Reiki is a transformational energy healing practice that has profoundly changed our lives. In this episode, Angela Hoogeveen and Geneva Robins share their experiences with learning Reiki and how it has helped them in their lives in large and small ways.Protect Your Energy With ReikiBoth Angela and Geneva are strong empaths and spent their early lives bombarded with energy. Being too sensitive was a common theme, but Reiki provided a way to stay sensitive and in tune and provided a powerful tool to protect and clear their energy.Staying grounded and clear is a key practice that is taught in Reiki Level I and is a very safe method to help sensitive souls survive an energetically noisy world. How is Reiki Life-Changing?Reiki sessions can powerfully clear stuck and stagnant energy, helping you feel peaceful and clear in only a few minutes. Learning Reiki is a game-changer for sensitive empaths because you always have that connection to that strong, protective frequency of Universal Life Force energy. Even a few short minutes of self-healing can completely shift your energy state, bringing well-being on many levels.Start With a Reiki Session or Self-Healing MeditationThe best place to start if you feel you're an empath or highly sensitive person is to try a Reiki session for yourself. Experience is the best teacher! You will quickly know if Reiki works for you in a session or two. (We have great package rates if you are trying it for the first time!)If you'd rather dip your toe in first, then try one of these self-healing meditations:Self-Healing MeditationMyofascial Healing MeditationKindness and Courage Self-Healing MeditationIn a self-healing meditation, you get guided along to clear your energy, ground, balance your chakras, and put a strong protection energy in your aura. In only a few minutes, you can improve your energetic state and feel peaceful and radiant.Learn Reiki for Total Life TransformationLearning Reiki puts the energy literally at your fingertips. You begin a process of self-healing and inner discovery in Level I, a great primer on your meditation and self-healing practice. Level II helps you anchor the energy even further and teaches you key skills in assisting others with Reiki sessions as well as boosting up your own self-care practice. Level II helps you learn to shield your energy with the Reiki symbols, some very powerful tools to have even for your own self-care, even if you don't plan on doing Reiki on anyone else.Level III is the advanced Reiki training level, and it helps you learn to assist others with powerful sessions to clear energetic blocks. You learn to manifest with Reiki and bring a Divine unconditional love into your heart.Master Level training helps you create a lifelong learning mentality to your Reiki practice. You develop skills to assist others with transformative healing attunements and also learn how to pass Reiki symbols to others if you choose to go on to teach Reiki. Many people who take our Reiki courses, even all the way to Master Level, do so for their own spiritual expansion and growth. Each level has profound and deep lesions that can enrich your experience and create a pathway for deep connection to your spiritual well-being.Check out our course pages for more information or our upcoming courses schedule to find out when the next one is offered. “Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation. Great are the works of the LORD, studied by all who delight in them. Full of honor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever.” — Psalm 111:1-3 Submit a Podcast Listener Question HERE! Celebrate 40 Years of CGSUSA FAQs about the 40th This year, we are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the United States Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. From August 22-25, 2024, we will gather in person in Phoenix, Arizona, and we will broadcast via livestream for those who cannot attend in person. We look forward to you joining us for this celebration. In these days, we will remember our legacy, celebrate our present work with the children, and pray for our future in the coming of the Kingdom as we join this friendship of catechists upon which our association is founded. Mary Mirrione began working with CGS in 1992. She and a team of catechists and parents built atria at St Anne's in Gilbert, Arizona for their 1800 children. She has been a formation leader since 1997 serving as such at home and abroad. She also works with Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity throughout the United States and around the world. Mary served on the Board for CGSUSA and is a graduate of the first cohort at Aquinas Institute of Theology to receive a Masters in Pastoral Studies with an emphasis in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She is a faculty member of Kino Catechetical Institute in the Diocese of Phoenix. Since 2010, she serves as the National Director for the United States Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Karen became involved with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in 1990 when her oldest daughter was four years old. She was moved by the spiritual depth offered to the youngest children and found this approach to faith formation personally enriching as well. She helped to begin all three levels of atria in the first church in Georgia to offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She also enjoys introducing adults to this method of catechesis as a CGS formation leader. Karen joined the staff for the United States Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in 2004 as Director of Formation. Her work supports formation leaders and catechists through communications, conferences, ongoing formation and resources as well as in responding to a variety of inquiries and pastoral concerns about CGS. Karen is one of two US representatives to the International Council. She also was part of the first cohort to complete a Masters in Pastoral Studies in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at Aquinas Institute of Theology. Karen currently serves as a Level III catechist for a church in her area. Her children, now young adults, all were involved in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. For further questions about CGS you can email Karen at karenmaxwell@cgsusa.org We invite you to assist with our celebration: Please tell us where the atrium you serve is, the names of your catechists, and the first names of the children you serve in the atrium, so we may include all their names on our prayer table when we gather next August. We ask that you email this information to Susan Stuhlsatz‑Reese at susansr@cgsusa.org We are counting on you! We are also happy to share with you that our new and improved atrium locator is now up and running! As part of our “soft launch” to make sure all is working well we are inviting you to take a first look and add your atrium if it is not there yet: Find CGS Near Me – Atrium Locator. Please consider also listing your atrium in the atrium locator. Video for easy instructions HERE We know many catechists have gone before us to share in the heavenly banquet. We want to remember each of them. If you know a catechist who has died, please send us their name, a small bio or obituary, the gifts they shared with our CGS community and if possible, a photo. Please share with Mary Heinrich at maryheinrich@cgsusa.org. We have opportunities for sponsors to contribute to our event fund. Please let us know of any individuals, groups, businesses, or organizations you know who may be willing to contribute. We will have some wonderful opportunities for our sponsors, more information will be coming soon. AUDIOBOOK: Audiobook – Now Available on Audible CGSUSA is excited to offer you the audio version of The Religious Potential of the Child – 3rd Edition by Sofia Cavalletti, read by Rebekah Rojcewicz! The Religious Potential of the Child is not a “how-to” book, complete with lesson plans and material ideas. Instead it offers a glimpse into the religious life of the atrium, a specially prepared place for children to live out their silent request: “Help me come closer to God by myself.” Here we can see the child's spiritual capabilities and perhaps even find in our own souls the child long burdened with religious information. This book serves as a companion to the second volume, The Religious Potential of the Child 6 to 12 Years Old. The desire to have this essential text available in audio has been a long-held goal for many. The work of many hands has combined to bring this release to life as an audiobook. She and her husband, Bob, live in Germantown, TN. NAMTA Quote: The following is a quote from the Spring 1999 NAMTA conference entitled The Spiritual Development of the Child in which Sofia spoke via videoconference: “…Of course, there are other traditions, which stress different richness and propose different ways of relationship with the transcendent. To be faithful to my tradition-is it a limitation? In some sense it is, but I have to remember here that there is another basic human need: to belong. We want to belong to a family, to a country, to a culture, and so on. To be a citizen of the world is a very noble ideal and aspiration, but there is a risk in it: the risk of becoming somebody without roots, somebody who has no soil under his or her feet. In this regard, we have to learn a lesson from nature; in nature there are many trees, small ones and big ones, and in order to be alive they have to strictly observe a rule: the breadth of the foliage has to correspond to the size of the roots. If there is not a balance between the foliage and the roots, the tree will fall down and die. In human beings, the roots are our traditions and the foliage is the capacity of being open to wider and wider horizons. We have to take care of both. Only if we are firmly bound to our soil-our tradition-will we be able to have a vital interchange with other cultures and traditions. Only if we are firmly rooted in our tradition will be able to offer others our richness, be open to receive others' richness, and be capable of taking advantage of it.” Further Reading: Purchase Nurturing the Whole Child HERE Other Episodes with Donna or Anna: Episode 35- Baptism with Donna Turner Episode 41- The Elementary Aged Child with Anna Hurdle Other Episodes About Ecumenism- Episode 29- CGS and Christian Unity with Bishop Talley Learn more about the 40th Anniversary Celebration of CGSUSA HERE AUDIOBOOK: Audiobook – Now Available on Audible CGSUSA is excited to offer you the audio version of The Religious Potential of the Child – 3rd Edition by Sofia Cavalletti, read by Rebekah Rojcewicz! President Xi Jinping issued an instruction on flood prevention and disaster relief work on Tuesday, ordering all-out search and rescue efforts to save those missing or trapped in floods and geological disasters caused by Typhoon Doksuri.Xi, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, also called for efforts to minimize casualties.Due to Typhoon Doksuri, which caused extreme precipitation in northern China and areas along the Yellow and Huaihe rivers and other places, flooding and geological disasters were triggered and inflicted major casualties in areas such as Beijing and Hebei province. He asked all areas to make every effort to search for and rescue missing or trapped people, ensure proper treatment of those injured and provide comfort to the families of the victims. The affected individuals should be properly resettled, and damaged infrastructure such as for transportation, communication and electricity should be repaired as soon as possible in order to restore regular production and daily life, he said.Xi emphasized that the nation is currently undergoing a critical period in flood control. The president asked the authorities to reinforce monitoring, forecasting and early warning, enhance inspection duty, focus on critical parts and places for flood control, fully carry out flood control measures with precision, and make every effort to protect lives and property and secure social stability. The instruction came as what is left of Typhoon Doksuri continued to dump rain on many parts of northern China on Tuesday, though the rain has been decreasing in its intensity.Continuous downpours have lashed Beijing since Saturday, leaving at least 11 dead and 13 missing, according to local flood control headquarters.Six of the deceased are from the mountainous Mentougou and Fangshan districts, the worst-affected areas in Beijing, the headquarters said.As of 6 am on Tuesday, Beijing recorded average precipitation of 257.9 millimeters. Mentougou and Fangshan received precipitation of about 470 mm and 415 mm, respectively, it said. The average annual precipitation in the capital, however, is only about 600 mm.To date, around 127,000 residents across the city have been relocated due to the rainfall, the headquarters said. The lingering rainfall forced Beijing authorities to put a flood detention reservoir into operation on Monday. It is the first time that the Zhaitang reservoir has been used to detain floodwater since it was constructed for the purpose in 1998.Torrential rains have also battered North China's Hebei province since Saturday, leaving nine dead and six missing, local authorities said.Flood control authorities in Hebei and Tianjin have also resorted to rarely used flood detention areas to cope with the deluge. On Tuesday, five flood detention areas in the Haihe River basin were put into use, amid the constant and accelerated influx of rainwater into water bodies in the basin, according to the Haihe River Water Conservancy Commission. The flooding was so severe in Tianjin, where the trunk of the Haihe is located, that local authorities upgraded the emergency response for flood control from Level III to Level I, the highest in the country's four-tier emergency response mechanism, at 1 am on Tuesday.Hebei has lifted the sluice gates of the Langouwa flood detention area, in a move to relieve flood control pressures in its downstream areas along the Daqing River.According to the National Meteorological Center, Lincheng county in Hebei received the largest cumulative precipitation of 994.6 mm among all areas affected by the rainfall, which started on Saturday. The use of Langouwa, which has an area of 228 square kilometers and a capacity to store 323 million cubic meters of water, will help mitigate the impact of flooding in the Xiong'an New Area, the Ministry of Water Resources said in a media release on Tuesday.Typhoon英/taɪ'fuːn/美/taɪ'fʊn/n.台风Downpour英/'daʊnpɔː/美/'daʊnpɔr/n.倾盆大雨﹐滂沱大雨

Are they or the program active with AWS Education and Membership? • Private Welder Training programs, usually several are more costly and focus more on “arc on time” -to get you employed, typically, (not all) less on the science and technical aspects, of course, a good option for many in career transitioning, needing employment expedited, there is a balance.• AWS Welding Journal April 202O issue includes 50 programs/colleges and private welding programs, as well as several relevant short articles in that month -publication… again a great benefit of membership, is discussed in the last episode.• ABET and ACCSC Accreditation of programs one should consider and verify if the program has. • Checking and confirming the instructor's qualifications, and certifications for both welding and NDT. The ALL ME® Podcast Bloodwork Analysis and Athletic Performance - Jennifer Gibson, MS, RD There are more than 7 billion clinical lab tests performed in the US each year. Some of these tests are part of a routine checkup for individuals while others dive much deeper into evaluating someone's health. Athletes are no different in that many collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes have specific blood panels drawn and evaluated before they start their respective seasons. But what is the significance around this as can the results of an athlete's blood work have any impact on performance markers. In this podcast, we speak with Sports Dietitian Jennifer Gibson who has worked with Olympic and Professional athletes about specific markers that are a critical part of the assessment process of her job. We discuss which markers are most commonly deficient or elevated in athletes along with specific blood work that can influence and athlete's recovery, strength, and level of inflammation. Furthermore, we dive into common nutrient deficiencies that she has seen on a regular basis along with strategies to correct them. “We know that all things work for good for those who love God” Romans 8:28 Karen Maxwell joins us on the podcast again to answer many of the questions that people have as they are first beginning their journey in The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. What is the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd? How do we begin CGS in my parish or school? What is CGS adult formation like? How do I get all the materials? What is an atrium? How many adults do I need to start CGS at my parish or school? Do I need to do the formation in succession? How much does it cost to start CGS? How much time needs to be allotted for an atrium session? Are there books that are recommended for those just starting to be curious about this work? For further questions about CGS you can email Karen at karenmaxwell@cgsusa.org Link to PDF Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: An Introduction Another episode with Karen about Catechists Formation To listen to the article Characteristics of the Good Shepherd Catechesis by Sofia Cavalletti The Religious Potential of the Child The Good Shepherd and the Child: A Joyful Journey The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in the Parish Setting For a list of episodes to help you dive into the chapters in The Religious Potential of the Child and The Good Shepherd and the Child: A Joyful Journey The Characteristics of The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd #3 states that: The atrium is a community in which children and adults live together a religious experience that facilitates participation in the wider community of the family, the church, and other social spheres. We see the atrium as a place of prayer, in which work and study spontaneously become meditation, contemplation, and prayer. The atrium is a place in which the only Teacher is Christ; both children and adults place themselves in a listening stance before his Word and seek to penetrate the mystery of the liturgical celebration. The Story of a CGS Family with Kelly and Maureen Stone and Elizabeth Burghart “We love because he first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19 Deacon Kelly and Maureen Stone with their daughter Elizabeth Burghart join us on the podcast to share their story of how they ALL got involved in the work of The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and how it has changed their lives and spiritual work. Kelly and Maureen Stone live near Indianola and attend St. John the Apostle in Norwalk, Iowa . They married in 1979 and have five grown married children and 14 grandchildren. Kelly is an engineer and Maureen is an educator. Maureen began a Level I Formation Course in 2002 and continued on to Level II and Level III. She has served as a catechist in local parishes for 20 years. In 2018 she had the great pleasure of attending a national seminal Infant/Toddler formation in Scottsdale, AZ. Through the years she has served on the local Shepherd Staff board which hosts Formation Courses and promotes Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in Iowa. She worked as an assistant at School of Mary ~ Montessori in the Des Moines Metro from 2014-2018. Maureen's husband, Deacon Kelly, and four daughters, Meggan Young, Elizabeth Burghart, Mary Wolf and Ginny Rossi are Catechesis of Good Shepherd catechists. She helped coordinate the growth of CGS for a local parish for 10 years. She is currently a volunteer coordinator for CGS at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Norwalk, Iowa Deacon Kelly began a Level I Formation Course in 2013 after assisting in the atrium. He had spent many years prior to his Formation listening to other family members and friends speak of the joy and grace in the work! In 2014, as his Level I course was coming to an end, he heard a call to become a deacon. He was ordained to the permanent diaconate in August 2018. He is currently assigned to St. John the Apostle church in Norwalk, Iowa. He assists in CGS as a substitute catechist and material maker. He also leads baptism classes and relies heavily on "Baptism is a Beginning", edited by Rebekah Rojcewicz. Elizabeth Burghart lives in Atchison, KS with her husband, and three children. She is a Level III catechist at St. Benedict Parish and a Primary Assistant for Holy Family Montessori Co-op. From Elizabeth Burghart – “When I was thirteen years old, I saw the Eucharistic Presence of the Good Shepherd presentation. I was deeply drawn to the work and I was eager to receive training. I was permitted to join an upcoming Level I Formation Course. At the time, I did not know the remarkable impact Catechesis of the Good Shepherd would have on my life. My early years as a catechist were enriched by meeting Sofia Cavalletti and Silvana Montanaro in Rome. I soon went on to receive training in Levels II and III as well as Primary Montessori training. I have had the joy of serving as a Catechist of the Good Shepherd since 2008. Throughout my work, whether in parishes, Montessori schools or my own home, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd has been a strong foundation and inspiration. CGS is a “golden thread” in my life. Indeed, it is one of the greatest gifts I have received.” A Call for Nominations to the CGSUSA Board of Trustees All nominations, nominee biographies and answers to questions must be received by Saturday, October 1, 2022. We are pleased to announce that the nomination process for the CGSUSA Board of Trustees is now open! Service on the Board is open to all members. Additionally, she serves as Secretary and director on the board of Kolbe Prison Ministries and is a member of the San Antonio Kolbe CORE team. She is also the mom of a 22 year old daughter, Hannah Rose, who grew up a child of the atrium. In The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, we have 32 Points of Reflection that are intended to represent the principal aspects of the catechesis as they have developed after more than sixty five years of work with children of different countries, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Kathleen's work of using CGS in her prison ministry work is a great example of characteristic #26 in action: The primary commitment of the catechist is working with the children in the atrium; however, this commitment also leads the catechist to be open to the needs of the catechesis in general and making him/her responsive to other forms of service which can be necessary. There is a Summer Catechist Study Day coming up on August 16th from 7-9pm ET. This is for CGSUSA members. This is an opportunity to hear some thoughts on Sustaining the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in a Parish Setting from CGSUSA national director, Mary Mirrione who also has 19 years serving as director of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in a large parish in Gilbert, AZ. Colorado is averaging a playoff high 4.61 goals a game. Tampa Bay’s 2.41 goals against is the lowest of any team that made it past the first round. The Lightning know from prior postseason runs how to adjust their style of play for their opponent. This series is another test of containing a team that can fly up and down the ice and fill the net. NHL – Signs Point to Lightning star returning for Cup Final Game 1 Indications are Brayden Point will return for the two-time defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final at the Colorado Avalanche. Point has missed the past month after injuring his right leg in Game 7 of the first round against Toronto. Coach Jon Cooper says things are trending toward Point playing in this series opener. Point took part in the Lightning’s final full team practice before Game 1 skating like he was never injured. He was Tampa Bay’s leading goal-scorer in each of the past two Cup runs. NHL – Knights hire Cassidy Bruce Cassidy has been hired to coach the Vegas Golden Knights a week after being fired by the Boston Bruins. Cassidy becomes the Golden Knights’ third coach. He replaces Peter DeBoer, who was fired after Vegas missed the playoffs for the first time in its five-year history. Cassidy had a 245-108-46 record and led the Bruins for the playoffs for six straight seasons. He was fired on June 6, a month after the Bruins lost a seven-game first-round series to Carolina. Golf – McIlroy questions competitive desire of players in LIV Golf Rory McIlroy says he was wrong about his prediction in February that the Saudi-backed rival golf league was “dead in the water.” He says that’s because he took at face value players like Dustin Johnson who said they were staying on the PGA Tour. McIlroy also described the LIV Golf league as a “pre-Champions Tour” circuit because of the ages of those interested. He says their best days are probably behind them. But he remains curious why younger players like Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed would go over. McIlroy says speaking for himself, at 33 he feels his best days are ahead. The report gave no timeline for Griner’s trial, but cited a top Russian diplomat as saying that she will not be considered for detainee swaps until her case has been investigated. The 31-year-old WNBA center was arrested on suspicion of drug smuggling after Russian airport authorities claimed in February to have found cannabis products in her luggage. Her supporters have expressed concern that Moscow will use her as a bargaining chip amid tensions over its war in Ukraine. NCAA – No angst about college athletes cashing in at 1st NIL summit Hundreds of college athletes from schools all over the country are in Atlanta this week. They are attending the inaugural NIL Summit. They are learning from companies about how to build their brands. The summit is the first since the NCAA cleared the way for college athletes to earn endorsement money last July. The NCAA was not at the summit and neither were athletic directors from the nation’s biggest schools. NCAAFB – NCAA athletes still excel in classroom despite pandemic NCAA athletes saw their overall four-year Academic Progress Rate increase to 984, a one-point jump from the most recent data publicly released in May 2020. College sports’ largest governing body opted not to release last year’s numbers because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Men’s basketball finished at 968, up two points from 2020, while baseball, football and women’s basketball all remained even with their 2020 averages at 977, 964 and 983. NCAAWBKB – UConn self-reported 15 minor NCAA violations in 2021 UConn’s athletic department self-reported 15 minor NCAA violations in 2021, including a women’s basketball player accepting cash $40 from fans. The violations were first reported Tuesday by Hearst Connecticut Media, which obtained details of them through a Freedom of Information Act request. They included four violations by the women’s basketball program, three by the football program, and one each in men’s soccer, baseball, softball, field hockey and women’s tennis. The athletic training department and the compliance department also were cited. All 15 violations were considered to be Level III “breach of conduct” violations by the university, the least serious category of NCAA violation. The All England Club has announced that Williams was awarded a wild-card entry for singles. Williams has not competed anywhere since getting injured during the first set of her first-round match at the All England Club a year ago. And her name did not appear on the women’s singles entry list released by the grass-court Grand Slam tournament earlier this month. But Williams was among six women given a spot in the singles draw via wild cards. The grass-court Grand Slam tournament begins June 27. Williams has won seven of her 23 major championships there. Tennis – US Open – US Open lets Russian tennis players in after Wimbledon ban The U.S. Open will allow tennis players from Russia and Belarus to compete this year despite the ongoing war in Ukraine. That war prompted Wimbledon to ban those athletes. U.S. Tennis Association CEO and Executive Director Lew Sherr tells The Associated Press that the USTA Board decided to let Russians and Belarusians enter the tournament because of “concern about holding the individual athletes accountable for the actions and decisions of their governments.” Sherr said athletes from Russia and Belarus will play at Flushing Meadows under a neutral flag. The U.S. Open starts on Aug. 29. NFL – Detroit Lions sign Devin Funchess to add depth at tight end The Detroit Lions are giving Devin Funchess a chance to make a comeback in the NFL. Detroit signed him as a tight end on Tuesday to add depth to a position group led by T.J. Hockenson. Funchess has not played in the league since 2019. Carolina drafted him out of Michigan in the second round of the 2015 draft and he had 21 touchdown receptions over four seasons with the Panthers. NFL – Bears’ progress at minicamp comes without DE Robert Quinn Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields and wide receiver Darnell Mooney continued building a passing connection as the team’s mandatory minicamp opened Tuesday, but the defense is trying to get by without no-show pass rusher Robert Quinn. Although coach Matt Eberflus had expressed the belief Quinn would attend the workouts, he was absent after also missing all of the Bears’ offseason voluntary work. Quinn is under contract through 2024. NFL – Deshaun Watson again denies sexual misconduct claims Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson says he’s determined to keep fighting to clear his name and insists he never committed sexual misconduct. He stood by previous comments proclaiming his innocence. Watson is facing civil lawsuits from 24 massage therapists in Texas accusing him of sexual assault and harassment. But Watson says he never assaulted, harassed or disrespected anyone. Watson was speaking publicly for the first time since March 25, a week after the Browns signed him to a fully guaranteed $230 million contract despite his complex legal situation. Since then, his legal entanglements have grown with two more women filing lawsuits. NFL – New Charger Mack making progress during busy offseason It has been a busy offseason for Khalil Mack since being traded from the Chicago Bears to the Los Angeles Chargers. In addition to becoming familiar with new teammates and getting up to speed on a new defense, the outside linebacker has been rehabbing from last year’s foot surgery. Considering everything that has gone on the past three months, Mack seems pleased with his progress. Mack has spent most of the practices working on the side, but he was participating in the 11-on-11 walkthroughs during the first day of minicamp on Tuesday. He said the rehab process has been smooth so far and that he should be ready for the start of training camp in late July. Remain quiet and process what their emotional experience is. Step 3: Reflect back the emotion. Look for involuntary responses of the body relaxing like: Nod of the head Verbal Response Dropping shoulders Sigh Ask the questions: What do we do to fix this? What makes this right? What makes these situation better? We learn about listening each other into existence and how taking the time to listen to others emotions and let people be heard is a key factor in peaceful relationships.
