This means we should be start with something new without knowing the next steps. As the bible is saying: the next day provides for itself don't worry for the next day…/We all want security, because our mind is designed to protect us. And this is in the way to live an exciting or successful life. If we know everything in advance, life would be boring and even then we can't protect us. We need confidence and faith in ourselves and even better also in God… because we have only control over maybe 5% of our life! As an engineer you can maybe exclude 50% of the mistakes, errors when you construct something new… the other 50% will showing up later, and even after the product is produced, again 10% of construction mistakes will show up. Best example is the MS Windows system… If this is so why we should be afraid to start something new, why we should have fear of failure? For what is perfectionisms good? Why we have fear to lose our face? Why we don't want to make the mistakes that are necessary to learn our lectures in life? All the Security is just an illusion, if we live protected and don't risk much, even then nasty things, like accidents can happen.. I remember, when I was cycling home, it was raining and cold (November in Bremen) I had to wait on a red traffic light. The traffic light turned green and the car driver ignored that. In the last moment I could stop and the girl behind me hit the car and flew through the air. Horrifying!!!What have we really under our control? So why we can't take the risk and start with something new and trust that we can do it. We don't need to know the path in the beginning. Imagine you are driving with the car in the night from Chang Mai to Phuket (1600km), you can see only 50m, still you belief that you arrive in Phuket. When we decide to do it in anyway, then we get also the know how to do it… Just trust and life will be amazing. My video: Decide before you know the path… https://youtu.be/PYAGOqTYYMMMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/decide-before-you-know-the-path.mp3

Science and Art of Sexual Intimacy in Marriage: An Interview with Francie Winslow, Part 2 "Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge;" Isaiah 5:13 NKJV Questions and Topics We Discuss: Will you elaborate on the science of sex? When two become one, what has God designed to occur at a hormonal level? What is your best list of benefits that come from a husband and wife connecting sexually on a regular basis? Jesus captured Francie's heart at a young age, and she has been on an adventure following Him since then, fueled by a love for His word and His presence. As a young woman Francie served in Mother Theresa's home for the dying in Kolkata, sat in brothels with girls trapped in the sex trade of Chang Mai, slept in the bush of Namibia to reach tribal people and orphans with the Gospel of Jesus, visited the homes of the poor in the Dominican Republic, and helped with the rebuilding and development of a village in Sri Lanka after the 2004 tsunami. For the past few years, Francie has been focused on writing and speaking about God's good gift of intimacy in marriage. She's been featured on Christianity Today's blog and Moody Radio, The Don't Mom Alone Podcast, and Java with Juli, and several others as she shares about the power of sex in marriage. Most recently, she's launched a podcast called Heaven in Your Home where she talks all about sex, marriage and the mission of God. In it all, Francie is passionate about inviting others to experience God's tangible love that has the ability to transform every area of life. Francie has a BA in Political Science and a Masters degree in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Il. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession- to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:15–23 “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” Ephesians 2:8–10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.“ Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.“ Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." Philippians 2:3+4 NIV Questions and Topics We Discuss: What has the Lord taught you about sexual intimacy within marriage? How does sex that happens in the secret place inside our marriage overflow to the rest of our lives, benefitting each arena? The rehab based in Chang Mai specializes in a male treatment program that uses martial arts and physical exercise to rehabilitate clients. The five-star rehab offers residential care and online addiction treatment. What is a day like at Alpha Sober Living? The Alpha Sober Living program is centered around Recovery Zones. Mordey created the Recovery Zones program around his own ideology for connecting with individuals suffering from substance abuse. The Alpha Sober Living founder created the program during his time at The Cabin where he was the program director. Many of southeast Asia's rehab centers now use elements of the recovery zone method. Recovery zones uses elements of a secular 12-step program. It also adds in CBT and mindfulness to bring a holistic therapy to guests at Alpha Sober Living. The rehab program is never fully finished as elements and modules have been added to continually provide the best care possible to clients. It now incorporates a secondary treatment and sober living atmosphere for guests. What sets the Recovery Zones program apart from other rehabs is its focus on body-based therapies. Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Qi Gong, Yoga, and Vipassana meditation are all parts of the program, which give clients the chance to cleanse their bodies and minds. It also allows them to have focus and get their minds and bodies on the same wavelength. Alpha Sober Living has an in-house dojo allowing guests to practice their body-based therapies without leaving the center. Guests will also spend time in the outdoors amongst nature. The area around Chiang Mai is scenic with hills, forests, and trails to explore. Alpha Sober Living accommodation The rehab center is in a residential property that has been recently refurbished. The communal areas are impeccable giving clients the chance to sit and relax when studying. The Chiang Mai facility is first-class with an in-house meditation studio and an on-site health food restaurant catering to all diets from vegan to keto. Alpha Sober Living Modality Alpha Sober Living uses the Recovery Zones program which was created by Mordey. It incorporates elements of secular 12-step rehabilitation, CBT, and mindfulness. In this episode of The Business of Antiques Toma Clark Haines - CEO of The Antiques Diva & Co and Angela Somwaiya owner of https://paulsantiques.com/ (Paul's Antiques) in Bangkok discuss Angela's journey as an American expat running an antiques store in Thailand. Paul's Antiques is Bangkok's best antique shop popular among diplomats, expats, tourists and collectors. It's a veritable cornucopia of precious objects and furniture from South East Asia. Tucked in a quiet soi off bustling Sukhumvit, the store has an unparalleled collection of Burmese colonial pieces, Thai teak furniture, rare textiles, collectibles, and eclectic finds. Angela shares her story how she, as a Chicago native, adopted Thailand as her home and her decision to buy Paul's Antiques. She was raised shopping in flea markets and thrift stores in the USA so, when and her husband were decorating their Bangkok home, she frequented Paul's store to buy antiques. When she heard he was considering closing his store - she offered to buy it. This is a decision that changed her life. Paul's Antiques was founded in 1994 by Paul Vail, an American expat who settled in Thailand and fell in love with Burmese colonial teak furniture. Originally selling at exhibitions only, Angela and her husband were among Paul's first customers. Paul went on to revamp a 100-year-old teak house, which served as the first home for his vast eponymous collection complete with an in-house workshop for restorations and repairs. In 2008, Angela bought the business at its latest location in Sukhumvit Soi 13. She made her mark by expanding the collection to include pieces from all over Asia, such as lacquerware, statues, found-art, architectural salvage, and hard-to-find collectibles. She developed a revolutionary workshop and established a loyal customer base including some of Bangkok's most beloved hotels. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Japanese Studies and a Master's Degree in Thai Studies, Angela's passion for the cultural relevance of each object shines through when you inquire about a piece. Angela talks about the importance for antique dealers to know their inventory, understand the stories, and also relate their cultural significance. Educating her clients is at the core of Angela's business. Toma and Angela discuss Angela's decision to buy an established antiques store instead of starting her own business from scratch. They discuss the pros and cons of this situation -the pros involve optimized SEO, an established client list, and reputation; while the cons mean you have to set your own ego aside if the store is named after someone else. In the case of Angela, her store is named Paul's Antiques - so when clients walk in the door - they are looking for Paul. Angela details how, as she gained confidence as an owner of the store, people stopped asking for Paul and began looking to her because they could see by her confidence that she is the proprietor. Toma tells a story of how Angela is the essence of confidence when she walks through (and drives!) through the streets of Bangkok. They discuss the thrill of the hunt detailing how to buy antiques in Asia. Why Bangkok, Chang Mai, and Bali are the best places to source antiques in Asia and encourage you to book an antique buying tour in Asia. Toma tells how she and Angela first met and why she asked Angela to be the head sourcing agent for her antique buying tours in Asia. They talk about what it means to be “ahead of the curve”. How being first in a market place is not always easy and they discuss the future of antiques. Spoiler alert: the future is so bright, you have to wear shades. Visit our sponsor, The British Shop!
Sex in Marriage and Its Positive Effects with Francie Winslow, Part 1 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. What are a few positive messages to replace the negative lies we've previously bought into about sex? Thailand is not traditionally known as a country that produces specialty coffee, yet it has been producing Arabica coffee since the early '80s. It started off as part of the Thai King's opium eradication project. Because Arabica coffee thrives in conditions similar to those favoured by opium, it was selected as a substitution crop against the cultivation of the illicit plant. Today, Thailand produces about 8,000 tonnes of Arabica coffee, mainly in the mountainous north of the country. On top of that, Thailand produces about ten times as much Robusta coffee, making it the third-largest coffee producer in Asia. Thai specialty coffee is rarely seen in the top specialty roaster segment abroad. Thailand is a middle-income country and has a thriving local coffee market. That means relatively high production costs for a relatively undemanding coffee market. Having said this, a strong specialty coffee segment is emerging. At least on the consumer side, the Third Wave is quite well established, with artisan roasters and cafés in Bangkok and Chang Mai. These roasters have recently begun to develop and buy local coffees too, not least because of import tariffs on foreign coffees. However, this scene is still very small and hardly creates enough incentives for farmers to improve the quality of their coffee to specialty grade – at least for now. So even though they have been doing a great job at pushing the limits of Thai coffee, the specialty coffee scene would be greatly aided with more specialty coffee knowledge and global integration. Our sourcing partners Beanspire have been actively assisting the farming families of Doi Pangkhon to improve the quality of their coffee. For this lot, they specifically worked with two entrepreneurial siblings of the Becheku family from the Akha hilltribe: Ata and Pupae. At 31, Ata is the oldest of the three siblings. His entrepreneurial spirit and leadership is a force for change in his community. Pupae is Ata's 27-year-old sister. She worked in both Korea and Taiwan before returning home to Doi Pangkhon to help her brother produce coffee. Pupae speaks fluent Chinese, and she's a Chinese language teacher at a local school. The young Bechekus are third generation coffee farmers at Doi Pangkhon, and they represent one of the most inspiring aspects of the Thai coffee scene. The future of the entire specialty industry around the world is unclear, because farmers and their children are quitting coffee manufacturing for other more lucrative opportunities. Pupae and other people like her are returning home to work on coffee because they see a bright future in it, and they are farming coffee by choice; not because they lack other opportunities. Doi Pangkhon's coffee farms, at 1,250–1,500 metres above sea level, contain Caturra, Catimor, Bourbon and Typica cultivars. Such a mixture of cultivars allows farmers to mitigate various risks. For example, Bourbon and Typica tend to be weaker plants and sometimes come under attack from leaf rust and other diseases, but they have great cupping potential. Caturra and especially Catimor are more rust resistant and have a higher yield. Due to the famously fragrant soil in the Chang Rai area, even these hybrid varieties are capable of producing complex and delicious coffees, yet they could struggle if grown in different areas. Imagine a Cadbury's Wholenut - lashings of milk chocolate with a hefty sprinkle of hazelnut - and you're pretty much there with this coffee. Now throw in a sprinkle of macadamia nuts too and just a hint of caramel for a super moreish hug in a mug. Country: Thailand Region: Doi Pangkhong, Chiang Rai Altitude: 1,250–1,500 m.a.s.l. Nelio is a Full Stack Growth Marketer obsessed with building edgy digital brands and conversion funnels. He left a corporate career to join a startup that got bought by Uber for $3.1B, Careem. After that, he left Dubai to join a community of "Digital Nomads" in Chang Mai, Thailand where he met individuals working hard to build million $ businesses without investors, offices nor physical teams. Eventually, he moved back to Dubai to work on a new laundry start-up, "Washmen". In 14 months, without a team, they grew Washmen by 5X+, and closed a multi M$ Series B; Facebook even built a case study on the brand. What is the best place in the world for early retirees to live in? In today's episode, Julie plays voicemails, reads out tweets and emails from members of the FIRE community on the best places to live as a financially free retiree. We hear about places in the US, South America and everywhere else in the world! We also chat about... The best states and cities to live in the US What's important when considering a new city to live in Places outside of the US that are great to live in Enjoy this community episode, and please subscribe to us in iTunes if you enjoyed it! Show notes and links from today's episode Savvy History Legislative Lottery in New Mexico Financial Pilgrimage Post: 10 Reasons Why St. Louis is a Great Place to Raise a Family Stop Ironing Shirts Finance Clever The Earth Awaits PitchWire Key takeaways from our Community Episode 1 - Knoxville, Tennessee Christina and Matt give us a detailed explanation as to why Knoxville is such a great place for early retirees. The cost of living is low, there are many activities involving culture, sports and especially the outdoors; Knoxville has over 50 miles of trails and tons of public parks. The city has a big art and music scene, and the Discovery channel have their headquarters based there. The couple enjoy a high level of entertainment and believe they could not reach FI anywhere else. 2 - The state of New Mexico Debbie brings the state of New Mexico to the top of the list for early retirees. She mentions that public education is cheap and the legislative lottery is a big help for university students. In the summer the weather is warm and dry, and in the winter there's skiing and other winter sports. The only negative is that there is a lack of diversity when it comes to jobs, but for an early retiree this shouldn't be an issue. 3 - Places outside of the US Many other places are mentioned in the US as well in the rest of the world. Natalia talks about how amazing the health insurance in Costa Rica is, Finance Clever tells us about Medellin in Colombia and Colleen mentions Panama city. Other places mentioned are Lisbon, Chang Mai, Taiwan and the UK! Questions? Like or dislike? Leave us a comment! Want to support the podcast? Here are three things you can do. 1. Today you get to learn a bit about a guy named 'Daniel Dubie'. A world class con-artist if ever there was one. He was one of these people who travelled the world telling people he was Jesus and people believed him! Literally - people were giving him millions. Somehow, prime suspect Jon Onuma hooks up with this guy and was living all alone in a seaside estate in Kaneohe , Hawaii. One of Dubie' biggest victims was Herbalife co-Founder, Geraldine Cvitanoch. She married Dubie (who was already married) after meeting him just 30 days earlier. She then begins to sign over her Real Estate properties to him. She found out he was married and divorced him but it was too late - that money was GONE! Dubie was murdered in July 2006 in Chang Mai, Thailand. Another one of his scorned lovers had had enough and blew him away at a restaurant while he was having lunch!
Josh sits down with Flying Squirrel Outfitters founder Brian Carraway. Flying Squirrel Outfitters doesn't just stand out with a unique hammock design, they stand for a cause. After Brian moved from Seattle to Chang Mai in northern Thailand, he fell deeply into the world of entrepreneurship bringing his passion for hammocks with him. With that, he wanted to create a business model that would help raise the quality of life from some of the small villages in northern Thailand. We were lucky enough to sit down and listen to Brian's story; challenges, feats of success, and how his company is bringing steady work, a better wage, and a monumentally more comfortable work environment to seamstresses in the village of Chang Mai.
On why I love Chang Mai, and a discussion on exercising while traveling. Enjoy!
Tales from Thailand, Morocco, Myanmar, Kenya and the US-Mexico border. Kate Adie introduces correspondents’ stories. In a Chang Mai prison, Jonathan Head meets a woman facing more than a decade in jail, convicted of insulting the monarchy and sentenced under Thailand’s lèse majesté laws. Colin Freeman wonders whether change might be coming to Morocco as protests spread across the country – the largest since 2011, the era of the Arab Spring. Jonah Fisher looks back on his three and a half years in Myanmar and wonders how he went from eating cake with Aung San Suu Kyi in her home, to shouting questions at her at public rallies. Harriet Constable joins the roller-blading cool kids of Nairobi and finds a welcome distraction from warnings of violence ahead of Kenya’s upcoming general election. And on the US/Mexico border, Victoria Gill goes in search of the Sonoran Pronghorn as researchers try to assess what impact President Trump's plan for an "impassable barrier" might have on wildlife.

Anthony Rigogliosi, Founder of Podcast Ninja, went from being homeless and living out of his car in New York to becoming a global podcast ninja. It began when he was a manager at Best Buy but went through a few massive changes in his personal life when he found himself homeless. He shares his struggles with alcohol, cookie dough and the realization that his decisions had gotten him into this so it was up to him to start making different decisions to get different results. "I have an opportunity of a lifetime that I have to take." A defining moment was when he read the book The 4-Hour Work Week. He also started embracing the simplicity of the minimalist lifestyle and not having a lot of material possessions weighing him down. He then wrote down on a piece of paper, Thailand, and developed a plan to pursue a new life living overseas. In this episode we discuss... Working at Best Buy during the day, working overnights at Target. Sleeping in his car in the parking lot. Reading The 4-Hour Work Week. Writing down on a piece of paper one word, Thailand. Writing on his exit paperwork from Best Buy, "I have the opportunity of a lifetime and I have to take it." Buying a one-way ticket with a backpack and bicycle. Travel and explore to regain his piece. His first impression of Chang Mai when he landed. Conquering his fear after exploding his comfort zone. Biking over 2,000 kilometers across Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Running his savings down to $300. Teaching English to people in China. Getting from Hanoi, Vietnam to Chang Mai, Thailand on his last $300. $600 internship learning about podcast production for JohnnyFD. Learning about Affiliate Marketing and making money online. Starting his podcast production company, Podcast Ninja, to help other podcasters launch and produce their shows. His nomad life was more expensive than he had planned for and he soon found himself out of money when a timely call came from an established podcaster in Chang Mai, Thailand that was looking for an intern. That was the break that Anthony needed. He headed to Chang Mai that would lead to his new career as an entrepreneur and Podcast Ninja helping others launch and build podcasts. "Follow your heart and follow your dreams, and watch the world conspire to support you." If you have ever thought, I hate my life but I don't know what to do, you are not alone but Anthony proves that you do have the power to change your life and it just starts with a simple plan...Thailand. From BCB... http://bestofbcb.org/wu-283-amy-dapice-sept-at-bac/ Amy D'Apice isn't shy about her art. In this podcast she shares the secrets and stories of the last nine months as she has been creating art for her solo exhibition this September at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts. Though a long time Bainbridge Islander, about four years ago Amy moved to Chang Mai, Thailand, where she paints for most of the year. Each summer she returns to Bainbridge Island to visit with family and friends, and shares her art. Wherever she is, Amy has always been drawn to the unnoticed spots of beauty in the world around her. A constant for her is the reliability of those spaces: the cracks in the sidewalks, the alleyways, the window sills, the street urchins. And she paints them. Amy details her journey in her blog, Art Conspiracy (http://artconspiracy.net/blog/). She shares the good stuff as well as the hard, the times when inspiration hits and the times where she just has to show up and hope for the best. Amateur Traveler talks to Matt Kepkes of NomadicMatt.com about his trip to the ancient capitals of Thailand: Ayutthaya, Lopburi and Sukhothai. Before the capital moved to Bangkok it was in each of these three cities as invaders came in from what is now Cambodia and Burma and then were subsequently repelled. Instead of taking the night train to Chang Mai as many tourists do, Matt and his traveling companions explored these cities on the way. In their travels they found ancient temples (some in ruins and some well preserved), wonderful night markets, troops of monkeys, friendly people and a slice of rural Thailand.
