We break down the internet's hilarious reactions and how she flawlessly leaned into the viral fame. Plus, we look at the latest TikTok obsession—the "saxophone getting louder" trend—and trace its unexpected origins all the way back to the 1991 classic film Boyz n the Hood. Finally, we chat briefly about the current state of AI photos before obsessing over the best thing on TV right now: Netflix's The Boroughs. One team opted to add an incorrect first name to a correct last name (in fact, it was the answer's brother), thus losing out on a critical 25 points. We learned that even God can't hit a 1-Iron and Dave just wanted to say "Gooch." In "The Weekly Watcher" (Chapter Five), Darrell and Addi break down one of the season's funnest episodes yet, where the Hawkins Investigators Club finds themselves in a race against the press after a polaroid photo of one of their Upside Down encounters lands in the hands of a tabloid editor. With Keith having already handed off Dustin's snapshot to The Weekly Watcher, the gang — with a crucial assist from Nancy — must launch a full-on newspaper office infiltration to keep Hawkins' paranormal secrets under wraps. Darrell and Addi dive deep into the episode's standout moments, including Eleven's storm-conjuring save that pulls Lucas out of an impossible corner, and the satisfying (but short-lived) sense of relief when Dustin destroys the photo for good. But it wouldn't be Stranger Things without a twist that changes everything. Darrell and Addi also dig into the emotional undercurrents running through the episode, namely the ongoing tension around Nikki's place in the group and what it means for the gang's dynamic going forward. And just when you think the crisis has been handled? The episode's closing moment pulls the rug out entirely, revealing that the so-called "snake monster" featured in The Weekly Watcher is not tabloid fiction at all. It's a very real creature from the Upside Down, and it has Jeff. Tune in as your hosts unpack all of it, including what this  cliffhanger could mean for the rest of the season. Along the way they discuss Antony Starr's all-time performance as Homelander, the missed opportunity with the Gen V characters, Soldier Boy's role in the final season, and why The Boys may have been one of the smartest shows on television underneath all the insanity.

The first Star Wars film in seven years just hit cinemas—and it works as a complete standalone. Pedro Pascal is the gruff dad bounty hunter, but the animatronic creature steals every scene. It's packed with action, hilarious moments, and surprisingly emotional beats. Netflix just dropped a three-part documentary about one of pop culture's biggest icons. It covers her early life in Australia, her rise to fame, past relationships, cancer diagnoses (including one she kept secret), and failed IVF journeys. It's glossy, emotional, and genuinely riveting—even if you're not already a superfan, you'll be by the end. Plus, the Duffer Brothers have executive produced an eight-episode gem about retirees in a desert retirement community discovering a sinister entity attacking residents. The cast is absolutely stacked, and it's genuinely creepy, chaotic, and emotional. Completely binge-worthy.

Today, we welcome Jason Liebig to the show! Jason is a brand historian, packaging archivist, and former marketing exec at DC Comics and Warner Bros, and story exec at Marvel. He's the founder of CollectingCandy.com, an insane archive of vintage candy and snack packaging, which has led him to serve as the behind-the-scenes consultant for shows like Stranger Things, Mad Men, The Queen's Gambit, and The Goldbergs, making sure every prop is era-perfect. You may have seen him on the History Channel on The Food That Built America and The Mega-Brands That Built America, and now on Hazardous History alongside Henry Winkler.  Jason tells us his origin story, how he started his collection, and how it grew from a hobby into a profession. He also brought a ton of items from his archive to show and tell. Jason's enthusiasm for brands is second to none; he's a one-of-a-kind guy and an encyclopedia of knowledge. We truly could have talked for another 3 hours, if not more! Do yourself a favor and check out his archive; it'll make you very happy. Something is changing in Hawkins, and the gang is starting to realize the threat they are facing is bigger than anything they have dealt with before. Chapter Three of Stranger Things: Tales From '85, "Evolution," picks up the pace in a big way, as Nikki's mysterious past begins to come into focus and the dangers lurking around Hawkins start to evolve into something far more unsettling. The Hawkins Investigators Club is put to the test as the stakes climb higher, and what started as strange occurrences around town is quickly revealing itself to be something deeply connected to the Upside Down. In this episode, Darrell and Addi dig into everything "Evolution" throws at the audience. They break down the growing revelations around Nikki and what her relationship with Will, explore how the show is deepening its mythology while keeping that signature Stranger Things heart, and talk through the crew's evolving dynamic as trust is tested and the pressure mounts. They also weigh in on how "Evolution" raises the emotional stakes alongside the supernatural ones, and have a great time exploring all the great listener feedback!
