Ryan wrestles with a piercing question sparked by Charlie Kirk's testimony: Are we actually called to purity—or is purity the assumed condition of a life on mission for Christ? Drawing from Kirk's own words about victory over pornography and Psalm 97:10, Ryan reframes purity not as an end in itself but as the necessary overflow of loving Jesus and pursuing His calling with focus.Topics DiscussedPurity vs. purpose: which is the calling and which is the conditionLessons from Charlie Kirk's testimony and focusThe danger of letting the “fight for purity” become a lifelong distractionPractical safeguards (accountability, tech tools) in their proper placePsalm 97:10 and hating evil as an expression of loving GodMoving from abstinence-mindset to satisfaction in ChristSimultaneously growing in purity while stepping into God's missionKey TakeawaysPurity is not the destination; it's the runway for a Spirit-led life on mission.A life that can “comfortably accommodate” impurity is misaligned with calling.Tools and accountability help, but transformation flows from loving Christ first.Get on mission now; don't postpone obedience until you feel “fully pure.”As love for Christ increases, purity increases—because there's more of you reserved for Him.Resources & LinksCharlie Kirk's original interview: ListenCovenant Eyes — accountability software for purityReady to download the Cord App? Jesus is the visible expression of the invisible God. No need to look for another. MESSAGE SUMMARY: On this day of Pentecost, we're invited to explore the profound significance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The message takes us through Jesus' teachings in John 14, where He promises the coming of the Helper - the Holy Spirit. We learn that the Spirit is not just a distant force, but a personal presence that dwells within us, bringing the very essence of Christ into our hearts. This indwelling Spirit transforms us, making us more like Jesus and empowering us to do His works. As we reflect on this, we're challenged to consider how we're allowing the Spirit to work in our lives. Are we grieving or quenching the Spirit through unforgiveness or sin? Or are we opening ourselves fully to His guidance and power? This Pentecost, let's renew our commitment to living Spirit-filled lives, recognizing that God's desire is for His presence to be with us always, not just now, but for eternity.   TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, I now take a deep breath and stop. So often I miss your hand and gifts in my life because I am preoccupied and anxious. Grant me the power to pause each day and each week to simply rest in your arms of love. In Jesus' name, amen.    Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 132). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Addictions. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit's fruit of Self-Control. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f). Zarathustra transmits 5th Dimensional Quantum frequencies in each episode with transformational tools while discussing different topics to help you maintain this new frequency in your daily life.Zarathustra has created a practical system of transmitting the truth to his audience allowing transformation and freedom from suffering. Spiritual development requires an open heart. It is virtually impossible for a seeker to advance to higher consciousness if they don't love themselves. The belief system which has been ingrained in our cellular memory from childhood that we are not good enough results in a conditioned mind. The conditioned mind holds the false belief that there is something missing in our lives, that we are incomplete, that we need to gain something in order to become happy and whole, which is not true. After a life time of searching, Zarathustra has blended a practical system of Eastern and Western methods and techniques to help the Academy members to free themselves from anxiety, negative thoughts, lack of self-love and self-acceptance and destructive emotional patterns through a systematic way to raise your vibration to 5D Vibrational Frequency, which enables you to live a vibrant life of freedom and happiness. The Key Elements To Freedom:Zarathustra recognizes continuity and consistency are the key elements to freedom. In order to help you achieve your spiritual goals, it's best to have a highly effective spiritual practice, free of dogmas, false beliefs and superstition that helps you raise your vibration to 5D Vibrational Frequency as well as the ability to maintain this newly found higher level of consciousness. She discusses how these injectable drugs, like Wegovy and Victoza, enhance feelings of fullness and reduce appetite to mimick self-control. Dr. Kathy uses this topic to engage how we can teach character, self-control, and have a posture of support for our kids as they face things like obesity and a culture that pushes them to quick-fixes for big problems.

In this raw and relatable episode of The Collective Perspective, Jeff and Travis get real about something most of us don't want to admit: we've got a self-control problem — and it's showing up everywhere.Whether it's flipping out in traffic, clapping back online, losing it with your kids, or snapping during a live gig when your gear starts acting up (yes, even the light in this episode gave us attitude), self-control is that hidden skill we know we should have… but rarely do.This isn't a TED Talk on mastering emotions — it's a grounded conversation about recognizing your breaking point, owning your triggers, and laughing at yourself along the way. From production malfunctions and tech stress to everyday moments where we let impulse win, this episode unpacks how faith, emotional awareness, and humility play into keeping your cool in a world that thrives on outrage. We're not offering a 10-step fix. We're handing you a mirror and saying, “Same, bro.”If you've ever yelled at a paper towel dispenser, snapped during soundcheck, or sent a text you immediately regretted, you're not alone — and this one's for you.#TheCollectivePerspective #SelfControl #MentalStrength #EmotionalDiscipline #TriggeredCulture #PauseBeforeYouReact #QuietStrength #FaithAndFocus #RespondDontReact #PeaceOverChaos Chapters (00:00:00) - Introduction to the Collective Perspective Podcast(00:00:35) - Diving into Self-Control(00:01:35) - Practical Examples of Self-Control(00:02:52) - Self-Control in Daily Life(00:09:30) - Self-Control in Relationships and Parenting(00:15:23) - Martial Arts and Self-Control(00:17:50) - Philosophical Insights on Self-Control(00:19:15) - Conclusion and Viewer Engagement

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, “What's the point? I've tried before and it never works anyway”?That quiet thought is more powerful than most people realize. It's what psychologists call learned helplessness—when repeated disappointments convince your brain that your effort doesn't matter. And here's the thing: it doesn't just live in the “big” areas. It sneaks into your relationships when you stop asking for what you need. It shows up in your career when you don't go after opportunities because you assume the answer is no. It's there when you give up on your health or money goals because “you'll probably quit eventually.”In this episode, I want to slow down and really unpack what's happening in your brain when helplessness sets in—because once you see it for what it is, you don't have to stay stuck there. We'll talk about:Why learned helplessness develops (and how your brain thinks it's keeping you safe). The everyday ways it keeps women circling the same patterns. How to notice when you've quietly stopped trying—not because you can't, but because you stopped believing it matters. What it looks like to unlearn helplessness and rebuild your self-trust in small, powerful ways.If you've been feeling stuck in an “it is what it is” season, this episode is your reminder: helplessness isn't permanent. It's learned—and anything learned can be unlearned.Want to sign up for The Threshold + Elevated EQ ? Join here by Friday, Sept 26th: https://coachingmasterclasses.com/Questions? How to Teach Children Self Control With Emotional Intelligence

In this episode, Marcela Collier delves into the intricacies of teaching children self-control through emotional intelligence. She shares insights on understanding the root causes of unexplained aggressive behaviors in children and introduces the three pillars of emotional intelligence: body awareness, coping strategies, and emotional vocabulary. Through the story of Darryl, a child struggling with aggression due to past bullying, Marcela illustrates how therapeutic play and consistent practice can transform a child's ability to manage impulses and communicate feelings effectively. If you're ready to stop yelling, stop reacting in anger, and finally feel calm and confident when your child has a meltdown… this is for you. Your child's behavior isn't the real problem. That's the message. And once you learn to see it that way, you'll stop fighting your child… and start healing your relationship with them. So don't wait. DM me “peace 25” on Instagram right now and get started with the free class.@highimpactaz@hicparenting Because your child doesn't need a perfect parent. They need a safe one. And that parent can be you.

Together, we'll explore “Christian Self-Control: Christ in Command” through three headings: 1. The command to grow in self-control 2. The heart of Christian self-control 3.
