   This may truly be the new Golden Age of America as Trump claims it will be... for crying out loud, we even have the first American Pope!    Meanwhile, Trump closes his first trade deal and the partner is the UK.  It's true, Trump's team negotiates the deal and then Trump gets on the phone and makes it better before closing it.  This is a great story.    The Royals are apparently never losing another series again.  They just drill the White Sox 10-0 on Thursday and everything is going right.   NASCAR takes center stage at Kansas Speedway this weekend where last year's spring race may have been the greatest of all time.    Trump asks Nick Saban and a really rich Texas Tech booster to save college athletics.  Charles Barkley calls college sports a ruined cesspool and our song of the week is a great one for Mother's Day.

   The first trade deal is done as President Trump will share details of tariffs with the United Kingdom on Thursday.    Street racing, break ins and unsafe restaurants in KC go global after local reporting from Fox 4 is picked up everywhere.  One European outlet refers to KC as a midwestern "Mad Max Hell Hole."  Ouch.    Terrorist supporting protesters take over Columbia University's library in New York but they forgot Biden is gone.  They got locked in by the feds and had to show ID to get out.  It didn't go well as at least 70 went to jail and many of them will be deported.    Bobby Witt Junior's two run homer is enough to beat the White Sox even though Charlie Sheen tried to give it away in the 9th.  The royals are scalding hot but a 9th inning change has to be coming.    Rumors are swirling everywhere Jacque Vaughn could be Bill Self's new lead assistant.  If he is... this has to be at least a first step toward the KU great possibly taking over for Self when he retires.   Isaiah Pacheco of the Chiefs gets his college degree, ESPN is announcing a new platform while parent company Disney is building a theme park in a country where being gay is illegal and Tyreek Hill chows down from his hospital bed.

   The red hot royals are on such a roll... they are winning now even when they haven't earned it.  The White Sox gift one to the Royals, thank you very much.  This one was absolutely crazy.    NPR affiliate KCUR in Kansas City is whining that Trump is cutting $500k from their annual budget but wait until you hear how little that is.  It's shocking.    I'm starting to think Canada as the 51st state was just the opening salvo from Trump and he's got his eyes set on something else.  A conservative, oil rich province.    ICE working with Tennessee State Troopers set up a roadblock this week and stopped 150 cars with illegal aliens, drugs, gang members and everything else you can imagine.  Dems are losing their minds over this.   Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announces he's meeting with China regarding trade rules.  It's happening this weekend in Switzerland.     The New York Mets continue an outrageous streak and a Colorado Buffaloes fan is suing the NFL over Shedeur Sanders draft position.

   In a very courteous and serious interview on Meet the Press, president Trump talks about 2028 and where the MAGA movement is headed.    Also this weekend, Trump was busy posting about Alcatraz being refurbished and used for America's worst criminals and he's set to host Roger Goodell at the White House for NFL news.   In Florida, a man that won $167 million goes crazy on the cops.    The Royals set a club record Sunday with 7 home runs against the Orioles.  Yes, KC is the hottest team in baseball and just finished the road trip 5-1.  This is fun!    Golfer Scottie Scheffler sets a record on the PGA Tour, Sporting KC wins in a way that has never happened before and the Mahomes' hung out with Tom Brady and Jelly Roll this weekend.

   The Kansas City Royals have returned from the dead and are the hottest team in baseball.  With a sweep of the Rays, KC is now 17-15.  Unbelievably, that's only two wins shy of the best in the whole American League.  The boys are playin' some ball and the 8-2 win was a complete beat down.    The Kentucky Derby is set for Saturday afternoon and we've got a preview with everything from the fave to mint juleps to who's singing the anthem.    We have more information about that tragic accident involving John Elway last Saturday when his 35 year friend and business partner fell off their golf cart and died.   The great Stephen Miller has officially topped himself by breathing fire at reporters gathered at the White House.  We have it for you.  That dem senator that had a bromance with the illegal alien gang banger in El Salvador is now distancing himself from the criminal.  We'll explain why.    And our Song of the Week is recommended by a listener in Wichita and it's a fantastic ode to prairie life.  The singer is from a small town about an hour from Wichita and the words are powerful.

   While the media tried to tell America that president Trump is the least popular commander in chief ever, Trump was taking a victory lap with an incredible speech in Michigan.  It was a total takedown of globalists, a boost for working folks and a complete tribute to American Exceptionalism.  And, you probably laughed your tail off he was so funny.    We've learned more disturbing details about firefighter Graham Hoffman's death this weekend at the hands of a mad woman in his ambulance.  Also, a son in Grain Valley is looking at years and years in prison for being the worst son on earth.    That viral video of the speed boat crashing in Arizona gets even more interesting.  They won the race... and.... the team is from KC.  We have the details.    The Royals win another low scoring game, 3-1 over the Rays.  It's never comfortable or easy with this light hitting team... but maybe we are missing the big picture.    The Chiefs make commitments to two young defensive starts, a former tight end was right all along about Shedeur Sanders and a writer that puts out a gripe list focuses on places he hates leaving tips.

   Donald Trump actually did shock the world with his announcement he's working with 75 friendly countries to not only improve America's trade situation with them, he's partnering with them to take down China's practices of ripping everyone off.  It felt like a glorious and historic day.    Meanwhile, the Dems are accusing Trump of manipulating the stock market while rooting for the Chinese to beat him.  They'd much rather Trump lose than America win.    DOGE unearths some ridiculous recipients of unemployment checks you just won't believe.    In sports, the Royals bats are quiet again in a  lifeless loss to the Twins.  A future KU basketball star is ranked the number one player in the country.  The commissioners of the four power conferences in college athletics are sitting down for a joint interview on fixing the business side of the NCAA.  And Billy Joel donates to a political campaign but it's not like a lot of the stories you've heard before.  

   The Royals have won three in a  row and it gives us a chance to move a trade war with China to the second half of the podcast.  We need all the good news Bobby Witt is delivering to brighten our day.  KC has a chance to bury the Twins the next two days.     The annual Masters Champions Dinner featured a guest that some believe is controversial.  Also, the tournament features its first set of twins competing.    Vegas odds say its a huge longshot for Stephen A. Smith to run for president.      The trade war with China is getting worse as both countries raise tariffs overnight.    A soccer coach of a 13 year old boy's team has been charged with murder.  He's an illegal alien and he's been arrested before and they've just let him walk until now.  Unreal.    Stephen Miller will brighten your day with sage words set to music, new polling shows nobody even knows what National Public Radio is and a California valedictorian is a free speech warrior.

    The Supreme Court has ruled that low level judges without a case before them can no longer stop the President from doing his job.  This is a big one but it begs the question.  Is it worth it for Dems to fight this president when you know these rulings are this easy for Trump to win?    Kansas Senator Jerry Moran is increasingly a problem for Trump as he's now joining other Republicans to try to slow this president down. Kansans need to be heard.    Stephen A. Smith from ESPN says he's no longer ruling out running for president.  Gary Lezak is back on channel 41 doing weather in the mornings.  Sort of.    The Royals are starting to heat up behind starting pitching and timely hitting.  The Florida Gators come back against Houston to win the national title and a salary cap in college athletics is getting close.  We have the details.

   The Bob Fescoe Fiasco is one of the most embarrassing sports radio messes in memory as his report the Royals were locked in on Overland Park for a new stadium got refuted almost in real time.  It was ugly in every way and Bob, who's a good guy and terrific family man, must be hurting over all of it.  Mayor Q piled on him worse than anyone and now Q says he has up to $1.4 billion for the Royals downtown.  What?  Is Mayor Q pulling a Fescoe here or is he pulling a Trump and will actually back it up and deliver for KCMO?    Bobby Witt Jr is ready to play ball after the stress of his off season wedding, we have a fun clip.  Michigan State coach Tom Izzo has the greatest name and comments about the college basketball transfer portal.    Trump signs a wonderful executive order to clean up our elections, MTG is holding hearings with CEO's of PBS and NPR and I can't wait.  Kristi Noem and JD Vance hit the road in opposite directions and conservative talker Chris Stigall hates emoji's in texts.  I think I will send him one!    Our Final Final is a ballpark food item that doesn't mess around... it feeds the whole family.

   The baseball season is about to start for real and you can't believe how many strange and bizarre stories there are in one sport.  We'll catch you up on the latest Royals ballpark news, Vinnie's injury and then a slew of crazy things all happening at once.    UCONN coach Dan Hurley unleashed a foul mouth tirade in the tunnel walking off the court of his season ending loss Sunday and now he and his staff are under investigation for possibly threatening the reporter that filmed it.    Chiefs backup Gardner Minshew has a great quote on his role with the team.    A reporter for the Atlantic was included on a national security text chain but there was no security threat.  The better part of this story is what we learned by seeing this thread.  It's typical Trump admininstration.    Josh Hawley wants a new law to stop circuit judges from making national rulings, Tim Walz is apologizing about Tesla stock and a woke Snow White movie is a total flop at the box office

   The best story of the weekend occurred at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia as President Trump decided to stay two matches longer than planned to see "the big guy" shock with world in one of the biggest upsets ever.  The wrestler, Wyatt Hendrickson, is a Kansan in the Air Force wrestling for Oklahoma State and he and Trump seem to have quite a bond.  You have to hear this story.    Some are calling this the worst NCAA Tourney of all time as there are no Cinderellas an no buzzer beaters.  That means all the attention is about the coaches and we've got three very different coaches stories for you.    We lost the great Bob Davis on Friday, one week after his wife died. This is more than a story about a legendary broadcaster as we remember Davis for all he was.    Tiger Woods says "love is in the air" as he announces he's officially with Vanessa Trump, Don Jr's ex.  If you think Tiger has quite the dating history, wait until you hear about Vanessa's bingo card.  It's just incredible.    Bill Maher blasts Dems for getting simple things wrong, the mayor of Liberty, Missouri plays the KKK card on his opponent and Independence no longer has a single outdoor swimming pool.

   It's hard to imagine it could have gone worse for KU and MU in the NCAA tournament as they both lose Thursday night.  Both fell behind double digits, both roared back and had a chance to win and both buckled under pressure.  They lost in different, but equally awful ways.     A survey of Major League players is surprising what they have to say about Bobby Witt Jr.    Patrick Mahomes has an awesome message for DeAndre Hopkins.    In DC, Trump hammers the circuit judge trying to keep illegal alien violent criminals IN our country.  The Department of Education gets an executive order to get lost and our song of the week is here for the start of baseball season.

   Pick your history.  Which of four stories taking place Tuesday is the one you focused in on most.  Elon got the astronauts home with a mission commanded by a Kansan, Trump spoke with Putin to end a war and judges and media continue to fight to bring violent criminals back to America.  It was such a wild day, if you can even imagine, the release of 80,000 files on the JFK assassination took a back seat.  We are living through history folks.    One of the afternoon co-hosts on KMBZ's afternoon Seinfeld radio show (a show about nothing) that has really high ratings is an embarrassment to the medium.  Over and over she says she doesn't want to get political but even as the astronauts were safely coming home she called Elon Musk "an idiot" and a "racist" that's unhinged.  Just be honest with your listeners and respect radio please.   Chuck Schumer didn't stick his foot in his mouth on the View, he really believes the stupid things he says.  Taylor Swift inspired Trav to keep playing.  The Royals are all in on all blue unis and baked goods.  KU and MU arrive for the NCAA Tourney first round and Lee Sterling of www.paramountsports.com is here to go over the brackets and give you a few point spread freebies.

   Missouri and Kansas hit the road for the NCAA tournament and will play at roughly the same time on Thursday night.  Mizzou heads to Wichita to play Drake and they expect a big local flare crowd in that one.  KU heads east to face Arkansas in a pod filled with Hall of Fame coaches.  We break it down for you.    The Chiefs keep making moves and the Royals season opener is just around the corner.  We'll explain why Cole Ragans is their guy for opening day.    President Trump made birdies and won his club championship and then watched on a monitor as American forces targeted Houthi drones making shipping lanes dangerous with terrorism attacks.  Then, my co host Stephen Miller is getting tons for credit for his work.  Miller orchestrated 261 violent criminals deported to an incredible prison in El Salvador that is the greatest crime deterrent in the world.    The City of Lenexa is pulling a total scam on voters that sounds like an April Fool's joke, our astronauts are thrilled at the chance to come home and KSU women make the big dance even as their coach is targeted by Mizzou.  

   The Royals are inside two weeks until the start of the season and if there's one thing other teams say about the Royals it's that they suddenly know how to acquire and coach good pitching.  They call it The Pitching Department and it's working.   Joel Goldberg is back for his 18th season on the Royals TV Network that's now called Fanduel Sports.  He shares with us his thoughts on all the new ways to watch Royals games, how the team is shaping up and his booming off season media business.  KC is lucky to have him.

   It was rough start of the week for Donald Trump with markets tumbling and Tesla dealers getting destroyed by domestic terrorists.  Then he got so tough with Canada, threatening to end their auto manufacturing industry, Canada called off the tariff battle four hours later.    Prices are starting to come down and that's good news.  Will the markets start to buy in?   Jackson County has no clue and no plan for the Royals and they are now stating that publicly.  What a mess.   KU and KSU play the night session at the Big 12 Tourney on the worst court any conference has ever designed.  And the commish doubled down on his crappy court by making an outrageous demand for the NCAA Tourney.   The Chiefs sign a cornerback from the Chargers, Tiger Woods is hurt again and a woman sues a Vegas hotel after her husband died there... you will not believe this story in our Final Final.  

   Stan will be courtside for the games at the Big 12 Tourney in KC and has seen all the teams up close this season.  We talk about KU's chances of surprising people now that they are playing better and Hunter Dickinson has become unstoppable.   Can Mizzou find its defense again?  The Tigers seem a little exhausted from playing in a brutal SEC and may just need some different opponents.  Also, there is a tournament in Vegas KSU can qualify for with a win or two.  It's March, we love hoops and we cover it all.   Then Stan has much to say about all the Chiefs moves as they try to retool for 2025.   Our Final Final is a crazy tradition a week before St. Patrick's Day.

  We say goodbye to a radio legend in KC and a former Chiefs quarterback tells a whopper of a story about his head coach.   Then, Danny Clinkscale joins us to talk Royals, Hoops and Golf.  

   It's official, Kevin and Jessica are really bad dog parents.  No, not in any real way, but the anguish we felt yesterday was a little like losing your toddler for two minutes at a department store.  It all involves a Royals spring training game.    The Royals bats were alive on Wednesday night and reliever Lucas Erceg looks ready to go.   Mizzou goes as Mizzou's defense goes and forcing only 4 turnovers in the first half at OU was a recipe for disaster.  We discuss the SEC powers and what it will take going forward for the conference to dominate the Big Dance.    A pair of old colleagues of mine at channel 4 moved on to bigger and better things and are both involved in high profile lawsuits in KC.  One is a hero, the other seems to be a ridiculous target.    ABC News lays off 200 staffers and closes 538.com.  What a huge win.  CNN tries to fact check Trump and winds up fact checking CNN instead and even the late night comedians are turning on the Dems.

   I'm not afraid to say it.    President Trump delivered the greatest speech of my lifetime and its not even close.  After he declared America is Back to thunderous roars, he was funnier than any comedian ever as he mocked the stupidity of how our government spends money.  Then he told America the people on the left wouldn't clap for him if he cured cancer.  One Dem got booted for heckling and Trump rolled with it like a pro.  And he covered it all.   They will say this was the most partisan speech ever and it may have been.  No, not for Republicans.  This was a partisan speech for America that played out as an infomercial for American strength and greatness.  Oh, we're back.  We are SO back.   The dems were so pathetic they couldn't even clap for a 13 year old boy that beat brain cancer.  And then found out he's an honorary member of the Secret Service.  They just sat there mortified that Trump is this compassionate and caring and, well, American.  They really do hate America and it showed.    Stephen A Smith of ESPN sets the ladies of The View straight.  Bill Belichick says NO to Hard Knocks, Westwood One names Dan Bongino's replacement and the exec that let the NBA leave TNT says it was one of the smartest decisions he ever made.

   President Trump is promising an amazing speech for Congress and all Americans and the word circulating is he's putting all the cards on the table.  Is that a NATO exit?  The end of the United Nations?  A complete pullout of the Ukraine/Russia war?  More tariffs?  Grab some popcorn, it's only America's future on the line.    Democrats hate female sports and they just keep proving it in a losing effort that is amazingly stupid.  I guess this is how you try to keep your failing party together?  Not a single dem vote in the Senate to keep men out of women's sports.  Incredible.    The Premier of Ontario is promising economic devastation to America if Trump doesn't change his mind.  I don't know about you but I can't sleep at night thinking about no maple syrup or Canadian bacon.    The Houston Cougars own the Big 12 in men's basketball and they do it in a way that your favorite coaches would be proud of.  It's ugly but truly gritty.  KU played hard, tough and looked prettier almost all not.  But Houston was tougher and gets another win.    The Royals win behind blazing stuff from pitcher Daniel Lynch and the hitting of completely remade MJ Melendez.    Shannon Sharpe argues sports with Stephen A Smith on ESPN and refers to himself as Trump and Smith as Zelenskyy.  Hilarious.    The combine is over and we think we know what QB is going number one and highly praised movie got snubbed from OSCAR consideration for obvious reasons.
