“Women need a sacred space, where they are listened to and can be guided to find their own solutions.” - Mila ShwabMindful listening is one of the best ways we can support our clients. In conventional medicine, there's so much focus on giving directives and instructions that women often feel as though their experiences of their health are pushed to the side.Through coaching, we help our clients from a different angle - empowering them in their journeys. When we create that space and utilize the tools available to us, our clients learn to listen to themselves, making it easier for them to make the sustainable changes they need to achieve optimal health in the long run.Today, I'm joined by Mila Shwab, a graduate of the Women's Health Coach Certification program who is out in the world doing amazing things. Mila's experience with breast cancer and the trauma that it brought informs her approach to coaching. Now, her practice supports women in aging beautifully and with energy, and she embodies so much of that.In this conversation, Mila and I discuss how her breast cancer diagnosis sent her on a deep dive into nutrition and women's health, her approach to coaching, the importance of providing a safe space for clients, the power of personal experience in guiding others, building a successful health coaching practice, and more.Enjoy the episode, and let's innovate and integrate together!Learn more or watch the video version of this conversation at https://integrativewomenshealthinstitute.com/how-mila-shwab-transformed-her-life-from-breast-cancer-survivor-to-womens-health-coach-helping-women-age-vibrantly/.Connect with me and access our entire platform at IntegrativeWomensHealthInstitute.com (https://integrativewomenshealthinstitute.com/). The role of health professionals has had to shift significantly over the past 20 years.Patients have more tools than ever, from functional nutrition and lifestyle medicine to cutting-edge medical interventions and alternative therapies. Yet, even for those with access, it can be extremely difficult to navigate these resources and implement them sustainably over time. That's where health coaching plays a crucial role. It's a set of communication skills that enables health and wellness professionals to guide people through the complexities of caring for themselves in an increasingly and acceleratingly complex and environmentally toxic world. I started to see this increasing need back in 2006, and that's when I created the first iteration of the Women's Health Coach certification program.Today, I'm telling you how the Integrative Women's Health Institute came into being and why I developed our flagship program, the Women's Health Coach certification. “We have to hold two things gently together: working on optimizing your health while being mindful not to limit the key priorities of your life.” - Dr. Jessica DrummondWith endometriosis - even in cases where it's very stable and well-managed - symptoms can change and even worsen when circumstances shift. This can be a result of stressful life events but also because of the hormonal shifts that come with perimenopause. In fact, for some women, endometriosis isn't diagnosed until perimenopause because that's when the symptoms start to be expressed for the first time.Knowing this, it's no surprise that for some women with endometriosis, long COVID can be a trigger for a change in endometriosis expression. Plus, when women are in a lower estrogen state, which can be the case with perimenopause, that alone puts them at higher risk for complications from COVID. For many, it's the perfect storm of elements that can lead to long COVID.Today, I'm interviewing one of our Women's Health Coach Certification graduates, Aurélie Maire. Aurélie is a biochemist and nutrition scientist and an expert in endometriosis and using yoga to nourish the system with endometriosis. If you or your clients are struggling with endometriosis, perimenopause, and/or long COVID, this is a really valuable and vulnerable case study for you.Aurélie brings a wealth of tools from her perspective and her experience, and we are doing a deep dive into her experience of having endometriosis, being hit by long COVID in perimenopause, and a lot of other stressors in her life. This type of situation is not unique to Aurélie, and it's common among people who are dealing with complex chronic illnesses. With at least 50% of the US population and a very large percentage of the global population expected to be struggling with long COVID within the next five to six years, we must take a closer look at how we support our clients. In this episode, Aurélie and I discuss her endo diagnosis, her journey with long COVID and endometriosis, the importance of nervous system regulation, how wearables and tracking have helped, adapting your lifestyle to manage energy limitations, the significance of yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness, finding joy amidst health challenges, why we need to make deliberate choices about our health practices, reconnecting with your body, and more.We went deep and detailed in this conversation, so we split the interview into two parts. Be sure to tune in to next week's episode, during which we'll continue the live case study with Aurélie.Enjoy the episode, and let's innovate and integrate together!Learn more or watch the video version of this conversation at https://integrativewomenshealthinstitute.com/how-to-balance-hormones-in-perimenopause-with-endometriosis-and-long-covid-live-client-case-study-part-1/.Connect with me and access our entire platform at IntegrativeWomensHealthInstitute.com (https://integrativewomenshealthinstitute.com/). What is a Professional Health and Wellness Coach, and Why Should I Become One or Work With One?   In this episode, your host, Jamie Belz, interviews Shanna Nemrow, FNTP, NBC-HWC, and developer and lead instructor for the PHWC course about the Nutritional Therapy Association's hottest new credential.   Shanna teaches why the health coach service industry is one of the fastest growing career fields globally and how to earn your PHWC credential through the NTA, qualifying you to become NBHWC board certified. You'll learn why the most industry versatile health coaches are NBHWC certified.   Shanna shares her story in finding healing after years of struggling with her health, to the point of saying, "goodbye," to her family in her dire condition. Fortunately, she was able to recover and became an Instagram "beacon on the hill" in her own quest to find others who shared similar struggles.   Through her journey/battle of over a decade, Shanna suffered from complications during pregnancy and postpartum sepsis which took a major toll on her organs. As someone who had once enjoyed CrossFit workouts and ran Tough Mudder races, she was reduced to needing to rest while climbing the stairs. She struggled with fatigue, joint pain, and brain fog, and her hair was falling out. Over the years, Shanna felt like something had to be wrong, but at each annual appointment, her doctor told her she was "fine." At 36 years old, Shanna saw an endocrinologist who diagnosed her with Hashimoto's Disease, an autoimmune disease impacting her thyroid. She heard words like "incurable" and phrases like "there's nothing you can do," but Shanna refused to accept that she would continue to struggle "to barely function" for the rest of her life. She persevered with the heart of a warrior and found great improvement by changing her mindset, diet, and lifestyle.   Shanna became a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and, later, a health coach. She is now an inspiration to all who seek answers and no longer wish to feel alone or hopeless in their battles against disease. _________________________________________   Please hit "subscribe" and remember to record your voice message at www.nutritionaltherapy.com/podcast.

Beginning in the 1700's in Europe and in the United States hat makers used a form of mercury called mercurous nitrate to cure felt hats. Exposure to the mercury vapors is toxic and causes neurological symptoms. Early stages of mercury poisoning presents as skin rashes, digestive issues and mouth sores. Symptoms will then progress to loss of coordination, trembling, slurred speech, loss of speech, focus issues, learning issues, memory loss, depression, irritability and anxiety. Lewis Carroll based The Mad Hatter character in Alice in Wonderland on the visible behaviors of the Hat Makers of his time. The United States officially banned the use of Mercury Nitrate in 1941. Sadly, the side effects of mercury persists today. Many have been exposed through Amalgam dental fillings, medications and injections, and toxic air and water. One of the most powerful ways to help the body detox Mercury is to increase glutathione levels. Glutathione is the master antioxidant of the body. Glutathione binds to heavy metals and other toxins to assist in ushering them out of the body. Your body does produce Glutathione, but if you are exposed to mercury and other heavy metals, you will need to increase Glutathione. Many will try taking a Glutathione supplement. Unfortunately most of the Glutathione gets broken down by enzymes in the stomach before it can be effective. Glutathione IV's are very beneficial. The problem is they are very expensive. ($200-$500 per IV) and depending on your health issues, you may need to get one every week. The cost makes this financially impossible for most people. Supplementing with Redox Molecules increases Glutathione efficacy by a whopping 800%. This is the most powerful and cost effective way to improve and activate Glutathione in the body. The Redox Molecule protocol is simple, safe, and non toxic for all ages. Drink 2-4 ozs of Redox Molecules 2x a day minimum. Yes 2x a day you will improve the Glutathione efficacy by 800%. This is a health game changer. We are all exposed to toxic levels of Mercury and other heavy metals. If you are not gently detoxing every day, you are accumulating toxins and this can lead to dis ease. If you would like to know more about Redox Molecules. You can attend my FREE 30 minute webinar. Welcome back to the podcast! In today's episode, Chantel got to speak with Laurie Lewis. Certified coach, Laurie Lewis, has changed the lives of thousands through her coaching of Intermittent Fasting. Utilizing time-tested (and science-tested) principles, Laurie takes on individual clients as well as leading her group programs Live on Zoom. She helps determined, exasperated, busy people (who are tired of dieting!) from the United States to New Zealand to Ghana to Israel to Scotland.    Combining a 22-year personal study of nutrition (Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition) with her research and practice of Intermittent Fasting, Laurie supports clients and participants with a dream come true. Yes, it is possible to eat the foods you love and live your life feeling strong, vibrant, and lean!    Stubborn hormonal fat hit hard in 2012, causing her to suddenly gain 50 pounds. For years, she tried everything and none of the old tricks worked. She hit rock-bottom and almost resigned to the “fact” that she would keep getting heavier and feeling worse and worse forever. When faced with the enormity of grief and loss, not only do most people not know how to navigate it, they do so with little support.  But in the sharing of our stories and the wisdom gained we find community and help.   This roundtable of women have all experienced deep loss.  Arlia Hoffman hosts these four professionals from finance, health and wellness, coaching and consulting to reflect on their own grief, the impact on their lives, the presence or lack of support, and how they now support others going through similar experiences. Our prayer is that it helps you feel less alone and find support for your healing. Resource Notes:  Rachel mentioned the non-profit Love Not Lost as a resource. Arlia also mentioned the book, It's OK That You're Not OK: Meeting Grief and Loss in a Culture That Doesn't Understand, by Megan Devine. Episode 216 of my Curate Your Health Podcast is out! Link below.   Laurie Lewis is here today to discuss intermittent fasting. She is a certified coach who shares her personal story and clarifies many misunderstandings about intermittent fasting. She explains the first mistake is that people think it is a diet. It is a timing, an eating window, that is not for weight loss. By tuning into your personal goals and what feels good to you, you will discover what are your ideal fasting hours. She discusses how it is easier to make good food choices when in a fasted state. The best way to start is to decide when to close your eating window. By shrinking your eating window, you will start to look at the foods that make you feel good. Your body will start to use its own body fat for energy and will keep your Insulin low. Your body will learn to eat “window worthy” nutritious food and how much to eat and when to stop eating. Menopause and stubborn hormonal fat hit Laurie hard in 2012, causing her to suddenly gain 50 pounds. For years, she tried everything and none of the old tricks worked. She hit rock-bottom and almost resigned to the “fact” that she would keep getting heavier and feeling worse and worse forever. At a particularly despondent time in 2017, a video unexpectedly popped up which would turn the course of her life. She stayed up all night learning about Intermittent Fasting, and started that very next morning.   Within days of eating in this newfound pattern of time, the fog lifted and she felt awake and “like herself.” With health, strength, and slender weight restored – 50+ pounds lost. Now, at 59-years old, Laurie has turned her personal success into the premier thriving Intermittent Fasting coaching business. As a certified health coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition) she combines her knowledge of nutrition with deep research and practice of Time Restricted Eating. Laurie guides her clients with a dream come true -- eat the foods you love and enjoy the rest of your life feeling vibrantly well.   Dr. Hammerstedt and her lifestyle coaching team can be found at www.wholisthealth.com and @wholisthealth on Facebook and Instagram as well as the Facebook group Curate Your Health. Our guest on this episode is Dr. Libby Wilson. This is another exciting conversation with a doctor who turned away from a conventional medical practice to pursue a functional, patient-centred, medical practice.  Early in her career, Dr. Libby realized that conventional medicine effectively served patients in many ways, but fell short in others. She loves establishing long-term relationships with her patients and enjoys collaborating with them to achieve the best possible outcomes. Her passion lies in helping people achieve optimal health as naturally as possible. She believes strongly in identifying the root cause of illness. There is so much to take away from this episode including how to take a bold leap but do it in a way that is pragmatic and sensible, how to use health coaching in a medical practice (or how to be a health coach in a medical practice), and also how to make the right investments of time, money and energy to grow your business. We also dig deep into why people are looking to people like Dr. Libby who partner with health coaches for medical help and guidance.

In this special episode of Health Coach Radio (with a live-online audience), our guest is Dr. Judith Boyce. Judith became a health coach after she spent a career as a doctor - after she spent a career as a nurse. This is because she saw health coaching as the way forward for doctors, nurses and the medical system in general.  Dr. Judith has developed the Health Coaching in Medical Practice certification course which educates and trains coaches to go forth and conquer in the medical system. If that is the path you see yourself taking, listen closely to this episode and learn. In our conversation with Dr. Boyce, we dig into topics such as how Judith got fed up with how medicine was being practiced, how the PHCI program applies to other countries (other than the USA), and why Dr. Boyce is the perfect person to learn from.  We also dig into what type of person would be a good fit for this line of learning and coaching, what types of certifications employers are looking for, what versions of health coaches exist right now, and why doctors need health coaches' help. Plus Dr. Judith gives concrete advice about how to get your foot in the door and work with, not against, the system to benefit both the client and the doctor.

I spoke with Paul Savoie on April 21, 2022. We covered a lot of topics from being true to ourselves to connection with nature and our souls as well as finding our passion and gifts along the way of this thing called life.  BioPaul Savoie has been working as a Human Resources professional for over 12 years.  He has a Bachelor of Integrated Studies majoring in Business Administration/ Human Resources and a minor in Adult Education from the University of New Brunswick.  He also holds a Health Coach Certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.Growing up he would have given anything to just be "normal".  That constant internal battle of not being good enough led to alot of emotional eating - this continued up to his early twenties.Things changed for him when a friend introduced him to Kickboxing.  He fell in love with Kickboxing and experienced weight loss.  He then embarked on fitness competitions which each show became the reason to "stay on track".  Changing the physical body was easy but was not sustainable.Paul started to question more and more his purpose and that's when he came across the Health Coach Certification at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.  The program focused on how we are surrounded by energies.  This was the beginning of self reflection and acknowledging the many "layers of protection" he created since he was a child.  With a lot of self growth many blockages have been and continue to be replaced with Love. Most recently he has co-founded "TwoFeathers Healing" where he and his partner give intuition based energy healings.Today Paul supports his clients from a Mind Body Spirit approach.Support the show

For years, we've been told that smoking is bad for our health. We know it increases our risk of lung cancer, heart disease, and other serious illnesses. But what about sitting? According to experts, sitting is the new smoking. And like smoking, it can have a negative impact on our health. Studies have linked extended periods of sitting with an increased risk of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.Sitting for long periods of time can also lead to back and neck pain. In fact, some researchers believe that the negative health effects of sitting are so significant that they may even outweigh the dangers of smoking. So what can we do to reduce the risks associated with sitting? For starters, WE CAN STAND UP!For many seniors, the latter third of life can be a time of great uncertainty. With retirement often marking the end of a career, and declining health making it difficult to remain active, it can be easy to feel like life has lost its purpose. Many people retire from their careers and find themselves with more free time than they know what to do with. Others may no longer have the same hobbies or interests that they once did. But research has shown that having a sense of purpose can greatly improve your health and well-being, no matter your age. There are many ways for seniors to achieve a longer health span AND FINDING PURPOSE is often central to this goal.--------------------Bio:Chuck Gaidica, is a familiar face in Detroit, where he has worked as a TV anchor and host for over 30 years. In this episode I help Mayim overcome the following mindset issues affecting her business: Mayim's main challenge was perfectionism especially as it came to her content Her concern about ensuring everything was polished and perfect left her actually stangating and holding back on posting her content from the hesitation of self consciousness During the coaching Mayim was able to realize that it was in effect her thoughts about being good enough that were holding her back from showing up in her wholeness About Mayim Vega Mayim Vega empower people to become the healers of their home and their community, and build profitable health coaching businesses. Arukah.com's Health Coach Certification program is the only one of its kind, because it combines naturopathic herbalism, holistic and life coaching, and online business & marketing into one program. All 3 of these fields are important for becoming a successful holistic healer. Connect With Mayim Vega https://youtube.com/arukah https://www.facebook.com/arukah https://arukah.com

Stay tuned! Here are the things to expect in this episode: What does intermittent fasting mean? What are its benefits? Being able to lose 51 pounds in 15 months after menopause. Setting a schedule for your eating window and planning what delicious food you will be eating. You won't have jet lag if you don't eat on the airplane! How do you get started on intermittent fasting? Combining a 20-year personal study of nutrition (Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition) with her research and practice of Intermittent Fasting, Laurie supports clients and participants with a dream come true. At a particularly despondent time in 2017, a video unexpectedly popped up which would turn the course of her life. She stayed up all night learning about Intermittent Fasting, and started that very next morning. Within days of eating in this newfound pattern of time, the fog lifted and she felt awake and “like herself.” With health, strength, and slender weight restored – 50+ pounds lost --at 58-years old she is vibrantly alive in her Intermittent Fasting lifestyle. Laurie combines her keen listening and caring style with a no-nonsense coaching approach. She wants you to succeed! Connect with Laurie! This ultimately led to them cutting out all animal products and embracing the Vegan lifestyle.   The shift to veganism led her to the path of creating the first Small Seed Bar (and boy am I glad she did), which came from her seeking a convenient yet delicious "on the go" meal.   Soon after creating the company she became pregnant with her daughter Opal, and continued to live her life normally. Lifting heavy weights in the gym and taking no days off despite the common thought that women need to take it easy while pregnant. Holly continued to train all the way up until the day before she gave birth.   We discuss this and her entire health and fitness journey in length, and also what fitness can mean for women seeking to better themselves!   Holly's Instagram Small Seed Bar IG   Connect with me elsewhere!!!!   Podcast Instagram Page   Instagram: @Tyler_Egan Twitter: @tyler_egan2 LinkedIn Page: Click this Facebook Page: @VeganEgan YouTube: Tyler Egan   YouTube “Free” music Liscenses to Use   Buddha – Kontekt   Buddha by Kontekst https://soundcloud.com/kontekstmusic Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported— CC BY 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/b6jK2t3lcRs

Charlette James, Holistic Health Coach  Charlette James is a single mother of one adult daughter and has lived in the metro Atlanta, GA area for the last 10 yrs. She was always health conscious, exercised for an hour every day, 5-days a week, had pretty healthy diet, did not take medication every day, and was the healthiest one in her immediate family. On Oct. 5, 2012 she was diagnosed with stage 2 infiltrating ductal carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer, 11 days before her 49th birthday. The doctor advised her that there was a 3.0 cm tumor and a 1 cm nodule in her right breast. After having 2 major surgeries, 4 rounds of chemo, 10 lymph nodes taken from her right arm, and a body that took 2 weeks to recover...she felt sicker after diagnoses than ever before! Her 1st round of chemo and ending up in the hospital with a dangerously low white blood  count, she began doing her own research into natural cancer remedies.    After several years of research and much trial and error in trying different  holistic alternatives to improve her own health, she became known to everyone she knew and met as a knowledgeable source for holistic health. After being nudged by her daughter, she started her health coaching business, J~Rapha’s Well Holistic Health Coaching in Sept. 2017. She went on to obtain her Health Coach Certification from (IIN) Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2018, and now focuses  her business on helping cancer conquerors to thrive in their body, mindset and environment after diagnoses. I loved my fast-paced life in the critical care world, working with patients in the intensive care unit and really connecting with them and their families. I found I was good at helping those who were in crisis. However, I also found that people were slipping between the cracks with all of the various medical "specialties" and "specialists."During this time, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), an “incurable autoimmune disease.” I felt trapped and betrayed by my own body. I then felt trapped by my medical system when I was presented with the standard immune-modulating and anti-inflammatory drugs as my only options. I was told that diet and stress levels had nothing to do with my disease.I examined my body, mind, heart, and spirit for clues to my disease. In the process of my research and inquiry into the “WHY” of my disease, I discovered Ayurveda. My story begins in October 2007, I had a tragic event occur in my life.  My parents disowned me because of my interracial relationship with my now husband Keith Hughes. My parents had never met him or even knew his name. The fact that I was so disposable to the two people I love the most, destroyed me. Not knowing how to deal with this heartbreak, I began to consume myself with work to ignore the thoughts and began to feed my emotions with food. In December of 2011, I looked in the mirror and did not recognize the woman starting back at me. I weighed in at over 300 pounds! I was severely depressed, frustrated, stressed, unhealthy, filled with sadness, pain, felt completely defeated, hopeless and had a very bad relationship with food. I knew something needed to change, and I needed to be that change! In January of 2012, I embarked on a journey to lose 100 pounds in one year and regain my life back. My journey wasn’t always easy as I was faced with many challenges and obstacles in my path. My biggest challenge was my career!  I was a corporate professional working as a Senior Software Consultant and my career was extremely demanding, stressful and required me to travel out of state on a weekly basis. I traveled 4-5 days per week throughout the United States and sometimes internationally. I was living out of a suitcase, in and out of hotels and airports, working 12-15 hour days which left me with limited time to focus on myself, my health, my fitness, family and friends. I am so GRATEFUL that I was introduced to Beachbody!  Their programs were perfect, easy to incorporate into my busy schedule, simple to follow and I could do them anywhere! They gave me the structure and knowledge I needed to transform my health and body. I literally transformed my body in a hotel room and learned how to build a healthy lifestyle while traveling! Today, I am proud to say that I have lost over 140 pounds using Beachbody products and have transformed my whole life. Most importantly, I love the woman that I have become in this journey! In 2015, I was chosen and recognized on stage as one of the top 8 finalists of the Beachbody Grand Prize Challenge for best transformation of the year. Needless to say, I am firm believer in Beachbody products and naturally I wanted learn more about the company and become more involved so I joined the Company as an Independent Beachbody Coach so that I could continue to learn and grow in my own journey but more so help other people reach their health and fitness goals.  It has been the most rewarding and purpose filled career choice I have ever made.  Since then, I have decided to continue my education and I am currently pursuing my Health Coach Certification with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and have co-founded Fithughes.com In this episode, Giovanna Capozza interviews Diane Hughes, a holistic health and fitness coach with Beachbody and co-founder of Fithughes.com. She lost 140 pounds in her own journey and was selected as one of the top 8 finalists of the Beachbody Grand Prize Challenge for Best Transformation of the Year, in 2015. Today, Diane and her husband have dedicated themselves to working with individuals struggling with weight loss. This powerhouse couple helps them reach their goals and create an improved lifestyle filled with happiness, health, fitness and balance. Tune in as Diane shares her weight loss story, how forgiveness played a part in her journey, and the importance of making YOURSELF a priority. Giovanna introduces Diane Hughes Giovanna met Diane and her husband, in Mexico, at a party In 2007, Diane experienced a tragic event in her life: Her parents disowned her She never had something so traumatic happen to her like that She dove into her work and fed her emotions with food It was not until Dec. 2011 that she looked into the mirror Looking at her reflection in the mirror was the biggest “Ah-ha moment” for Diane because she didn’t recognize herself She was too consumed with life and work that she ignored herself Food was a way to numb out Diane remembers being frustrated and severely depressed Diane believed she needed to start with herself She was the only one that could change the direction of her life Her turning point was on New Year’s Eve She made a grand announcement at her party about her wanting to lose the weight She was surprised that people at the party didn’t believe she could do it For Diane, that moment sparked a flame to prove that change IS possible Diane basically lived in a hotel room because of her job She didn’t have time for the gym nor did she have a kitchen to cook in At 300 lbs, she couldn’t do much She joined a cleanse group on Facebook Diane sent a message to a coach she’d been seeing online The coach replied to her and she led Diane to Beachbody, the leading provider for in-home, health and fitness solutions “We find all of the reasons why we can’t do something” Prior to gaining weight, Diane loved physical fitness The programs Diane purchased were the super difficult ones, forgetting she was 300 lbs She did the program and she couldn’t even do 15 minutes of it Her coach changed her program to one she could do The programs came with a nutrition guide that Diane used for clean eating 100 lbs to lose was too overwhelming The journey was difficult – there were mental challenges and limiting beliefs People give up on resolutions because they think of the long journey ahead VS what they’ve already done It was not just a new year’s resolution, it was Diane’s promise to herself Women tend to forget to make themselves a priority Giovanna started her weightloss journey one day at a time Diane and her husband struggled with their marriage She was retracting herself from everybody Diane is thankful to her husband for being there for her during the tough times She realized he was the rock in her journey She wanted to be the wife her husband deserved As she lost weight, Diane gained confidence Diane reached her goal of losing 100 lbs, but she was still unhappy The 2nd phase of her journey, was a journey of forgiveness She has not only forgiven her parents, but herself, too The moment she learned to forgive, Diane lost another 35 lbs Forgiveness was the harder part, not the weight loss Her parents completely cut ties with Diane after disowning her Connect with Diane on FitHughes.com, Facebook, and Instagram Diane’s husband is a professional chef Diane joined Beachbody as a fitness coach Through her journey, she inspired her husband to join Beachbody, too Giovanna closes the podcast 3 Key Points: People can be consumed by everything that happens in life; they can tend to forget who they really are. Always make conscious decisions and try to make YOURSELF a priority. It’s normal to feel pain and struggle; but at some point, you’ll need to release yourself from the burdens you keep inside.
