#017 - Transformational Courage & Confidence Coach Arianna Trapani shares her small business journey, including her two career changes from the world of interior design to lifestyle influencer to coach. She now specialises in helping femalepreneurs to have the courage to take rapid action by managing fear and boosting self-confidence.Arianna initially started working in London as a design assistant for a residential interior designer. However, she realised that she wanted to be her own boss and decided to leave. She started an interiors blog and began meeting up with people from the blogging community. In 2011, together with two friends she'd met via blogging, she set up the UK's first online interior design magazine, Heart Home. Later she rebranded her blog and became a lifestyle influencer for a few years. But it came to a point around 2017 that she began to not enjoy it anymore. Whilst on holiday, she came across a life coach and decided to have some coaching for herself. And she realised that she wanted to become a life coach. We discuss how to deal with lack of self-confidence, fear of putting yourself out there, the Comparison Trap, perfectionism and Imposter Syndrome.Listening to this episode, you'll hear how passionate Arianna is about helping female entrepreneurs. And at the end of the podcast, you'll discover her practical tips, which I'm sure you'll find very inspiring. Valerie VanBooven RN BSN:This is Valerie VanBooven with the Senior Care Industry Netcast, where leaders with three or more years of experience in the senior care market share their advice. So let's get to it. In a few sentences, tell us who you are and what you do.Shanele Healy: https://www.caringatheart.com/Well, good morning, Valerie. Thank you so much for having me. My name is Shanele Healy. I am the owner of Caring at Heart Home Care. We currently have two locations, one in Charlotte, North Carolina, the other in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We've had the privilege of serving our communities for the last 13 years, assisting them with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, medication management, respite for the family, just to give them a little break. So pretty much anything inside of the home or pretty much any residence or facility that they're in, we can come in and provide care.Valerie VanBooven RN BSN:Awesome. I know you guys do a wonderful job because we've worked together over the years. So what is the best thing about serving aging adults?Shanele Healy:I would say the best thing for me is just seeing those smiles, getting those phone calls saying that mom is looking forward to Betty Jo coming today or them asking for specific caregivers. Just recently we had a client that unfortunately passed away, but we were mentioned in her eulogy. We were brought up in her obituary. Just the thing for me is just getting these compliments from the family and just the reassurance that I am in the right field and I am where I am supposed to be. So, that's what…

An unbelieving heart is a dead heart in need of revival. Pastor Liz walks us through Hebrews 3 with a key reminder about our concept of how much time we have and our response to a God who has given so much for us.
The recent pandemic of Covid-19, has challenged Christians in the United States, and around the world, with regard to church, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together...", our faith walk, and on the list goes. The actions and stances taken varied by church and in some cases, emotions ran very high.In today's message, Pastor Jason discusses what the first church looked like, what made it a "church"? What is our responsibility, and what can we do, in the rare times that something like this confines us in our homes, or at the very least, restricts us from physically meeting as a church body? How can we grow our faith, even in these types of challenging times? Join us as Pastor Jason discusses "Christ in our Heart, Home, and the House of God". Rev. Wounded Emotional Anatomy can remain devastating for our entire life. We are proposing awareness allows us to realize "me too". The courage to tell our story often discovers Trapped Rage at ourselves for we expected our therapy to cure us. The Gift of navigating Heart Home experiences the Lens of Awe and Wonder. Better able to tell my story is a gift that helps others understand. It returns Meaning and Purpose to our lives. And by my free choice I confront my Trapped Rage at myself as one of the consequences of my Wounded Emotional Anatomy. Realizing our personal significance to the future of freedom in the world is our most rewarding experience on the planet. DNA is made this way on purpose to impress you. Only if you are impressed will you freely choose the pathway of Gratitude again to return Heart Home, then seeing through the Lens of Awe and Wonder, become inspired to help each other understand the Story of Freedom. This is doing our part. It is War. And default emotional reflexes interrupt our return heart home. This is World War III. By that I mean we are all responsible. No one can force us to be free. But having understood the value of returning Heart Home and glimpsing through the Lens of Awe and Wonder we become better able to precisely identify the beginning of default reflexes that interrupt our return Heart Home. Gratitude Curiosity and Wonder become our response. And we begin again. "Especially when you're dealing with questions of representation of the past, politics around the past, especially when you're dealing with not just the past, but a violent past, right, it's ethically irresponsible to not recognise your own position in that conversation, in that space. And that doesn't mean that you necessarily take sides, but I do think that it means that you act as a connector for conversations.” Tiffany Cain, a PhD Candidate in Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania, and team member of the Tihosuco Heritage Preservation and Community Development Project, spoke to our own Ian Pollock at the AAA Conference in San Jose last year about her work with the local people of Tihosuco in Quintana Roo, Mexico. IN this jam-packed episode, they discuss the cultural history of Tihosuco and how it has influenced and constructed the identity of the local people today, question how we do anthropology with people who are no longer alive, unpack the process of knowledge collection in an 'umbrella' heritage project, compare solo and team ethnography, and reflect on the attachment that researchers have to their fieldsite. This episode was recorded at the AAA Conference, so you might notice a difference in sound quality - that's just because instead of recording in our usual studio back at HQ, TFS was on the go! QUOTATIONS “You're bringing so many disciplines together. You're talking about history, you're talking about art history, you're talking about archaeology, you're talking about anthropology.” “I think there has been a tradition in anthropology broadly where we like to be able to imagine ourselves outside of the communities within which we work, at least to a certain distance. And I think there is legitimacy to that – in many ways, we will always be Outsiders to our communities unless we are working within our own communities ... And even in that space there becomes a distance because of the ethnographic process.” “To deny that we have real impact in the communities that we work in is, you know, to misrepresent ourselves” Ian: “I would love to keep spending more time where I did my research!” Tiffany: “It's hard to let go” Ian: “Cause you're writing about it all day back in your office or wherever your home writing site is, you're writing about it all day. Your head is still there, it's hard to bring your heart home.” "A common misconception about archaeology is that we don't work with people who are alive." "History is way too big for any one person, but when one person holds this portion of the story, and another person holds this portion of the story. When these people meet the history gets longer.” CITATIONS & LINKS If you'd like to read more about Tiffany and her work in Quintana Roo, check out her website: https://www.tiffanyccain.com/ and https://www.penn.museum/sites/chc/projects/ Penn University also interviewed her in an article about the project and what is involved for the researchers involved that you can read here: https://www.penn.museum/sites/chc/506-2/ (there are loads more articles about sub-projects available too!) The circumstances of your perspective are what create the home you live in called your life. It’s time to look at where you’re living and why. I urge you to consider this… It’s time to locate yourself. And come back to your home — your heart, YOU…your soul, your truth, your story. The story that will bring you closer to the desires of your heart. A love story that’s full of hope, healing, prosperity, and peace. Are you ready? Please grab your SACRED S.O.L. D.A.T.E. JOURNAL (Daily Action To Engage yourself.) TODAY’S SACRED S.O.L. STEP: Where is your Heart Home today? Locate it. Locate yourself today. Listen. What is it speaking to you today?
