Elis and John aren't on air for a large portion of July, as 5 Live continues to fill its public service broadcasting remit by providing world-beating sports coverage. With their holidays just around the corner (don't worry, there'll still be weekly bonus podcasts for you all to enjoy) an air of giddy excitement descended on the studio, with Producer Dave pulling out all the stops to try and tame radio's most unproducable duo. There was a Made Up Game for the biscuit purists amongst you, a Petty Parliament suggestion that was met with unanimous agreement, there was ANOTHER twist in 'DI Robbyns', and the guys put poor Nick Wallis through his paces during his first ever appearance on the show (sorry Mrs Wallis).

Stage 2 - The Specialty Stage - Time to Talk Pricing Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results. Stage 2, the specialty stage. Alright, here's where you–if you thought stage one was uncomfortable, we might have a little bit of an issue because that stage one, you've only shared the plan with yourself. You even–haven't actually told anybody yet. Stage two is where you really need to position yourself in the marketplace, alright? And pricing, your pricing is the largest, loudest language you speak of all the things that you do. Pricing is your language. A couple of things happen when you announce your pricing. Number one first thing you do is you tell the world who you are. Hi there, I'm Rolex, that's right. 90% of you can leave now. Thank you, whoever's left, alright. Let's have a look at those shitty watches you're wearing. And let's upgrade. Okay, let's get started, alright? There's a reality that you will be attractive to a certain type of company, and you will be unattractive to another type of company or client and that's alright. Like and follow this podcast so you can learn more. My name is Carl Gould and this has been your #70secondCEO.

MONEROTOPIA
It's an all new That Real Blind Tech show, and we have found Jeanine, she's alive, and we sucked her in to the That Real Blind Tech Show lair for a massive recap of WWDC 2022. So welcome back Jeanine Stanley, and Allison Meloy is here as well. Sorry Allison no creative lengthy intro for you. We start off finding out what the Matrix has been like, as that is the only reasonable explanation to where has Jeanine been. We start off discussing the new S lady, er, well it took us awhile but eventually we found a name for the new Sonos assistant, how about the S dude! We don't believe it is taken yet. Next before jumping in to everything WWDC, we discuss a landmark lawsuit coming in from Australia against Google and YouTube. Then it is on to WWDC 2022. We start off discussing the high quality audio description for this year's keynote, what some of our highlights were and if we had any disappointments from the keynote. We got two new Macs coming next month, an M2 Mac Air and a M2 Mac Book Pro. Will either of these devices be in any of our futures? We also got a new Apple 35W charger that will have two UsbC ports. We discuss the rumor that Eloquence voices are coming to the iPhone and Mac. We cannot confirm or deny this rumor. We then get in to what excites us most about iOS 16. We then discuss all the changes coming to the newly redesigned locked screen. Next we will be getting iCloud Family Sharing of the photo library. You will now be able to edit and delete sent messages, however, people will be able to tell that changes have been made to the message. Siri is going to kind of get smarter, as she will now be able to hang up phone calls and add emojis. Medication tracking is coming to the health app. Safety Check, a new feature will help people escape domestic violence. iOS 16 apps will now need to ask permission to access the clipboard, ugh. Haptic feedback will be coming to the keyboard, really, we thought it was already there for VoiceOver users. Apple Pay later is coming to Apple wallet, but is this really a good thing? Shockingly, we learned Apple Maps currently does not have multi-stop directions, well it will in iOS 16. We talk about sports scores and play by play coming to sports, and if you are an Apple News Plus member, you will be able to get news about your favorite teams, but some of us already have apps that do this. The Home app will get an all new badly needed redesign. In our favorite segment of the keynote, the Geek was back, as he told us all about the new Watch OS. I love this guy! We are not runners on this show, but lots of new things for those of you who have been known to run. More on sleep tracking to, but nothing about keeping Freddy out of those dreams. Mac OS Ventura is coming and is supposed to improve continuity between all of our devices. We discuss the new Stage Time coming to FaceTime and Zoom, and the new Desk. View. We try and figure out what the difference is between deleting a sent message and recalling one, as some of this stuff got quite confusing. Free Form collaboration is coming to the Mac, but will it be accessible, and useful? Stage Manager is yet another feature coming to the Mac, but again, will it be useful for VoiceOver users? And yet another new feature called App Windows will be coming to the Mac. Head can explode now. The biggest most revolutionary announcement at this year's WWDC, in our opinion, is PassKey, Apple's attempt to replace old school annoying passwords. Wow, if this actually works. The long awaited global nightmare of the iPad not having a weather app is over! We discuss Live Text and Jeanine gives us an example of how she has used it. And it's more of Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading. After a failed business in 1992, Darren took a dare and took the stage at an open-mic night at a Boston comedy club. He bombed miserably. It was horrible. The headliner that night told him to "keep your day job, kid." Friends told him that his dream of making people laugh for a living was crazy and stupid. He didn't listen. He may have been born without a funny bone in his body, but Darren possessed the desire to learn and the willingness to fail. This self-proclaimed student of comedy is living proof that anything can be learned. Less than nine years later, in 2001, Darren outspoke 25,000 contestants from fourteen countries to become the World Champion of Public Speaking. Ironically, it was with a funny speech. Some said it was one of the best speeches in the history of the contest. Since that victory, he has delivered keynotes in every state in the United States and forty-four international cities. He is passionate about showing people that if you pray, find the right mentors, and become a sponge, anything is possible. Jamaican producers may be pressing less and less vinyl but the island still churned out around two thousand 7" singles last year and these are our favourite rowdy ones. In the words of a Heatwave regular who got a sneak preview of the mix: "Who am I? The dancehall king" A look back at 2007 enables you to go from the filthy, nasty but undeniably inspirational sex talk of Beenie Man, Chamelion and 'Sweet' C to the sparse vocal angriness of that old Elephant bloke and then surrender to the leg-lifting power of the Matterhorn man. And you're just getting started. "Everybody start tek way yourself. Follow the riddim and tek way yourself" What jumps out when you listen to these tracks all together is the control each artist commands. You feel at their mercy, and they're merciless. Whether it's the riddims coming in that you know you know - but you don't know you know until you hear the drop, and then you're shaking your shit so hard you're not sure what you know any more - or the fierceness of the lyrics that are flying at you like you're in a video game and you can't move quick enough so you just start letting them hit you. Just. Let. Go. "Have you heard about that little boy in Jamaica?" Militaristic beats dropping left, right and centre make you feel like you're a kind of bashment brigadier going over the top of the trench. It's weird when you've hated so much of what Shaggy has put out in the past to hear him rip the arsehole out of the Heathen riddim. I thought there were no lyrics that could excuse Angel. "Return of the Indian. Truths and rights weh we come to tell the nation" Like most years, 2007 leaves you with the perplexing problem of Sean Paul. It basically comes down to the fact that your legs and hips and arse have more respect for his voice than your brain. It's a bit like when Elephant Man provides the sting in the tail of the whole mix with Three Step on the Madness riddim. You'd like to sit down and have a rest, drink a cup of tea or maybe work on your New Year's resolutions, but it all just has you reaching for the rewind button yet again.
