Oh man. What started off as a recap of recent games and early thoughts on Skaven turned into a throw down that is made the Tyson/ Paul fight look like slap fest. Rest assured dear listeners, despite the spice in the recording, we were immediately chatting normally after the episode. Sometimes we just get caught up in our respective passion for the game.

Bingo is just in the backyard enjoying some flossing. She's practicing a bit when Bluey comes up to her and asks if she wants to play grannies. Bingo obliges and the girls then proceed to be two destructive grannies. Bingo comes out of character every once in a while to floss again and the age old question arises: can grannies floss? They recruit the help of Nana and Bob and when they discover that Grannies can't indeed floss, Bingo is a little annoyed and leaves the game. Bluey is upset that Bingo left but also knows that she's right, so she remedies that by having Nana learn how to floss and Bingo is super happy about it and they keep playing. They barrel Bandit over with their car, he hurts something in his back, and the girls stand there and floss as Chillis helps Bandit and they both dream together of their future of flossing when they're old and gray.

Everyone Dies In Sunderland: A podcast about growing up terrified in the eighties and nineties
In November 1995 the sitcom Caroline in the City – Lea Thompson played a woman called Caroline who lived in a city – tried to boost its profile with crossover episodes with the (much popular) Friends and Frasier. In a completely unrelated note, this episode sees us team up with Lindsay and Madison from Ye Olde Crime podcast! They tell us all about the death of Joe the Quilter in Northumberland in 1826, the murder of an elderly quilt maker in rural Northumberland which ends up involving Prime Minister Robert Peel and King George IV. In the aftermath. Not the murder itself. The story isn't that good. A notorious crime which took place 4000 miles from them and ten minutes from us WHERE CLAIRE'S PARENTS MET AND WHERE OUR MUCH MORE SUCCESSFUL SIBLING BEX FROM THE GETTING EMOTIONAL PODCAST WAS BORN AND GREW UP but that they found first. Because the show is supposed to be about growing up terrified in the eighties and nineties we also take a trip back to 1995 to sort of remember OJ, the Oklahoma City bombing and the death of Leah Betts. Along the way there's Tank rampages! Keeping a chainsaw in the car! The odd (onscreen) sexual fetishes of Lea Thompson! Teddy Roosevelt appreciation! The inexplicably stateside popularity of Keeping Up Appearances! Terrible sexual education! An excellent football joke from 1995 which dies a death! In the words of Claire: “We're not a real true crime podcast, are we?”Claire eats roadkill. Gareth eats a sheep's head. John eats at Chillis. PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING AM I RIGHT? I'M HERE ALL WEEK! TRY THE PHEASANT! SERIOSULY, BEFORE GARETH TELLS THE STORY AGAIN! You can reach us on email everyonediesinsunderland@gmail.com, on Twitter at @everyonediespod, on Facebook and Instagram. You can reach them at @yeoldecrimepodcast on Twitter, on Instagram and at their website. There's a shoutout to the Getting Emotional podcast. As if the woman from The Guardian needs it. We're creating a new system. When you look at it in that way, that's activism in itself. And that's actually fighting against a system that has billions of dollars, that has been spending billions of dollars, and not even asking people what they like to eat. They're not even considering the health. We're in the middle of a pandemic and who gets hit the hardest, black and brown communities with underlying conditions. Those underlying conditions stem from what they're eating. I get to go into these people's apartments, look in their fridge and then look at their medicine cabinet and see all of these drugs that they're taking because of ailments that they got from food. Meanwhile, if they were to change up how they eat, we were able to reintroduce that in a public sense, because with the fridge it’s like we're telling people, listen you deserve to have access to this.” -Power Malu Power Malu and Eloísa Trinidad are the team behind Overthrow Community Fridge, New York City's first plant-based community fridge that sits outside of Overthrow Boxing Club. A community fridge is a form of mutual aid to address food insecurity. They supply food to people who have limited access to fresh groceries, and since the pandemic began, people have even less access – especially to nutritious food. In addition to being a longtime community organizer and activist, Power is also the Director of Community Affairs & Special Events at the Overthrow Boxing Club. Eloísa is the executive director of Chillis on Wheels, a nonprofit that focus on making veganism accessible to communities in need. She’s also the executive director of the Vegan Activist Alliance, a New York organization that fights to end animal exploitation.

Garden Doctor Hester Macdonald steps into the studio with Katt Cullen to run through all of your garden questions. Sonia was looking at how to optimise her chilli crop. She planted them during lockdown and really wants them to thrive. (1 min 30) Rachel (4min 32) is obsessed with coriander, a.k.a. cilantro, and wants to keep her plants alive! The sad truth though - it's not you, it's them, but Hester can definitely help them last longer, at least. Today we also had a couple of questions about cherry trees. Glyn's tree appears to be leaking (9min 48) and Diane just wants her tree to produce some fruit (14min 16). The first step is to determine whether it's an ornamental cherry tree, because those will never produce fruit. Otherwise, there are lots of factors. We'll run through a few that might help. . Lastly Les has kittens! He's wondering if there's a way to stop the other farm cats coming into his garden, whilst not making it unpleasant for his new fur-balls. (21min 42) Hester and Katt take a look at some humane and gentle ways to try to divert cats away from your outdoor space. Happy Gardening !

In November, he generously cut me out an hour of his time to chat in a park about his illustrious life and career journey to date. He's worked with with nearly every big Ozzy broadcaster you can think of and has hosted the national current affairs programme, The Feed for SBS Australia since 2013. Marc was introduced to global audiences this year when his Audible original podcast It Burns: The Scandal-Plagued Race to Breed the World's Hottest Chilli shot up the Audible USA charts. At the time of writing, it has received over 6,500 reviews! He's reported all around the world, from the 2019 Hong Kong Protests to survivors of ISIS torture and Marc's one-on-one interviews with celebrities and newsmakers like Al Gore, Tom Cruise and Julian Assange have garnered over 30 million online views and 3 United Nations Media Award Nominations.
