Alexander Sukhochev aka Sashanti is a disc jockey and music producer, who's the creative force behind premier nightlife brands such as Shanti Goa and Soma Project, in Goa. Sashanti has played a several legendary nightlife venues across the world, including Tresor (Berlin), Sisyphos (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Chapeau Rouge (Prague), After his first book, The Goa Syndrome (2007), which went on to be a bestseller in Russia, he is now involved in writing scripts and screenplays for movies both in India and Russia. His follow up book will be out soon. Sashanti studied journalism and has covered stories for the Russian government. Also a photography enthusiast, he has showcased his work ranging from Full Moon scenery and his time with the Toda Tribe in the Nilgiris, India. Sonia Filinto is a filmmaker and writer. In addition to working on several feature films, she has independently directed Shifting Sands and Bread & Belonging. Vishwaraj Jadeja is an elite athlete, and a Long track Speed skater, who has put India on the map for ice skating, while competing at the international level. In January 2019, he set an unofficial world record for the highest altitude ice skating, 5 kilometers on the frozen Tso Moriri in Ladakh. Jens Uwe Parkitny is a portrait photographer, a travel trade journalist, and a travel industry professional. He's the author of two coffee table books - Bloodfaces, and Marked For Life, which celebrate facial tattoos of Chin people, documented over a decade. Jens has also co-created Loikaw Lodge, a lakefront boutique accommodation in Myanmar's Kayah state. Although authentic meanings of these facial tattoos are not established yet, the intricate patterns seem to relate to right of passage, identity, and spiritual connections.
