How Long Did Adam & Eve Last Before Sinning? Was it hours? Days? Weeks? The Bible doesn't give us a timestamp for when Adam and Eve fell—but if we dig deeper into the text, biology, and biblical patterns, we find strong clues pointing to a surprisingly short timeline. In this video, we explore: Clues from Genesis 1–4 about the timing of the Fall The reproductive biology of Eve and what it reveals Why Adam and Eve likely didn't have children before sin How the number 13 consistently symbolizes rebellion and sin in Scripture The shocking possibility that the Fall happened on the 13th day—maybe even on Friday the 13th We also reflect on God's immediate response: the very first prophecy of the coming Messiah, found in Genesis 3:15. Even in the moment of rebellion, God was already working a plan to redeem us. When a society celebrates the slaughter of unborn children, it's only a matter of time before the violence spreads to other vulnerable groups. So it's no surprise that same self-described humanists who brought us abortion and infanticide have set their sights on the elderly, the sick, and the disabled. On this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, we take a look at the troubling connections between abortion and euthanasia.

It's Tuesday, October 7, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Nigerian military opened fire on Christians Christian persecution at the hands of Muslim terrorists in Nigeria was tough enough. Now, Truth Nigeria reports that the Nigerian military has opened fire on Christians in the Benue State — this time killing three young men. Ten others sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds and are receiving medical treatment in Jato-Aka. The local chief said, “We no longer need the military in our land. … They have joined Fulani to kill us and take over our land. They have turned their guns against us. … The betrayal is unbearable. Enough is enough. President Tinubu and Governor Alia should hear this message and take immediate action.” Newsweek urges State Dept to declare Nigeria “Country of Particular Concern” Newsweek.com has joined the voices of comedian Bill Maher and others, pointing to the egregious level of Christian killings in Nigeria. The Nigerian government has “categorically” denied that terrorists are waging a systematic genocide against Christians in the country. Newsweek noted that the Trump State Department has thus far failed at making Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern.” Europe's swirling politics France just lost its third prime minister in about a year. Sébastien Lecornu was the latest, and he just resigned yesterday after only 27 days in office. This marks the most instability for the French government in 70 years. France's nationalist, anti-immigration party increased from obtaining 4% of parliamentarian seats in 2008 to 37% in 2024. Germany lost its government earlier this year.  Germany's anti-immigration party is supported by 24% of the country, up from virtually nothing ten years ago.  And Portugal faces instability, still run by a minority government, having completed its third election in three years in May.  Portugal's nationalist party increased from half percent in 2019 to 23% in the 2025 elections. Also, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, and Italy have experienced wide swings in governance — shifting to a nationalist position over the last 5-10 years. Daniel 2:21 reminds us that it is God who “changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” Cuba sends 5,000 troops to aid Ukraine despite grinding poverty Reuters reports that Cuba is supporting the Ukrainian War now with up to 5,000 troops. The communist country's economy is lagging badly — suffering a four-year decline in its Gross Domestic Product, with another decline forecasted for this year, reports InDepthNews.com. Inflation is running at 28%. The nation has suffered at least five energy blackouts this year so far.  And 89% of the populace suffers from “extreme poverty” according to a recent survey. Seven out of ten Cubans have stopped eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner due to lack of money or food shortages. Only 15% have been able to eat three meals a day without interruption. That compares with the next poorest countries in Central America. Just 16% of Guatemalans  and 27% of folks in Honduras have to deal with these levels of extreme poverty. Supremes consider Trump's tariffs, Hawaii's gun restrictions, &  trans sports As the US Supreme Court reconvenes, the docket holds a slew of cases. They include the legitimacy of the Trump Tariffs, the president's removal of high level administrative bureaucrats, Colorado's ban on counselors helping minors out of homosexual sin, Hawaii's gun restrictions, and bans issued by red states on boys pretending to be girls playing in girls' sports in public schools.  Trump's FDA approve a new Abortion Kill Pill The Trump Administration's Food and Drug Administration approved another abortion kill pill to accommodate the killing of children in their mother's wombs. Last week, the FDA approved Evita Solutions' generic abortion drug for the US market. This is hardly in line with the administration's pledge to “review all the evidence—including real-world outcomes—on the safety of the drug” issued just last month. Ostensibly, the big concern is the health of the mother. The FDA reports 36 deaths attributed to the abortion kill pill thus far, but 7.5 million murdered babies. 63% of the annual abortions committed in the country today are attributed to the abortion kill pill.  Isaiah 29:15-16 speaks to this. The prophet wrote, “Woe to you who hide deep from the Lord your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us? Who knows us?” You turn things upside down! Shall the potter be regarded as the clay, that the thing made should say of its maker,  “He did not make me”; or the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”? Mt. Everest hiker died, 200 others stranded in shock blizzard And finally, one hiker has died and 200 others are still stranded in a shock blizzard on Mount Everest over the weekend. The blizzard took about 1,000 hikers by surprise.  Thus far this year, five people have died on Everest. Last year's total was eight, and 18 others died on the treacherous slopes in 2023. About 800 people attempt to summit the tallest mountain in the world each year. Why Was Canaan Cursed? (Genesis 9 Explained) Why did Noah curse his grandson Canaan after getting off the ark? Was it just because someone saw him naked—or is there something much deeper going on in Genesis 9? (Get The Plot: Bible Overview here: https://enyart.shop/products/the-plot... ) In this video, Dominic Enyart dives into one of the Bible's most misunderstood and bizarre stories. You'll learn: -What “seeing the nakedness of his father” really means, -How Hebrew figures of speech change the entire meaning, -Why Canaan's birth was the result of incest—and how that explains centuries of conflict, -The biblical, moral, and historical implications of this tragic account, -How this story shaped the Jewish view of the Canaanites, -Why understanding this story helps make Genesis a rational, historical book—not a myth. This isn't a strange tale about a drunk Noah and a misunderstood curse. It's a clear and sobering look at sin, consequence, and the tragic fallout of rebellion. Kylee Griswold, managing editor at The Federalist and host of The Kylee Cast, is in for Jim on Monday's 3 Martini Lunch. Today, Kylee and Greg discuss the Virginia Democrats' attorney general nominee Jay Jones and his extensive texts wishing death for a political opponent and his children. They also discuss the ridiculously light sentence for the man who tried to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh and the media finally admitting facts about the D.C. crime rate that the right was touting months ago.First, they unpack the disturbing 2022 texts from the Virginia Democrats' current attorney general nominee, Jay Jones, who repeatedly told a Republican colleague he'd like "two bullets to the head" of then–House Speaker Todd Gilbert and even wished death upon Gilbert's child so it might convince Gilbert to change his mind on policy. Kylee and Greg break down Jones's weak responses to the scandal and the largely indifferent reaction from Virginia Democrats.Next, they recoil at a federal judge sentencing the man who plotted and tried to kill Justice Kavanaugh and other conservative justices after the Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked. While the Justice Department recommended 30 years in prison, Judge Deborah Boardman sentenced Nicholas Roske to only eight years. And a major factor seems to be that Roske started identifying as a woman after his arrest and Judge Boardman was worried about Roske in a men's prison. But Kylee also explains even more egregious actions by Boardman to whittle the sentence down to eight years. Finally, they shake their heads as The Washington Post suddenly discovers that D.C. police officials have been downgrading serious charges to make crime stats look better. Trump supporters pointed out this manipulation months ago when the president ordered a 30-day federal takeover of D.C. policing, but the media dismissed it at the time. The abortion market was a powerful economic force in American life. Before legalization lowered the cost, one million women each year collectively paid upward of $750 million for abortions. In The Abortion Market: Buying and Selling Access in the Era Before Roe (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2025), Dr. Katherine Parkin reveals the strength of a massive consumer market that involved loans, advertising, and travel, as well as the costs associated with the procedure itself. Laying the foundation for the emergence of a public market that facilitated the buying and selling of abortions, wealthy population control ideologues encouraged positive public discourse on abortion, funded medical studies, and waged legal battles. White, middle- and upper-class women sought out abortions and paid exorbitantly for them. Male entrepreneurs emerged to capitalize on the booming market and profit from the incredible demand. Advertising on billboards and in college newspapers, men profited by providing the phone number, getting kickbacks for delivering patients, and arranging for women's travel to Mexico, Puerto Rico, England, and Japan. Students demanded abortion access and organized when it came at a steep cost, especially to the poorest among them. Abortion providers in Kansas, California, and Washington, D.C. attracted out-of-state consumers, with some women aided by their universities or by medical insurance. Between 1970 and 1973, entrepreneurs, providers, and hundreds of thousands of women seeking to buy abortions headed to New York City, heralded by some as the “abortion capital of the world.” While we may have imagined that securing an abortion was best understood as a hidden, woman-only experience, The Abortion Market reveals the extent to which businesses and businessmen openly selling abortion access shaped the experience of buying abortions for millions of women. This interview was conducted by Dr. Miranda Melcher whose book focuses on post-conflict military integration, understanding treaty negotiation and implementation in civil war contexts, with qualitative analysis of the Angolan and Mozambican civil wars. Whether it's communicated in polls or at the ballot box, access to abortion is extremely popular in the United States. Yet, our rights are being blatantly stripped away—and abortion care won't be the only sexual and reproductive right to face attacks. Fatima Goss Graves, President and CEO of the National Women's Law Center, sits down to talk with us about the status of abortion access in the U.S., what to anticipate, and what brings her hope. We're experiencing a coordinated strategy by anti-abortion extremists to dismantle reproductive freedom nationwide. And they won't stop just at abortion—contraception and gender-affirming care will face the exact same attacks, likely using the same strategies. The fight for emergency abortion care continues, too. Post-Dobbs and Trump's “Big Beautiful Bill,” hospitals, especially in rural areas, will continue to close their obstetrics wards. Abortion care will be continuously  pushed farther out of reach. Support the showFollow Us on Social: Twitter: @rePROsFightBack Instagram: @reprosfbFacebook: rePROs Fight Back Bluesky: @reprosfightback.bsky.social Buy rePROs Merch: Bonfire store Email us: jennie@reprosfightback.comRate and Review on Apple PodcastThanks for listening & keep fighting back!

The straightforward interpretation is 99% of the time, the way to interpret Scripture.” * He Wrote the Books: Get both of Dr. McIntosh's books: Wonders of Creation and Genesis One to Eleven: a verse by verse commentary. * Truth Wins Out: Check out the Truth in Science organization over in England! Point 1:  We examine scientific evidence carefully and present it with honesty and integrity, especially to school and college students, both on our websites and through professionally produced media and resources. Point 2:  We expose the assumptions and methodological errors in some of today's widely accepted scientific models, and point out what is conjecture and based on a materialistic worldview. Point 3: In particular, we seek to clarify the meaning of the term "Evolution", so as to avoid careless acceptance of all its claims and supposed implications. Point 4:  We advocate models based on rigorous, observable scientific evidence in contrast to unproven hypotheses lacking in experimental support. Point 5:  We seek to lobby the Department for Education to permit, rather than censor, the attitude of healthy criticism integral to the scientific method, in school and college classrooms and laboratories.    * The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Hear Fred, Doug and Andy discuss the Bible, The Creation the Bombardier Beetle and men including: Thomas Eisner & Hermann Schildknecht. And hear them express their hope for the soul of Richard Dawkins!

This week, for nearly a century, the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival has staged a formal dance. Organizers rely on a manual that's been passed down for generations. Also, abortion is illegal in most cases in Tennessee. So, what happens after a birth? A photographer followed one mother for a year. And new prisons are touted as a way to bring jobs to former coal communities. Not everybody agrees the trade-off is worth it.

Charlie Kirk became the latest victim of gun violence in America on September 10. And he wasn't the only person shot on a school campus that day, nor was he the only political figure killed this year.  Unlike Melissa Hortman and her husband, the motivation for Kirk's murder remains unclear. That hasn't stopped right-wing pundits and politicians from framing it as typical extremist left-wing violence.  In between calls for civil war and censorship, the ramping up of police-state authoritarianism, and painting of the slain Christian Nationalist activist as a noble martyr, anti-racist icon Ta-Nehisi Coates called out the strange reflex from some left-of-center figures (like Ezra Klein) to participate in whitewashing Kirk's hateful politics. Today we discuss what happened and what it might mean.
