Melba Phillips, who grew up on a farm in Indiana at the turn of the 20th century, was one of J. Robert Oppenheimer's first graduate students at the University of California, Berkeley. Together they discovered the Oppenheimer-Phillips Process, which explained a particular kind of nuclear reaction. In this episode, we explain what that is, with a little help from generative AI. Phillips did not follow Oppenheimer to Los Alamos, and was vocal in her opposition to nuclear weapons. During the McCarthy era, she lost her teaching job, and did not return to academia until 1957. In 1962, then in her mid-fifties, she finally became a full professor at the University of Chicago.

Prepare for an enlightening journey with our guest, Isaac Mars, a trailblazing theoretical physicist. Boldly redefining our understanding of reality, Isaac's groundbreaking work on Unity Theory presents a fresh perspective on long-standing concepts such as time, dark matter, dark energy, and consciousness. His 77-page treatise ingeniously ties together energy, frequency, and vibration to unravel age-old spiritual beliefs. Moreover, Isaac is at the forefront of the sovereignty movement, striving for global unity and emancipation from all kinds of captivity.Continuing our profound conversation, we delve deeper into unity consciousness and its link to the universal mind, shedding light on the immense power of vibration, sound healing, and heart math. Isaac gives us an insightful look at the emergence of the divine feminine and how we can shape a heart-based reality through unconditional love. We further discuss the Triune Model, a manifestation of the Holy Trinity that serves as a pathway to the universe's spiritual and scientific protection. Towards the end, we touch on intriguing topics such as the Cesticav Act of 1666, maritime law, and how to reclaim our sovereignty. This conversation with Isaac Mars is bound to shift your perspective on life, reality, and our collective potential. As the first Theoretical physicist in human history to publicly demystify the concepts of Time, Dark Matter, Dark Energy and Consciousness itself, Isaac Mars is shattering obsolete paradigms with his new book, "Unity Theory." Moreover, with the power of Unity Holodynamics, the cutting-edge science of reality, Isaac is spearheading a sovereignty movement. Lawrence is a sought after public speaker, university lecturer, and bestselling author of several books, including "The Physics of Star Trek," and "A Universe from Nothing", which explain complex scientific ideas clearly to the general public. He's also the host of “The Origins” podcast, which explores human experiences through science and culture.Lawrence posits that our fear of A.I actually stems from a larger fear—the fear of the unknown. He argues that science is actually about celebrating the secrets of the universe rather than needing to explain everything, but we need to become more skeptical as a society.

Strange things dwell out in the open ocean. Bobbing atop the waves, Becky Ripley and Emily Knight meet one such creature, the Portuguese Man O'War. With its bulbous air-sacs and trailing tentacles you'd be forgiven for thinking it's a jellyfish, but you'd be wrong. It's a colony, a society of tiny individual animals, who work together to eat, hunt and reproduce as one.In the Age of the Individual, we humans like to think of ourselves as self-sufficient little nodes who don't need nobody. But that perspective gets called into question when you consider where we live. Thanks to some complex maths and some incredible data-crunching, we're beginning to see the cities we inhabit in a different light. They grow, move, breathe, and die, just like a living organism, according to strict mathematical principles. Just like polyps in a Man O' War, are we really any more than cogs in a machine?Featuring Marine Biologist Dr John Copley from the University of Southampton, and Geoffrey West, Theoretical Physicist from the Santa Fe Institute.
