This week, the fellas cover a little bit of everything—from impersonators, clout chasing, and the strange things people do for attention. The conversation takes a hilarious turn as they debate whether imitation is really the highest form of flattery or if some people are just making another person's identity their entire personality. Talks about getting older, being mistaken for someone you're not, beard struggles, receding hairlines, and the realities of embracing the next phase of life. The jokes are nonstop, the stories are relatable, and somehow, a conversation about TV ends with a debate about beard transplants in Turkey. Lessons learned: Figure it out before you get ears deep. If you can't cut the mustard, at least lick the jar.

Seejai was a Division I basketball player with a professional future in his sights. Then, without warning, his body started telling a different story. What he thought were manageable breathing issues became a serious heart condition, the end of the sporting path he had spent years working towards, and eventually two heart transplants. In this conversation, Seejai talks openly about the shock of watching life veer away from the plan you had in your head and the mental toll that comes with trying to process that while still pretending you're coping. We talk about denial, drinking, anger, regret, and the strange pressure men put on themselves to stay strong when privately they feel frightened and completely out of control. This is also a conversation about resilience, but not in the neat motivational sense. More the reality of waking up each day and deciding to keep going when your body has let you down and your future no longer looks familiar.Seejai reflects on facing mortality twice, the survivor's guilt that followed, the people who gave him strength when he needed it most, and why music became an outlet when almost everything else had been stripped away. His circumstances are unusual. The experience of having life not go the way you planned is not. This episode is for any man who has had to rethink who he is, where he's heading, and how to keep moving when none of it looks the way he expected. If you want to listen to Seejai's music, you can find him on Spotify, Apple Music,  YouTube and on other channels. Now I get the opportunity to turn that love and connection into helping even more people at Breathe Strong CF."  Julie Dunn Eichenberg didn't just find the cystic fibrosis community, she's been part of it for more than 30 years as a proud CF aunt. That personal connection is what makes this next chapter so meaningful. Julie recently stepped into the role of Executive Director at BreatheStrong CF, where the focus is on helping people with cystic fibrosis live stronger, healthier lives through exercise, education, and empowerment. And while she brings decades of experience in leadership, fundraising, and relationship-building, she's honest about getting used to the role. She's learning. Listening. Figuring out the day-to-day. And really taking the time to understand how she can best serve the community in this new position. Before this, Julie spent 20 years at Turner Broadcasting System (now part of Warner Bros. Discovery), and later held leadership roles at Florida State University and Fan Data Insights. But no matter where her career took her, the CF community was always part of her life. She's also been deeply involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, serving as Chair of the Georgia Chapter and contributing at the national level. We talk about what it feels like to step into a leadership role that's so personal. The excitement, the pressure, and the responsibility that comes with it. Julie shares what she's learning, what's surprised her, and why her connection as a CF aunt continues to guide every decision she makes. Because for Julie, this isn't just a job,  it's personal. What happens when a man stops leaking his energy into the endless dopamine loops of modern culture and instead learns to cultivate, channel, and protect it?In this wide-ranging conversation, Ben and Mike sit down with returning guests Will Blunderfield and Justin Leslie to explore the increasingly discussed — and often misunderstood — practice of semen retention. Justin shares his personal journey of over 240 days of retention, framed through discipline, spiritual conviction, and his evolving Christian faith. Will brings his background in Taoist sexual practices, tantra, and “sexual kung fu,” offering a perspective on how sexual energy can be cultivated and transmuted rather than simply suppressed or expelled.Along the way, the group tackles cultural myths about ejaculation and health, the influence of pornography on young men, the spiritual dimensions of sexuality, and the deeper question of what masculinity looks like in a world that often encourages indulgence rather than mastery.Rather than advocating repression, the conversation explores reverence – for the body, for sexual energy, and for the role that discipline and intention can play in a person's spiritual path.Topics discussed:• Justin's 240+ day semen retention journey• Pornography, dopamine loops, and the modern masculinity crisis• Sexual energy as creative life force• Taoist and tantric practices of sexual transmutation• The myth that retention causes prostate cancer• Lust vs reverence in sexual culture• Christianity, celibacy, and the spiritual discipline of masculinity• How retention can influence focus, vitality, and physical performanceWhether you see semen retention as a biological experiment, a spiritual discipline, or simply a provocative idea worth exploring, this conversation invites listeners (both man and woman) to reconsider one of the most taboo — and powerful — aspects of human vitality.Learn more about Will Blunderfield at https://willblunderfield.ca/ and follow him on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/notwillblunderfield/.Learn more about Justin Leslie at https://justintegrity.net/ and follow him on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/justin.leslie3/ and X at https://x.com/justintegrity_.Support Terrain Theory on Patreon! Send a message/question here!https://ovr40.co/chat to book a free chat with me and Get Unstuck with workouts, diet and lifestyle habits. For years I struggled to understand how to structure my workouts in my 40s - training too much and feeling exhausted, or not doing enough and making zero progress. Then I figured out this 3-dial framework that changed everything. Now at 49, I'm in better shape than I was at 31, training just 3 times a week for 40-45 minutes. In this episode, I break down the three workout variables every man over 40 needs to balance when working out: Intensity, Frequency, and Volume. Get these wrong and you'll either burn out or see no results. Get them right and you'll finally make consistent progress without living in the gym.The 3 Workout Dials:Intensity - How hard you push yourself during each workoutFrequency - How often you train per weekVolume - How many exercises and sets you doThe Secret: Turn TWO dials up high, keep one low. Not one (not enough stimulus), not three (can't recover after 40).My Recommendation for Men Over 40:✅ High Intensity - Push hard on every set✅ High Frequency - Train 3-4 times per week❌ Low Volume - Keep workouts to 4-5 exercises, 3 sets eachThis approach works because it gives your body enough stimulus to build muscle and strength without overwhelming your recovery. After 40, testosterone drops, cortisol runs higher, and recovery becomes harder. You can't train like you did in your 20s.After 16 years of coaching men over 40, this is the framework that gets the best results for sustainable fitness, muscle building, fat loss, and overall health without burnout or injury.MORE RESOURCES FOR MEN OVER 40:

We believe all neighborhoods deserve to be covered in a meaningful way.We amplify positive stories, cover development and local school council meetings and serve as watchdogs in neighborhoods often ostracized by traditional news media.Ground-level coverageOur neighborhood-based reporters don't parachute in once to cover a story. They are in the neighborhoods they cover every day building relationships over time with neighbors. We believe this ground-level approach not only builds community but leads to a more accurate portrayal of a neighborhood.Stories that matter to you — every daySince our launch five years ago, we've published more than 25,000 stories from the neighborhoods, covered hundreds of community meetings and send daily and neighborhood newsletters to more than 130,000 Chicagoans. We've built this loyalty by proving to folks we are not only covering their neighborhoods, we are a part of them. Some of us have internalized the national media's narrative of a broken Chicago. We aim to change that by celebrating our neighborhoods and chronicling the resilience of the people who fight every day to make Chicago a better place for all.
