"Man and woman were created equal. We all have the Spirit of God inside us and we were meant to display His character!" - Cheri LaneAs we come to the close of Season 5, we wanted to discuss something that can oftentimes bring some complicated emotions with it. This is the question of women in ministry. Today, we are going to dive into what the Bible says about the subject, and pray that this will bless you. You don't have to have the title of "pastor" to minister the Gospel. We all have a part to play: men, women, and children. Some seasons change you. This one did.Season 4 of The Pain Game Podcast — The Aftermath — was built around a question Lyndsay has been living with for a decade: what happens to the people left standing after the unimaginable? Not the headlines. The human beings behind them. The survivors, the families, the professionals who carry these stories inside their bodies long after the cameras are gone.In this season finale, Lyndsay closes out The Aftermath with a reflection on everything this limited series uncovered — and everything it confirmed. That behind every crime, every loss, every headline is a pain that deserves purpose. That healing is not linear. And that the only way out is through. This episode is also home to some big news. After four seasons, The Pain Game Podcast is becoming The Giving Pain Purpose Podcast — because that's exactly what this show has always been. The mission hasn't changed. The conversations haven't changed. The name finally caught up.If you're new here, this episode is your entry point to everything Season 4 had to offer. If you've been here all along — thank you. Wells turned 42, threw his back out from a sneeze, and found his “first foray in the nether regions.” Meanwhile, Brandi just got back from Vegas where she DJ'd the ACMs pre-show, played every commercial break, never ate, barely saw her friends, and somehow still looked incredible. This week we're talking ACM highlights (Ella Langley swept 7 awards, Avery Anna broke brains, and Kacey Musgraves' new single has already moved in rent-free), a long list of favorite things (below), the Benson Boone mullet-mustache epidemic that needs to stop immediately, and Brandi and Matt's ongoing battle over who wins what in their Nashville renovation. And if that's not enough to reel you in... How about a riveting discussion about death row meals, annoying Vegas travel or which LA Mexican restaurant Wells should get his margarita fishbowl at? Good stuff. Now... Tell someone who cares, 'cause I don't. So suck a d*ck and get off my phone. Love ya, Fam! Kim Kardashian is suing her robber. San Jose is getting a professional women's hockey team! Have you ever fallen for this line of BS? Everybody likes a dad bod. Plus, Bob opens up about something she's been dealing with. Hour 2: The 50th Season Finale of Survivor is tonight! Jeff says this will be the last live finale they do. Plus, the season finale of ‘The Boys' is here. An influencer allegedly plotted to kill her boyfriend. There's an update on the ‘Summer House' drama. Is it possible to study for Bridge The Gap? Regrets, we all have them. Is there still time to avoid some of these? Hour 3: We know, it's your favorite time of the week! It's time to play Bridge The Gap, Sarah and Vinnie's trivia battle of the generations! This week, listener Joanne is back again for the Zillennials. Her GenX competitor is Jason, a wine bar owner from Burlingame. Speaking of Mary-Kate and Ashley… did their VHS movies make them any money? Could dumpster diving possibly be a business? Here's some food to expect at Bottlerock this weekend. These words mean a restaurant is gonna be good… right? Google is overhauling their search bar - for the first time in 25 years. Pro parenting tip: Keep the TV remote in a plastic bag. Hour 4: Let us help you! badadvice973@gmail.com. Harry Styles' tour just started, and the fans are not happy with the views. The Super Bowl is headed to Nashville in 2030. Billy Joel doesn't want a biopic. Emergency room visits for tick bites have reached an all time high. A deadly mushroom outbreak strikes Northern California. Then, the gang takes today's game incredibly seriously, per usual.

Hey, Beyond Sunday listeners! Join us today for the final episode of our Spring 2026 season. The Sermon on the Mount leaves us with a radical and inescapable choice—either to follow Jesus or to reject him. What we choose, however, depends on our response to a deeper question: Who is this preacher? Or in Jesus' own words, "Who do you say that I am?" Tune in to hear why this is the most important question of all time—and why your answer is the most important thing about you. Please join us the next few months as we interview the preachers from our upcoming summer series. As the Lord would have it, we will be journeying through the Sermon on the Mount on Sunday mornings from now until early August. Don't miss this chance to dig even deeper into the treasure trove that is this one-of-a-kind sermon from our one-of-a-kind savior!

Ghost and Ashe in America close out season three by walking through the Decapolis arc all the way to Simon stepping out of the boat. The hosts unpack why Andrew and Philip's parable of the great banquet sparked a literal street brawl, why Judas is the only apostle in the room who instantly grasps everyone's offense (because his ego is still fully intact), and what it means that Jesus heals a deaf-mute Greek before he's even had a chance to introduce himself. The conversation widens into Socrates dying for "corrupting the youth" the same way Jesus would, the Nabateans of Petra, the Haskalah and why Orthodox versus secular Jews are headed for a civil war in present-day Israel, and what the chosen people actually got chosen for (hint: Deuteronomy 28, and it isn't a status upgrade). Then it lands on the feeding of the five thousand and Simon's brutally honest, cynical kind of faith. He believes Jesus can do it. He's just afraid Jesus will choose them. It ends where every storyline this season has been pointing. Keep your eyes on me. The mercies are new because we need them new.

Have you ever looked at your spouse and quietly wondered… is this even worth it anymore? Maybe somewhere between the disappointment, the distance, the conflict, or the exhaustion, you started questioning whether your marriage could really make it through. But what if the very struggles making you want to give up are actually the very places God wants to use to deepen, refine, and strengthen your relationship? Join me in Season 2's SEASON FINALE with Steven Curtis Chapman and Mary Beth Chapman for an honest conversation about marriage, hardship, grace, and staying the course. Celebrating 40 years together, they share the real story behind a marriage that has endured heartbreak, differences, and difficult seasons — and why, by God's grace, they still believe it's worth it. Gear up for a firehose of wisdom, vulnerability, and hope, and we'll be sure to walk away with the reminder that even the messiest seasons of marriage can become the beginning of something new. ________________________________________________________________ Connect with Steven Curtis Chapman: https://store.stevencurtischapman.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/stevencurtischapman/ Their new book, Still Here: https://rstyle.me/+y0_eidPvOAll32fNqlZJEw Connect with Mary Beth Chapman: https://www.marybethchapman.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mbchap232/ Their new book, Still Here: https://rstyle.me/+y0_eidPvOAll32fNqlZJEw Connect with Heidi Lee Anderson: https://heidileeandersonministries.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heidileeanderson/ 100-Day Devotional, All In, All Yours: https://rstyle.me/+11Ii1owgccFkGPU0t1uz3w

The Potter Discussion: Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and the Wizarding World Fandom
Send us Fan MailIn this episode, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger come to the end of their second year at Hogwarts. We spend most of the episode in Ancient Greece following the inventor of the horcrux: Herpo the Foul. Enjoy!Topics/Summary:· Listen to Tea Leaves S2 E7 here! Read more about Herpo the Foul here (if you dare)!· 1:56 Quick Recap and Herpo the Foul. We open in Ancient Greece, thousands of years ago. Herpo the Foul lives in a big, nonmagical family. He feels like he can't make his voice heard, and that he has no power. This leads to the formation of an obscurus and his magical journey begins. This part of the episode should be the majority. We explore his life and how he used his powers to gain an edge, eventually breaking out of simple curses and discovering horcruxes. The similarities to Voldemort should be obvious.· 26:13 Back to Harry. We open in the girls' bathroom with Fawkes, Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Lockhart returning from the Chamber. Harry and Ron go up to Dumbledore's office where they are scolded, but also rewarded. Harry hands Dumbledore the diary and we should feel the weight of that moment, especially because of how much buildup we had in the previous part of this episode. Lucius and Dobby enter, and Harry gives the diary to Lucius before they leave, who hands it to Dobby. Dobby is free! Finally, we have a final shot of the trio getting on the train and going back home. It is the end of this year, but certainly not the end of the story. Soon, they will learn of the horrible, terrible, escaped Sirius Black… ThePotterDiscussion@gmail.comthepotterdiscussion.comNox

Ghost and Ashe in America kick off the season three finale by tracing the slow-burn arc between Gaius and Simon across episodes four through seven. A broken cistern, a few tied knots, a bad piece of marriage advice, and one drunken stumble into the Roman quarter later, you've got two men from opposite sides of a wall doing the work of building a bridge. The hosts dig into what makes this dynamic land: shared manual labor, real disagreement, and the slow conversion of the heart that happens when Gaius finally confesses to Simon about his illegitimate son and a sick little boy he can no longer pretend isn't his. Along the way: why the disciples can't stop tying themselves into knots when Jesus steps out of the room, why Judas is the only one who never gets his ego death scene (and why that makes the betrayal hit harder), Atticus humiliating the Pharisees in the temple courtyard, and Caesarea Philippi foreshadowing. Plus a bracing detour into the difference between the People of the Book and the People of the Way, and why a Colorado governor candidate could not answer what Tina Peters was actually convicted of.
