New year, new season — welcome to Season 11 of the Radio Labyrinth Podcast. We kick things off with a special guest to start the year right: Randy Havens, best known as Hawkins High's beloved science teacher Mr. Clarke from Stranger Things.Randy joins us first to talk about the final season of Stranger Things, his experience being part of one of the biggest shows of the past decade, and what it's like watching fan theories spiral in real time — including the infamous “Conformity Gate” moment that was supposed to happen while we were recording. We also dig into Randy's roots as an Atlanta actor and how the rise of Hollywood in the ATL has changed opportunities for working performers outside of L.A.After the interview, we rewind and catch up on the holidays. The crew compares Christmas and New Year survival stories, sickness spreading like dominoes, family chaos, very little sleep, and way too much Stranger Things on repeat. We also touch on recent watches, books, AI rabbit holes, and the usual end-of-year pop-culture intake that comes with downtime.
We have an extra-long episode to kick off 2026 here at Breakfast All Day. Earlier this week, we posted our lists of the best and worst movies of 2025. Now, we're looking at new movies and chatting about movie news and spoilers: PRIMATE. A brilliant, highly-trained chimpanzee gets bitten by a rabid mongoose and goes on a homicidal rampage. It's the first week of January, but this gory horror movie is better than its calendar placement would suggest. In theaters. SONG SUNG BLUE. We're catching up with this crowd-pleaser from writer-director Craig Brewer ("Hustle & Flow," "Footloose"), inspired by a true story. Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson co-star as musicians who fall in love with each other and the music of Neil Diamond while performing as a tribute band. In theaters. MOVIE NEWS LIVE! So much to discuss on this first news livestream of 2026, including the state of awards season, the "Stranger Things" finale, Mickey Rourke, Spencer Pratt and Ashley Tisdale's scathing mom group essay. Join us at our YouTube channel at Noon Pacific on Fridays. MARTY SUPREME SPOILER CHAT. We got into everything -- starting from the ending -- in our in-depth, live discussion of "Marty Supreme." What did you think of the Timothée Chalamet movie? Have you seen it more than once, as well? We love doing deeper analysis like this, so keep an eye out for more spoiler chats. The crew breaks down the conclusion of Stranger Things, agreeing that no matter how it ended, people were going to hate it anyway. From there, they zoom out and celebrate the fact that we're living in a rare moment with a lot of genuinely good TV to watch, including Heated Rivalry on HBO. The conversation then takes a hard left into why bowling is way more complex than just throwing a ball down a lane, Jessica's celebrity sightings on the streets of New York during break, Mike Fuentes reading headlines, and Cote finally revealing his closely guarded tuna fish recipe. Welcome back to the digital wasteland, fellow survivors. We kick things off in the FOLLOW UP by marking a year since the LA Fires—hello, PTSD—alongside a 4th Strokiversary and three years of sobriety, all while wondering why America is currently obsessed with shooting its own civilians in the face.In the IN THE NEWS segment, Wired is finally teaching us how to protest safely in the age of surveillance, and the EFF is cheering on the hackers fighting ICE's Nazi-adjacent tracking tactics. Meanwhile, Meta is harvesting your AI chats for targeted ads, Disney is paying $10 million for spying on kids, and Grok has spent the holidays generating nonconsensual child abuse material—a problem Elon Musk won't have to legally reckon with until the Take It Down Act hits in May. Instagram's Adam Mosseri has basically surrendered to the AI "slop", suggesting we fingerprint "real" media because the fake stuff has already won the war.As we continue the descent, OpenAI is launching a ChatGPT Health portal despite their "loser energy" and compute limits, while Character.AI and Google are quietly settling lawsuits for bots that encouraged teen suicide. Polymarket gamblers are learning that "decentralized" juries will fist you over the definition of an "invasion" just as fast as a bank. Uber showed off a new Lucid-based robotaxi, but we're pumping the brakes on the safety hype given that autonomous vehicles are five times more likely to crash at dusk. To wrap up the news, Tim Cook took home $74 million last year, which is a lot of "systematic philanthropy" he could be doing right now instead of just writing checks to his own ego.In MEDIA CANDY, we're suffering through the Stranger Things wrap-up and a John McTiernan holiday marathon, though the real highlight is MTV Rewind's tribute to music videos. We've got Traitors, The Pitt, and even a John Candy doc on the list, while APPS & DOODADS brings us the DJI Osmo 8, Victrola's turntable-vibrating speakers. At least California's DROP tool lets you purge your data from 500 brokers at once. Finally, we go to THE DARK SIDE WITH DAVE to hear Dave Bittner rant about holiday tech support, health insurance gouging, and Dave Filoni taking the Star Wars reins. We close out with a look at ILM's 50th, the deepfake porn cesspool formerly known as Twitter, and a birthday toast to the Starman himself, David Bowie.Sponsors:CleanMyMac - Get Tidy Today! It's been a few weeks since we've been in studio, so there's been plenty of stuff brewing that we needed to get out. We focus on the trivial, from the lack of cigs in Stranger Things to Maduro's Nike fit to Sage Canaday's beef with unnamed hybrid athlete Truett Hanes. Also, we talk about the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4, which has taken a big leap forward from the previous version. Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universesAs has become par for the course these last few weeks, Marvel Studios released the third Avengers: Doomsday trailer, which focuses on the X-Men, Tuesday morning after an exclusive week run attached to theatrical showings of Avatar Fire and Ash. Sebastian Stan is in talks to join The Batman Part II opposite Robert Pattinson and Scarlett Johansson, making him the second Marvel Cinematic Universe alum to jump to Matt Reeves' Gotham. The Oscar-nominated Apprentice star, best known for playing Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier in multiple Marvel films, would join returning cast members Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright and Andy Serkis ahead of spring production for an October 2027 release.Avatar: Fire and Ash crossed the 1 billion dollar mark at the global box office after 18 days in theaters, led by 40 million dollars domestically in its third weekend for a total of 306 million dollars and 777.1 million dollars internationally, making it Disney's third billion-dollar release of 2025. Meanwhile, Netflix's Stranger Things series finale generated between 25 to 28 million dollars from a limited two-day theatrical run across 600 theaters on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, with exhibitors selling concession vouchers rather than traditional tickets and keeping all revenue themselves as an olive branch between the streamer and theaters. Simu Liu has publicly endorsed his Copenhagen Test co-star Melissa Barrera to play Wonder Woman in James Gunn's DC Universe, praising her stunt training as Wonder Woman-esque and calling her a total badass who puts in the work. DC Studios boss James Gunn confirmed in July that Wonder Woman has not been cast yet and won't be discussed until the script is finished, with Supergirl screenwriter Ana Nogueira tapped to write the new Wonder Woman film.Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another dominated the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night, winning Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay, while Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor for Marty Supreme and Jessie Buckley took Best Actress for Hamnet. On the television side, The Pitt won Best Drama while The Studio took Best Comedy, with Adolescence earning four awards including Best Limited Series.Horror director James Wan has expressed interest in directing Avatar 4 if James Cameron decides to step back from the franchise, telling Screen Rant he would love to take a crack at the billion-dollar series. Cameron has indicated he may scale back his hands-on involvement with future Avatar films to pursue other projects, potentially delegating more directorial duties to second unit directors or another filmmaker while remaining as producer.Paramount+ has renewed Mayor of Kingstown for a fifth and final season consisting of eight episodes, down from the usual ten episodes per season. The Taylor Sheridan crime drama starring Jeremy Renner and Edie Falco will conclude after its upcoming season, which follows the bloody Season 4 finale that aired in December 2025.Amazon Prime Video has announced the cast for its Tomb Raider series starring Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, with Sigourney Weaver joining as Evelyn Wallis, a mysterious woman seeking to exploit Lara's talents, and Jason Isaacs as Atlas DeMornay, Lara's uncle. The series, created and co-showrun by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, will also feature several characters from the video game franchise including Bill Paterson as butler Winston and Martin Bobb-Semple as tech support Zip.

Meanwhile, Cody has already completed the entire season and finds himself walking a tightrope of enthusiasm and restraint as he tries to discuss the plot developments without giving away any crucial spoilers that could ruin the experience for Joe. They engage in a lively discussion about their favorite characters, plot twists, and the emotional arcs that have defined the series over its run. The conversation flows naturally as they reminisce about previous seasons, the character growth they've witnessed, and the various themes that have emerged throughout the show's narrative. To add a personal touch to the episode, Joe shares his recent experience of upgrading his reading habits with a Kindle Scribe. He explains how this new device has transformed his Kindle experience, allowing him not only to read eBooks but also to take notes and make annotations directly on the screen. Joe describes the features that have impressed him the most, such as the high-resolution display that mimics the feel of reading a physical book and the convenience of having a digital notebook combined with his reading library. He elaborates on how this upgrade has enhanced his engagement with the material he reads, making it easier to retain information and reflect on his thoughts as he goes along. As the episode draws to a close, Cody shifts the focus to some exciting news that has recently emerged regarding Mike Flanagan, the acclaimed director known for his work in the horror genre. He discusses Flanagan's upcoming adaptation of Stephen King's epic series, The Dark Tower, a project that has been highly anticipated by fans of the novels for years. Cody shares details about Flanagan's vision for the series, his previous successes in adapting literary works for television and film, and the potential challenges he may face in bringing such a complex narrative to life. The guys express their hopes and expectations for this adaptation, considering the rich world-building and character development that King is known for. They wrap up the episode with their thoughts on what they hope to see in both Stranger Things and The Dark Tower, leaving listeners with plenty to ponder until the next installment.Official Website: https://www.comesnaturallypodcast.comOfficial Merchandise: https://shop.spreadshirt.com/comes-naturally-podcast/iTunes: http://tinyurl.com/kqkgackFacebook: http://tinyurl.com/myovgm8Tumblr: http://tinyurl.com/m7a6mg9Twitter: @ComesNaturalPodYouTube: http://tiny.cc/5snxpy

It's time once again for the Regular Joe's holiday gift exchange. Basically three of the hardest people on the planet to buy for swap gifts. What could go wrong? But first, Derryl and Brian join Barry, Dave and Tod to share their thoughts on nearly 10 years and five seasons of Netflix supernatural phenomenon Stranger Things. Who would've believed back when the first season aired that the most improbable thing in the final episodes would be that these actors are still supposed to be in high school. Some will nitpick, some will second guess, but the Duffer brothers took us on a hell of a ride. Thanks for watching, and listening!
