Det høres i tekstene at Øyunn har gått noen runder med seg selv på sitt debutalbumet Aspects – opprinnelig et bestillingsverk sjøsatt på Ultimafestivalen. Øyunn jobber på tvers av mange kunstformer. Foruten en stadig lengre skuespiller-CV er hun best kjent som trommeslager i skjæringspunktet mellom improvisasjonsmusikk og indiepop. Vi har sett henne i bandet til Bugge Wesseltoft eller de danske ringrevene i Efterklang. Men på Aspects gjør hun langt mer enn å bare tromme: hun synger, rapper, eksperimenterer med effekter og jobber særs visuelt. Aspects er også er en film som har blitt vist på en rekke filmfestivaler. Sigurd Hole has been a vital part of the Norwegian music scene for the past decade, both as part of different jazz ensembles and through his work related to Norwegian folk music. In February 2020 came the monumental "Lys / Mørke".  A solo bass double album recorded on the arctic islands of Fleinvær in Northern Norway, "Lys / Mørke" can in many ways be seen as a response to the climate and ecological crisis, focusing in large on the conscious act of listening to the natural world. The album was premiered in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on February 3rd, 2020, and received worldwide critical acclaim. 2022 sees the release of a new album called "Roraima", out February 18th. "Roraima" was commissioned by Oslo World for the festival in 2020, and reflects themes such as solidarity and ecological vulnerability and draws inspiration from the creation myth of the Yanomami people and the sound of the Amazon rainforest. The ensemble features Trygve Seim, Frode Haltli, Helga Myhr, Tanja Orning, Håkon Aase, Per Oddvar Johansen, and Sigurd Hole, and the music also includes field recordings of the Amazon biophony by US soundscape ecologist Bernie Krause. Besides his own projects Hole is known for his work with ensembles and musicians like Tord Gustavsen trio, Eple Trio, Karl Seglem acoustic quartet, Helge Lien, Bugge Wesseltoft, Eli Storbekken, Nils Økland, Terje Isungset, Frode Haltli and Trygve Seim. Håp og desperasjon i Moria er tema for den fjerde samtalen i serien Ordet er dekket under Drammen Sacred Music Festival 2021. Programleder for serien er NRK-journalist Bjørn Olav Nordahl. Begge har jobbet som frivillige i leirene på Levos, henholdsvis som sykepleier og kokk. Knut Bry har tatt bilder som blant annet ble en del av prosjektet Håp – musikk for medmenneskelighet sammen med Bugge Wesseltoft høsten 2020. Marthe Valle er artist med Spellemanspris og fire CD-utgivelser og sykepleier som i flere omganger har gjort tjeneste i Moria og andre steder. Bugge Wesseltoft (56) har spilt piano så lenge han kan huske. Han har lang fartstid innen musikkbransjen, har utgitt mer enn 30 album og har vært en pionér i å modernisere den elektroniske jazzmusikken. Han har spilt sammen med blant andre Jan Garbarek, Sidsel Endresen og Nils Petter Molvær, og har blitt tildelt Spellemannprisen tre ganger. Hans plateselskap, Jazzland Recordings, har utgitt over 150 album. I år vant han også Telenors kulturpris «Grenseløs kommunikasjon» for sin evne til å skape nye koblinger mellom ulike sjangre, kulturer og tradisjoner. Vi snakker med Bugge om å tørre å satse på musikken, om å sette seg mål, om hvorfor improvisasjon ligger så nært hans hjerte, om å tenke langsiktig og om tilstedeværelse. Når jazzmusiker Bugge Wesseltoft er på reisefot, eller om han bare skal sykle seg en tur, har han gjerne på lydopptakeren sin, og slikt blir det musikk av. Jungeltelegrafens Arne Berg er også med oss såvidt og sammen snakker vi om hvordan musikk kan påvirke følelser. Eller er det følelsene våre som påvirker hvordan vi hører musikken? Følelsen "anti-jul" var det Bugge Wesseltoft gikk i studio med da han for 20 år siden spilte inn plata "It's snowing on my piano" – bort fra alt stress og hysteri som han forbandt med jula.
