I had such a great conversation with Michael David Huey and I absolutely love his brand and podcast—HeFluence. Michael is originally from Lancaster Ohio. After High school he attended The Ohio State University.Where  he was a 4 year letterman in track and field. He also received a Graduate degree in nutrition, exercise science and sports management.  Michael has an 8-year theology degree in Christian Studies from Christian Life School of Theology and is currently in the process of getting his ordination into marketplace ministry. He is also a master educator for the American Council of Exercise, holds 25+ certifications from fitness and nutrition to anti-aging. Sascha Gorokhoff is an expert in mentoring. He is the mentor to the mentors, to the high-achievers, and those who want to reach those levels. He joined me on the podcast to talk about his story of overcoming so much in his life and how he was able to focus on and utilize the unique advantages that life presented to him. We also talked about how he now uses what he has learned to mentor others to do the same. Sascha overcame more life challenges than a lot of us could even imagine. He was born severely disabled with Spina-Bifida Myelo-Meningocele, with a Hydrocephalus, and with Arnold-Chiari II syndrome. To put it simply, according to the medical community who understands these terms, he should have never walked, been paralyzed from the waist down, and mentally challenged. Moreover, he was the son of a mother believed to suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder coupled with Narcissism and she was also a hypochondriac. His father died from a heart attack when Sascha was 16 years old. These are only some of the challenges he overcame. Sascha also authored his book: "The Leadership Journey For The New Millennials Turning Tragedy Into Triumph" available everywhere books are sold, as well as "From Victim To Victory: A Leadership Journey" He holds two Bachelors and one Certificate from Webster University, and a Masters Degree from Graduate Institute of Development Studies, in addition to two executive education certificates from IMD Business school ranked #1 by Financial Times in open education for the eighth year in a row.
