In this thought-provoking episode of the Success Mindset Series, Clara breaks down the concept of “psychic thinking” — a subtle but powerful mindset block that often affects women entrepreneurs without them even realising it. Psychic thinking is what happens when you try to predict outcomes, read the minds of your audience, or take action based on imagined scenarios rather than facts, feedback, and clarity. This kind of thinking often masquerades as intuition, but in reality, it can lead to stagnation, avoidance, and self-sabotage. Clara explores how this habit shows up, how it blocks momentum, and why practical thinking grounded in the present moment is the foundation for sustainable success in business.Tune in to hear:When “following your intuition” may actually be a form of avoidance. Why over-forecasting and ‘psychic thinking' can lead to burnout and indecision. How to balance mindset and strategic action to move forward in business.A reset for women entrepreneurs ready to build aligned businesses from grounded clarity.Find the Complete Show Notes Here -> https://sigmawmn.com/podcastIn This Episode, You'll Learn:What “psychic thinking” is and how it can block your business growth. How to distinguish between intuition and avoidance.Tools to bring yourself back into the present when you feel overwhelmed or stuck. How to reclaim your power through clear, grounded action.Themes & Time Stamps:[00:00] Introduction to Success Mindset Series[01:26] Limited Spaces for 2025 Business Intensive[02:26] Understanding Psychic Thinking[03:22] Examples of Psychic Thinking[05:02] The Reality of Predictions[09:56] Distinguishing Anxiety from Intuition[10:58] Focus on What You Can Control[13:38] Avoiding Psychic Thinking in Business[15:25] Conclusion and Final ThoughtsFree Offerings to Get You Started:FREE 20 minute call to explore alignment in your businessWant to support the podcast? The third-party ecosystems of today's organizations have become more complex, more digital, and more extensive than ever before.  The need for an accurate picture of your vendor's security posture is greater than ever, with public and private sector organizations reporting a surge in cyber-attacks, and at the same time, continuing to experience and react to substantial disruption to their third-party ecosystems.  If your organization relies on traditional methods – like questionnaires and controls assessments – to gauge your third-party risks, it's likely you're underestimating your organization's exposure. Join us for a conversation moderated by ITSP where we will dig deeper into how you can get better visibility into your third- and fourth parties' security postures. We'll discuss:The complexity of the current state of third-party risk today and how vulnerabilities hidden in plain sight in the systems of many organizations and their third parties have become a target for cyber attacksHow to adapt third-party risk management and take proactive steps to uncover cyber risks and to understand the security posture of your third partiesTools and technologies that can help your organization assess third-party security risks quickly and deliver actionable, objective insights about third-party risks that could impact your businessWant to learn more? One of the most difficult tasks for creators today is building an active community behind their brand. In this episode, we talk with Opi Abeysekera, an Austin-based entrepreneur who is also the founder of Austin Food Heads. Opi is on a mission to showcase the best food options in Austin (not an easy task) and he leverages a massive following on Instagram to do that with incredible posts, reels and stories that showcase amazing restaurants and food all around the city. In today's world one of the most powerful ways to market not only your business but yourself is to leverage your social media. In today's conversation that's exactly what Opi shares with our listeners. Check out Opi & Austin Food Heads here : Austin Food HeadsCheck out the newest The Real Venture Podcast episodes directly to you - subscribe here. By focusing on the quality of content he was posting, Austin Food Heads quickly reached 1,000 followers. Following this quick growth, Opi sought out advice from his network. By using better hashtags and proper tagging on each post. Austin Food Heads skyrocketed to over 10,000 in the first 6 months.Understand the different forms of contentInstagram has multiple different forms of content that you can post, understanding the differences and what to post in each form is critical to seeing growth. With the recent competition on the user front from other platforms like Tik Tok, reels are a major content focus. IGTV is another form of content that allows for longer videos, great for uploading long interviews or podcast episodes. For everyday interaction with followers Instagram stories are great ways to share quick updates or answer questions. Using all these different forms correctly will lead to higher engagement and ultimately more followers for your social media accounts. How to leverage interactionsIf you are like most people, the first thing we look at when we upload a post is how many likes we have gotten. But as Opi shares, an Instagram Like is one of the lowest quality forms of interactions. The ultimate goal for every post is to increase the number of Saves and Shares. Instagram weighs these heavier than the traditional likes. Another great way to increase interactions is to leave longer thoughtful comments with more than 5 words. It's a great way to build community and increase conversations on each individual post.KEYWORDS SUMMARYinstagram, post, people, followers, restaurant, austin, food, app, big, interacting, accounts, engagement, ultimately, brand, content, page, platform, started, building, businessWant to be featured in an episode?
