“When you're recording a movie, there are a lot of scenes that don't get into the final movie. The same as with your life, you kind of choose what moves the plot forward. What's the next thing that I need to be putting right now that will move this plot forward. We are the editors. We are the actors, we are the players. We are the directors. We are the everything. Right?” We don't get to speak to as many women as we'd like to on this podcast. We're actively working to change that. We hope that from our little corner of the audio web, we're helping some women listeners out there tap into their own superpowers and step into their full potential. We know those are big words, but for what it's worth, we mean them. In the meantime, when we do get the opportunity to speak to women founders through this platform, those interviews have always been powerful, leaving us with a lot of food for thought. This episode is no different. In it, we speak to Meirav Harel. With over 20 years of experience in finance, technology, and creating award-winning fintech innovation, Meirav Harel is a world-known expert inTech, blockchain, digital disruption, the future of finance and investment, and trading Interfaces. She was named "1 of the 100 most inspirational women in Blockchain", by Cryptonewspoint, 1 out of 36 “top women Revolutionizing Crypto around the world” by TechRoundUK, and listed twice on the "Women in Fintech Powerlist" by Innovate Finance UK. She lectures, consults, provides management services and in-depth research, to leading international financial, regulatory, and academic institutions around the world, is an ambassador to EWPN (European Women in Payments Network), Former Head of Strategic Innovation Technologies at BDO, and the list goes on. We discuss: • Leaving a stable job, despite being valued and enjoying it, in order to do something of your own. “Am I capable of taking a challenge upon myself and building what I see in my vision of what I can bring to the world, at a larger scale?” • The power of setting goals and stepping outside of your comfort zone • What it takes to be an entrepreneur • The difference between failing and being a failure • The almost endless potential that lies in combining different disciplines with technology • Why everyone should learn to code • The evolution and future of money • How to navigate mentally and emotionally when things get rough at a personal level • How the people you surround yourself with impact your performance, and what traits Meirav looks for in the people around her • And more! Listen to her, there's a lot to learn from this real-life superwoman. She's been through a lot and is not afraid to be vulnerable and authentic, sharing her knowledge and hoping to empower others on their journey. Welcome back to Intellicast! We have been gone a few weeks, but are happy to be back with a jam-packed news episode this week. Kicking it off, Producer Brian and Brian Lamar discuss a bit of personal news for Brian as he was promoted to Chief Insights Officer. Loyal listeners may know that he called himself that around April Fool's, but now it is a reality! Then the guys jump into some market research news. First, they discuss the news about Meta (formerly Facebook) and an upcoming class-action lawsuit about how they inflated their audience measurements, as well as a lawsuit out of Illinois about how they are keeping photos of people who do not have Facebook profiles. The guys talk about the implications, both to market research and overall. Next, Brian and Brian touch on the announced merger of NPD and IRI. They discuss whether a rebrand is coming, or if there is enough brand equity in one of the current names that they keep it. The next story leads to a broader discussion. It starts with the story about a new report from DISQO that found 38% of consumers incorrectly recall their digital shopping journey behavior. Brian Lamar had sent some notes from a presentation he attended at IIeX from Michael Lancor at P&G about their InTech sensor that measures what consumers do and they compare with what they say they do. Brian Lamar and Producer Brian talk about the impact this could have on the future of market research, as well as some of the potential causes or biases that are leading to this disconnect. In the last few stories, the guys touch on the latest earnings report from Ipsos, Press Ganey completing their Forsta acquisition, Kristen Luck being added to Rival Technologies Board, and Geraldine Proust being named as ESOMAR's new head of professional standard. Hør mere i vores podcast. Dette tæller bl.a. Google. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Episode 1: The inaugural episode of the RVTravel Podcast is chock-full of information to make your RV'ing life more fun, safer, and eliminate some of the hassles we face on the road and in the campgrounds. Host Scott Linden talks with RVTravel.com founder Chuck Woodbury about the organization, and he also reminisces about epic RV'ing moments in his life. If you're fed up with the frustration of trying to get a reservation, you might learn enough to try boondocking … light … with a website and app that soften the transition from campground to “dry” camping. If you have a canine travel partner, Scott's dog-owning-training-TV experience on the road will help you keep your dog exercised and occupied. RVTravel.com writer Kate Doherty tells us about a travel tool that will save your eyesight, and we'll look at how tough it is – already! – to get a campsite reservation, including listener and reader opinions. Finally, we'll get a personal, real-time factory tour of the new Sol Dawn travel trailer from inTech's Keith Fishburn. Talk radio for the 21st Century RVer, the RVTravel Podcast is brought to you by RVTravel.com, SoftStartRV, CarGenerator, and America's Mailbox. It should have been quick and simple, but a surprise attack kills two of her colleagues and Tanta barely makes it home alive. Determined to prove herself and partnered with a colleague whose past is a mystery even to himself, Tanta's investigation uncovers a sinister conspiracy that makes her question her own loyalties and the motives of everyone she used to trust. "Failure is not a bad thing...In the process of dreaming and living out your dream, you are going to come across roadblocks. But understanding at that moment that 'hey, this is a lesson' take a step back and figure out what that lesson is so you don't have to encounter it later in the future." - Andronica Klaas, Ep96. The Monica Kade Podcast Welcome to Ep96. You Have to Have An Intention For Your Dream with Andronica Klaas, the second alumni graduate from my Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Series (OWLAG). There are some people you meet in life with that you instantly bond with. Andronica was one of these. Our conversation dived deep, fast. It was her open nature and willingness to share such intimate details of her upbringing that really moved me. I feel so grateful that I was able to be a witness of her story, and to now share this conversation with you. While I won't share all the details with you hear, some background on Andronica begins with her growing up in South Africa, and since graduating from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, she has attained a BSc in Computer Science Information Systems from Johnson C. Smith University in May of 2017. Today she works at the Bank of America, N.A and is also a mentor for women in technology. As a member of the employee engagement committee and a volunteer for the Ignite with Tech program, she reviews resumes for potential student employees while providing them with mock interviews. Andronica has also been invited by the bank to share her journey at the “Inspire – Women who Tech” enrichment event for female freshman and sophomore students interested in pursuing roles in Technology. Engaging with the youth and inspiring proactiveness in solving civic engagement issues in their surrounding communities is close to her heart, and she does this through her workshops. She has worked with organisations such as EmpowerHERment, Camp LeadUp and InTech. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, commercial buildings have high energy needs and can put great strain on the nation's power grids during peak periods. Developing more efficient buildings helps ensure a steady supply of affordable power and significantly lowers operating costs for businesses, schools, hospitals, and more. Creating an energy efficient building begins with monitoring and managing the building's energy consumption. Today we will talk with the CEO of InTech Energy, Ashish Goel, and his team about their new cloud-based affordable energy management system.
