Prior to recording this episode, I had never put any real thought into Cyprus' role in Alexander the Great's campaigns. Afterall, Cyprus is rarely (if ever) mentioned when discussing Alexander's conquests. And yet I was floored to learn not only of its significant naval contributions but just how often Alexander himself recognized the superiority of Cypriot seafaring and engineering know-how to support his expeditions. Let's consider this excerpt in the lead up to the Siege of Tyre: "...[W]ith Cyprus too brought on side, we would be assured of supremacy at sea, and that of itself clears the way for our expedition to Egypt. When we have subdued Egypt, we shall have no further worries for Greece or our own country, and we can then make our move on Babylon with security ensured at home, our reputation enhanced, and the Persians cut off from the entire sea and all the land this side of the Euphrates." - Alexander quoted in Arrian's The Anabasis (17:4). The Siege of Tyre was a pivotal stepping stone opening up the East to Alexander's armies. It's with the coordinated naval efforts of Pnytagoras of Salamis, Androcles of Amathus, and Pasicrates of Curium (among others) that Alexander was able to take the Sidonian harbour of Tyre. And yet their contributions didn't end there. "Alexander had recruited teams of engineers from Cyprus" (17:5 Arrian) in order to assist in the construction of siege-engines and the building of a causeway that connected the mainland to the island of Tyre in perhaps one of the most impressive feats of engineering in all of Alexander's campaigns. To my surprise, Cypriots were more than a mere footnote in the Siege of Tyre. They played vital roles throughout Alexander's campaigns into the East as oarsmen, engineers, explorers, soldiers, trierarchs, and some were even elevated to esteemed positions as Companions and even Satraps (see Stasanor of Soli who was appointed as Satrap of Bactria in modern-day Afghanistan). They accompanied Alexander as they explored the Hydapses River (modern-day Jhelum River in Pakistan and India) while others were specifically sent to explore hitherto unknown regions. "The most extensive of the exploratory voyages was that undertaken by the helmsman Hieron from Soli. He too was given a triaconter by Alexander, with instructions to coast round the entire Arabian peninsula..." (Arrian 17:4) They were an integral component to Alexander's war machine and instrumental in his many of his successes. In this month's episode, I'm excited to welcome researcher and historian, Andreas Parpas to discuss Cyprus' role in Alexander the Great's campaigns and its pivotal contributions to laying a foothold eastwards towards Babylon and beyond.

Episode 183 it is, and we're going to take stock as we enter 1851. In war, truth is the first casualty. It's a military maxim attributed to Aeschylus (“ES-kuh-lus"), the father of Greek tragedy. Aeschylus actually fought in the front lines against the Persians at Marathon in 490 BC. We don't know much about the rest of his life, but we do know that his work called Persians which was financed by Pericles was such a success that he was invited to Sicily by Hieron of Syracuse to restage the play. His life bridged the Archaic and Classical ages. Considered even by the ancients to be difficult and old-fashioned, Aeschylus was also quite innovative in the structures, personnel, and even subjects of his 89 plays, of which we have only seven. Later, in In 1758 the famous lexicographer Samuel Johnson penned a short item in “The Idler which included the following this statement .. ‘ “Among the calamities of War may be justly numbered the diminution of the love of truth, by the falsehoods which interest dictates and credulity encourages.” Credulity. A willingness to believe whatever is dished up. The lovers of social media are infected by a disease called credulity. In this series I have endeavoured to avoid relying on credulity by constantly referring to original sources, documents, oral history, cross-referencing where I can. There is nothing more important than deploying verification. Credulity is the tendency to be too ready to believe that something is real or true, often without sufficient evidence or critical examination. It refers to a person's inclination to accept claims or assertions with little skepticism or questioning. Southern African history is full of credulity being punctured by reality. Most politicians make a living out of abusing credulity. With that melodromatic introduction, let us dive into the deep pool of tangibility regarding Mlanjeni's War, the 8th Frontier War which broke out on Christmas day 1850. The military villages along the Thyumie River were gone, burned down, dozens of British soldiers were dead, killed in Boma Pass or killed in their military villages named Auckland, Juanasburg and Woburn. In the mountains above Thyumie River, missionary Niven and his family had walked out of Keiskamma hoek and straight into a party of amaXhosa warriors. It is true that respected Rharhabe chief Ngqika had declared the missionaries and their homes protected, but that was twenty years ago and the respected chief was long gone. Into our story steps one of the most remarkable characters we've heard about thus far, a man called Hermanus Matroos. Brown was to remark later later that Matroos “… spoke English more precisely than I have ever heard any other native do…” Hermanus Matroos, otherwise known as Ngxukumeshe enters our tale, a large and imposing man, broad shouldered, powerful. Hermanus means army man, warrior, brave warrior and comes from the German, Herman. Matroos means sailor. And Ngxukumeshe means in the vanguard - at the front. These names fit the man, a warrior born of a slave sailor, a man who was always at the front of everything.

Stāsta Rundāles pils direktore Laura Lūse 29. jūnijā apmeklētājiem tika atvērta Karalisko kolekciju galerija Madridē, kurā skatāmi pēdējo piecu gadsimtu laikā Spānijas karaļnama uzkrātie mākslas darbi. Spānijā karaliskās mākslas kolekcijas un arhitektūra kopš otrās republikas laika (1931) ir valsts īpašums, un par tā saglabāšanu rūpējas Patrimonio National, ko latviski varētu dēvēt par Nacionālā mantojuma biroju. Mākslas kolekcijas veido gandrīz 170 000 mākslas darbu, kurus Spānijas karaļi pasūtīja izcilākajiem sava laika Eiropas māksliniekiem, lai caur mākslu un kolekciju spožumu demonstrētu varu, sociālo statusu un dinastijas bagātības. Lielākā veiksme ir tā, ka šīs mākslas vērtības ir saglabājušās Spānijā, bet tikai maza daļa bija pieejama publiskai apskatei. Ideja par Karaliskās mākslas galerijas nepieciešamību Spānijā pastāvēja jau kopš 1930. gadiem, bet tās īstenošanai traucēja gan pilsoņu karš, gan tā radītās ekonomiskās sekas. Tāpēc līdz brīdim, kad 1997. gadā plašāk nezināmajā Spānijas dienvidu pilsētiņā Bilbao tika atvērta Gugenheima muzeja filiāle, kas radīja to, ko mēs šobrīd dēvējam par Bilbao efektu, priekšlikums par Nacionālā mantojuma vērtību izrādīšanu valdībā pat netika nopietni apspriests. Redzot to, kā kvalitatīva modernā arhitektūra kopā ar vērtīgu kultūras saturu spēj rosināt sabiedrības interesi un pat masu tūrisma pieplūdumu, 1998. gadā tika pieņemts lēmums par Karalisko kolekciju galerijas būvi. Tai bija jābūt jaunai, mūsdienīgai ēkai pašā Madrides sirdī līdzās karaļa pilij. Vienlaikus tai vajadzēja iekļauties vēsturiskajā apbūvē un nodrošināt ilgtspējības arhitektūras prasības ēkas uzturēšanā. Spānijas karaļa pils ir uzbūvēta pakalnā un atrodas vissenāk apdzīvotajā vietā, tāpēc likumsakarīgi, ka būvniecības gaitā tika atklātas mauru pilsētas apbūves struktūras, kas datējamas ar 9. gadsimtu. Galerijas arhitekti Emilio Tunjons (Emilio Tuñón) un Luiss Moreno Mansija (Luis Moreno Mansilla) atsegto vēsturiskā pilsētas mūra daļu un ēku aprises, veiksmīgi integrējuši jaunās galerijas struktūrā, tā, lai tās varētu redzēt apmeklētāji. Astoņus stāvus augstā ēka piekļaujas pakalnam un pateicoties akmens bloku dalījumam un fasādē uzsvērtajai vertikalitātei, tā gandrīz nolasās kā klints struktūra un vienlaikus arī piedāvā līdz šim nebijušu skatu perspektīvu uz "Casa de Campo" parku. Ēkas būvniecībā ir izmantots tas pats granīts no kā arhitekts Frančesko Sabatini (Francesco Sabatini, 1721–1797) 18. gadsimtā būvēja blakus esošo karaļa pili. Granīts, kombinācijā ar betonu un ozolkoka būvdetaļām ir pamatmateriāli, kas izmantoti galerijas būvniecībā. Tā ir moderna ēka ar plašām, labi izgaismotām telpām, pārdomātiem vides pieejamības risinājumiem un pats galvenais – ļoti vērtīgām mākslas kolekcijām. Galerijas būvniecība ilga 25 gadus un izmaksāja 172 miljonus eiro. Trastamāra, Habsburgu un Burbonu karaļu dinastiju uzkrātās mākslas bagātības ietver skulptūras, mēbeles, gleznas, gobelēnus un dažādus dekoratīvās mākslas objektus, kas nākuši no 19 pilīm un klostera kompleksiem. 650 mākslas darbi ir izvietoti divos galerijas stāvos, ievērojot hronoloģijas principu. Tur skatāmas ievērojamāko spāņu mākslinieku Djego Velaskesa un Francisko Goijas gleznas. Tāpat arī manierisma perioda mākslinieka El Greko darbs, kas gleznots pēc karaļa Filipa II (1556–1598) pasūtījuma un tika izbrāķēts. Kolekcijā ir arī itāļu baroka gleznotāja Karavadžo darbs "Salome ar Jāņa Kristītāja galvu" un Servantesa grāmatas "Dons Kihots" pirmizdevums. Jau pieminētais Spānijas karalis Filipa II bija īpaši iecienījis itāļu un flāmu māsklu, un ir pazīstams kā galvenais flāmu gleznotāja Hieronīma Bosa darbu kolekcionārs. Bosa gleznas var redzēt gan Eskorijala, gan Prado muzejos, bet Karaliskajā galerijā ir iespēja redzēt arī pēc Bosa gleznām "Siena drudzis" un "Pasaulīgo prieku dārzs" austus lielformāta gobelēnus. Zinot to, cik sarežģīta, laikietilpīga un dārga bija gobelēnu aušana 16. gadsimtā, karaļa pasūtījums Briseles-Brabanta manufaktūrā apliecina viņa patieso aizrautību ar Bosa apokaliptisko stilu. Daži mākslas darbi publiskai apskatei ir izlikti pirmo reizi. Starp tādiem jāizceļ pirmās Spānijas galma tēlnieces Luisas Roldanas (Luisa Roldan) koka skulptūra "Ercenģeļa Mihaela cīņa ar velnu" (1692). 17. gadsimtā sieviešu parakstīti darbi bija retums. Pat tad, ja sieviete radīja mākslas darbus, darbnīca un meistara tituls piederēju vīrietim – visbiežāk tēvam vai vīram, un sieviešu darbs palika anonīms. Kopš galerijas atvēršanas dienā to apmeklē vidēji 3000 cilvēku. Un, ja vēl tikai plānojat jaunā gada ceļojumus, tad droši varat iekļaut Karalisko kolekciju galeriju Madridē savu vēlmju sarakstā. Tas ir vēl viens veiksmīgs piemērs mākslas un kultūras spējai piesaistīt cilvēkus. Atskatoties spāņu pieredzē un vēlmē parādīt publiski neredzamo mantojuma daļu plašākai sabiedrībai, saskatu līdzības ar Laikmetīgās mākslas muzeju Latvijā. Arī tas pārstāv šobrīd sabiedrībai neredzamu, bet mūsu kultūrai nozīmīgu mākslas daļu. Ceru, ka mums no idejas līdz muzeja būvniecības sākumam nevajadzēs gaidīt gandrīz 80 gadus.
Faction Cannot Prevail (11) (audio) David Eells – 9/3/23 Don't Let Them Bite You Missy Pollock 7/3/23 (David's notes in red) There was a brother in the woods and there was a copperhead snake at his feet. (Copperheads are known for their reddish colored head.) He was demonstrating and telling how to get a hold of the snake by snatching it behind its head, so it doesn't bite you. As he demonstrated this, he did grab it just behind its head and it didn't bite him. (There are a lot of copperheads here. In the natural, If you must pick one up hold its head down with something and then grab it or you might be sorry.) Then the scene changed to me, and I knew there was a copperhead snake behind me, and I didn't know if it bit me or not. I asked my brother a couple of times to look and see if it had bitten me on my lower back, but he didn't look. I reached behind me without looking behind me and got a hold of it just behind the head like the brother demonstrated. (We act in faith.) It really was trying to bite me, but it couldn't because I kept a good hold on it. End of dream. (The copperhead snake represents the factious who are full of poison and desire to infect others with their evil words of slander and speaking against the righteous, always “behind their backs.” We cannot let them bite us by receiving their attempts to backbite us or our brethren through words or thoughts.) That was the scripture He said to read and these people that Ezekiel was seeing there, they were actually angels that he saw being dispatched. And these angels were to mark those who were crying out against the wickedness and those that were not. And then the angels killed those that were a part of the wickedness. The Lord said this, “The marks have gone out already. Those marked for death because of their wickedness, My mighty angels have been dispatched. They are waiting on My word to raise up their battle axe against the wicked.” So, this is a future event that the Lord, that Father God is going to do. He's going to send His mighty angels to kill the wicked that have been marked, that have refused to repent of their wickedness, and they have had plenty of time to repent. Then the Lord said this, “It is I, the Lord of Host, Who have the power of life and death in my hands. No one will have done this except Me, says the Lord of Host. So, when there is sudden death all over the world, it is Me, says the Lord. My mighty angels are also bringing down demonic principalities and powers who have ruled a long time. They will be stripped of their power and influence over these regions and countries and nations. (Like satan and his fallen angels are cast down in Revelation 12.) That is why there is so much stirring and swirling in the spiritual realm. These are unusual days and unusual times.” And then the Lord said, “I want to give you some examples of what's going to occur as markers for these events to happen.” He said, “In one day, there will be unusual shooting stars across many skies, all at one time. It will look like fireworks streaking through the skies.” And then the Lord said, “If you will believe, these are the principalities and powers being dethroned by my angelic army. In this dream, I walked into a room, and it was early, early morning. I saw President Trump in a sitting position on a reclining chair... I walked over to him and I addressed him as Mr. President out of respect. And I began to talk to him, and I said this. “Mr. President, I need to tell you a few things.” I said, “You have been given information from reliable sources, and now is the time to release this information.” (This is probably info declassing the DS Satanists) I also told him that the Lord is sending death angels that will kill many wicked people all over the world. Then, in the dream, Donald Trump was now in a laid-back position, like in a reclining position in the chair. And I noticed how weary he looked. His face looked really weary. And I asked him in the dream, I said, “Can I pray for you?” And he said, “Yes, please pray for strength for me.” So, I laid my hand on his shoulder, and I began to pray in tongues. And it was this very powerful prayer in tongues as I remember in the dream. And after the prayer, I noticed that President Trump's countenance had changed. He looked strengthened now and full of vigor. And then after the prayer also, I said to him, “President Trump, the Lord has told me that you will be the president and win the presidential elections in 2024.” And then right after I said that President Trump received a phone call while he was sitting there. And as I was standing there with him talking on the phone, I heard him say these words. And he said it with such authority. He said, “You are speaking to the President of the United States of America.” And I knew that when he spoke these words that he was referring to now, that he was [is] the acting President of the United States of America. Then today I was reading where I am, going along in Luke and I read the parable of the widow who cried to be avenged of her adversary and the verses the Lord has been saying to us. I saw Eve standing and waiting to talk to me, and she was standing across the street. I knew in the dream that Eve did not want to interrupt us from talking. She looked humbled, and was wearing a long skirt. I also knew Eve wanted to apologize to me for what she had done, when this lady was done talking to me. I had a good feeling about Eve in the dream. I asked the Lord what He wanted to say about these dreams and received by faith at random, Acts 27:22 In context, Act 27:22-25 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer; for there shall be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. 23 For there stood by me this night an angel of the God whose I am, whom also I serve, 24 saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must stand before Caesar: and lo, God hath granted thee all them that sail with thee. 25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even so as it hath been spoken unto me. I saw a revelation on there from Sandy Shaw and there were certain sentences highlighted in a bold burgundy color. (Like blood resembling the blood of Christ.) I was distracted and didn't really have time to read it all but I noticed that it was a warning saying that things are going to change drastically fast and to be ready because it will all happen before this year is over. (This was a personal warning to me to repent and get rid of all of my distractions and get into the Word to prepare for all the things that are coming.) (It is also a corporate warning for the church. The enemy is doing everything to try to distract us and weaken us spiritually so that we won't have a passover when the judgments begin to fall.) Then my phone went black and the power went out in my house. I went to my husband and told him that the ten days of darkness must've started already. (We are hearing that the ten days of darkness planned by the “white hats” are upon us. IF SO: there will likely be different interruptions of services and you should act accordingly and quickly. We are told that trucking and airlines are to cease. Airlines are already going down; many pilots who took the clot shot are sick and the rest are dangerous. The trucking interruption means food will quickly begin to disappear from the store shelves. During this time, they are starting up the new StarLink satellites and taking out DS satellites along with the Main Stream Media. They are planning to bring up a new internet that is much safer and much faster. Trump has announced his new social media platform on Truth Social. This may be intended to replace the influence of the Big Tech giants. They are going to bring down nuclear power plants and bring online free energy. Since all of these things are connected, they will try to do all of this together. How long this will actually string out we don't know. Trump is “officially” coming back and the Nesara Gesara and blockchain voting on our phones and computers for the rulers of the new republic. The dominoes are falling, the states where the votes are contested are falling to Trump. It came down to 46 of 50 states clearly showing a huge win for Trump last I knew. The military will remove the fake Biden. Trump will quickly bring the economy back with the money the DS stole from the people over many years that was collected by executive order. Be in prayer and listen to the Lord. Pray down the DEW weapons.) My husband, David, (Representing the Lord, our heavenly Husband) went to our living room, and lit a fire in the fireplace. (The fireplace represents the fiery wilderness trials that burn up the wood, hay and stubble of our fleshly sinful lives.) I was surprised and asked him where he got the firewood. He told me he picked it up at Michael's and David's house. (This wood represents the true Word of God and all that we'd been learning since becoming a part of the UBM ministry.) I asked how much firewood we had and then realized that all we had was already burning in the fireplace. I asked my husband, “Shouldn't we have saved that for the night when it's a lot colder? Would it be possible for us to go to their house and get some more?” (I thought maybe this means my husband, David, and I have had our spirit fired up but we need more of the Word of God to sustain us for the dark days ahead.) (John 9:4 We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.) Then the scene changed and we were with local UBM and I was in a house with a bunch of women. (Representing Esther when she was in the house of the women before she was chosen to be the Queen or Bride by the King of kings.) It seemed like a baby shower party. (As we will see, the Bride is getting ready to birth the Man-child.) Everyone brought food and one lady brought two beautiful dishes of food that looked exactly the same. She put one dish in the living room and another dish right outside the living room. Another lady, who was factious, saw this and she started saying a lot of mean things to everyone about the woman who brought the two identical dishes of food and was trying to bring her down. She was trying to make her feel bad for bringing such a fancy dish and saying that she was just trying to show off and that she also had no creativity because she brought two of the same thing. (The two identical dishes of food represent an unchangeable gospel. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and His Word or food is to do the will of His Father and it does not change either. If we speak as oracles of God then we bring the same food to the people all the time. I have been criticized by the faction that I never change my doctrine. I told them that if we get it all out of the sum of the Word we do not ever need to change it. The Israelites complained in the wilderness of the same Manna that fell every morning and they brought a curse on themselves for hating the Manna. The factious apostates also hate the Word of God and criticize the ministers who stick strictly to it. The apostates like to add to it and take away from it bringing curses upon themselves.) Then the factious woman left the baby shower party and everyone else simply carried on as if nothing had happened. (The factious always leave the true fellowship around the Word of God that brings forth the birth of the Man-child, Jesus, in the hearts of those who love His Word and truth. Their demons are never missed when they are separated from us.) Then the scene changed and I was in a room laying on the bed. I was in labor and ready to give birth to a baby boy. (Once the Lord cleanses all the factious from among us then the Man-child is birthed.) My mom was at my head and two women were at my feet waiting for the baby to come out. My mom was worried about me but I assured her that I felt fine and didn't have any pain. I felt the baby was ready, so I pushed 3 times and felt his head and shoulders come out. I told the women that he was ready to be pulled out and so they pulled him out and laid him in my arms. Then I woke up. (This is a sign of the Man-child being born.) Son of Perdition David Eells In 2001 a prophet from east Florida was sitting at his computer and the Lord gave him a website to type in. It was my site. This was a miracle considering that in those days my address was more complex than it is today. When he found my number he called me and told me that the Lord had told him that he would see the son of perdition in another month. I told him I didn't think that was possible because the falling away had to come first according to 2 Thessalonians 2. However, when I got off the phone, the Lord pointed out to me that I was writing an article on the son of perdition according to what He had shown me and it would be finished the next month. I realized that this was where he would see, meaning get the revelation of, the son of perdition. The next month when I sent him the article, he saw it as a fulfillment of what the Lord had spoken to him. He saw the son of perdition. A LARGE BODY WHICH FALLS AWAY I recommend that the very short chapter 4, Second Key to Hidden Manna, be fresh in your mind before reading this chapter. As we saw there, Jesus and His disciples were for signs of those who were to follow in their steps in the end time. Judas, the son of perdition, was one of those signs. He was a type and shadow of a corporate body of people hidden in the body of Christ that is going to be revealed in these days. This is our Judas, the “son of perdition,” and the “man of sin.” Again, as we saw in the Second Key, Judas is a spiritual father of a vast body of people today that will walk as he walked in the falling away and betrayal of the body of Christ. Judas walked in the steps of his spiritual father, Dan, who was called a serpent, and was also one of the twelve patriarchs who fell away (Gen.49:6,17). Therefore, if we study Judas, we will see who his spiritual counterparts are in our day. (1Cor.10:11) Now these things happened unto them (Israel) by way of example (Greek: “figure” or “type”); and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come. Let's look at our type so we can see what will happen in the “end of the ages” to the Church. The children of Israel ate the lamb as a type of Jesus and they were delivered from the curse as the death angel passed over them (Gal.3:13). They crossed the Red Sea as a type of baptism (1Cor.10:2) where the Egyptian (the old man) were buried and the Israelite (the born again man) came up out of the water and went into the wilderness of the Tribulation (Rev.12:6; 17:3). A “mixed multitude went up also with them” (Ex.12:38). The mixed multitude was part Egyptian (the old man) and part Israelite (the born again man). (Num.11:4) And the mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? (6) But now our soul is dried away; there is nothing at all save this manna to look upon. This is a type of the half-Christians who lust after the flesh and will even tempt the true Christians. They hated the manna. The word “manna,” in Hebrew, is literally “man” in Exodus 16:31. The Man that they hated to eat was Jesus who is the bread of heaven, the Word of God that we must eat to have life (Joh.6:51)! This angered God, Who said He would give them more flesh than they could stomach. (20)…Until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you; because that ye have rejected the Lord (manna) who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt? Paraphrased, this says, “Why did we ever get saved?” In type they were rejecting the self-crucifying Word of God to live after their own lusts and God was giving them what they wanted until it made them sick. This is kind of like the boy who gets caught smoking by his dad, who, in an attempt to make him repent, makes him smoke the whole pack until he turns green. In this case, however, the boy never repented and died of cancer. Romans 8:13 says, “if ye live after the flesh, ye must die.” (Num.11:33) While the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the anger of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague. (34) And the name of that place was called Kibroth-hattaavah, because there they buried the people that lusted. The wilderness tribulation that was meant to give life brought death to those who followed after the flesh and so it will in the coming days. Those who according to the type fell away and spiritually died as sons of perdition, came out of their midst. We have these lukewarm people among us now but they will be spewed out of the body (Rev.3:16) just like Judas, who came out of the early body of the twelve disciples, and Dan, who is no longer listed among the twelve tribes (Rev.7:4-8). Those that were left were sanctified from the man of sin that was in their midst and ready to go to the Promised Land. Jesus, as a type of the end time Man-child's ministry, taught for 3½ years and was betrayed by Judas, who fell away as the son of perdition. As a prophecy of the end, that 3½ years would bring us to the middle of the Tribulation when the mark is given as an “abomination that maketh desolate” to those sons of perdition who receive it. (2Th.2:1) Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him; (2) to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand; (3) let no man beguile you in any wise: for [it will not be], except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. In a few words, God is saying do not be deceived. The Lord will not come for us until after the falling away reveals the son of perdition in our midst. The words “falling away” are from the Greek word, apostasia (apostasy). Apostasy here means falling away from Christ and a lost person cannot fall away. The son of perdition is among the Christians as he was in Jesus' day. In the falling away, the “man of sin,” the “son of perdition,” will be revealed. God is going to purge His Church of the rebels and get the rest ready to meet the Lord. People who have been acting like Christians will not be able to act anymore, because of great tribulation. Years ago I prayed over my three sons and asked God to give them a dream or vision concerning our future. God did this to all three and Justin, my youngest son, received an open vision. He saw a great ship on the ocean, filled with people. Some were dressed in white and were on the right side of the ship. Others in black were on the left side. A jet plane suddenly appeared, swooped down, and shot a rocket which blew the ship to pieces. Those dressed in black were not able to swim and sank. The people dressed in white swam around and built a new smaller ship from the pieces. They searched out a smaller motor and installed it on the new ship. The Lord showed me this was the proverbial Gospel ship. Those in white on the right are the sheep and those in black on the left are the goats as Jesus separated them in Matthew 25:33. The white garments are the works of the Spirit and the black garments are the works of the flesh. (Rom.13:12)…Cast off the works of darkness (black garments)… (14)...put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ (white garments), and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof]. (Rev.19:8) And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright [and] pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. (Rev.3:5) He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life…. The water represents the curses written in the Word (Dt.11:26-28). Those in black sank under the curses of this world. The true identity of these will be revealed through tribulation because they will fall away and ultimately be destroyed in the Day of the Lord. Noah was saved by the flood that destroyed the wicked. The flood of destruction proved who was a son of perdition (Greek: “destruction”). The new smaller motor is the new Church government that will be raised up. (Joh.17:12) While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. Among the people of God in the coming days, not one will perish, but the son of perdition. What happened in Judas' day is going to happen in this day. Look at the signs in the Gospels, because they are going to be fulfilled again. (Eccl.1:9) That which hath been is that which shall be; and that which hath been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. If what you see of your revelation of the end times doesn't fit into history, it is wrong; throw it out. Those who fall away in this day are revealed to be the son of perdition. HIDDEN IN THE BODY (Joh.13:17) If ye know these things, blessed are ye if ye do them. (18) I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen…. In other words, Judas was not chosen because he would not do the things Jesus spoke. The lawless can be called but will not be chosen. “For many are called, but few chosen.” The word “chosen” is the word eklektos, where we get the word “elect.” Judas was called to partake of Christ but chose to follow his flesh. (Joh.13:18)…But that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth my bread lifted up his heel against me. Judas ate Jesus' bread with the disciples and then betrayed Him. This also identifies the mixed multitude. In our day, the body of Judas will eat Jesus' bread and then betray the body of Christ. (21) When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in the spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. (22) The disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. (Mat.26:22) And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began to say unto him every one, Is it I, Lord? Obviously the son of perdition, the man of sin, was as well hidden to the others as he is today. When Jesus sent out the twelve to do the miracles, don't you think they would have suspected Judas if he hadn't done any? This is why the son of perdition has to be revealed in our day. He does the religious works, and for a time, he can hide his lack of fruit. Tribulation is necessary to reveal and separate him from the body. He is a cancer in the body of Christ. Judas' hidden lusts overcame him when he was tribulated. For silver (personal gain) he sold out the body of Christ. He was secretly a thief who stole from the common purse (Joh.12:6). He had no concern for the brethren's needs, only his own. The son of perdition still takes what belongs to Jesus and His disciples for himself. Jesus and the disciples had all things common, a practice that continued in Act.2:44, 4:32. (Lk.14:33) So therefore whosoever he be of you that renounceth not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. We must renounce ownership of our possessions, rights, and will, to be a disciple. We are merely stewards of these things for Jesus and the brethren. True disciples steward common possessions, rights, and will, to see that all needs are met. Every member of a body (eyes, ears, arms, etc.) serves the body. (1Cor.6:19)… And ye are not your own; (20) for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body. (Joh.13:26) Jesus therefore answereth, He it is, for whom I shall dip the sop, and give it him. So when he had dipped the sop, he taketh and giveth it to Judas, [the son] of Simon Iscariot. (27) And after the sop, then entered Satan into him. Jesus therefore saith unto him, What thou doest, do quickly. When Judas ate the sop and Satan entered into him, he manifestly became the son of perdition. The Lord spoke to me plainly years ago and said, “SOP, S-O-P, son - of - perdition.” The sop was a morsel of bread that was used to soak up liquid food. We must eat the bread of Christ, the Word, to bear fruit, but it also makes us responsible. (Joh.15:22) If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no excuse for their sin. Judas was reprobated because he knew too much of the Word to get away with what he did. Many are being hardened today because, when they hear the Word, they do not repent. (Psa.41:9) Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, Who did eat of my bread, Hath lifted up his heel against me. The word “Judas” is Hebrew meaning, “to use the hand.” God definitely used the hand of Judas, for Jesus told him, “What thou doest, do quickly.” (Act.2:23) Him, being delivered up by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye by the hand of lawless men did crucify and slay. “Lawless” here is the same Greek word as in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 where the son of perdition is called “the man of sin” or lawlessness. God used the hand of a man of lawlessness to crucify the body of Christ and in these days it will be the same. Our greatest enemy is the man of lawlessness that is among the people of God. From the beginning, Jesus knew Judas would fall away. Jesus said, “Did not I choose you the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” (Joh.6:70). Remember, the son of perdition must fall away and be a Judas to the body before the Lord can come. (Act.1:25) To take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place. “Iscariot” is made up of two words. Is, which is Hebrew for “man,” and cariot, which is Babylonish or Chaldean for “city.” So, Judas Iscariot means, “To use the hand of a man city.” This shows us that the son of perdition is a corporate body of people in our day who are a part of the city of Babylon. As far as Christians are concerned, he is a part of the great Babylonish religious city in these days. Judas represented the city of the falling away that is guilty of the blood of the saints (Rev.17:6,18:24). He was in league with the Sanhedrin, the corporate false prophet over the apostate people of God. Jesus said of His true followers, “Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid” (Mat.5:14). True Christianity is a worldwide city, or congregation of people. However, there is a Babylonish city within our city. There are two cities inhabiting the same territory. God's plan is to separate these two by using the son of perdition to crucify the flesh of the body of Christ, as with Judas and Jesus. (Mat.24:9) Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake. (10) And then shall many stumble (fall away), and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another. (11) And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray. You see here that the end time corporate Judas Iscariot will betray and deceive his own brethren worldwide. (Joh.13:30) He then having received the sop went out straightway: and it was night. When Judas, the son of perdition went out from among the body to betray Christ, it was night. He, now being filled with Satan, walked in total darkness. (Joh.9:4) We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. (5) When I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Another aspect of this darkness was that the son of perdition put out the Light of the world, Christ. This time he will put out the Light of the world, the body of Christ, for Jesus said, “Ye are the light of the world” (Mat.5:14). The night, of course, is when there is no light to see by. In Jesus' day, the Jews were coming to the end of their dispensation of light. God was about to revoke the light from the Jews and give it to the Gentiles. They had a night. Now, the Gentiles are coming to the night. (Rom.11:25)…A hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. We must work “while it is day,” for “the night cometh, when no man can work.” Our work to convert Gentiles is going to be totally useless when God turns away from them and back to the Jews. (Rev.9:20-21) And the rest of mankind…repented not …. (Joh.13:31) When therefore he (son of perdition) was gone out, Jesus saith, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. The Son of man is glorified at the time when the son of perdition goes out. We are also the body of Christ, the son of man. The Church is going to be glorified, or purified, because the son of perdition is going to come out of the midst. Then the Lord will come for a sanctified people. (2Thes.1:10) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day. (11) To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and [every] work of faith, with power; (12) that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Notice that Christ will be glorified in His body before He comes to glorify His body. The body is not glorified here, but Christ in the body. (2Cor.4:11) For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh. (2Thes.2:3) Let no man beguile you in any wise: for [it (the coming of the Lord) will not be], except the falling away come first, and the man of sin (lawlessness) be revealed, the son of perdition, (4) he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God. The Greek word for temple here is naos and is used nine times by Paul in the New Testament. In every case he uses it as the spiritual temple of God's people. Hieron is the Greek word for the literal temple or building, used seventy-one times in the New Testament, but never figuratively. Just as Judas was among the disciples, the latter day son of perdition is sitting in the temple of God's people. (1Cor.3:16) Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (Act.17:24) The God that made the world…dwelleth not in temples made with hands. This truth will destroy much tradition. GOD OF SELF The son of perdition “exalteth himself”“setting himself forth as God.” What happens when you rule your individual temple? You are making yourself God! If you walk after your own flesh, you are your own god. God was meant to sit on the throne of this temple and rule it through your spirit. But if you walk after the flesh, the devil is ruling your temple through your flesh. Self is sitting upon the throne. Continuing his revelation, Paul said, “Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things (2Thes.2:5)?” Paul told us in Philippians 3:18, “For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross (just as Judas) of Christ: (19) whose end is perdition (son of perdition), whose god is the belly (selfish lusts), and [whose] glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.” (Rom.16:17)… Mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling…. (18) For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly (self); and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent. God will “mark” those in the New Testament temple whose god is self. Judas was not only a disciple who ruled in his individual temple but he was also an apostle. He was a leader in the corporate temple. In other words, the sons of perdition are a vast number of individuals ruling their own life and temple, making up a Babylonish corporate temple. Also, they are the apostate leadership ruling in the corporate temple. The apostate leadership is profiled in Second Peter 2 as “false prophets…false teachers…denying even the Master,” “make merchandise of you,” who “loved the hire of wrong-doing,” “and their destruction (perdition) slumbereth not.” Jude profiles them as “shepherds that without fear feed themselves,” “denying our only Master,” “rail at whatsoever things they know not: and what they understand naturally” (the letter), “clouds without water” (no depth in the word), “wandering stars” (not keeping their position of being seated with Christ in the heavens), “who make separations” (denominations). That is a good description of Judas and the end time son of perdition. In our type, ten of the twelve tribes worshiped the image of the beast, the golden calf. (1Ki.12:28) Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold; and he said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods (Hebrew: “Elohim”), O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. (29) And he set the one in Beth-el (Hebrew: “house of God”), and the other put he in Dan (son of perdition). Notice that we are speaking of a false system of worship upon which Israel put the name of Elohim, the true God. Also, we see that it was in the house of God and in the son of perdition. Much of the house of God falls away as the son of perdition because they have a false image of the true God. The apostate churches have a God of their own making but they use the name of Jesus. Paul warned in 2 Corinthians 11:4, “For if he who cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if ye receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive, or a different gospel, which ye did not accept, ye bear well with [him]” (according to the Greek and the numeric pattern). (Rev.3:1)…I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest (Christian), and thou art dead. In the middle of the Tribulation these sons of perdition will give up presenting their bodies as living sacrifices to Christ (Rom.12:1) and take the mark of the beast. This is a fulfillment of Daniel 9:27, “in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” These who have worshiped the image of the beast will take the mark of the beast and go back to their Christian assemblies as an “abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (Mat.24:15). The Man-child ministry will say of this apostate temple, “Your house is left unto you desolate” (Mat.23:38), just as Jesus did. These sons of perdition, now identified as members of the body of the beast, are an abomination standing in the midst of God's holy people. When the righteous see this sign, they are to flee to the mountains (Mat.24:16) as the elect did when this happened as a physical sign in 70 A.D. This falling away will reveal the sons of perdition for who they are and cause their desolation, which is reprobation, and then destruction by the beast.

I will dry the tears from their eyes and will comfort them even if the repercussions of greed continue to rule and prevail. My Father who rules beyond Heaven and earth shall bring peace to the world, but only if the world seeks repentance. Go now and tell the world.”She began to beg to stay with Jesus and asked if another could go in her stead but Jesus said, “These are My plans for you. You were born for this purpose and this is your mission on earth. Go and tell the world what you have seen and heard.” As soon as He was done speaking, she was suddenly knocked off of her feet by a gust of wind that was so powerful that it was beyond her ability to resist its force.When she came back into her body she could hear the sobs and wails of her mother and the doctors rushing around and felt them taking her pulse. They declared that she was dead and that they had never witnessed a miracle like this. She had been dead from 10 pm the previous night and wasn't found by her dad until the next morning when they had rushed her to the hospital.She says she has relayed the information in precisely the same manner as Jesus had given it to her and she hopes that everyone everyone will take heed to the warning. The Lord is the only cure for the things coming. Learn from God's Vaccine Book 7 simple steps to be immune from plagues/pestilences Three Men in a Wheat Field Michael Boldea - March 2010 (David's notes in red) Shortly after returning to the United States I began having a recurring dream. ... After seeking the Lord on the matter however, I know I was supposed to make this dream public. I dreamt I stood in front of a large wheat field. (According to the Parable of the Sower, the field is the world. As we will see, an angel in this dream seems to indicate that this wheat field represents both the food supply, but also God's people in a larger interpretation.) By the golden hew the wheat stalks had taken on, in my dream, I knew that it was close to harvest time, either late summer or early autumn. (We are hearing the date of Sept. 12th as a day of great earthquakes and tsunamis and much death. Video link here.) It was beautiful and peaceful watching the wheat sway gently in the breeze under a picture perfect blue sky. As I grew familiar with the scene before me, I began looking around and saw three men, evenly spaced at the edge of the field. (We are on the precipice of these judgments.) One man stood on the left corner of the rectangular field, the second man stood in the middle, and the third man stood on the far right edge. (These men represent angels bringing judgment as well as a harvest upon the earth.) All three men were dressed in white, and since I was seeing them from behind I could not make out their faces. Each of the three men held something in their right hand. The man on the left held a burning torch, the man in the middle held something that looked like a wineskin, (filled with water) and the man in the far right corner held an old fashioned sickle, and a basket lay on the ground next to him. I recognized the sickle, because I used to play with one in my adolescence while living in Romania. (These represent the angels of judgment.) As I stood and watched this strange scene before me, the man on the far left tipped his torch slightly, and touched one of the wheat stalks with the lit torch. (We must say that these angels may be using men to do their works, for instance, it is the left that is destroying the food supply.) Suddenly about one third of the entire wheat field burst into flame. The fire went out as quickly as it began a sudden burst of flame, followed by the scorched remnants of a once beautiful wheat field. (Although the scenario in this dream is speaking about global famine and the destruction of crops. Rev. 6:5-6 And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come. And I saw, and behold, a black horse; and he that sat thereon had a balance in his hand. 6 And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of wheat for a shilling, and three measures of barley for a shilling; and the oil and the wine hurt thou not.) As I continued watching, the second man uncorked the wineskin, raised it about shoulder level, and tipped it slightly. One solitary drop of water poured out of the wineskin, but as it made contact with the wheat another third of the field was leveled as though a great wave had just swept through it. (It's no secret now that they are poisoning the crops and doing weather warfare against them to flood them and kill many.) I did not understand what I was seeing but I continued to watch the scene unfold. I was expecting the third man to do something as dramatic as the first two, but instead he simply bent from the waist, grabbed a handful of wheat stalk with his left hand, and with a practiced swing of the sickle cut through it. He then laid the wheat he had cut in the basket. Although there was a solemnity in the actions of all three men, the gentleness and care with which the third man laid the wheat in the basket stood out for some reason. (This is the harvest of souls for the Lord.) The man continued the process of cutting wheat and putting it in the basket until it was full, then with practiced ease, tied the wheat into a small bushel with a piece of twine he removed from his waist. He laid the bushel aside, and returned to swinging the sickle and filling the basket. This went on for some time as the man methodically and quickly made bushel after bushel of wheat. (Rev. 14:14-16 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud I saw one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.) For the first two nights, this is where my dream ended, and as I knew this could not be the end of it, I began to pray that I might either see the conclusion of the dream, or receive the interpretation. On the third night, the dream began as the previous two nights, with the first man setting fire to one third of the field, the second man flooding one third, and the third man meticulously harvesting the last third. I thought it would be the same dream yet again, until the man with the sickle turned, looked at me and said, "The world will know hunger, the faithful will know the power of their God.” (We can see from this statement the two fold meaning of crops and people.) I recognized him; I had seen him in both dreams and visions before. (This destruction of food will put the saints in a position to trust God for miracles, such as when Moses led the people of God into the wilderness tribulation where there was no visible means of support. They ran out of water and food but God supplied just as Jesus did when He led the people into the wilderness.) I woke up, and went about my day thinking that I would have the dream again that night, but the dream did not return. I received no further insight or interpretation, but this is what I believe in regards to its meaning: I believe that a worldwide food shortage is imminent. Whether due to too much sun and not enough rain, or too much rain and unprecedented weather patterns, global agriculture will suffer a severe blow very shortly. (We are currently seeing an engineered global food shortage and supply chain disruption.) I also believe that God has already prepared provision for His children, that He will provide for them, and miraculously so. I do not believe God reveals coming events to His children that they might grow fearful or panic, but rather that they might learn to trust Him, knowing that He who is already into tomorrow, has already made provision for it. Matthew 6:25-26, Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matthew 6:31-33, Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Factious Persecution Coming to the Church Dana Coverstone - July 14, 2020 (David's notes in red) I would like to prepare you to understand Dana's revelation of Wolves that are hidden in the Body being revealed. They a corporate "Son of Perdition” such as Judas was called. Jesus had help going to His Cross and He said we would follow him with our crosses or we are not His disciples. Judas, the Son of Perdition, helped Jesus to go to His cross and he, as a corporate body, will help the true body of Christ to go to their cross. 1Joh 2:6 he that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked. Now pay close attention to what Paul says is coming, long after Judas hung himself. His text regarding this speaks of the Lord not coming until the Son of Perdition comes out of the Body to purify it. Let's keep in mind that the Son of Perdition crucifies both the Lord and His Body. There are two harvests; the "first fruits harvest" which is the Man-child reformer harvest and the "ingathering harvest” which is the Church. Both of these harvests must have a Son of Perdition to bring them to their cross of death to self which is when the harvest is ready. The Man-child reformers have already faced their Son of Perdition as the Dragon sought to devour the Man-child in Rev 12. The description below fits both of these "Judas harvests." 2Th 2:1-12 Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him; 2 to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand; 3 let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, (A corporate Son of Perdition is being revealed now and it is before the coming of the Lord in His David Man-child reformer ministry who is spiritually crucified by them.) 4 he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; (These Judas' are thieves, deceivers, and fornicators and they believe their actions are justified, putting themselves above God. This is a reprobation as it was with Judas.) so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God. (Paul used the word “Naos” 9 times as the body of Christ as in this case, but never as the Hieron, which was the word used for the physical temple. Judas was antichrist in his judgment of Jesus, putting himself in the place of God.) 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know that which restraineth ("that which restraineth” the coming of the Lord for His Body is the falling away of the Son of Perdition to purify the Body.), to the end that he may be revealed in his own season. (Judas was hidden among the disciples but was not revealed until he fell away.) 7 For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way (The Numeric pattern is, "be come out of the midst”. Judas the SOP in our day is hidden in the Body as spots and blemishes and must come out through falling away to purify the Body. In Dana Coverstone's dream below he said that the wolves would be sitting in Church right next to Christians and the Christians wouldn't know it but the wolves would come out! Dana said this was about the Church but this has already happened in the first fruits. God has shown us all of this text being fulfilled concerning His first fruits. Now Jesus in the Man-child reformers can come.) 8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth (Like David judged the Edomites and Jesus judged Judas', the Sons of Perdition or destruction, will be judged by the coming of Jesus manifested in the Man-child reformers.), and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming; (Notice the word “manifestation” here, which is phanerosis, means to become visible by a shining forth. The glory of God will be seen in His first fruits according to 2 Co. 3:18.) Isaiah said twice,"His reward is with him and His recompense before him.” 9 even he (The Judas'), whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (Witchcraft is rampant among the Judas'.) 10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (They will deceive only those who do not hold to the scriptures.) 11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Dana's dream:…In the dream, I was standing over a field, looking down on a valley, and it was a large field. (According to the Parable of the Sower, Jesus said, "the field is the world.") And there …were hundreds, perhaps even thousands of wolves, all dark-gray, not black, but dark gray and menacing. …They were all sleeping and they were nuzzling each other and kind of laying around… (Mat 10:16-25 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in theirs synagogues they will scourge you; 18 yea and before governors and kings shall ye be brought for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up (as Judas did), be not anxious how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you. 21 And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child: and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. 24 A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household!) Suddenly, a very dark figure began running into the middle of all those wolves, and with …a whip, he began to whip all those wolves and they began to wake up and they were shrieking and making horrible noises. (This dark figure represents satan who stirred up the Son of Perdition.) They were waking up to being hurt. …The dark figure just kept whipping them and stirring them into a frenzy. He … was making them mad; infuriating them… And he kept whipping… but the wolves weren't hurting him. They showed him respect and showed some fear of him. He was like a master. Once the wolves finally cowered down he stopped and pointed his finger and spun around in a circle, and said, “Go to the cities!” And the wolves took off in every single direction possible, howling, at the top of their lungs. The sky was dark and I don't remember if I saw a moon. (Moon hidden because the Bride has not yet reflected the sun/Son.) …So, the scene changes and I'm standing in front of… a monitor, or video screen of hundreds of TV sets or hundreds of computer screens. And I'm watching men and women of God, pastors, … from all around the world, and I saw myself with them, and we were all preaching the Gospel. Each one of us was sweating and there's almost steam coming off of our heads. It just showed the impact that we were trying to make and we were preaching hard and teaching hard, and we were teaching Biblical principles and dealing with some of the major issues and sin in our cultures. We were calling people to righteousness and holiness and to give up ungodly things that are a part of their lives. (The Church is going into tribulation to "learn to not go beyond the things that are written" as Paul said. Here is one of the things they will learn to obey: 1Ti. 2:11-15 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection. 12 But I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have dominion over a man, but to be in quietness. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not beguiled, but the woman being beguiled hath fallen into transgression: 15 but she shall be saved through her child-bearing, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with sobriety. There were no women pastors in the New Testament.) And as I'm preaching, and watching all these other men and women preach, I saw people in the chairs, in the pews, in the seats, and some are looking at their watches, some are yawing and some have their heads on the back of the chairs or the pews and they're asleep. Others, you could tell were uncomfortable and didn't want to be there. I saw people walking out the back doors. (They are hidden rocks in our love feasts. First there is disinterest, then there is a lack of conscience and then they persecute. Jud 1:8-13 Yet in like manner these also in their dreamings defile the flesh, and set at nought dominion, and rail at dignities. ...10 But these rail at whatsoever things they know not: and what they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, in these things are they destroyed. 11 Woe unto them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. 12 These are they who are hidden rocks in your love-feasts when they feast with you, shepherds that without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn leaves without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13 Wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved forever.) But … I also see, at the front of the church auditorium, a hand-full of people. I'm going to call it a core group. …There was a small core group in every Church where the Gospel was being preached, who were emphatically listening, emphatically supporting their pastors who were preaching, supporting their doctrine, the teaching, the ideas that were coming out from these men and women of God. They were kneeling in prayer and they were praying and were supportive. …They … were praying for those people in the chairs that were behind them who weren't listening and leaving. …There was a gap of distance between those who were really listening and paying attention and those that weren't. (God is making a distinction and separation between his elect and the Sons of Perdition. We will know them by their fruits.) And suddenly, … the howling of wolves appeared outside the churches. I began to hear scratching at the door, like a dog trying to get in or get out. At that moment, the people who were up front, close to the pastor and close to the altar, began to turn around and they were aware that someone was at the door and they began to intensely and aggressively pray against the enemy and the spirit that was at the door. The door didn't burst open, but the wolves just began to come in quietly. They began to walk around and they walked up and sniffed some of the people that were just listening, and the people who weren't listening at all had no idea that the wolves were there. Now, the wolves all had red eyes. … almost like a red LED light. … And when they were being stirred up and whipped by that …master-figure, their eyes began to glow and get brighter and brighter. So, when they were set loose and were going into the cities, their eyes were flaming. So now these wolves came into the churches but their eyes weren't red, they were just black and compliant and they're looking around and they … came up and sat down in the chairs, in the pews, right beside the people who were not listening. … There was no fear, no worry, no concern at all. It was almost as if the people didn't even realize they were there. (Sons of Perdition will be in every Church to help the elect go their cross.) But then the louder that I and the others preached, and the more intensely we preached, and the more we dealt with issues and things that were sin, … these people began to stir, and all of the sudden, the wolves eyes became redder and redder. And as the people became irritated, the wolves began to growl. And … the people who weren't listening began saying, “Shut up! Stop saying that! I don't want to hear that!” They were very aggressive … And I kept preaching, and preaching. And on the screens I kept seeing in my head, all these people just kept preaching and preaching and preaching. Finally, the people who hadn't been listening, were now listening and saying, “Shut up!” and “Stop!” And the wolves are … beside them and nudging them; they're getting them worked-up too. So, the enemy worked these wolves up and the wolves came in and they started stirring up the people. Now the wolves started coming up towards me. And, on the screens, I'm seeing, the wolves start coming up to the other pastors and preachers … of God who are preaching. (Jesus said the way was narrow and the gate was very small to get in, so we were preaching that kind of a message.) These wolves began nipping at my leg and they started trying to bite some of the preachers that I'm watching on screen. They were growling … and one jumped up on my pulpit, and he was right in my face and growling. (Judas was offended with Jesus when the woman with the Alabaster flask didn't sell it and give the money, because he was a thief and he was stealing the money.) I could see the saliva dripping off of his teeth and I tried to push him off and he bit my arm and he grabbed my leg. (It was said of the Lord and His body in Psa 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: A company of evil-doers have inclosed me; They pierced my hands and my feet. This speaks of the lies they speak against His work and walk and so it is today.) I'm watching some of the … preachers and pastors that share the same heart for ministry and preaching that I do, being taken down to the ground by the growling wolves and we just kept preaching and the wolves just kept biting and … attacking us. (And we've been experiencing this and watching this happen for some years.) And the louder we got, the louder the wolves howled and the people at the altar, were praying for safety and for protection. The wolves weren't necessarily attacking the people that were praying. They were stirring up the people who weren't listening and they were attacking the preachers and pastors; those of us who were trying to preach the message that God had given us. The intensity of that moment was profound for me as I'm preaching, I'm trying to kick a wolf and there was no way to fend them all off… We were just being overwhelmed and attacked. And the angry people were getting up and leaving that had not been listening. They were slamming the doors and they were making a big scene and saying, “We're not coming back! You won't shut up! We're done here!” and they left. And suddenly, the scene changed, and I saw courtrooms and judges with gavels, just pounding and pounding at the bench. I saw pastors in chains. I had shackles on myself. I saw people in the jury seats, on the witness stands, and they were crying. And the judges were saying, “You can no longer preach this message. You can no longer declare that this type of lifestyle is sin. … You cannot address these things from the pulpit, ever again. (You cannot say this, you cannot say that.) You cannot say that Jesus is the only way, that was one specific thing that I remember. You cannot say that abortion is a sin… You cannot deal with alternative lifestyles … You can't say that these things violate Scripture. You can no longer preach from Scripture... And most of us that were in there, were saying, “We can't do that.” And the gavel comes down in anger and they're mad. Then I saw churches surrounded by mobs of people. People that were yelling to shut it down, even burn it down. I saw people that were being so hateful towards the Church. I saw people who were harassing believers going into church services. I saw people waiting outside after Church to harass people who were leaving from Church to go home. I saw hateful attitudes. But the thing that stood out in my mind was, that most of the people in those crowds were the people who had been sitting in those chairs and pews and were not listening to begin with. (Because they loved their sin.) In that moment, it struck me, even in the dream, that some of the biggest persecutions the Church is going to face, coming very, very soon, and, I believe, has already started, will come from the people who sat among us in our churches, never accepting the Word of God as the Word of God. They were raised in it all their lives and now they wanted to walk away because they did not like the preaching of the Word of God that says, “This is sin. This is wrong. You cannot walk in this and still be a believer.” It was … their sons and daughters and grandchildren of these people who've been raised in church all their lives, but they've said, “We've had it. There's nothing in this for me. This Gospel has no power, has no authority. It says I can't have this, I can't do that, I can't go where I want to go, I can't be who I want to be, I can't do what I want to do.” And those were the people who were screaming, who were throwing rocks, who had baseball bats and guns in their hands. (We've seen this happen in our own faction. The people who fell away began to slander and steal and destroyed their families with factious witchcraft spirits.) … The anger was led, once again, by those who had fallen away… in backsliding. Those were the people who were pushing back against everything they've been taught. Those that had gone away to college, and have become very liberal in all that they think and do, who have given in to some of the ideas of the protest movements that we're seeing today and... the ideologies that say that one race is better than others. The thing I saw about the pastors who were preaching was they were of every race and color. I saw black, white, Native American, Indian, African, Russian, Chinese etc. They were all preaching the Gospel… and the biggest persecution that came, came from the people who had walked away from the Church. Then I saw pulpits being chopped up with axes, the big old-style, wooden pulpits. I saw them being chopped to pieces. I saw plexiglass pulpits being hammered and hammered. I saw Christians in chains. I saw them being publicly ridiculed and publicly assaulted because their ideas were “old-fashioned” and needed to go. Then I heard a cry that I've heard for six months previous, but there was something added to it. I heard, “Brace yourself and endure to the end.” And then, Snap!, just like that, I woke up. My heart was racing because I saw people that I knew. I saw missionary friends of mine on the foreign fields. I saw pastor friends, I saw district leaders and officials from states that I know who were being attacked by those wolves while they preached the Gospel and held to the standards of the Word of God and they would not back down. And I saw the intensity in their eyes and the fight of their faith because of what they were dealing with and facing at that very moment. I saw it and it was laid-out. And I share this because …I just wanted to get a message out. … God showed me something for the Church and those that might be lost, you need to hear it, I'm telling you right now, this is for the Church. This is for the pastors, the missionaries, this is to those people who believe the Word of God is the Word of God… There's too much compromise in the Gospel right now. And I believe the Lord is showing me that some of the biggest persecution that we are going to face is going to come from within the Church itself, not from the lost, not from Muslims, not from protestors; it's going to come from people who sat in our churches and refused to listen to the truth of the Word of God and have “exchanged the truth of God for a lie.” And Romans 1 comes in to play right here, right now. … So to my pastor friends, I say, “Get with it. Don't stop preaching the hard Gospel. Don't stop preaching the Word of God and the full Gospel behind it.” There is going to be a price that we pay for it. … Preachers, get on your knees, get in your secret place, get in your prayer closet. Hear from God and preach what He says, say what He says. Declare the message He gives you and do not stand down. No matter what it costs, no matter what it does to you or your family. Brace yourself, endure to the end. The Fire of Judgment Falls on the Apostates Missy Pollock - 7/9/22 (David's notes in red) (To preface this dream, before I had fallen to sleep that night, I asked the Lord to give me a dream that would let me know what He has for me ahead. Also I was weary from all the disinformation coming from the D.S. news and alternative news media and had asked Him to give me or anyone else His Intel through dreams, visions, prophetic words etc. So I believe that's what He did! Thank you Father for quickly answering and encouraging me greatly, as well as, all who read and listen to this.) (I believe Missy is representing the Bride in this dream.) I dreamed I was resting on a daybed with sky blue sheets, just like the one I've slept on when I stayed with Eve. (Representing being in the rest of the Bride; ceasing from our own works.) It was dark and I saw out the window what I thought were little meteorites falling from the sky like rain. But then I realized they were falling embers. (We are living in dark times.) … (In part 2 of this series, “Fiery Trials Bring Revival”, Dana Coverstone said, "I saw small embers of flames that were coming down around the clock but not catching the ground on fire although it looked like fire coming down. (Missy's dream also shows the embers of fire coming down out of the sky but not catching anything on fire just like the portion of Dana's dream. Both of these dreams seem to show the embers as being spiritual, A fire from Heaven. Also it's the fire one feels when going through a test and denying their flesh.) So these explosions of the lights were spreading out and the flames were going hundreds of miles beyond them. (This probably represents fear from the mainstream media.) Back to Missy's dream: I went outside with a dustpan and brush to sweep up the remnants of what I saw and to look at it. But there was nothing in my dustpan. (I believe Father put that in my dream to show me that what I saw falling from the sky, wasn't physical but spiritual. Also I didn't get burnt by it.) (It was the judgment from Heaven falling as fire. Elijah called down fire from Heaven on Jezebel's apostates.This fits the dream as we will see.) The house was on top of a hill. (Representing Mt. Zion the Bride who is over the rest of God's elect.) My father (Representing the Father) came and we got into a white SUV. (Representing a vehicle of holiness where there is safety.) I called my husband, who was in the house, and asked him if he saw the embers that were falling from the sky and he said that he did. (Those on top of Mt. Zion have spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear. The Bride will point out these judgments from God and many will be saved.) My father took me for a drive to see what had caught on fire from the embers falling from the sky. We were at the bottom of the hill and as we drove up an incline, I saw some really old houses engulfed in fire. (This represents the fire of judgement that burns up of the wood, hay and stubble and purifies the elect of God's people, i.e. REVIVAL!) (The really old houses near the bottom of Mt. Zion represent the apostate religious institutions that are going to experience judgment for ignoring the call to climb Mt. Zion.) The next thing I know, my husband and I were at my son Curt's house. (Curt is my second son and spiritually represents the fruit of Christ in me.) His house was on top of the same hill (Representing Mt. Zion) that I was on at the start of the dream. It was built up high like the houses built on stilts along the beach to protect it from the waves. Psa 18:2 Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.) I was holding my grandson. (These are the colors used in the civil war.) (The North was blue and the South was gray. As I read this dream, I did a little research and almost immediately found this picture of a map with the same colors in the same places.) I believe the D.S. wants to remove the people who have these attributes of Christ.) Dream of Continents Colliding William Steenland - 6/14/22 (David's notes in red) In a dream I was shown some portion of the globe from way up over the earth. I could see entire continents. Some continents were drifting into others and some were stationary. I could see continents shifting and converging together and knew it would bring a large loss of life. I believe South America and Mexico were due to collide with North America sometime in the near future. Then I woke up. Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijas diplomandu izstāde “Lai dīgst!” apkopo vairāk nekā 180 jauno mākslinieku radošā procesa rezultātus. Šī ir iespēja vienuviet aplūkot visu apakšnozaru absolventu darbus – tas ir gan izsmeļošs pārskats par akadēmijas darbību, jaunumiem un izaicinājumiem, gan lieliska iespēja mākslas interesentiem un plašākai auditorijai iepazīties ar mākslinieku veikumu. Izstādes “Lai dīgst!” ekspozīcijas iekārtotas abās LMA ēkās: kādreizējā Latvijas Universitātes Bioloģijas fakultātē, kas tagad kļuvusi par pilnvērtīgu Mākslas akadēmijas sastāvdaļu, kā arī LMA vēsturiskajā ēkā Kalpaka bulvārī 13. Savā veidā savienojoties, abas ēkas tiek pieteiktas kā aktīvas mākslas norišu platformas – vietas mākslas darbu eksponēšanai, jauno mākslinieku eksperimentiem un, protams, izglītībai. Lai sniegtu kaut nelielu ieskatu plašajā ekspozīcijā, kura skatāma Bioloģijas fakultātē, kā labvēlīgu, bet asredzīgu vērtētāju kopīgai apskatei esmu pieaicinājis filozofijas publicistu Igoru Gubenko, kura interešu lokā mākslas jautājumiem allaž ir bijusi būtiska vieta. Vispirms pievēršamamies maģistra darbam grafikā – Kristapa Kramiņa veidotajai galda spēlei, kurā aplūkota Rīgas mikrorajoniem raksturīgā apbūve: dažādas blokmāju sērijas, kuras iespaidojušas spēles struktūru un vizuālo risinājumu. Nonākam vienā no plašajām katedras iekārtojuma auditorijām, kur vienkop sadzīvo gan tekstilmākslas darbi, gan lielformāta glezniecība, un Igors Gubenko šajā salikumā iezīmē tieši pēdējo pieminēto mediju. Aleksandra Runde savā maģistra darbā grafikas nodaļā piedāvā filigrāno, ļoti sirsnīgo un estētiski pacilājošo zīmējumu sēriju, „Ko darīt, ja esi kails pilsētā”, kas apkopota rokasgrāmatas izdevumā. Igoraprāt, motīva par publisku kailumu saknes meklējamas sapņu pasaulē. Glezniecības nodaļas maģistrantūras absolvente Laura Birša savā darbā „Citāds dārzs” sniedz redzējumu uz skeitborda kultūru, kur pašizteiksme ir kustības brīvība, savukārt pašai autorei – performance. Pētniecības pamatā ir interpretēts Hieronīma Bosa slavenais triptihs „Pasaulīgo baudu dārzs” un tas darīts caur skeitbordista acīm. Lauru satiekam vienu stāvu zemāk, kur viņa pēc garas darba dienas atpūšas dīvānā kopā ar savu studiju biedreni Emmu Sofiju. Aicinu abas diplomandes dalīties iespaidos par visu pārējo kolēģu veikumu kopumā. Deivs Grēbers ir Ņūorleānā bāzēts mākslinieks, kuram Rīgas mākslas vide nav sveša. Viņa vērtējums par diplomdarbu izstādi galvenokārt koncentrējas uz telpas īpatnībām. Neatņemama Mākslas akadēmijas studiju sastāvdaļa kopš augstskolas dibināšanas ir Mākslas vēstures un pētniecība, kopumā- zinātne. Abus jaunos māksliniekus vieno Jaņa Rozentāla mākslas vidusskola, kurā abi mācījušies. Tad Armands devies studēt bakalaura programmu Hāgas Karaliskās mākslas akadēmijas grafiskā dizaina nodaļā, bet Miķelis – Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijā programmā “Kustība. Attēls. Skaņa” ieguvis bakalaura grādu. Neoficiāla abu sadarbība notikusi arī iepriekš, taču jaunākā izstāde uzskatāma par pirmo oficiālo kopdarbu. Mākslinieki, kombinējot dažādos medijus, papildina viens otra mākslinieciskās pieejas un rada jaunu figurālo pasauli, kas paspilgtina senas gleznas motīvus. Mākslas darbs, ko mūsdienīgiem līdzekļiem interpretējuši, ir 15. un 16.gadsimta nīderlandiešu gleznotāja Hieronīma Boša populārais darbs „Pasaulīgo baudu dārzs”. Šovasar izstāžu dzīve galerijā turpināsies, jo programma saplānota līdz septembrim. Kā nākamās izstādi veidos divas jaunas mākslinieces Estere Betija Grāvere un Agnese Čemme.

God was about to revoke the light from the Jews and give it to the Gentiles. They had a night. Now, the Gentiles are coming to their night. (Rom.11:25)…A hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. We must work “while it is day,” for “the night cometh, when no man can work.” Our work to convert Gentiles is going to be totally useless when God turns away from them and back to the Jews. It will be night to them. (Rev.9:20-21) And the rest of mankind…repented not …. The Greek word for temple here, in which the corporate Son of Perdition sits, is “naos" and is used nine times by Paul in the New Testament. In every case he uses it as the spiritual temple of God’s people. “Hieron" is the Greek word for the literal temple or building, used seventy-one times in the New Testament, but never figuratively. Just as Judas was among the disciples, the latter day son of perdition is sitting in the temple of God’s people and is coming out in order to crucify and purify the body. (1Cor.3:16) Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (Act.17:24) The God that made the world…dwelleth not in temples made with hands. This truth will destroy much tradition. The son of perdition “exalteth himself” “setting himself forth as God.” (He claims the right to play God and judge the body just as Judas did. Just as the anarchists, radical Islam, communists, leftists do in the world today by ignoring democracy, the will of the people, and the constitution, in their self righteousness and self will, they are lawless. Their work against the Trump administration is perfectly parallel to what the Judas son of perdition does in the church against the Man-child body.) What happens when you rule your individual temple? You are making yourself God! If you walk after your own flesh, you are your own god. When you judge others better than yourself you make yourself God. God was meant to sit on the throne of this temple and rule it through your spirit. But if you walk after the flesh, the devil is ruling your temple through your flesh. Self is sitting upon the throne. Continuing his revelation, Paul said, “Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things (2Thes.2:5)?” Paul told us in Philippians 3:18, “For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ (Just as our Judas’ are): (19) whose end is perdition (son of perdition), whose god is the belly (selfish lusts), and [whose] glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.” (Rom.16:17)…Mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling…. (18) For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly (self); and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent. God will “mark” those in the New Testament temple whose god is self. Judas was not only a disciple who was to rule in his individual temple but he was also an apostle. He was a leader in the corporate temple. In other words, the sons of perdition are a vast number of individuals ruling their own life and temple, making up a Babylonish corporate temple. Also, they are the apostate leadership ruling in the corporate temple. The apostate leadership is profiled in Second Peter 2 as “false prophets…false teachers…denying even the Master,” “make merchandise of you,” who “loved the hire of wrong-doing,” “and their destruction (perdition) slumbereth not.” Jude profiles them as “shepherds (Not in the original) that without fear feed themselves,” “denying our only Master,” “rail at whatsoever things they know not: and what they understand naturally” (the letter), “clouds without water” (no depth in the word), “wandering stars” (not keeping their position of being seated with Christ in the heavens), “who make separations” (factions and denominations). That is a good description of Judas and the end time son of perdition. In our type, ten of the twelve tribes worshiped the image of the beast, the golden calf. (1Ki.12:28) Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold; and he said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem (Where the presence of God was in the true Temple): behold thy gods (Hebrew: “Elohim”), O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. (29) And he set the one in Beth-el (Hebrew: “house of God”), and the other put he in Dan (son of perdition). Notice that we are speaking of a false system of worship upon which Israel put the name of Elohim, the true God. Also, we see that it was in the house of God and in the son of perdition. Much of the house of God falls away as the son of perdition because they have an idol, which is a false image of the true God. The apostate churches have a God of their own making but they use the name of Jesus but they do not act IN the name of Jesus. Paul warned in 2 Corinthians 11:4, “For if he who cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if ye receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive, or a different gospel, which ye did not accept, ye bear well with [him]” (according to the Greek and the numeric pattern). (Rev.3:1)…I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest (Christian), and thou art dead. In the middle of the Tribulation these sons of perdition will give up presenting their bodies as living sacrifices to Christ (Rom.12:1) and take the mark of the beast. This is a fulfillment of Daniel 9:27, “in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” These who have worshiped the image of the beast will take the mark of the beast and go back to their Christian assemblies as an “abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (Mat.24:15). The Man-child ministry will say of this apostate temple, “Your house is left unto you desolate” (Mat.23:38), just as Jesus did. These sons of perdition, now identified as members of the body of the beast, are an abomination standing in the midst of God’s holy people. When the righteous see this sign, they are to flee to the mountains (Mat.24:16) as the elect did when this happened as a physical sign in 70 A.D. This falling away will reveal the sons of perdition for who they are and cause their desolation, which is reprobation, and then destruction by the beast. (1Ki.12:31) And he made houses of high places (steepled cathedrals full of apostates), and made priests from among all the people, that were not of the sons of Levi. Notice in ten of the twelve tribes the leadership was ordained of men and not God, just as it is today. The corporate leadership “exalteth himself…setting himself forth as God” in the corporate temple. In the Korah, Dathan, and Abiram rebellion, they usurped the authority of the true leadership and “all the congregation” followed them (Num.16:19,22,41). Korah represents the true Levites who usurp the authority of the High Priest, Jesus. Dathan and Abiram, who were not Levites, represent those who usurp the position of the Levite or minister when God did not call them. To prove the true leadership, God commanded that each tribe take a rod “and, behold, the rod of Aaron (representing the High Priest, Jesus) for the house of Levi (the true ministers) was budded…and bare ripe almonds” (Num.17:8). This is as Jesus and the disciples demonstrated among the false leadership when the rod of their authority bore fruit. The Man-child and the two witnesses will demonstrate this in the Tribulation. As with Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, when “the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households,” so the end time false leadership will be swallowed up by the earth (Num.16:32). The flesh is represented by the earth, from which it is made (Gen.2:7). In other words, they will be completely overcome and consumed by the lusts of the flesh along with “their households,” those who submit to them. (This is clearly what has happened to the son of perdition.) They “went down alive into sheol” (33). Paul said in 1 Timothy 5:6 “But she that giveth herself to pleasure is dead while she liveth.” In other words they are swallowed up by their own flesh. That Korah, Dathan, Abiram and their households represent the corporate end time son of perdition, which was separated from the body, is seen in Psalm 55:13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, My companion, and my familiar friend (Judas, the son of perdition). (14) We took sweet counsel together; We walked in the house of God (temple) with the throng. (15) Let death come suddenly upon them, Let them go down alive into Sheol; For wickedness is in their dwelling (temple), in the midst of them. Notice Judas is plural “them” here and is identified with the Korah rebellion because they went “down alive into Sheol.” (Mat.7:15) Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing (the temple of God), but inwardly are ravening wolves (the son of perdition within). (2Thes.2:6) And now ye know that which restraineth, to the end that he (son of perdition) may be revealed in his own season. This is a repeat of verse 3, which says, “except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.” Notice, that which restrains the revealing of the son of perdition is the falling away, just as the pattern with Judas clearly shows us. He was so well hidden to the disciples that it took the falling away to reveal him, just as it will today. (7) For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only [there is] one that restraineth now, until he become out of the midst. (8) And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming. “Until he become out of the midst” is what the Numeric pattern proves and the ancient manuscripts show. Notice that the Lord is restrained from coming until the son of perdition comes out of the midst of God’s people, the temple. In 2 Peter 2:13, these apostates are called “spots and blemishes” in the body. When these come out, the body will be spotless and blemishless, ready to meet the Lord. (Mat.13:30) Let both (the tares and the wheat) grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn. God says, “in bundles (plural) to burn them,” not “bundle” as if He were speaking of one place like hell. This burning is going to happen on this earth in the Day of the Lord. Birds of a feather are going to flock together into their bundles, of the sons of perdition. (Mal.4:1) For, behold, the day cometh, it burneth as a furnace; and all the proud, and all that work wickedness, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up…. We also see here that the sons of God and the sons of perdition will mature together. Notice that the harvest at the end is when the tares will come out of the midst of the wheat, just as is happening now. Jesus explains this further in (Mat.13:41) The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and them that do iniquity (Greek: “lawlessness”). (43) Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear. Jesus will gather out of His kingdom the “man of sin” or “lawlessness,” which is the same Greek word as “iniquity.” Only then will the righteous shine as the sun. Look at the process: 1) The falling away. 2) The son of perdition is revealed. 3) He comes out of the midst. 4) The Lord comes for His sanctified body. Let us study another aspect of the son of perdition coming out of the temple. (2Thes.2:8) And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath (Greek: “spirit”) of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming (Greek: “presence”). Notice that the manifestation of Jesus’ presence is going to destroy the son of perdition from His kingdom. There is a “son of perdition” or “man of sin” sitting in our individual temple, making himself God. He has to come out of the midst before we are ready to meet the Lord. In life, the destruction of the son of perdition, the old man, is by the manifestation of Christ’s presence. (2Cor.4:16) Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man (the old man, the son of perdition) is decaying, yet our inward man (the spiritual man, Christ in you) is renewed day by day. The manifestation of His presence in us destroys the son of perdition in our individual temple. It is this growing up of Jesus in us that slays the “man of sin” or “lawlessness.” The Judas’ refuse this process. (2Cor.4:11) For we who live are always delivered unto death (of the man of sin) for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh. (2Jn.1:7) For many deceivers are gone forth into the world (falling away), [even] they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. Notice that “the antichrist” is “many deceivers.” The portion of antichrist that is in the corporate temple are the sons of perdition. The rest of the body of antichrist is in the world. Notice that many deceivers fall away because they do not believe that Jesus is coming in the flesh. The only flesh that Jesus is progressively coming in is that of His corporate body. These apostates believe you should be satisfied with forgiveness but that you cannot believe for deliverance from sin, which is the Gospel. The blood of bulls and goats brought forgiveness but could not “take away sins” (Heb.10:4). (Joh.1:29) On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world! The apostates say you will always be a sinner but God said, “while you were yet sinners”. (Rom 5:8) But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus came to take away the sin nature and replace it with His own. (2Cor.3:18) But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory …. Seeing Jesus in the mirror is believing the true Gospel. We say with Paul, “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me” (Gal.2:20). This faith enables God to bring it to pass. The sons of perdition cannot bear the thought that Jesus will take their place on the throne of the individual or corporate temple. (1Jn.2:18) Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour. (19) They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us. Again we see many antichrists, sons of perdition, falling away in order to be revealed that they are not of us. What we are seeing now is the Body of the Bride is being sanctified of the sons of perdition. Shortly however God will do the same process for the Church as a whole. Notice that this will be seen in the “last hour.” In Revelation 17:12 the beast rules for “one hour” which is the last 3½ years (Rev.13:5), when he will make war on the saints (13:7) who refuse the mark of the beast. These antichrist sons of perdition will try to preserve their lives by taking the mark, proving themselves members of the body of the beast in the “last hour.” John goes on to reveal the reason the antichrist sons of perdition will fall away. (1Jn.2:22)…This is the antichrist, [even] he that denieth the Father and the Son. What does it mean to deny the Father and Son, and how do we avoid that? (23) Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that confesseth (Greek: homo logeo, “speak the same as”) the Son hath the Father also. We see if we agree with Jesus in speaking the same truth, we are not denying Him and we will have Father and Son. Also in the Gospel of John, Jesus said if we loved Him and kept His Word that He and the Father would make their abode with us (Joh.14:21-23). Their abode is the true temple that will be cleansed of those who speak against the Word. Back in 1 John 2 the next verse confirms all that we have said here. (24) As for you, let that abide in you which ye heard from the beginning. If that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son, and in the Father. It is imperative that we receive only the teaching that we heard from the beginning, out of the mouth of Jesus and His disciples, not the apostate gospel of the end time religions. Those who do not “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints” will fall away as Jude said (Jud.1:3-5). Many who start out with us as friends will not, as Jesus said, endure to the end to be saved (Mat.10:22, 24:13). Those who change what is written to suit religion, do so at their own peril. (2Jn.1:9) Whosoever goeth onward (that is past initial salvation) and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son. You can see that it is not those who start out with you, but those who continue, as also in the parable of the sower. (10) If any one cometh unto you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into [your] house, and give him no greeting: (11) for he that giveth him greeting partaketh in his evil works. People think this speaks of the Jehovah Witnesses or the Mormons, but it is talking about those that are among us who don’t teach verse 7, that Jesus “cometh in the flesh.” If a person is teaching that you can overcome sin through faith in the Word of Jesus, then that is a faithful person. The rest have been recreated in the image of religion but not in the image of the “Father and the Son.” God made what was written an eternal covenant (Heb.13:20). The Church has made the same mistake Israel did in changing the covenant after it was made. Haven’t you heard them say that the five-fold ministry, or the supernatural gifts and power of God, were done away with after the apostles? LIARS! The Bible colleges have turned out apostate teachers by the thousands that deny the clear teaching of the Word. Most of the people consider them good men, but blood is on their hands and they will be with their father, Judas, if they do not repent. The wicked will not be counted righteous when they speak lies in the Tribulation. (Rom.3:4)…Let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified (accounted righteous) in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment (tribulation). This is why they will fall away. I pray that you are not among them. God does not reveal these things so that we can have a witch-hunt. Even if you know who is a Judas that doesn’t mean you should treat them any differently. Jesus knew who Judas was but treated him with equality, love, and training. Jesus knew he should have the same opportunity to prove himself, so that as the son of perdition, it would be his own fault. Jesus also knew that, Judas had a good purpose in the plan of God, which was to betray the righteous and make crucifixion of their flesh possible. I have learned these things from my own Judases, some of whom God has pointed out to me beforehand. Others I came to realize only after I felt the knife in my back. In effect, they are a great ally in the cause of the manifestation of our Sonship because crucifixion of self would not be possible without them. Printer-friendly version

It is the year 1423 of the Perfect Millennium, and the galaxy has been conquered by the Divine Principality. At the center of this empire, the only place where its five Great Stels meet, there is a moon beating where a heart should be. The moon of Partizan. Abetted by immortal, machinic gods called Divines, and the legions of Hallowed mechs which extend their terrible reach, the Principality spent millennia sharpening itself on its rivals. What it could not devour it obliterated. What it could not obliterate, it simply outlived. It was an empire, unshakeable. Until now. For the first time in the Principality’s long history, two of its five Stels have gone to war with one another, each guided by a ruler with sound claim to the title of Princept, leader of All Divinity. For five years, they have fought to a standstill, while equivacators and scavengers find profit in rubble. But historical crises do not only serve crass opportunists, they revive opportunity itself. Under the shadow of this war you find yourself wondering: For how long will there be empires? For as long as we breathe? Longer? Will the categories of our conquest outlast us, or could there come a day for something else. We once dreamt that breaking free from our ancient home in the cosmos would allow us to escape the mass and pull of tyranny and trauma. We failed then, but perennial chaos offers us another chance: Can we launch with such speed that we glide, graceful or imperfect, beyond war and pain? While the Principality is in a state of constant war with The Branched, a rival power extremely far from the small moon of Partizan, these Stels are also in various states of conflict (open and hidden) with each other. In brief, those Stels are: Stel Kesh: The oldest established power in the galaxy, built around a stuffy (and secretive) aristocracy. They are tied to the Past. History, knowledge, stubbornness. Stel Nideo: Created the largest faith in the empire, and used that influence to shape (and surveil) mass culture. They are tied to the Present. Faith, coercion, stability. Stel Orion: An industrial giant that controls more literal space than any other Stel, yet is also the most fragmented and unstable. They are tied to Space. Wealth, labor, expansion. Stel Columnar: A fence-sitting democracy, made up largely of synthetics on the cutting edge of technology, art, politics, and war. They are tied to the Future. Innovation, style, cowardice. Stel Apostolos: A dynamic and diverse military powerhouse, guided by an iconic, but controversial leader. They are tied to Motion. Speed, change, violence. There are two major faiths in the Principality. Both espouse the idea of an empire built of minor states--allowing for small scale conflict without threat to the whole empire. Where they differ is: Received Asterism: Teaches that Divines, the immortal machines and mechs that helped establish the Principality's hold on the galaxy, reflect the best aspects of the state itself. The divine Strength, in other words, is like a living flag of the Principality's own strength. Progressive Asterism: Teaches that these same Divines are true embodiments of their names, and that the citizens and states of the Principality should look to them as guiding stars. The Divine Strength, in other words, is a reflection of strength itself, or maybe "god's strength," and we should aspire to make our strength look like the divine's. 5 years ago, Dahlia, the living Princept (born to Kesh, then kidnapped by Nideo, then rescued and raised into adulthood by Apostolos), declared themself leader of both Stel Kesh and Apostolos alongside a stunning revelation of the Principality’s crimes against Apostolos. Kesh called these claims an Apostolosian ploy for power, and elected a minor noble as an anti-Princept. Today, as Apostolos and Kesh war openly over territory, authority, and public sentiment, the other Stels seek to capitalize on the chaos. Columnar and Orion’s long cold war, driven by each Stel’s desire to cement its status as dominant economic and technological power, needs only a single spark to explode. Still repairing their reputation after the Farmer’s Sin, Stel Nideo bides their time, rebuilds their forces, and gains popular support. Soon, a weakness will be revealed, and they will be prepared. (Apologies for missing fragments in the audio - this is due to a technical error at the recording stage) Notes: In our first talk in this series we said that the overall theme of Ephesians could best be summarised with Paul’s words in Chapter 5. I am talking about Christ and his church. This is particularly noticeable in our passage for today where Paul describes the church as a temple. But first let’s remind ourselves of what we said last time. We started to look at Ephesians 2:11-22 and we saw that the main purpose of this passage is to show that through the death of Jesus: The enmity and barrier between Jews and Gentiles has been broken down Whether we are Jew or Gentile, citizenship in the true Israel is dependent on being in Christ Through the new humanity created by this, God is building a holy temple in which God lives by his Spirit. The first two points we dealt with last time, so it’s the final point we’ll be concentrating on today, but first let’s read the whole passage again together: 11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth (in the flesh) and called ‘uncircumcised’ by those who call themselves ‘the circumcision’ (which is done in the body by human hands) – 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside (abolishing) in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. 19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. God is building a new temple - it’s the church! This is the first of four metaphors Paul uses for the church in Ephesians: Building (Ch.2) Body (Ch.4) Bride (Ch.5) Batallion (Ch.6) God’s temple is no longer a physical building God’s dwelling place is not a temple or cathedral made of stone. By his Spirit he inhabits the company of the redeemed. The ‘church’ is not the place we go to on Sundays, but the company of people who gather there in Jesus’ name. Membership of the church (being part of God’s true temple) is not dependent on ethnic or religious background, but simply on being ‘in Christ’ It is ‘in Christ’ that the Gentiles have been brought near (v 13). It is ‘in him’ (v 21) that the different parts of God’s temple are joined together. And it is in Christ Jesus that we have been created to do the works which God has prepared for us to do (v 10). Whether we be Jew or Gentile it is only if we are ‘in Christ’ that we are part of his church. The apostles and prophets are the foundation and Jesus himself is the chief cornerstone of the building v20 At first sight this seems to contradict 1 Corinthians 3:11 where Paul says No other foundation can anyone lay than that which has been laid - Christ Jesus. But it’s probably just a different handling of the same metaphor Jesus here is the cornerstone against which the rest of the foundation must line up Apostles and prophets both then and now only have authority as they square up to the teaching of Jesus. Being part of the church is a very serious and yet a very wonderful thing This ‘temple’ God is building is ‘holy’ (v 21), a place where God lives by his Spirit (v 22). The temple must be holy if it is to be a place for God to dwell - and it is, because it’s made up of people who have been made holy! This truth is reinforced by the choice of the Greek word Paul uses for ‘temple’ here. In Greek there are two main words for ‘temple’. One is hieron, the other is naos. Hieron was usually used to signify the temple as a whole, including all its outer courts and precincts, whereas naos would generally refer to the innermost shrine In a pagan temple this would be thought to be the dwelling place of the god to whom the temple was dedicated. In the Jewish temple it would be the Holy of Holies. The fact that Paul uses naos rather than hieron here to refer to the church as God’s temple may very well suggest that he sees the church as God’s Holy of Holies. Not only may Christians have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 10:19), but the church actually becomes the dwelling-place of God through the Spirit! This most solemn and awesome thought is underlined by what Paul teaches the Corinthians: Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple (naos) and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). From this we learn that the local church - even a very imperfect local church like that of the Corinthians - is to be thought of as a holy temple in which the Spirit of God abides. But this is no reason to be complacent. The fact that God dwells in his church is here used as a solemn warning to those who were destroying the church by their divisions. When we gather in Jesus’ name the Spirit of God is present among us. This should cause us on the one hand to be careful that our attitude and behaviour are pleasing to God, and on the other, to expect that the Spirit’s power will be manifest among us. We are in the presence of God himself! The importance of knowing our place in the building 21 In him the whole building is ( being ) joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Hieron was a farmer from Tyana in Cappadocia, known for his great bodily strength as well as purity of soul. Hearing of his prowess, imperial soldiers came to draft him into the army. Knowing that he would be required to make sacrifice to the idols, Hieron drove them off with only a wooden stave, then hid in the wilderness. Later, however, he went to the Governor voluntarily and openly confessed his faith in Christ. For this his right hand was cut off and he was imprisoned with thirty-two other believers. As they awaited their end, Hieron strengthened the others in the Faith. All were beheaded together outside Melitene in Armenia.

...took a new name: the Frost Shepherd. It was in trying to understand this act, its causes, and its consequences, that I first thought this second volume might be necessary. Even as it happened, I sensed a moment of diversion, of what an old mentor would have called a potential “rupture” in history. In the old Hieron, when such a thing was still possible, I studied and practiced as a semiotician of the New Archives. Because the Rhizome stretches as it does, and because we were so removed from the histories which precede us, you may not know what that means. In short: We collected the world so that we might better arrange it. This is how I fell in love with writing and with history. Towards the end of my studies, in some north campus basement, Semiotician Emeritus Uklan Tel delivered a guest lecture for a select group out of some technical obligation to the department. “The world unfolds according to systems and rules,” he told us. “History, politics, war, society--they have velocity, they have force, they have momentum. But now and then there is a chance for great change.” Any average evening would be followed by an equally average day, but a rupturous evening might bring a day like one we’ve never seen. But these moments only carried the potential for transformation, he told us. These moments of historical rupture, he said, offered opportunity for the systems and rules by which we organize ourselves to find a new route. But most of the time? That opportunity was wasted. Things returned to the status quo. The moons past over the edge of the world, the sun arose, and we’d be back to normal. I had the impression, as he started to speak, that he was trotting out an old lecture, something reliable, that even dead in his voice would impress on our young, eager psyches. But as he spoke, he found a startling rhythm, like an old workhorse building towards a colt’s gait. It was as if something he’d seen, something recent, maybe, had given flesh to words that had only been bone. I could tell that he thought he wasn’t just correct, but that he right. He told us, then, that we might not know it, but that we lived in a moment of rupture. And when I stood in that crowd and heard the Frost Shepherd speak, I recognized in my own blood, on my own skin, an echo of Tel’s old confidence in recognizing a moment rupture. When Tel warned us about the future, he was, of course right--and only now do we know how ironic this warning was, considering his own role in the events of the years that followed that lecture. Which is excuse enough for me to extend his warning to you: In times like these, the rupture is not one night, it is ongoing, and we are all participants in whatever comes next. Pace yourselves. Recognize the way you touch the world. ...understandably caused us to doubt not only our relationship with them (albeit too late), but also with ourselves and our faculties. The world was large, larger not only than what we’d known before but larger than anything it had been before. And it was large in new ways. In the old Hieron, a big place was wide or it was tall. But we’d learned that this place was deep. We’d regularly find new creatures and cultures in the branches we already knew well. How could we trust that we had not missed something important in a place like this? For the adventurous sort, those who followed in the footsteps of those who founded the modern University settlement, this was a plus. But for those whose task was to catalog, study, and explain the Rhizome, this was an ache that never dulled. “It’s made setting up our beat desks that much harder,” said Marisol Sweetwater, then editor, now publisher of The New Current. “We have to constantly ask ourselves questions that back in Rosemerrow would’ve been given. What does ‘Local News’ mean in a place where a whole civilization can just show up under some giant petal you never flipped over?” The Rhizome was not simply vast, it was vasting, endlessly growing. And in the face of that, stability became the chief, communal referent. Even those who prefered the world this way, who were eager to turn leaves over for the rest of their lives, had their own exploits reframed in the popular rhetoric of cataloguing and mastery. One might take to the long branch to explore, but when their stories reached home, it was as proof that the Rhizome could be explored—routed, mapped, finally put to rest. Who knows why the discourse shifted like this. Some suggest it’s because of a generic fear of the unknown. Maybe it was because it was what we already knew. …unexpected means of conveyance, but at that time, what ought have been reasonably expected at all? Perhaps such flippancy isn’t well placed. Now, with the benefit of distance and context, it’s simple to recognize the many ways that the Rhizome should have shaken loose our assumptions along with all that old Hieronic dirt. But by all retrospective accounts--including this historian’s own limited recollection--no single question dominated our collective anxiety as much as this one: What can we expect? In a world of giant insects, endless growth, unearthed histories older than the Weaver King was long, how could we know what tomorrow would bring? Perhaps it was phrased differently, sometimes more specifically or with more sentimentality. But at core, it was this question--this fear--that led many to swear allegiance to the banners of Alcyon, the University, the Grey Duke. The words delivered to us by the Shepherd confirm that it was what motivated those who came to that fateful Understanding. And while this is admittedly conjecture, it is easy to believe that it is what made so many pray to Galenica, whose most authorial power was still grounded in the one bit of old Hieron still left in grand supply: us. Would tomorrow be worse than today? Would the suns ever find consistency, the pollen ever break? Would those who left us return? Would the threads of the world spiral further apart than they already had? Would ‘normalcy’ ever arrive? In the face of these things, how common a response fear is. In hindsight, though, it has become clear that the Grey Duke’s grand project—his attempt to re-order and organize the world around him and his territory—did not need others to kneel before him. They need only decide that facing him was a necessity to ensure his centrality in the new maps of the world. But [I] could count on it. Three weeks, with cart.” The man tapped his temple three times, as if to emphasize the truth of the matter. …was standing there in the midst of utter chaos, I found strength in words uttered by the immortal warrior Red Jack (who you will become well acquainted with as you read on) only days before he led an assault on the being called the Advocate. “Heroism,” he said, “is not such a unique thing.” He was right. The heroes that day were not only those who faced down men worshipped as gods—or those that despised them. The heroes were the many whose names were not already known, who rallied their neighbors as the world around them crumbled, and ensured that even if the very body of Hieron itself vanished, Hieron, the collection of people, would not. The world, contrary to this book’s title, did not end. All of which is to say that I am grateful that this text is being published in an incomplete state. The truth is that when I first began to write this volume, it wasn’t a volume at all. It was just a book. An encyclopedia, collecting in one place stories from reliable (if not always honest) narrators, who together paint an image of the world as it was when it was still ending. As a writer and as an archivist, of course I knew a book like this could never be complete: Even if every fact I’d scribbled were true, even if I’d eradicated my bias—and I haven’t—how could I be sure that some key detail was not lost in the telling? And so I am twice happy to be writing this foreword. First, because it means that the world and life (which frankly, I am very fond of) continues yet. Second, with our collective end seemingly deferred it gives me an excuse to begin a second volume, less focused on the apocalyptic end of everything, and more interested in all the minor endings we face as we find out what life even is here in the rhizome. For now, though, I hope that you find this volume insightful, and that if you do not, that you at least find it entertaining. A final note to that end: While you can read this text linearly from front to back, I advise simply opening to any page and reading the first full entry there, and following the references and footnotes there listed. Across the long lawns below the central tower of the Last University, the grass defies itself. In the mind, a field is a million individual blades blending into one. But when Stars of the steppe arrive, they make mental category into physical reality, each blade blending with the next until the trembling, green pasture becomes blinding, fixed tract. But even this transformation, which spreads across the whole of one of the continent’s densest settlements, is minute against what occurs above. A distraught god once promised that he would do anything to hold back the Heat and the Dark. Now, he proves his intent, yet wonders to himself if he can be stopped; if, perhaps, eradication might be better. This week on Spring in Hieron: See Where You're Standing Taken all at once, the unearned length of my life, it is easy to call this unavoidable. After all, before I could hold a chalice, I could only drink with tooth and maw, my thirst unsated, as blood stained the ground. Before I could store unfinished thoughts on a shelf, I could only think in agitation, plans and ideas twirling forever, unending in my focus, lest they be lost to distraction. Before I could hold my love, I coveted raw connection, dreamed an I into being even as I was sent to destroy identity itself. And so, I suspect, as the world becomes more real, more permanent, as those I swore to protect suffer in their sacrifice, even as I too dissolve and join the new firmament, I will have no champions. It will be easy to make sense of my decision this way: ‘He was always a beast.’ But that would be wrong. Writing these words is a selfish act of guilty conscience, I know. And yet I write them, because I must, because in writing them I am convinced of what must be done. I will not steep to the vulgarity of cruel maths, a list of how many we’d already killed, or how vast the future I build might be. The suffering is real. The suffering is, after all, the motive. And so that should be first. When my father told me what had been done, to the man I’d pinned to the bottom of the world, I saw opportunity. With His final ploy undone, the well of divinity had quietly been unblocked. I needed no clever stratagem. My adversarial source could be held back in the old way, a new strata. And so I began my work, drawing in detail for the first time in ages a new world. The ink flowed fresh, no rust to knock away, no lack of new ideas. I was born to steal words, but I lived for writing them. And then, in that vile cavern, I learned that my dreams were too humble. The ease with which I did it. Hadrian loved her as dear a companion as I did my Wizard. Perhaps, as ours in wisdom kind, theirs in strength. Thoughtless. Grotesque. If anything slithered in the Advocate’s room, it was me. It was not only in what I did Death’s Servant, though, it was that I so easily broke a promise I made to my aunt, and hid my strength from her, as I once did, so long ago. That is when I knew. That is I felt it, in my wounds, and in my heart, and in whatever motivates the void in the deep core of every living being into glorious motion. That is when I knew that I had to bring into being a world of consequence, of possibilities irrevertible, each moment concentrated justice in its inability to be undone. No second chances. No erasure. No reconfiguration. Immanence alone. Of all the resources unique to the City of First Light, the Ordennan Impetus was most taken by the ancient city’s network of trains. The once-island nation was already familiar with the value of heavy logistics, and though the steam-powered trains of this new island were on tracks, it was not as if their own ships did not have to contend with the more organic rails of weather, wind, and current. As important, they knew first hand how disruptive it would be for a culture to lose control of its transportation system. Which is why they stormed the trains early in their invasion, and grew their occupation through railway terminals. And this is how Fela Malle found his way to the ancient home of Samothes. The same volcanic palace to which Adaire, Hadrian, Hella, Hadrian, and Throndir now enter, under stormswell skies.. This week on Spring in Hieron: Ingenuity and Love When those few who know it tell our story, they tell it wrong. They say that we squabbled for years because He told me that there was no solution for the Heat and the Dark. But my love knew me better than to put it in terms so brusque. He took my hands that afternoon, called me by the name Samol had given me, and shared his hopelessness in the only way he knew would not drive me from him immediately, with the technical mendacity of an engineer or a priest. “Samot, our stumbling block is not in finding a solution, it’s in determining the right problem to begin with. We’ve been trying to brighten the night when we should’ve been trying to find comfort in the dark.” Bad poetry for dressing His cowardice up as practical thinking. I hated it, and soon enough I hated you Him too. But years later, with my Wizard reduced to mere memory and the paladin’s heart clouded, I admit that I fell to despair much like my love’s. As the shell-sky ruptures under impossible heat and pressure, the citizens of the Last University face grim prospects. Beings of empty light tread over the familiar until it is unsafe, recasting the world around them in macro and micro, both. And above, a lord looms. Do they have any hope? Does anyone fight for them, still? Yes. This week on Spring in Hieron: Terrible and Necessary After too many years of loneliness and solitude, I believe even now that I was blessed by accord with two who moved in kindred ways. The paladin felt His warmth, even from the blade, and worked drunk in his faith as I once did. And in that we knew one another, though he knew (and knows still) so little. I was likely a fool for dreaming a solution through his hands. (Yet I am a dreamer, always.) The other knew me in a way only one so devoted to knowledge could. The old stories always missed this about me: I found myself alone in study as often, if not more, than among the carousing congregation. And so in the Wizard Fantasmo, I found someone who understood me. So fixed our bond, that I found the elf slipping into memories deeper and older than he could possibly be participant in. His brilliance made me wonder what might be, again. Old, smashed possibilities picked up like a shattered vase, laid out on cloth, the pieces all there, repair suddenly a possibility. And so I thought: Perhaps Fantasmo could do what I could do not. Perhaps he could retrieve my love from the Blade in the Dark. With the right forge, the right attendants, the right components… I still believe it, in truth. I know he could have. I know he could have brought me, brought us, Samothes again. But these are shadowed times, and in the unjust dark, the brilliant lights are the first to be snuffed out. And so, floating down the Archivist’s River towards the smogging skies of Malle’s Fist, a group of heroes intends to collect. This week on Spring in Hieron: Unfinished Work If only I had been more attentive during my arrival to the city all those years ago. Or if father would push past his obstinance and help me find it. Or if it had been delivered by fate into Hadrian’s hands instead of Eprhim’s. Perhaps a less ambitious violence would have brought a Spring more- No. It cannot be known. All that can be said with confidence is that of all my contingencies, the killing of my son, turned mocking mimicry of Him, by my erstwhile disciple is the one I least preferred. Victorious after their journey to the Mark of the Erasure, the leading members of the Last University find time to celebrate. But they know too well the danger of inaction, so while four of the group begin a journey south, to Malle’s Fist, the rest take the time to investigate the troubles that remain at home. Chief of all: The continued pressure put on the settlement by Alyosha’s Spring. But while Ephrim, Fero, and Lem may find some of the answers they seek, it is not long before they face a new, more imperative dilemma. This week on Spring in Hieron: The Variation of Natural Life I simply do not understand. Why would you ever build a wall from a material both capricious and ineffable? This would be like keeping a journal in a code you cannot read: Yes, the work has been done, technically. Weeks ago, the Advocate took flight its cradle hidden in the hills and trees. Its path north took it across places already devoured by the Heat and the Dark: Rosemerrow’s once Long Sands, the devastated woods between Old Man’s Chin and Twinbrook, across the ancient imperial highway south of Velas, and into the unmappable, frozen wastes of Auniq, deep within the Mark of Erasure. Where does a being unwilling to create go to roost? To a nest already made. The heart of the mark. Atop the fallen tower of Samot. Its hunger for destruction sated, in this brief moment, it rests. And they arrive. Today on Spring in Hieron: Particular Malice He has not faced anything quite like what you describe, no. But from what you have told me, your father seems an obstinate and foolhardy man.
