*The music in this video is copyrighted and all rights reserved to the respective copyright holders* In a wildly entertaining and occasionally profound Episode 33 of Y Chromes, CannCon, Alpha Warrior, J.B. White, and Cam Cooksey blend frat-house banter with philosophical depth. From smack talk about yoga pants and false advertising to a hilarious (and traumatizing) deep-dive into viral shock videos like Two Girls One Cup, the crew doesn't shy away from the absurd. But between the laughs, things get heavy as they tackle simulation theory, AI-run governments, and humanity's limited understanding of God. Cam drops a killer surf-and-turf segment in “Smokin' with My Chromies,” featuring shrimp and steak skewers with smoked pineapple, while the crew reflects on friendship, sacrifice, and the art of wingmanship. Throw in some military humor, a debate about emotional differences between men and women, and a mind-bending rabbit hole into consciousness and the nature of creation, and you've got peak Y Chromes. Equal parts locker room, late-night dorm convo, and spiritual quest, this episode proves that bro talk can go way deeper than you think.

From a food truck, to a new owner, and a sneak peak at a new restaurant--this week's Food Farms And Chefs Radio Show opens the door to hear from the individuals that make dining out an amazing experience! We first heard from Jaime Juliano, who is the Owner & Pitmaster behind Big Papa Jai's BBQ. Jaime's business was born from several influences and inspirations: From family members who influenced him, recipes he loved as a child, and finding inspiration while watching a Food Network show with his wife during the pandemic--Jaime found his passion for all things BBQ. Soon after, Jaime was using his skills as a mechanic to weld together a custom smoker so he could have a traveling barbecuer. Today, Jaime has since updated his BBQ equipment as well as offering creative takes and tried-and-true staples for Big Papa Jai's BBQ.Speaking of staples, the owner behind one of Philadelphia's favorite ice cream shops joined us on the show. Cristina Torres, who acquired Weckerly's Ice Cream about a year ago, gave us the scoop behind what inspired her to go from a corporate job to owning the beloved ice cream shop based out of Philadelphia's Fishtown area. Weckerly's is known to have some of the best ice cream around, and we found out why. So if you're curious to hear what makes Weckerly's such a big hit, as well as finding out the exciting new flavors & opportunities in-store for this fall, then stay tuned to Food Farms And Chefs Radio Show to find out! Oy Rathpakdy, who is Fearless Restaurant group's Regional Manager for White Dog Cafe, was on to announce White Dog Cafe's new Fall menu, their events coming up, and even more exciting: The opening of Testa Rossa in Glen Mills! Fearless Restaurant Group's White Dog Cafe and their other brands are loved by both locals and visitors to the Philadelphia dining scene, so it's exciting news to share that they're opening a new restaurant for everyone to enjoy. That's not the only exciting announcement--White Dog Cafe has something new to pour over for their cocktail menu too! And stay tuned to find out how you can join in on a howling good time with several other events happening this Fall on Food Farms And Chefs Radio Show!

On today's episode we talk to our first paramedic! Brad Pittman has been a paramedic and stand up comedian for 34 years. He works the nightshift as a paramedic outside of Atlanta. Guys, Brad has seen some sh*t. Maybe you think your job is stressful, but do you wear a bullet proof vest to work? Do you? Well Brad does. Brad also had a stroke 8 years ago while at work. This is terrible, but if you are going to have a stroke, having one in an ambulance with another paramedic is a close second to having one in the hospital. Brad's stroke left him with an intermittent stutter which he has had to work through on stage. Brad is also a Youtuber with some super fun characters that he has cooked up, and a podcaster. His podcast is called Smoked Meat, named after his love of meat! And his meat-related hobbies that helped him get through some tough times. Getting to know Brad was super fun! I'm glad he is out there! The Oilers just wrapped up a perfect month of January, Chalmers was back with a tooth-brushing update, and that meant a whole lot to talk about on the Monday episode of the Real Life podcast. Kicking off the podcast, the boys got started with a fresh round of podcast reviews that included a truckload of feedback regarding Chalmers' dental hygiene. In terms of connecting with the audience, it's been a minute since any show stories have landed as well as this one. Changing gears, the podcast turned toward Chalmers' gripe with smoking meat. Even though he's always dreamt of being a meat smoker guy, the fact that he doesn't like the food he produces is absolutely hilarious. Changing gears, the guys spent the next few minutes discussing the Nation Vacation to Arizona that's coming up in a few short weeks and why you need to be a part of this trip. With only four spots available, the guys tried to incentivize signing up with some of the worst ideas humanly possible. Sticking with the Oilers, Jay laid out his pitch for why Edmonton should chase Sidney Crosby as a potential deadline target. As you'll hear, Jay was incredibly passionate about the idea, only to have that enthusiasm quelled by an unimpressed Tyler YaremchukLastly, the guys wrapped up the Monday episode of the podcast with a look at the Super Bowl after Tyler tweeted that it's going to be the worst final of all time. Tyler's opinion wasn't shared by everyone, however, as the San Francisco versus Kansas City matchup does have more intrigue than maybe one might expect. Hosted on Acast. With nearly 80 years of experience, Godshall's Quality Meats in Souderton, Pa., is focused on offering new concepts to address ever-changing trends among consumers who love smoked meats. In this episode, company President Ron Godshall explains how the company developed alternative smoked meat products in a market that's been saturated in hot dogs, hams and pork-based bacon for decades. Standing out also involves addressing other consumer interests, including all-natural trends and turkey-based and beef-based smoked meats. He also explains how sustainability initiatives are helping Godshall's Quality Meats differentiate itself from the competition.

On this episode of Pizza Quest we take a tangential detour away from pizza (as we often do in our ever-expanding celebration of artisanship wherever we find it) with one of our longtime, favorite guests, Meathead Goldwyn. Meathead (yes, that's his name, the origins of which he explains in this conversation), is the creator and host of the hugely popular website, AmazingRibs.com, where for many years he has provided an encyclopedia's worth of free knowledge on everything related to cooking over wood, charcoal, gas, and even electric. His best-selling book, Meathead: The Science of Great BBQ and Grilling, provides both techniques and recipes, but also clearly explains the science behind why and how you should do it.In this entertaining conversation, he demystifies some of the most common false myths about BBQ and grilling, and you will leave this episode with some brilliant, perhaps even life changing takeaways, and might even be compelled to join Meathead's Pitmaster Club for additional perks. Hold on for a great ride as Peter talks with the legendary Meathead Goldwyn.Click here for the video versions of Pizza Quest. Picture this: an organic farm on 250 acres of soft, green, rolling hills on a remote peninsula bordering the Atlantic Ocean—an idyllic location to grow vegetables and raise cows and pigs. At first glance, it seems like the Ferguson family—the multi-generational crew behind Gubbeen Farm outside Schull, West Cork—is living the dream: father Tom is the herdsman; mother Giana, the pioneering cheesemaker; son Fingal the smoked meat producer; and daughter Clovisse the bio-dynamic gardener. After taking a closer look, we can confirm that in this case the dream is in fact, reality. With the start of their award-winning cheesemaking in the 1970s, the Fergusons have worked diligently to make Gubbeen cheese and meat products a household name synonymous with quality, care, and respect for the land in restaurants and homes around Ireland and throughout the world. In this week's episode, we sit down with Fingal Ferguson, the fifth generation of Gubbeen farmers, to talk about life on the farm, the West Cork artisan community, and the beauty of staying small. We also discuss Fingal's passion for knives and knife making, as well as how to not rest on a legacy, but continue to stay creative and challenge yourself.Photo courtesy of Fingal Ferguson.Dyed Green is a project of Bog & Thunder, whose mission is to highlight the best of Irish food and culture, through food tours, events, and media. Smoked meat and bagels. Both of these foods were made popular in Montreal's Mile End neighbourhood which, at one time, was mainly home to Jewish immigrants. It is also where my father grew up. On a recent trip to dad's old stomping grounds, I spoke to two general managers of Mile End's culinary institutions: Schwartz's Deli and St-Viateur Bagel. We chatted about the history of their businesses and the enduring popularity of their food. Both destinations were favourites of Anthony Bourdain and Leonard Cohen. Many of you know Dr. Jimmy Turner. He calls himself the Physician Philosopher and this is his second time on the show. In the first episode with him, we talked about his first book, The Physician Philosopher's Guide to Personal Finance and he just published Determined: How Burned Out Doctors Can Thrive In a Broken Medical System. He also runs the alpha coaching experience and hosts the Physician Philosopher podcast. But we didn't talk about ANY OF THAT. He recently bought a smoker and I love smoking meat, so I thought we'd chat about smoking. I'm on Long Island and he's in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, so I thought I'd learn something from him. As it turns out, I spent most of the episode teaching him! YES WE CANADA The Progressives Guide to Getting the F**k Out - Season Two
A province is like a state but with more power and fewer rednecks. But in our country, the province of Quebec is actually “the founding French nation” of Canada, which is why it gets its own very podcast. As the only French speaking province in Canada, the government of Quebec has greater control over what are considered federal jurisdictions in other provinces like immigration, taxation and employment. Francophone Quebecers are tiny island of eight million French speakers surrounded by a sea of 360 million people in North America who speak English as their principal language. So, keeping Quebec French is very important and a huge challenge. Therefore, Quebec's immigration policy gives priority to French speaking immigrants and yes, we know that as an American exceptionalist, you are comfortable with having “priority” in every thing you do, but even though you know how to say“bonjour”, "oui" and “voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?” I think it's gonna take a little more than that to get you into Quebec as a French speaking immigrant. Désolé.But because Yes We Canada is a public service, we give you a free hack on how to move to Quebec with only the french noted above! Bienvenue! Uh, that means welcome.
Oh Canada! On this episode of The Itinerary we go north of the border for a weekend trip to Montreal! Smoked Meat, Joe Beef, Hockey night in Canada and more on this Itinerary!
