Be our guest as we invite you to pull up a chair and join us for dinner at VIVO Italian Kitchen™ inside Universal CityWalk™ Orlando. Instead of reviewing the restaurant after the fact, we did something different — we hit record right at the table so you could hear our real-time thoughts as the evening unfolded. From the moment the appetizer arrived to the last sip of our mocktails, every reaction, laugh, and side conversation was captured live.We each ordered something different, from handmade pasta entrées crafted with heirloom family recipes to creative zero-proof drinks that gave the night a refreshing twist. Along the way, we share our honest takes on presentation, portion size, service, and overall atmosphere. You'll hear the clink of silverware, the banter over the check, and the little details that make dining at VIVO a uniquely immersive experience. But of course, because it's us, the night also went a little sideways — leading to a surprisingly deep (and funny) conversation about VIVO's bathrooms, which turned out to be some of the most unusual we've ever seen at a theme park restaurant. By the end, we're not just talking food, but also sinks, stalls, and the unwritten etiquette of handwashing. If you've ever wondered what it's really like to dine at VIVO Italian Kitchen™, this episode delivers the flavors, the fun, and even a few unexpected laughs.
It's that time of year for back-to-school! What does that mean for grown-ups and space explorers like us? For me,it means diving into the stack of books that keep me learning, curious, and inspired. As the host of Casual Space Podcast, I'm fortunate enough to receive books from our incredible guests, so sometimes I choose what to read, and other times the stories find their way to me. Right now, I'm re-reading two standouts so rich with insight that I've taken notes, underlined passages, and even brought some of their wisdom into my work. I believe a book becomes truly powerful when its ideas are shared, and that's where the magic of storytelling begins. In this episode, I'm sharing my fall reading wish list—from space history to slow productivity—and a few titles that are changing how I think and work. We'll talk Walt Disney, Cal Newport, and the joy of reading as a lifelong companion. So, what's on your fall reading list? Let's trade recommendations and keep turning the page—together.

The Swan and Dolphin are Marriott Bonvoy properties that have been at Walt Disney World since 1990 (their sister Marriott property, Swan Reserve, opened in 2021), and they hosted my family for a two-night stay at the Swan on a recent trip to Central Florida. As a good neighbor hotel officially with Disney Deluxe Resort benefits, the Swan is located in the EPCOT Crescent Lake resort area with easy walking distance (or Friendship boat) access to EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's BoardWalk, and Disney's Yacht & Beach Club resorts, plus bus service to Magic Kingdom (via Transportation and Ticket Center), Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. With comfortable rooms, world-class service, and a wide range of dining and recreation, the Swan is a hotel you should definitely consider for your next Walt Disney World vacation. You can learn more at https://swandolphin.com/ and https://www.instagram.com/swandolphin. In this episode, we discuss everything you need to know about staying at the Swan, reveal details that make this property noteworthy, share reasons why you might want to stay here, and offer suggestions about how to make the most of your stay. The Dunning-Kruger Effect was discussed, along with Apple TV+ raising its subscription price by 30% and a rundown of the best streaming deals and bundles for August 2025. The concept of “plussing up,” coined by Walt Disney in the 1940s to describe improving something by adding to it, also came up. Rick Chambers and the KTLA crew highlighted how good creations can inspire while bad actions destroy, with guest Jose Hernandez. A new survey revealed that Americans consider the “perfect” salary to be $74,000, sparking debate about money, side hustles, and the value of a skilled handyman. Finally, anticipation continues to build as everyone awaits the result of Lyle Menendez's parole hearing.
We're hitting record from some of Walt Disney World's most stunning deluxe resorts while answering a lightning round of listener-style questions all about the podcast, Disney, and beyond! From the first trip that made us truly fall in love with the parks to the spark that turned that passion into nearly 800 episodes, we're pulling back the curtain on the moments that shaped Main Street Magic. We'll share what episode felt like a milestone, our favorite collaborations, and even the bloopers that had us cracking up. We'll debate which Magic Kingdom resort we'd actually live in, which EPCOT pavilion we'd move into for a week, and the bold Disney hot takes we'll defend to the end. Plus, we dive into what recording inside an attraction might look like, the series we're excited to launch next, and where we'd host a dream live show.Along the way, we reflect on what we've learned about each other, which Universal land secretly rivals Disney, the snack that needs to be fired, and what hitting 800 episodes means to us. It's a mix of memories, milestones, and mayhem—recorded in the heart of deluxe Disney magic.

EPISODE 143 | Paranoia Is Forever: Disney Conspiracies Walt Disney's goal was to make the “Happiest Place on Earth”, and to delight and inspire both children and adults through the ages. We're opening up the Main Street Magic Mailbag once again and answering your burning questions straight from Instagram! From quirky pre-trip routines and our most-anticipated Disney Destiny cruise spots, to what attractions we'd scrap, revamp, or ride all day long, no topic is off-limits. We chat about the future of Universal content on the show, whether to Park Hop or stick to one park per day, and what it would be like to spend 24 hours as a Disney character. You'll hear our thoughts on which park additions could take things to the next level, the fate of Discovery Island, and even what jobs our pets would have if they were human. Plus, we dive into VIP dreams, runDisney plans, and the one thing that caught us off guard when starting the podcast. We also share the new things we've learned about each other lately, our picks for upcoming movies and shows, and what themed land we'd add to Epic Universe. Whether it's Disney, Universal, or just a little bit of fun “would you rather,” this Q&A is packed with laughs, tips, and behind-the-scenes insights.
“What would you do if you saw a 20-foot python on top of a dumpster?” In this wild and wonderfully weird episode of The Sandy Show, Sandy and Tricia take listeners on a rollercoaster of bizarre news, personal confessions, and entrepreneurial envy. From a snake sighting in a Los Angeles parking garage to a 15-year-old millionaire who invented a card game at age seven, this episode is packed with surprises. Tricia shares her childhood trauma involving a dead scorpion in a pool corner—forever dubbed “Scorpion Corner”—and her failed attempt to tame a stray dog known only as “Mama Dog.” Then, she dives into a story that stings: a kid who created the game Taco vs. Burrito and sold it for millions. Cue Tricia's frustration over her own shelved invention, the “milk bottle game.” The show also features a rapid-fire Q&A with Tricia, covering hidden snacks, junk drawers, and why girls talk about poop more than guys. Plus, it's officially “naked season,” and the team explores the odd trend of people shedding clothes in public—including a man in Italy who rode a motorcycle completely nude (except for his helmet).Key Moments:
Neon couldn't burn any brighter than it is now. The film production and distribution company acquired the rights to six consecutive Palme d'Or winners at the Cannes Film Festival: Parasite (2019), Titane (2021), Triangle of Sadness (2022), Anatomy of a Fall (2023), Anora (2024), and It Was Just an Accident (2025). Parasite was the first foreign language film to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards in 2020. Longlegs became the highest-grossing independent film in 2024. Director Sean Baker won 4 Oscars for his film Anora tying with the one and only Walt Disney for most Oscar wins in a single night. All of this from a studio that's only been around for 8 years. Film industry veteran Tom Quinn cofounded Neon in 2017 and has marked a distinct lane for himself in a crowded and, let's be honest, less-than-innovative industry. In this episode of Creative Control, Quinn traces his journey from actor to executive and explains how he's positioned Neon to be the "anti-algorithm" in a streaming world. He also gives his perspective on what's holding the wider film industry back and what Neon needs now to make their success sustainable. Disneyland Hotel was the first hotel or resort to feature the Disney name. Opened by Jack Wrather in partnership with Walt Disney, the Disneyland Hotel was not officially owned by The Walt Disney Company until Michael Eisner's Disney tenure, but it has been delighting Disneyland guests with Disney-themed spaces since October 1955. Today, the Disneyland Hotel includes four towers (Adventure Tower, Discovery Tower, Fantasy Tower, and Frontier Tower), six dining spaces (Goofy's Kitchen, Tangaroa Terrace, Trader Sam's and more), a monorail-themed E-Ticket pool, Disney shopping, and walking-distance proximity to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. In this episode, we discuss everything you need to know about staying at the Disneyland Hotel, reveal Imagineering details that make this property noteworthy, share reasons why you might want to stay here, and offer suggestions about how to make the most of your stay. We're diving deep into the Main Street Magic Mailbag for our latest Listener Q&A session! You sent the questions — and we're answering them all with the usual mix of tips, laughs, and behind-the-scenes banter. From our Facebook community, we tackle everything from Disney resorts we've never stayed at (yes, there are still a few!) to which classic attractions we somehow haven't experienced. We chat about the possibility of a Main Street Magic Zero Proof Crawl & Meet-Up, compare Typhoon Lagoon vs. Blizzard Beach now that water park access is included with resort check-in, and reflect on the nostalgic Disney favorites that still hit us in the feels (even if our kids aren't on board). We also get personal — sharing how we met, which international Disney parks are on our bucket list, and brainstorming what a Disney-themed non-alcoholic bar would look like. Spoiler: we're all in.Over on X (Twitter), things get delightfully random — like which Disney character is most likely to have a PR meltdown Coldplay-style, what we'd grab in a $500 LEGO Store shopping spree, and what hobby might take over our lives if Disney disappeared tomorrow (gasp!).Tune in for answers, shoutouts, and a lot of fun — and stay tuned for more ways to send in your questions for future episodes!
On this episode of the AI/XR Podcast, Charlie Fink, Ted Schilowitz, and Rony Abovitz welcome Brent Bushnell, co-founder of DreamPark, for an energizing conversation about the future of mixed reality entertainment. Brent shares how DreamPark turns public spaces into interactive theme parks using Meta Quest 3 headsets, enabling immersive gameplay on city streets, at malls, and even music festivals. The hosts reflect on the legacy of Magic Leap, the overlooked brilliance of the Magic Leap game Dr. Grordbort's Invaders, made exclusively for Magic Leap by New Zealand's WETA studio. Rony compares Brent's vision to Walt Disney, and the brainstorm an entire Dream Park business plan, discussing everything from retrofitting dead malls to launching pop-ups at Buc-ee's and Walmart. Along the way, they discuss the shortcomings of Apple Vision Pro, Magic Leap's lost potential, and the promise of scalable location-based XR. We're joined by actress/singer/dancer Ann Jillian who takes us on an extraordinary journey which begins as her parents escape Soviet-Occupied Lithuania and continues into the Hollywood soundstages that launch Ann's career as a child star in Gypsy and Babes in Toyland and then winds towards her adult career as a beloved Hollywood icon.Ann shares the powerful story of her family's flight across war-torn Europe on bicycles, aided by her mother's multilingual savvy, which helped them dodge bullets and bombs and navigate a perilous path to safety. Settling in America was more than a fresh start, it was a dream realized. Ann recalls the deep pride her parents felt the day they became U.S. citizens and she reflects on her show biz beginnings, first in commercials (she was a Chevrolet girl!), then, playing Bo Peep in Babes in Toyland, leading to the stage name bestowed upon her by Mr. Walt Disney! and landing the role of Dainty June in Gypsy, where she gained an even deeper appreciation of her own mother who was NOT a Mama Rose. Ann tells us how education was valued for Disney child stars, she shares her mother's wisdom on dealing with jealousies and she tells us about the treasured momento she received from her dear friend in Natalie Wood. She also discusses her battle with breast cancer, her triumphant return to work, the joy in becoming a mother and the fabulously funny and romantic 'how we met story' featuring herself and her husband of 50 years, Andy. And IMDB Roulette this week takes us on a journey around Mayfield, into the Twilight Zone and through a time when TV movies tackled important social issues. In recommendations --Fritz: Britbox Mini Series, OutrageousWeezy: Netflix Series, Son of a CritchPath Points of Interest:Ann Jillian on WikipediaAnn Jillian on IMDBAnn Jillian on Amazon OutrageousSon of a CritchMedia Path PodcastMedia Path on FacebookMedia Path on InstagramMedia Path on XMedia Path on Bluesky
I've got Walt Disney's stock certificate hanging on my wall in my office. One share. Beautiful certificate with all the characters and Walt right in the middle. But it's not there because I'm a Disney fanboy. It's there because of the quote at the bottom. My favorite quote in the world. "The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." This is where we all get stuck. Not even kidding. The getting started part. I was speaking to over a hundred chiropractors last week. One woman had just spoken at Funnel Hacking Live in front of 5,000 people. Invited by Russell Brunson himself. And she's telling me she feels stuck. Doesn't know her next steps. I'm like you just spoke at FHL and you think you're stuck. Open your eyes. But here's the thing. People can plan. Even worse people can over plan. You listening right now can over plan things. And you do it every damn day. You overthink stuff. You over plan stuff and it keeps you from moving forward. Whether it's implementing something new at your business or starting something with your kids. All this overplanning keeps you stuck. Dreams are made from actions not excuses. What will you do when all your excuses run out. Because they will. Your excuses only matter for a short moment. That negative self-talk about why you can't start right now. That excuse is going to run out because you'll look around and realize it doesn't work anymore. Now you have to make up something new.Connect:Connect with Rick: https://linktr.ee/mrrickjordanSubscribe & Review to ALL IN with Rick Jordan on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/RickJordanALLIN
