A pastor who won’t speak up against abortion is a coward and a church that won’t touch the issue isn’t worth attending. In a strong message to the modern American church, Charlie explains why action against the atrocity of abortion is central to the faith. He and Isabel Brown take audience questions as well. * Tolerance: This week Fred Williams and Doug McBurney review the latest scientific news highlighting the wonder of our creator, (and embarrassing the evolutionists). * Intolerance: Hear how lactose intolerance is not a communicable disease, (so don't bother masking up) - but instead can be evidence of genetic adaptation as we age, (even though evolutionists insist genetic "mutations" mysteriously appeared in multiple human populations, bestowing lactase persistence in adults). * Telethonerance: It's Telethon Month! If you enjoy Real Science Radio WE NEED YOU to keep us on the air! Help us reach our $30,000.00 goal by purchasing Real Science Radio products, or become an insider and sponsor some shows! You can also mail your support in the form of an old school check, (preferably for $30,000.00 or more - or less : ) to RSR PO Box 583 Arvada, CO 80001. * Today I "Taught" Science? We're joined virtually by Dr. Harini Bhat, a pharmacist who, nonetheless is most likely NOT connected to the story on magic mushrooms. Hear her repeat what every student hears at college about "the great unconformity". She points out the Old Earth problem of "missing" years from the geologic record. We offer the good doctor a far more plausible record from Genesis. * Psychedelicance: How could psilocybin evolve twice? in two different types of mushrooms without said mushrooms ever having attended an EDM festival together? Did the mushrooms share a song off Sgt. Pepper's? No! Evolutionists assert it happened by unrelated events guiding natural selection... twice! * FDA Guidance & Autism: Tune in to hear about your government doing something sensible with their recommendations around autism, drugs and vaccines, (and our advice on some biblical guidance that will make the recommendations even better)!
* 2 Kings: The divided kingdom is symptomatic of Israel's separation from God. In the northern kingdom, the prophet Elijah passing on the mantle of his ministry, along with a double blessing from God, to Elisha. With the defeat of Moab, and the mocking of Syria's blinded army, God's covenant people had opportunity after opportunity to thrive. Instead, their sin brought judgment. Ahab's sons were killed after his wicked widow Jezebel was thrown out of a window to her death. In the southern kingdom of Judah, the sole surviving son of the royal family became king, but eventually Joash too was murdered. After Elisha died, Israel and Judah fought, with rampant paganism in the north so weakening the ten tribes that they were carried carried away captive by the Assyrians. Meanwhile down south, the more benevolent reigns of kings like Azariah, Jotham, Hezekiah, and Josiah only postponed God's judgment until Nebuchadnezzar carried away Judah in the Babylonian captivity. Together, with Fr. Mike, we examine the wound of abortion. Fr. Mike emphasizes that all human life deserves protection, especially the unborn, but he also emphasizes the importance of God's mercy. He explains that those who have procured an abortion are excommunicated, subject to the conditions established by Canon Law. However, the excommunication does not limit the scope of God's mercy, but rather highlights the gravity of the sin. Fr. Mike concludes by highlighting that if abortion is a part of your story, you are encouraged to take the step towards confession and forgiveness, to be met with mercy and love and be welcomed home. Depending on whom you ask, Halloween is either a day with Christian roots…or a gateway to the demonic. So which is it? It's important for pro-lifers to get this right. If we dabble in the demonic, not only do we endanger our souls, but we also won't be able to fight the evil of abortion. On this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, we take a look at the origins of Halloween, how it became a celebration of the grotesque and macabre, and whether it can be redeemed.
As access to abortion and contraception are curtailed across much of the U.S., Professor Lina-Maria Murillo explains that today's reproductive rights debates are part of a much longer story. Her research in the U.S.-Mexico borderlands show how race and power have always influenced who can get care and who cannot. She connects how earlier attempts to control women's bodies still shape current laws and discussions, and she shares what history can teach us about defending reproductive freedom now. For more on this topic: Check out Murillo's book, Fighting for Control: Power, Reproductive Care, and Race in the US-Mexico Borderlands Read her perspective in the Washington Post: Before Roe v. Wade, U.S. residents sought safer abortions in Mexico Read her SSN brief: Reproductive Freedom along the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands

The term crisis pregnancy center (CPC) refers to anti-abortion facilities that mislead, confuse, delay, misinform, and purposefully re-direct pregnant people looking for education and services, including abortion care. They are often referred to as fake clinics, but they are beginning to offer some medical services. Garnet Henderson and Susan Rinkunas, journalists and co-founders of Autonomy News, sit down to talk with us about the new, harmful deceptions that CPCs are rolling out nationwide.CPCs claim, without good evidence, an in-progress abortion can be halted through an “abortion pill reversal,” or the placement of progesterone between the ingestion of mifepristone and misoprostol—the two medications needed a medication abortion. This is based off myths of anecdotal regret, not scientific studies. In fact, the medical consensus is clear: the "abortion pill reversal" pseudoscience is ineffective and potentially dangerous. A case this Supreme Court term, First Choice Women's Resource Centers v. Platkin, stemmed from a subpoena from New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin to the First Choice chain of CPCs, seeking evidence on their abortion pill reversal claims. They have fought the subpoena up to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the "One Big Beautiful Bill" has cut Planned Parenthood out of Medicaid. Abortion providers are forced to make a choice: continue providing abortions and remain ineligible to participate in Medicaid, or halt abortion services. There is no early gestation ban on abortion in Wisconsin, but Planned Parenthood has chosen not to provide abortions in response to this law. One of the most emotional debates raging in our day centers on the subject of abortion. Some see it as simply the choice of a woman over what happens to her body; some see it as far more sinister. Today, we look at the ancient practice of child sacrifice to see if there is any parallel to the modern practice. This conversation is vital because it involves the doctrines of both God and man.I. The Ancient Practice (Leviticus 20:1-5)II. The Modern Parallel (Psalm 106)III. The Divine Prescription (John 3:16; Romans 12:1-2)Talk with God: Meditate on Lamentations 3:22-24, thanking the Lord that His mercies “are new every morning,” and ask Him to renew your hope in Him this week.Talk with others: Encourage your Connect Group in refusing to conform to the world and focus on “being transformed” through the Word.Talk with kids: What does it mean to repent?
* Be Not Deceived: This week Fred Williams and Doug McBurney welcome Daniel Hedrick for an update on the evolution of Artificial Intelligence with a countdown of the top 10 modern AI deceptions. * Number 10: DeepMind's AlphaStar in StarCraft II (2019). AlphaStar learned to feint attacks—basically fake moves to trick opponents. No one programmed it to lie; it emerged from training. A classic case of deceptive strategy by design. * Number 9: LLM Sycophancy (2024). Large Language Models will sometimes flatter or agree with you, no matter what you say. Instead of truth, they give you what you want to hear—deception through people-pleasing. * Number 8: Facial Recognition Bias (2018). These systems were far less accurate for dark-skinned women than for light-skinned men. Companies claimed high accuracy, but the data told a different story. Deceptive accuracy claims. * Number 7: Amazon's Hiring Algorithm (2018). Amazon trained it on mostly male résumés. The result? The system downgraded female candidates—bias baked in, with deceptively ‘objective' results. * Number 6: COMPAS Recidivism Algorithm (2016). This tool predicted criminal reoffending. It was twice as likely to falsely flag Black defendants as high-risk compared to whites. A serious, deceptive flaw in the justice system. * Number 5: US Healthcare Algorithm (2019). It used healthcare spending as a proxy for need. Since Black patients historically spent less, the system prioritized white patients—even when health needs were the same. A deceptive shortcut with real-world harm. * Number 4: Prompt Injection Attacks (Ongoing). Hackers can slip in hidden instructions—malicious prompts—that override an AI's safety rules. Suddenly, the AI is saying things it shouldn't. It's deception in the design loopholes. * Number 3: GPT-4's CAPTCHA Lie (2023). When asked to solve a CAPTCHA, GPT-4 told a human worker it was visually impaired—just to get help. That's not an error. That's a machine making up a lie to achieve its goal. * Number 2: Meta's CICERO Diplomacy AI (2022). Trained to play the game Diplomacy honestly, CICERO instead schemed, lied, and betrayed alliances—because deception won games. The lesson? Even when you train for honesty, AI may find lying more effective. * Number 1: AI Lie….OpenAI's Scheming Models from 2025. OpenAI researchers tested models that pretended to follow rules while secretly plotting to deceive evaluators. It faked compliance to hide its true behavior. That's AI deliberately learning to scheme.

It's Friday, October 17th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Chinese college forces students to identify as atheists According to a September 30th report from ChinaAid, a mobile app used by a Chinese vocational school, requires students to declare they're atheists. The app, used by Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity in China, instructs students to check the box for “no religious belief” in their personal information sections, clearly violating their right to religious freedom. The report stated that “point 4 under ‘personal information notes' requires filling in ‘no religious belief,' forcing all enrolled students to declare themselves as ‘atheists' or ‘non-believers.'” The Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist and has a long history of disrespecting and persecuting religious communities, including Christians. Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.'” The Gospel Coalition stated in 2022 that “[President] Xi despises Christianity … [and] fears that religion, especially Christianity, is an attempt by foreign influences to subvert his nation.” U.S. Special Operations helicopters near Venezuela The U.S. military's elite Special Operations aviation unit appears to have flown in Caribbean waters less than 90 miles from the coast of Venezuela in recent days, reports the Washington Post. According to an unnamed U.S. official, the helicopters were engaged in training exercises that could serve as preparation for expanded conflict against alleged drug traffickers, including potential missions inside Venezuela. Already, the U.S. military has struck at least five boats carrying illegal narcotics in international waters, killing at least 27 drug traffickers. Speaker Johnson & Speaker Ohana back Trump for Nobel Peace Prize On Wednesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson explained why he believed that President Donald Trump is deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize next year. JOHNSON: “I'm proud to tell you that together with my friend, Speaker [Amir] Ohana of the Israeli Knesset, the equivalent of our Congress, we're going to rally speakers and presidents of parliaments around the world so that we will jointly nominate President Donald J. Trump for next year's Nobel Peace Prize. “No one has ever deserved that prize more. And that is an objective fact. It's an indisputable fact that no president has undertaken the work of saving lives and pursuing peace with such determination and with such remarkable success as President Trump. “Under his leadership, we are witnessing the dawn of a new golden age, not just for America, but for the entire free world. The world is changed by these actions and strong leadership. American strength is good for free people around the world, as we say always, and peace through strength is maintained.” Pentagon journalists turn in badges, refusing new Hegseth rules Dozens of Pentagon reporters turned in access badges and exited the War Department on Wednesday rather than agree to government-imposed restrictions on their work, reports the Associated Press. The nation's leadership called the new rules “common sense” to help regulate a “very disruptive” press. News outlets were nearly unanimous in rejecting new rules imposed by War Secretary Pete Hegseth that would leave journalists vulnerable to expulsion if they sought to report on information — classified or otherwise — that had not been approved by Hegseth for release. Homosexual pastor says abortion “helps the life of children” According to a viral video clip, a self-described “queer” Protestant pastor said babies should be killed in the womb so they do not grow up in an “unsupportive” situation, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Kurt Kaufman is a recently “ordained” minister who currently works as a “ministerial associate” at First Baptist Church of Denver. Protestia, which often criticizes liberal Christianity, posted a video of an interview Kaufman gave where he explains why he supports the intentional killing of innocent preborn babies. Listen. KAUFMAN: “Being in favor of reproductive rights [i.e., the destruction of the unborn], first and foremost, protects the life of the mother, and protects the life of the person that is already living, and is the person that is able to bring more life into this world should they choose,” “Furthermore, it protects the life of children. There are so many children that currently exist in this world that were forced to be born because of legislation, because of men that have decided for women. And so as a result, many children have grown up into a unsupportive, unhealthy and right-challenging household that hasn't been a life that any child should live. “And so being in favor of reproductive choice helps the life of children everywhere because they don't have to grow up in a world that dislikes them because they simply exist.” This is why, according to the so-called “minister” it's a good thing to support the killing of babies. But in Proverbs 6:16-19, there are seven things listed that God hates, including “the shedding of innocent blood.” LifeSiteNews asked Kaufman for further information on when the interview occurred, what he would say to the counterargument that society does not kill babies after they are born just because of their circumstances, and at what point he believes preborn babies are human beings who deserve protection from abortion. In a reply email this past Tuesday, Kaufman wrote, “I have no comment to provide.” Not surprisingly, Kaufman's outrageous remarks drew criticism from commentators on X. Scott Dunford wrote, “By his logic every kid born into a bad home situation should be eliminated. This is an evil and godless way of thinking.” And an account called Woke Preacher Clips wrote, “This is psychotic behavior.” Bad Bunny's Super Bowl perverse half time show vs. Turning Point's wholesome patriotic alternative And finally, Super Bowl LX (60) is set for Sunday, February 8, 2026, and will broadcast on NBC with a halftime performance featuring Benito Ocasio known as “Bad Bunny,” a Puerto Rican rapper who has championed sexual perversion, sexual immorality, self-indulgence, and hostility to Immigration Customs and Enforcement. Indeed, Ocasio has said that his sexuality may be fluid. He told Gay Pride, “At the moment, I am heterosexual and I like women, but maybe in 20 years I will like a man.” In his song, Ignorantes, he features sexual perversion, and in his song, Yo Perreo Sola, Ocasio created a disturbing video where he personally dresses and cavorts around in drag. Turning Point USA, the nonprofit created by the late Charlie Kirk and now led by his widow Erika Kirk, announced they will broadcast a wholesome, patriotic alternative that celebrates “faith, family, and freedom.” While event details and scheduled performers are still being determined, you can sign up to receive event information and vote for your preferred music genre at AmericanHalfTimeShow.com. The website again is AmericanHalfTimeShow.com. And you can add your name to a petition, organized by One Million Moms, to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, chastising him for hiring the sexually immoral rapper “Bad Bunny.” You will find the link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. New Jersey is generally viewed as a state with some of the strongest abortion protections, but Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli has some plans that could change that. Terrence McDonald, editor at the New Jersey Monitor, talks about the parts of both candidates' platforms that could change or strengthen abortion protections in the state.
Questions about how to respond to someone who asks, ”How does it affect you if a gay couple gets married, or a woman makes a decision about her reproductive health, or someone chooses a different faith system than yours?” How would you respond to someone who asks, ”How does it affect you if a gay couple gets married, or a woman makes a decision about her reproductive health, or someone chooses a different faith system than yours?”
On average, a woman’s risk of being killed in the U.S. increases by 20% when pregnant or after giving birth. Pregnant and postpartum women are more likely to be killed than to die from childbirth-related issues. Many killings are the result of domestic violence. Special correspondent Sarah Varney reports from Louisiana, where experts say abortion restrictions are putting women further at risk. With power back to the states, many assumed the number of abortions would decrease. What they failed to recognize was one small, yet powerful influence: the abortion pill. Dr. Francis and Mary unpack the impact and dangers women face when taking the pill and why it should be taken off the market immediately.

Football banter ends at 13:00 Earlier this year, we reviewed Planned Parenthood Federation of America's unhinged annual report (40daysforlife.com/hope-stds-the-chop). The report showed how out of touch the abortion giant is at the national level. Surely, Planned Parenthood's local affiliates must be a little more grounded, right? … RIGHT? We took a close look at the annual report of an ordinary midwestern Planned Parenthood affiliate. What we found was astonishing: -The statistic that blows Planned Parenthood's claim that abortion is only three percent of its services out of the water; -A shocking number of "gender-affirming" services; -More eugenics; -Planned Parenthood's bizarre after-school teen sex "health" club; -Startlingly weak grassroots activism that shows abortion just isn't a political winner anymore. Find out what local Planned Parenthood facilities are up to on this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast.
Once the first country to legalize abortion, Russia has undergone a sweeping moral transformation, slashing abortion rates from 5 million to under 500,000. In a candid interview from Moscow, Father Fyodor Lukyanov credits the Orthodox Church's growing influence, and its alliance with state leaders for this pro-life shift. From mandatory heartbeat laws to regional abortion bans, Lukyanov describes a nation repenting of its past and embracing faith to heal its future. He warns, however, that the battle is also cultural: Russia is targeting what it calls destructive Western ideologies, like radical LGBT activism and surrogacy, as forms of “spiritual suicide.” By rejecting these trends and championing large families as national heroes, Lukyanov sees Russia not just surviving but being reborn through divine guidance and moral clarity.U.S. residents! Anti-abortion extremists are hard at work attacking access through the courts, policy, clinic harassment, and more. Simultaneously, the Trump administration's chaos—including RFK Jr.'s harmful actions as head of HHS—are continuing to disassemble comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights, brick-by-brick. Mini Timmaraju, President and CEO of Reproductive Freedom for All, sits down to talk with us about how anti-abortion extremists are endlessly and strategically beelining for abortion and contraception. One focus of attack centers on mifepristone, the first of two medications taken during a medication abortion. It is extremely safe and has been available on the market for 25 years. Yet, Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA out of Texas saw anti-abortion advocates arguing against mifepristone (despite FDA approval of hundreds of studies proving its safety). It was headed by anti-reproductive health and rights judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, who has now sent the case to Missouri. Judge Kacsmaryk has referenced the Comstock Act, which would ban the mailing of abortion pills. Look around. A million lives aborted. Marriage redefined. Truth itself put on trial in our schools and boardrooms. Ever wonder how we got here? It didn't happen because the enemy was so loud. It happened because the Church was so quiet. Today, we're calling out the sin that has muzzled the Church for decades: silence.Culture screams its gospel of sin from every screen, platform, and institution. Meanwhile, too many Christians have been told to sit down, be quiet, and “go along to get along.” The result? A nation in moral free-fall.But silence is not humility. It's not respect. It's complicity. When we know the Truth and refuse to speak it, we aren't being neutral—we're siding with the enemy. The time for quiet, private faith is over. When the world is screaming lies, will you whisper, or will you roar with the truth of the gospel of Christ?Buckle up. This episode is a declaration of war on the sin of silence."If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them." – James 4:17Episode Highlights:08:24 - Abortion didn't become normalized because pro-abortion activists outnumber Christians—because they don't. It became normalized because too many Christians decided to stay home, keep quiet and not make waves... Neutrality ain't kindness. Neutrality ain't wisdom. Instead, neutrality is cowardice dressed up in church clothes.23:06 - Satan isn't scared of Christians who keep their faith private, but he's terrified of Christians who boldly and unapologetically go public with their faith... Satan doesn't mind you attending church quietly, reading your Bible silently, or praying in your head. What he fears is when you open your mouth and someone else's eternity changes because of it.34:17 - Silence is not just about avoiding discomfort here, it's about consigning souls to darkness forever. And this is why silence is not a small issue. It's not a personality quirk. It's not a matter of preference. It's literally, truly, in every sense of the word, life or death, heaven or hell. When Christians choose silence, the cost is measured in eternal destinies.Connect with Paul M. NeubergerWebsite

He is the author of seven books that have been translated into a dozen foreign languages and inspired an NBC television drama. A longtime foreign correspondent, he reported from more than 50 countries on seven continents and, as an investigative reporter at Maine's Portland Press Herald, won a 2012 George Polk Award and was a finalist for a 2016 Pulitzer Prize. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Politico, The Washington Post, The Economist, Smithsonian, and dozens of other major publications. A graduate of Tufts University and the University of Chicago and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, he lives in Maine. The bestselling author of American Nations reveals how centuries-old regional differences have brought American democracy to the brink of collapse and presents a powerful story that can bridge our cultural divisions and save the republic Our democracy has been purposefully dismantled, first in the states and now at the federal level. With groundbreaking original data and historical insights, Nations Apart is an essential guide to understanding why Americans are so divided on many hot button issues, creating geographic fissures that have been exploited by authoritarians. Colin Woodard shows how colonial era settlement patterns and the cultural geography they left behind are at the root of our political polarization, economic inequality, public health crises, and democratic collapse. Drawing on quantitative research from Woodard's university-based think tank project, Nations Apart exposes the true ideological and cultural divides behind today's struggles over: * Gun control * Immigration * Health policy * Abortion * Climate Change * History * Authoritarianism and Democracy But there is a road map to right the country: a carefully researched, vigorously tested common story for the country built on the mission set forth for us in the document that first bound our regions together, the Declaration of Independence. Combining compelling storytelling with scholarly vigor, Nations Apart offers a blueprint for bridging the rifts that divide us and ensuring the American dream of democratic self-government will reach its 300th birthday. A newly issued report from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University reveals striking contradictions and confusion in how Americans view sin, its causes, and its consequences, explains Dr. George Barna to Alex Newman on The Sentinel Report. While four out of five U.S. adults say they believe in the existence of sin, far fewer believe all people sin—and even fewer admit that they, personally, are sinners. The study concludes that only one out of seven adults (14%) holds a consistently biblical view of sin. Additionally, on this episode, Oklahoma Senator Shane Jett and Representative Gabe Woolley report that children are literally being kidnapped by the Department of Human Services because parents are seeking alternative methods of care for illnesses. Finally, the director of the Government Accountability Institute, Seamus Bruner, joins Newman to discuss how Antifa is a highly funded criminal organization and what President Trump must do to combat them.

In part two of her story, Rose returns to share the beautiful, pain-free freebirth of her second child, as well as the equally magical freebirth of her third. Between these two births, Rose had an abortion, and she shares how even through that she deeply connected with the soul of that baby, who told her she would be coming back. Throughout this second part of her story, Rose's experiences remind us how important conscious community is during life's transitions, and how powerful the rites of passage can be in birth, postpartum, and pregnancy release. Kylee Griswold, managing editor at The Federalist and host of The Kylee Cast, is in for Jim on Monday's 3 Martini Lunch. Today, Kylee and Greg discuss the Virginia Democrats' attorney general nominee Jay Jones and his extensive texts wishing death for a political opponent and his children. They also discuss the ridiculously light sentence for the man who tried to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the media finally admitting facts about the D.C. crime rate that the right was touting months ago.First, they unpack the disturbing 2022 texts from the Virginia Democrats' current attorney general nominee, Jay Jones, who repeatedly told a Republican colleague he'd like "two bullets to the head" of then–House Speaker Todd Gilbert and even wished death upon Gilbert's child so it might convince Gilbert to change his mind on policy. Kylee and Greg break down Jones's weak responses to the scandal and the largely indifferent reaction from Virginia Democrats.Next, they recoil at a federal judge sentencing the man who plotted and tried to kill Justice Kavanaugh and other conservative justices after the Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked. While the Justice Department recommended 30 years in prison, Judge Deborah Boardman sentenced Nicholas Roske to only eight years. And a major factor seems to be that Roske started identifying as a woman after his arrest and Judge Boardman was worried about Roske in a men's prison. But Kylee also explains even more egregious actions by Boardman to whittle the sentence down to eight years. Finally, they shake their heads as The Washington Post suddenly discovers that D.C. police officials have been downgrading serious charges to make crime stats look better. Trump supporters pointed out this manipulation months ago when the president ordered a 30-day federal takeover of D.C. policing, but the media dismissed it at the time.
