Send me a DM! ILY All!Today I am honored to introduce you all to: United States Military MILAB abductee and victim, experiencer, contactee, targeted individual, mind control and human experimentation survivor and whistleblower, humanitarian, host of his own YouTube channel and podcast, wood worker, auto restoration extraordinaire, nature lover, political activism advocate, gardener, and disclosure activist: Nathan CiszekNathan's story begins at age 6 when he was first abducted by extraterrestrials that forced him to participate in joint clandestine Draco ET and United States military programs such as Project Surrogate, Project Alpha, and Project Ibis. His experiences and memories of being in these programs involve his soul fracturing, cloning, being abducted across two lifetimes, and his fragmented consciousness being transferred into clone bodies that were used in these joint ET and US Military programs. Nathan has also experienced psychic abuse in where he was used for his gifts AND manipulated because of them. Under the Ibis program Nathan was subconsciously programmed to join an online Satanic cult that utilizes DARPA remote mind control technology to simulate contact with pagan gods and spirits in a social experiment designed to suppress and control the minds of targeted MILAB victims. This led to his discovery that a private corporate consortium of companies buried within the military industrial complex were using remote mind control and MILAB victims conditioned to be social implants to create DARPA Virtual Temple Complex cults. These cults and belief systems are being used for social engineering and control over targeted portions of the human population for the preservation of the continuity of an emerging technocratic world police state that is a proxy system of control by a negative extraterrestrial and ultra-dimensional force.Nathan has turned to being a public whistleblower and activist - which has come with sacrifices, costs, and the same censorship and alienation that we see consistent with other whistleblowers who share the hardest truths in the world that no one knows about. Nathan also suffers from destabilizing and chronic health issues related to the abuse he suffered at the hands of negative entities and the US government. In Nathan's own words:‘Some of the strongest people in the world are people who are targeted like this because the ones who can withstand it have been through hell and are out doing something in an altruistic way to help others. We are the ones who take the crap. We are the poster children for mental insanity; the people who should be shadow banned and shut up. And I'm tired of it. I really am. I'm sick of it. And I speak for everyone who's going through this.'Nathan began a YouTube channel called @haujeancontactee and a Telegram channel called “The Planetary Consciousness Project” to help spread awareness of this global victimization and targeting happening to innocent humans, as well as helped create ‘The Voices of Orion Project' with other contactees - which is a grassroots disclosure project aimed at exposing the new age ET deception, and the negative extraterrestrial presence that has hijacked the planet and enslaved the human race as their part of a collective effort to facilitate The Great Awakening, and the end of the spiritual bondage that has abused and exploited the human race, and hijacked their destiny against the will of our creator. First, Ben discusses his recent excursion to a folklore conference, where he touched a plague box and went spelunking in the Devil's Ass, then Celestia pays tribute to Las Vegas eccentric Lonnie Hammargren. For our main segment we are joined by mentalist Banachek, who (like many skeptics this week) has some thoughts on a recent New York Times piece that gives a bit too much credit to a perpetually discredited spoon-bender in the magic world. This recent writeup brings many topics to the table, such as the role Randi's showmanship and ability to garner publicity played in forming the modern skeptical movement. Banachek also shares some details about his early life and what led him to magic, and to a strange wizard's home -- that is, James Randi's door -- at the age of 17.
It's the ALPHA of all episodes, the final EP of Season 3, and definitely the most fun you'll have all week. We're getting to know the winners of Project Alpha - our favorite competition show of the year - a.k.a. the members of GMMTV's newest boyband, LYKN. In this episode, Perry Carpenter sits down with renowned mentalist and skeptic, Banachek. Banachek (Steve Shaw) grew up with a fascination in magic and a frustration with psychic frauds. As a teenager, he contacted magician and skeptic, James “The Amazing” Randi and ended up working with Randi on a special initiative known as Project Alpha, which set out to expose a general lack of objectivity in parapsychology research. Banachek served as the director for the James Randi Educational Foundation's “One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge” for 15 years and is now the President of the James Randi Educational Foundation. Perry and Banachek discuss Project Alpha, the ways of fake psychics and fraudulent faith healers, and issues associated with confirmation bias and framing effects. They also discuss Banachek's new live mentalism show in Las Vegas, which incorporates theatrical mindreading and other mentalism effects along with a storyline that explores Banachek's life, antics, and passion for critical thinking. A funny thing happened as we finished our season. We asked for listeners to unearth an old podcast WGC co-creator Justin Robert Young did with James Randi and it was indeed found. But one episode surprised us... James Randi in his own words describing Project Alpha in 2008. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Sometimes when you tell a story, you change it. We have an update on one of the central figures in Project Alpha. Brian Brushwood reads your emails and feedback including questions about James Randi and a moment when William Shatner blessed the podcast with an epic rendition of our title. Hosted on Acast. At a 1983 press conference in New York City, the entire charade is revealed. It's recorded for a prime time NBC special set to air two weeks later. We unpack 40 years of consequences from the triumph and betrayal of Project Alpha. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The boys are a team, they've been fooling the Mac Lab for over a year but what comes next? Fame and fortune for the Project Alpha team, hopefully. Yet, that means total humiliation for the professors and researchers Mike and Steve have come to know and appreciate. It all comes to a head at a conference in Madison, Wisconsin where the boys have to witness a truly disturbing consequence to their deception. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Two boys demonstrate genuine psychic powers in a rigorous academic study in the late 1970s. When the results are revealed, the academics will be at the center of a new field of science coveted by governments, military and Hollywood. The only problem? The boys are frauds, out to debunk the very concept of parapsychology. For the first time ever, World's Greatest Con interviews the two boys, now men, at the center of the public embarrassment of a study funded for $4 million in today's money. You may have heard of it, you might even think you know the story but this season everyone will know the truth of Project Alpha. It all begins, April 10th. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Beginning in 1975 New Jersey State Trooper Bob Delaney went undercover to infiltrated the Genovese, Bruno and DiNorscio Crime families. Knowing all the while that a single slip could get him killed. Ultimately gathering enough evidence to convict 30 members of the Bruno, DiNorsico and Genovese crime families, Project Alpha was a success, but Delaney struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder and traces of Stockholm syndrome after getting too close to those he investigated. In this third part of this podcast with Bob Delaney, he talks openly and honestly about his PTSD and the great work he is doing to help military, first responder and health care professionals. We talk about his book ‘Surviving the Shadows' that is an uplifting journey through powerful and inspiring stories―marked by perseverance and personal courage―about an array of people who have suffered directly or indirectly from Post-Traumatic Stress. Delaney introduces you to medical experts who have developed groundbreaking methods in dealing with the disorder, and profiles one-of-a-kind programs around the country devoted to assisting PTSD sufferers. We also talk about Bob's soon to be released book, ‘Heroes are Human' - Lessons in Resilience, Courage and Wisdom from the COVID Front Lines. This book is a must-read for health care workers who have been besieged by the ongoing pandemic, for those who love them, and for any reader wanting to gain a deeper understanding of their immense sacrifices and struggles. Heroes are Human also offers invaluable self-care insights in the face of trauma and gripping first-hand accounts by those thrust into the depths of the crisis. Bob Delaney is a former undercover New Jersey state trooper and professional basketball referee in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Bob is a 1985 graduate of New Jersey City University with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology. After finishing college, Delaney joined the New Jersey State Police. During the mid-1970s, Delaney worked as an undercover officer as part of an operation known as "Project Alpha". His book ‘Covert', is a riveting page-turner, NBA referee Bob Delaney reveals the clandestine life he led before becoming one of professional basketball's most respected referees. In 1975, Delaney had spent only a year and a half as a New Jersey State Trooper when his superiors approached him with a tantalizing yet dangerous undercover assignment: to infiltrate the Mob. Delaney accepted, and became Bobby Covert, the president of Alamo Trucking, a fully-operational business used by law enforcement as flypaper for snagging crooks. At the height of The Godfather era, Delaney wore a wire and lived among wiseguys who modeled themselves on their on-screen counterparts, quoting lines from “The Movie” and boasting of how often they'd seen it. Delaney even crossed paths with Joe Pistone, the real-life Donnie Brasco (though neither knew the other was undercover), knowing all the while that a single slip could get him killed. Ultimately gathering enough evidence to convict 30 members of the Genovese , Bruno and DiNorscio Crime Families. Project Alpha was a success, but Delaney struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder and traces of Stockholm syndrome after getting too close to those he investigated. Therapy helped him come to terms with all he'd endured during his three tense years undercover, and, once a college basketball star, Delaney began officiating high school and intramural games as a way to rebuild his life—eventually working his way up to the NBA, where he has been a referee for more than two decades. “Covert” is available at: amazon.com To learn about Bob Delaney's work and order is books: delaneyconsultants.com

In the fourth episode of Iran Watch Listen, we sit down with Neil Watts, who served for five years as the Maritime Expert on the United Nations Panel of Experts on North Korea. We discuss missile and arms-related cooperation between Iran and North Korea and how such collaboration has evolved over time, from the transfer of complete systems to the sharing of test data and technical expertise. Neil describes the "close working relationship" between Iran and North Korea on ballistic missile development, notably "leapfrog technologies" from North Korea that have allowed Iran to qualitatively increase its ballistic missile capabilities. Our discussion also covers sanctions evasion methods used by Iran and North Korea, including ship-to-ship transfers, transshipment, splitting shipments among multiple containers and vessels, and hiding illicit items in bulk cargo. The conversation took place on September 8 and was hosted by Valerie Lincy, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control, and Treston Chandler, a Senior Research Associate at the Wisconsin Project. Expert Bio Neil Watts is a Senior Contributor at Compliance and Capacity Skills International and a Senior Research Associate at Kings College's Project Alpha. He served as the Maritime Expert on the United Nations Panel of Experts for North Korea from 2013 through 2018, where he investigated sanctions evasion and North Korea's sea-launched ballistic missile program. Neil had the unique opportunity during his service on the Panel to board and inspect several interdicted North Korean-flagged or controlled vessels, including the Chong Chon Gang, which was caught ferrying arms from Cuba to North Korea for repairs. He also served in the South African Navy for over 30 years, specializing in surface warfare and weapons systems. Neil has conducted extensive training for government and industry on sanctions, best practices, and due diligence and advises on maritime security. My guest on this episode of the Magic Newswire's "Spirit of Magic" podcast is more than just an amazing performer, he's a respected thinker and creator in the art of magic and mentalism. Banachek was also a part of the now famous Project Alpha hoax in which he convinced scientists from Washington University that he was actually demonstrating paranormal abilities. Banachek is now a sought after consultant and performer who has worked with such performers as Criss Angel and Penn & Teller to develop material for their acts. Join us in this episode as we talk about his notorious history in the art and the 75th Anniversary of the Jinx released by Genii Magazine in October.

Alpha Universe editor Christopher Robinson connects with travel writer and photographer turned macro world shooter, Erin Sullivan (@erinoutdoors). In Tech Talk, we’ll go through of the best camera settings for macro photography. And we get some Do This Now tips from Erin Sullivan for anyone looking to create their own macro world in quarantine. Erin Sullivan is frequently on the move. When the coronavirus lockdowns started in March and travel became impossible, she got creative and brought the outdoors indoors. Erin purchased some HO- and N-scale model railroad figures and, within the confines of her apartment, she started to craft macro scenes. Through her macro lens, Erin created places where she could let her mind wander and explore. Through the hashtag #ourgreatindoors she invited her community and the whole world to come along on a journey during quarantine. The idea has caught on in a big way and Erin has been featured on television, online and in print. We spoke from our respective coronavirus home offices over Skype. In 1979, two high school kids claiming to be psychic managed to fool parapsychology researchers at Washington University using simple magic tricks and sleight of hand. Little did the scientists know, these kids were just amateur magicians pulling a fast one on them. Today, these kids are grown. Their names are Steve Shaw, who now goes by the stage name Banachek, and Mike Edwards. But back in 1979, they were seen as boys with exceptional abilities. They were planted in the parapsychology research study by the magician and skeptic James Randi. They coined this stunt Project Alpha. The parapsychology lab at Washington State University was called the McDonnell Laboratory for Psychical Research. The lab ran a long series of experiments ranging from moving objects in sealed glass domes to controlling clocks and creating images appear on unexposed film. Banacheck and Edwards say they received no training from James Randi. They had to rely on their instincts and come up with illusions on the fly. During their time at the McDonnell research institute, they followed one rule—always tell the truth if you’re ever asked whether they were faking the results. They kept this ruse going for almost three years. This is part of my series on Psychics. Part 1 features my conversation with Uri Geller. ------------- Links EXPLORATORY RESEARCH WITH TWO NEW PSYCHIC METAL BENDERS Transcribed from Research in Parapsychology (1981), pp. 144-146 Peter R. The 1984 comedy classic Ghostbusters opens with a scene featuring Bill Murray's character, Peter Venkeman, conducting an experiment to test psychic powers at New York's Columbia University. While this scene is played for laughs, it holds a factual background, as the CIA began experimenting with psychic warfare and espionage techniques through the Stargate Project beginning in the early 1970's at Stanford University. Stanford University and the Central Intelligence Agency would not be the only ones to investigate and test the realms of the human mind and the paranormal, as their inspiration stemmed from the Cold War and Russia's attempts to develop psychic spies. Even members of the private sector would find themselves involved in the testing of PSI powers, as can be seen in the experiments that began in 1979 at St. Louis' Washington University. Join us as we look at psychic shenanigans, telekinetic testings, and how these supernatural superpowers are a part of… the Show-Me. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-show-me-podcast/message
It's not unusual when people think of Non Player Characters (NPCs), they think of a generic character like a merchant with a script of a few repeated lines in a video game. But in LARP, while an NPC merchant needs to sell their wares, they may choose who to sell it to, what price, or even entertain a bargain because they are STILL a character. For this podcast, Kai and Ryan speak with Brian Richardson, Director of the LARP "Last Frontier," Noxweiler Berf and Fabienne Miskelly, who both serve as Story Advocates for the LARP "Twin Mask." We talk about the use of NPCs by LARP storytellers, how playing an NPC allows some players to try different things they aren't able to do as a PC, and their favorite NPCs and NPC moments. Noxweiler Ignatius Berf was raised by wolves in the far reaches of the wild lands beyond The Wall. Classically trained in circus arts, puppetry, make-believe, and sleight of hand, his work as an artist and general ne’er-do-well can be found in various locations around Los Angeles. He is a player advocate for Twin Mask, a plot member for Undying, and producer of the Dungeon Master stage show. You can find him on The Painters Guild on Geek and Sundry and see his work on various properties on the Project Alpha channel. He also hosts a variety of content on Twitch.tv/goblincavalcade and can be seen on Anesidora on Maze Arcana with Ryan Omega! He is the creator of Boogah Badtongue and isn’t sorry about it. Fabienne Miskelly is a player advocate at Twin Mask. She has a BFA in Performing Arts, with experience in performing, but also in technical aspects like stage combat, prop and scenic design, as well as managing theater company’s. You can find her performing in the improv show “Dungeon Master” in Los Angeles, on the Twitch Channel “Goblin Cavalcade”, and everywhere @MagicalGirlFab.Brian Richardson is the co-creator of Last Frontier, a space-western mining town LARP in Southern California, and an equipment design engineer for a major medical device manufacturer. He has previously worked as a Marshal and Storyteller for Dystopia Rising SoCal.

In the late 1970s parapsychology was in full swing. Scientists sought to prove ESP, telekinesis, and many other psychic phenomena. James Randi, Steve Shaw, and Michael Edwards sought out to prove that magicians and illusionists needed to be on hand to make sure that even scientists couldn't be duped by psychics. Project Alpha is their story about a long con in which they duped scientists for more than 21 months into thinking that they were genuine psychics. || More Human Echoes stuff: http://humanechoes.com || Become a member for BONUS PODCASTS: http://bit.ly/1NkSWnQ || Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/HumanEchoes Bad Ideas Podcast on iTunes: http://apple.co/2yrDfyx Buy some T-shirts: http://bit.ly/1NetNNP Follow us on Mixer for all of our live streams: https://Mixer.com/HumanEchoes Listen to Bad Ideas: https://youtu.be/8RDb6jlY_4A Watch Dirt Block: https://youtu.be/MfdHU-E_N70 Watch Dwarf Fortress: https://youtu.be/H2KR9Ny4iy8 You can also follow the Human Echoes Peeps on Twitter! @HumanEchoes @tsouthcotte @albert_berg @josephdevon @ManicPix

Do you believe in the paranormal? In ghosts? In spoon bending? In the ability to move objects with your mind? If you're like most rational science minded folks, then - wait for this - I can read your mind and your answer is 'hell no!' But what if we told you that science itself... might not be so sure... We explore the world of extrasensory perception and the replication crisis! On episode 23 of SOMEWHERE IN THE SKIES, Ryan sits down at The Nerdist School in Los Angeles to talk with Amanda Salvatore and Jackie Rae Aubel of The Guilty Pleasure Podcast. Each week, the ladies bring on guests to discuss their guiltiest of pleasures, and they grill Ryan on his most guilty obsession; The X-Files. In one of the longest-running science fiction series in network TV history, FBI special agents investigate unexplained, mind-bending cases known as "X-Files." Though the government is convinced that the outlandish reports are false, conspiracy theorist Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and realist Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), for most of the series, stop at nothing to prove that "the truth is out there." Amanda, Jackie, and Ryan navigate their way through the insanely complex alien conspiracy throughout the series, the steamy sexual tension between Mulder and Scully, and where the show is heading when it returns for an eleventh season in early 2018. The truth is in this episode, and you have been given top secret access to listen now. TRUST NO ONE! Guest Bios: Jackie Rae Aubel is a writer, comedian, and producer based in Los Angeles. She has studied improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizen's Brigade (NY), the People's Improv Theatre (NY) and the Nerdist School (LA). For the past 5 years, she's written, produced and directed both live and scripted comedy. She's currently a writer and actor on the Nerdist School house sketch team, 'The Vanities'. She is also co-host and producer of the 'Guilty Pleasure Show' on Project Alpha and the 'Guilty Pleasure Podcast' on the Nerdist School Network. Amanda Salvatore recently moved from her beloved New York to the ever sunny LA. She's loving her time here, but not so surprisingly misses Dollar Slice (specifically 99 Cent Express Pizza on 43rd and 8th). She used to sing and "dance" in musicals for many years but decided that writing jokes was a way more sensible life choice. She has studied improv and/or sketch writing with UCB, IO West, The Magnet, and The Nerdist School. She is a part of the improv group, The Vanities. This episode is brought to you by HelloFresh.
The Total Tutor Neil Haley will NBA Referee Bob Delaney. Bob Delaney is a 20-plus year veteran National Basketball Association Referee. His professional sports experience, coupled with his former (14 year) law enforcement career, provides tremendous insight and life skills that will entertain and motivate your organization. Covert As an undercover operative in Project Alpha for 3 years, Bob Delaney infiltrated organized crime rings in New Jersey, which ultimately led to the conviction of over 30 Mafia criminals. Delaney’s heroic performance during his perilous assignment represents the finest traditions of the New Jersey State Police. My father, the first superintendent of the New Jersey State Police Department, would have been proud of him. Surviving the Shadows Surviving the Shadows is a gripping and insightful exploration of PTSD, which has risen to crisis levels and is an issue Delaney knows firsthand. He developed the condition as a young New Jersey State Trooper in the mid-1970s, following a landmark, three-year undercover investigation of the Genovese and Bruno crime families.
Lost in the wilderness the trio attempt to return home and try again.
Banachek is an American mentalist and skeptic. He has written numerous books and invented various magic and mentalism effects, and is often sought out by top entertainers such as David Blaine, Lance Burton, James Randi and Criss Angel. He has been the recipient of a number of awards and recognitions, including the Dave Lederman Memorial Award (Awarded for Creativity in Mentalism) and the Dunninger Memorial Award (Awarded for Distinguished Professionalism in the Performance of Mentalism), both awarded by the Psychic Entertainers Association, as well as the College Campus Novelty Act of the Year, and the Entertainer of the Year on two occasions, all awarded by the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities. He is renowned for fooling scientists at Washington University into believing that his supposed psychic abilities were genuine during the Project Alpha hoax in the early 1980s. In 2009, he conducted a preliminary test of psychic claimant Connie Sonne's dowsing ability for the James Randi Educational Foundation's Million Dollar Challenge that was witnessed by hundreds in person at The Amazing Meeting 7 in Las Vegas, NV. In this conversation with D.J. Grothe, Banachek recounts his origins as a mentalist in South Africa, including how James Randi's books influenced the development of his worldview. He talks about his involvement helping develop Penn and Teller's bullet catch, the current finale to their Las Vegas show. He describes his role in Project Alpha, and explores to what extent he thinks the researchers involved were aware of his and his colleague's deceptions. He details the role that magicians and mentalists may play in informing the public about psychic and other paranormal claims, and describes the virtues of being an open-minded skeptic as opposed to a "debunker." He talks about his role n the James Randi Educational Foundation's Million Dollar Challenge, and recounts his preliminary testing of Connie Sonne's dowsing ability in front of a live audience at The Amazing Meeting 7, in Las Vegas in 2009.
