your balance you have to keep moving"! An almost Buddhist saying, which is why his sentence inspired me to write today's article. Whoever follows the teachings of Buddha can only have one goal: "Enlightenment"! The legacy of the great man was his awakening, his message to us is that enlightenment is in everyone and can be achieved by all. What do I mean by "Buddhism is like riding a bicycle?" Well, a Buddhist cannot follow the teachings of the historical model in 'part-time', either you are a Buddhist, or you are not. Thus, the philosophy of Buddha penetrates into all areas of our lives, such as the way we treat other people, what and how we eat, how we earn our living, how we look at things, even our political attitude, but also general views on life, as in the great religions (charity, decency, honor), are influenced. In this context, it is not so easy to "stop the bike", to pause the ride. A big problem for outsiders are the confusing "rules" of the different Buddhist communities, depending on the various Buddhist branches, the guidelines differ partly very much, quite different traditions developed in the different Asian countries. I follow the Buddhist lineage of Shaolin Temple, which was founded by Bodhidharma around 500 AD. This philosophy of introspection, derived from Mahayana Buddhism, is called "Chan Buddhism" in China, while in the West its teachings became known as "Zen Buddhism". Characteristic of Chan (Zen) is meditation (mindfulness or concentration exercises) as a spiritual practice that expands consciousness. The goal is the experience of enlightenment (as exemplified by the historical Buddha). It is important for all Buddhists to always continue the journey (with the imaginary bicycle), not to stop the aspirations, not to interrupt the journey to enlightenment. Joachim Ringelnatz wrote the following in 1933: In Hamburg lived two ants who wanted to travel to Australia. Near Altona on the Chaussee, there their legs hurt, and there they wisely then renounced the last part of the journey. The journey to "enlightenment", there can also sometimes 'hurt our legs', there can be setbacks, self-doubt, perhaps lack of understanding in the environment, why am I doing this, is this really the right thing for me, can I also achieve awakening? Yes, we can, the historical Buddha has left us his message, his legacy, everyone can awaken, enlightenment is already within us, we have to bring it out from under the many broken pieces of our lives, sweep the dust from our souls, find our true being again under all the rubble of our history. No one said the journey would be easy, that our legs wouldn't hurt along the way. But the journey is worth it. Promise! Just keep going! Manchmal ist sie wie ein reißender Fluss - unmöglich das andere Ufer zu erreichen. Nur dass die Borsteler Chaussee eine Straße ist, statt Wassermassen strömt unaufhaltsam der Auto-Verkehr. Die Borsteler Chausse zerschneidet Groß Borstel. Der Pendlerverkehr rast mitten durchs Dorf.Verweilen nicht erwünscht. Groß Borstel erstickt in Lärm und Abgasen. Das muss sich ändern. Deshalb ist die Planung für eine neue Mitte in Groß Borstel auch zentraler Bestandteil im RISE-Prozeß. Nur: was wird mit dem dafür zur Verfügung stehenden Geld tatsächlich erreicht? Kosmetische Eingriffe sind den Bürgerinnen und Bürgern nicht genug. Am 19. Mai wurde deswegen auf dem Fahrrad demonstriert! Der Bote im Ohr diesmal mit Impressionen und Stimmen von einer Demonstration, die auf die Bedürfnisse der Groß Borsteler aufmerksam gemacht hat. Um zur Erleuchtung zu kommen musst Du einfach weiter fahren! Der von mir sehr verehrte Albert Einstein sagte: „Das Leben ist wie Fahrrad fahren – um die Balance zu halten musst Du in Bewegung bleiben“! Ein fast buddhistischer Ausspruch, weshalb mich sein Satz zum heutigen Artikel inspiriert hat. Wer den Lehren Buddhas folgt kann nur ein Ziel haben: „Erleuchtung„! Die Hinterlassenschaft des großen Mannes war sein Erwachen, seine Nachricht an uns ist, dass Erleuchtung in jedem Menschen steckt und von Allen erreicht werden kann. Was meine ich mit „Buddhismus ist wie Fahrrad fahren?“ Nun, ein Buddhist kann nicht in ‚Teilzeit‘ den Lehren des historischen Vorbilds folgen, entweder ist man Buddhist, oder eben nicht. Die Philosophie Buddhas dringt somit in alle unsere Lebensbereiche ein, etwa inn die Art, wie wir mit anderen Menschen umgehen, was und wie wir essen, wie wir unseren Lebensunterhalt verdienen, wie wir Dinge betrachten, ja sogar unsere politische Einstellung, aber auch allgemeine Ansichten zum Leben, wie auch in den grossen Religionen(Nächstenliebe, Anstand, Ehre), werden beeinflusst. Dabei kann man nicht so einfach „das Fahrrad anhalten“, die Fahrtpausieren. Ein grosses Problem für Aussenstehende sind die unübersichtlichen „Regeln“ der verschiedenen buddhistischen Gemeinschaften, abhängig von den diversen buddhistischen Zweigen unterscheiden sich die Vorgaben zum Teil sehr, ganz unterschiedliche Traditionen entwickelten sich in den verschiedenen asiatischen Ländern. Ich folge der buddhistischen Linie des Shaolin Tempels, die von Bodhidharma um 500 n. Chr. begründet wurde. Diese vom Mahayana-Buddhismus abgeleitete Philosophie der Selbstbetrachtung nennt sich in China „Chan-Buddhismus“, im Westen wurden seine Lehre als „Zen-Buddhismus“ bekannt. Charakteristisch für Chan (Zen) ist die Meditation (Achtsamkeits- oder Konzentrationsübungen) als spirituelle Praxis, die das Bewußtsein erweitern. Ziel dabei ist die Erleuchtungserfahrung (so wie vom historischen Buddha vorgelebt). Wichtig für alle Buddhisten ist es, die Fahrt (mit dem imaginären Fahrrad) immer fortzuführen, die Bestrebungen nicht anzuhalten, die Reise zur Erleuchtung nicht zu unterbrechen. Joachim Ringelnatz schrieb 1933 folgendes: In Hamburg lebten zwei Ameisen, die wollten nach Australien reisen. Bei Altona auf der Chaussee, da taten ihnen die Beine weh, und da verzichteten sie weise dann auf den letzten Teil der Reise. Die Reise zur „Erleuchtung„, da können uns auch manchmal ‚die Beine weh tun‘, es kann Rückschritte geben, Selbstzweifel, vielleicht Unverständnis im Umfeld, warum mache ich das, ist das wirklich das Richtige für mich, kann auch ich das Erwachen erreichen? Ja, wir können, der historische Buddha hat uns seine Nachricht hinterlassen, sein Vermächtnis, ein Jeder kann erwachen, die Erleuchtung ist bereits in uns, wir müssen sie unter den vielen Scherben unseres Lebens hervorkehren, den Staub von unseren Seele wegfegen, unser wahres Sein unter all dem Schutt unserer Geschichte wiederfinden. Jochen Schmidt wird 1970 in Ost-Berlin geboren. Seine Eltern sind Sprachwissenschaftler, die Familie ist christlich. Nicht ganz einfach in der DDR. Seine Eltern raten ihm deshalb auch, statt mit Literatur lieber etwas mit Naturwissenschaften zu machen, da werde man eher in Ruhe gelassen. Aber dann kommt die Wende. Jochen studiert erst noch Informatik, dann Romanistik und Germanistik. Bekannt wird er zuerst als Protagonist der Berliner Lesebühnen-Szene, als festes Mitglied der legendären Bühne "Chaussee der Enthusiasten", auch sein Blog (später ein Buch) "Schmidt liest Proust" verschafft ihm Aufmerksamkeit. Das dürfte aber gern noch mehr sein. Trotz zahlreicher Romane, Erzählbände, Glossen und Sachbücher (u. a. "Gebrauchsanweisung für Ostdeutschland", "Gebrauchswanweisung für Rumänien") ist Jochen für viele immer noch ein Geheimtipp. Wer einen Einstieg sucht, dem sei Jochens Roman "Schneckenmühle" empfohlen, in dem der jugendliche Protagonist im Ferienlager die Ereignisse im Sommer 1989 komplett verpasst. Auch Jochens neuer Band mit kurzen Texten ist empfehlenswert: "Ich weiß noch, wie King Kong starb". Kirsten Fuchs ist eine der vielseitigsten deutschen Schriftstellerinnen. Angefangen hat sie als Lesebühnen-Autorin, unter anderem bei der legendären "Chaussee der Enthusiasten". Ein 36-Jähriger wurde in einem Durchgang von der Holstenstraße zum Holstenplatz von einem 19-Jährigen tödlich mit einem Messer verletzt. Der 19-Jährige ging anschließend nach Hause, wurde dort festgenommen und später wieder freigelassen. Einer weiteren Pressemitteilung der Polizei nach, soll es sich um Notwehr gehandelt haben.
