United States Senate candidate for Michigan, Mike Rogers, served in the United States House of Representatives from 2001 until 2015. In 2011, Mike was named Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. In 2012, just one year after assuming this role, Mike warned that Chinese technology companies Huawei and ZTE posed a national security threat. The Intelligence Committee's report concluded that these tech companies were serving as arms of the Chinese government, had stolen trade secrets from American corporations, and could potentially spy on American citizens. It's worth noting other findings remain classified out of national security concerns. What were these technology based threats and do they exist today? Is America prepared for an onslaught of international cyber attacks? How can U.S. ingenuity lead us towards victory in the world's AI war?In this insightful episode, host Marc interviews Senate candidate Mike Rogers to discuss various issues impacting American society today. They explore the significance of family as the foundation of society, Michigan families' economic struggles, and the critical state of public education. Rogers emphasizes the importance of helping individuals achieve literacy to empower themselves economically and socially. The conversation shifts to national security, diving into Rogers' investigations into Chinese tech companies' threats during his time as House Intelligence Committee Chair. The discussion also covers the current and future role of AI in cybersecurity, military applications, and the impact of overregulation on innovation. Two officers who defended the U.S. Capitol during the January 6th riots are campaigning for President Biden in Pennsylvania. Eighty years ago today during the D-Day invasion of Normandy, Lancaster County's Dick Winters led a group of paratroopers on an assault of four German artillery pieces near Utah Beach. There has been a lot of controversy - and lies - this week over the re-authorization of FISA (the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act). Rep. Crenshaw sat down with Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, a former FBI agent and member of House Intel, to debunk the hand wringing and misconceptions about FISA. They give an overview of FISA's history and its distinction between Title One and Title Three, and delve into the role of Section 702 in enhancing national security measures. Misconceptions surrounding FISA are addressed, including the distinction between evidence collection and querying lawfully obtained data. They scrutinize proposals for a secondary warrant requirement and their potential impact on law enforcement investigations. They also discuss limitations on law enforcement capabilities and proposed reforms to prevent abuses within intelligence agencies. For 14 years prior to representing his hometown of Pennsylvania's First Congressional District, Brian Fitzpatrick served our nation both as an FBI Special Agent and Federal Prosecutor, fighting both domestic and international political corruption, and supporting global counterterrorism and counterintelligence efforts – including being embedded with U.S. Special Forces as part Operation Iraqi Freedom. Washington Post Live anchor and co-author of the Early 202 newsletter Leigh Ann Caldwell speaks with House Intelligence Committee Chair Michael Turner (R-Ohio) and ranking Democrat Jim Himes (Conn.) about special counsel John Durham's recent report critical of the FBI, the report's recommendations and Durham's upcoming testimony before Congress. Conversation recorded on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Last week, former president Donald Trump's lawyers sent a letter to House Intel chairman, Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio). The letter is remarkable in many ways—yet the media has completely ignored it. Trump's lawyers are trying to get Turner and House Republicans to intervene in the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation, as well as to change the laws regarding how classified documents are handled by the executive branch. Remarkably, that's an indirect admission that Trump's Mar-a-Lago documents were, in fact, mishandled, a fact that is blamed in large part on the National Archives and Records Administration. The letter also describes Joe Biden's own document scandal, and gives us an initial in-depth account of events that led to the FBI's Mar-a-Lago raid on August 8th of last year. So what's the strategy here? Why is Trump's legal team making sudden admissions and trying to get Congress involved? We investigate. ⭕️ Watch in-depth videos based on Truth & Tradition at Epoch TV

With a new Republican majority in Congress comes a fresh set of priorities — as many House committees prepare to conduct investigations on Capitol Hill. One GOP priority is learning more about the classified documents found in President Biden's possession, as news that the President may have obtained documents during his time in the Senate seems “incomprehensible” to many lawmakers. Additionally, as the war in Ukraine rages on, ensuring Ukrainians receive sufficient aid and that the US keeps a close eye on potential threats from Russia and China remains a top concern. Congressman Mike Turner (R-OH), who is now the Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, joins the Rundown to discuss why he is "completely taken aback" by how President Biden possessed classified documents from before his vice presidency, how he believes the Russia-Ukraine war could impact a potential conflict between China and Taiwan, and what his key concerns are as the leader of the House Intelligence Committee. There is growing concern over artificial intelligence computer programs, like ChatGPT, that are capable of writing human-like answers to questions or even composing essays and speeches. For example, educators have warned that students are already using the AI-based ‘chatbots' to cheat. Lawmakers, fearing where the technology could go, are already considering regulations. However, some tech experts are downplaying the negative impact it could have. Kurt "CyberGuy" Knutsson explains why programs like ChatGPT are becoming so popular … and controversial. He also explains what AI programs may be capable of in the future. Plus, commentary by host of ‘The Janice Dean Podcast' and FOX News Senior Meteorologist, Janice Dean. New House Intelligence Member Austin Scott discusses the partisan games being played over the upcoming debt ceiling and calls for national security assessment on the damage that has resulted from the finding of President Biden classified documents in a number of locations. The Georgia Congressman remarks, the “Biden documents were in an area where other people clearly had access to them, and I also have serious questions about the amount of wealth that the Biden family has.” Saying, with Biden's year of political service, “I just don't see how you accumulate that much making $175,000 a year, I guess he made a little more as vice president, maybe $300,000 a year, but I don't see how you accumulate that type of wealth that he has with those income levels. And so aside from that, I would tell you if it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander. It's not okay that documents were found in possession of Republicans either, and I think that we're going to have to do a very serious review of how classified documents are handled in the executive branch.”See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Congressman Brad Wenstrup, member of the House Intel Committee joins us to assess their probes into China and the Chinese communist party. One area in particular is the CCP's handling of the virus and interest in bioweapons. Over twenty members of the house GOP have called for the impeachment of current DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas and the Biden administration are reacting to the calls for change, but Title 42 is set to expire, which could see illegal immigration on the southern border surge even more. Congressman Michael Cloud represents a district in the border state of Texas, and we asked him what is exactly it is that he thinks justifies impeaching DHS Secretary Mayorkas.
Congressman Michael Turner shares everything you need to know about the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act): what it is and why we need it, the House and Senate processes to pass the final version, how Democrats try to hijack it with non-defense projects, and addressing criticisms of the NDAA from the far right. Since the NDAA has broad implications for the war in Ukraine and another controversial topic — our Military Industrial Base — we get into a discussion about those too. Michael also talks about the changes we can expect on House Intel when Adam Schiff loses the chairmanship on January 3rd. Michael Turner has served as the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 10th Congressional District since 2002. He is the lead Republican on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and also serves on the House Armed Services Committee. Follow him on Twitter and Instagram at @repmiketurner.

(If you haven't caught that one yet, make sure to go back later, I've got it conveniently linked up for you here.)I've been wanting to bring Briana back because: A) she and Cambyr were good to their word and did a Camino de Santiago trek this summer that I have been FOMO-ing for months; andB) I wanted to have an excuse to visit her floating tiny home, now that we're all vaxxed up and before the weather got too cold to risk a Merrimack River paddle in my janky old Loon.I'm still not sure it was the smartest move to be paddling out to visit her in the dark, which I wound up having to do, and I'm still going to have to go back during the day to appreciate the tiny completely, since Briana was having issues with her solar battery and only one party light that rotated between fuschia, blue and green was working while we chatted…. But since I talk a big game about everyone else getting wild, when the opportunity presented itself, I went for it!As you might remember from the first episode we did, Briana is a whirlwind of energy on her down days, so you won't be surprised by the enthusiasm she brought to a conversation about some of her recent favorite things. Prosecutors in the Trump administration Justice Department subpoenaed Apple for data from the accounts of House Intelligence Committee Democrats -- including Chairman Adam Schiff -- along with their staff and family members as part of a leak investigation, an Intelligence Committee official and a source familiar with the matter confirmed to CNN. The prosecutors, the New York Times first reported, were looking for the sources behind news stories about contacts between Russia and Trump associates. Those subject to subpoenas were notified in May by Apple that the Justice Department had issued grand jury subpoenas in February 2018 for their information, the House Intel committee official said.To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy

In his first extended interview since leaving government, Patel tells Aaron Maté that still-classified documents expose more malpractice, as well as major evidentiary holes in the pivotal -- and largely unquestioned -- claims of a sweeping Russian interference campaign to elect Trump in 2016. According to Patel, the release of these critical documents was "continuously impeded." "I think there were people at the heads of certain intelligence agencies who did not want their tradecraft called out, even though it was during a former administration, because it doesn't look good on the agency itself," Patel says. Among the tradecraft that Patel criticizes is the hastily produced and highly consequential "Intelligence Community Assessment" of January 2017, as well as the FBI's reliance on Crowdstrike -- the DNC contractor that generated the Russian hacking allegations despite later admitting, behind closed doors, that it lacked concrete evidence. Patel also discusses other aspects of his time in the Trump White House: a secret mission to Syria; Trump's record on foreign wars; and the January 6th riot at the Capitol. Guest: Kash Patel. Former senior government official in the Trump administration, where he served as senior director for counterterrorism at the National Security Council, and chief of staff to the acting Secretary of Defense. Previously, Patel served as a top investigator on the GOP-led House Intelligence Committee, where he was instrumental in exposing US intelligence misconduct in the Trump-Russia investigation. Eric Swalwell from the Intelligence Committee after his connection to a suspected Chinese spy was revealed. “Because of Rep. Swalwell’s position on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, his close interactions with Chinese intelligence services, however unintentional they may be, are an unacceptable national security risk,” reads the letter signed by 17 GOP lawmakers and obtained by Fox News.

Guest: Aaron Maté. Key allegations from the Russiagate conspiracy have now officially collapsed with the release of transcripts from witness interviews that were conducted over the past three years. Now the walls are truly closing in and not in the way the Trump-Russia obsessed media presented it in the past. Key Obama administration officials, under oath, said they had no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Perhaps the biggest blow was delivered by Crowdstrike, the private cybersecurity firm that served as a critical source on the Russian hacking claim. We now know that Crowdstrike’s president told Congress more than two years ago that it had no real evidence that Russian hackers exfiltrated emails and passed them to Wikileaks. Aaron notes, in an understated manner, that this “raises new questions about whether Special Counsel Robert Mueller, intelligence officials and Democrats misled the public.” At the end of the interview, there’s an extra/bonus segment for patrons on the question of which forces were driving the Russiagate conspiracy. Monday, December 16: Dr. Corsi reported that the Horowitz Report makes clear the DOJ and FBI engaged in fraudulent activity to obtain FISA Court approval to conduct electronic surveillance on Carter Page. The report lists 17 specific "inaccuracies and omissions" in the FISA applications. The Mueller Report produced no indictments for Russia Collusion. But the statements issued by Attorney General Barr and U.S. Attorney Durham immediately after the Horowitz Report was issued strongly suggest indictments are coming for top officials in the DOJ, the FBI, and possibly the CIA. On Tuesday, December 17: Dr Corsi recorded a DECODE, reporting that the Democrats were whipping enough votes to impeach Trump. McConnell in Senate rejected Schumer's plea to add witnesses in Senate trial. Looks like a motion to dismiss may wrap up the Senate trial fast. Meanwhile, new evidence being developed by Rudy Guiliani adds growing pressure to investigate Biden family corruption in Ukraine. Then on Wednesday, December 18: Dr. Corsi reported that the House of Representatives voted articles of impeachment to the Senate. The American people have soured on this no evidence, no crime, no due process Stalin Trial conducted by Schiff and Nadler in the House Intel and House Justice Committees. The FISA Court has sent a letter to the FBI addressing the abuses in the FBI Russia Collusion investigation, Crossfire Hurricane, as identified by the Horowitz Report made public Dec. 9.. Then on Thursday, December 19: Dr Corsi reported that Radical leftist Harvard Professor of Constitutional Law has plotted a LAWFARE strategy for Pelosi to delay sending articles of impeachment to Senate in order to strengthen Sen. Schumer's hand in negotiating with Majority Leader McConnell and as a last resort to avoid a trial that would acquit Trump in the Senate. Hate-Trump Democrats willing to settle with adding an asterisk "*Impeached" to Trump's name. Meanwhile, information continues to surface from Ukraine that documents Obama/Hillary/Biden/Soros/State Department plan to push Ukraine into the EU and NATO, to antagonize Russia, while allowing Soros/Biden/Clinton mafia to steal billions of dollars from USAID and IMF, while demanding hush payments from corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs. Friday, December 20: Craig - Shine Light on Darkness: Reported that Pelosi's Damn the Constitution, impeachment full speed ahead strategy an epic fail, replaced by radical Laurence Tribe's tactic to just hide the articles in a lock box will fail as well. Devin Nunes and the GOP minority staff on the House Intelligence Committee have issued a 110-page report on the Democrats' impeachment charges. The GOP report is a detailed and convincing refutation of the allegations against President Trump involving Ukraine. Rep. Adam Schiff failed to move public opinion in favor of impeachment after two weeks of public televised testimony. What the American public saw was that the Democrats' case was built largely on hearsay testimony, consisting of policy differences on Ukraine expressed by State Department bureaucrats (without Article 2 authority over U.S. foreign policy) who wanted to move Ukraine into the EU and NATO so as to perpetuate a Cold War 2.0 with Russia.
Kamala Harris, who climbed almost every wrung of political power here in California, who burst onto the Democratic presidential primary scene with a huge rally packing the streets of Oakland and who fearlessly took on Joe Biden in the first debate--today California's junior senator dropped out of the primary race. How did a candidate who once seemed so promising and formidable sink so fast? The impeachment inquiry report shows, from the perspective of Democrats on the House Intelligence Community, a coordinated effort by President Trump and his allies to use taxpayer-funded foreign aid to Ukraine to squeeze that country's government to investigate Joe Biden. After the 2018-midterms, Schiff, Nadler, and Pelosi launched the Ukraine/NSC angle for impeachment with the help of hard-left Lawfare, to double-track with Mueller investigation. Chuck Schumer appears to have let slip what Democrats' next play will be as he demanded that the Whistleblower's complaint still be released (which inevitably is a partisan document), claiming that the Trump call transcript "is insufficient." That would appear to be an entirely defenseless position to take (as the source did not actually hear the complaint or read the transcript), but they have to keep the suspicion alive. Additionally, Rep. Adam Schiff says the whistleblower wants to speak to his House Intel committee, and testimony may happen this week.
