In the early 1990s, specifically from 1992 to 1995, Jeffrey Epstein leased a former Iranian diplomatic townhouse at 34 East 69th Street in Manhattan—property that the U.S. State Department had taken over after diplomatic relations with Iran ended. He paid $15,000 per month for the lease, and at some point sublet it to attorney Ivan Fisher and others.
