Today we discuss Tidal Blades designed by the Eisner Brothers and published by Druid City and Skybound Games featuring Jamey Stegmaier from Stonemaier Games! In Tidal Blades 15 years have passed since the Great Battle, a cataclysmic confrontation that spawned a rift into where creatures dwell. Now a tournament is being held to find heroes that can stop the onslaught of monsters that are once again spewing forth! You and up to 2-5 players will compete to become a Tidal Blade, the elite guards of the island realm. To win, you'll need to succeed at challenges being held throughout multiple arenas and rise above the competition. Each day you'll send your hero to take actions on the different Locations and to undertake Challenges. Supernatural Skeptics Guide to New Orleans is a brand new adventure in the fan-favorite franchise of The Walking Dead. Critically acclaimed actress Mara Junot leads listeners through a ten-part horror adventure in the role of host Sarah Bennett. This odyssey is a companion story to The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners VR Game from Skydance Interactive and Skybound Games, which will be available for players to dive into on January 23rd, 2020. The story begins with Part One: Sarah, where our fearless host gives us an in-depth look into the background of the atrocities the infamous Brill family partook in at the LaRouche House. Throughout history, humans have been witnesses to the evil acts that their fellow men are capable of performing, and there is no better example of this than by peering into the dark dealings of this twisted family that took place at a location known for its evil past. The Brills looked like your cookie-cutter American family from the outside looking in. Bernard and Susan were father and mother to a boy and girl pair of twins. However, Sarah Bennett goes onto explain how the Brills were anything but ordinary. The seemingly average family went on to mutilate and murder a dozen people in gruesome manners that led many to believe something supernatural was to blame for turning these people into psychopaths. You may be thinking that only Susan and Bernard were the ones behind these horrendous acts. However, this was not the case with this clan of monsters. "And when I say the Brill family, I mean the entire family -- even the twins took part in the carnage," explains Bennett. Bennet proceeds with the chilling background of the man who had previously lived in the home where the Brills committed their acts of terror. Quentin LaRouche was a cruel slave owner who perpetuated plenty of vile crimes within the confines of his house. "A man so twisted he joked that he painted his walls with the blood of those who he kept as slaves," says Bennett about the slave owner. However, a group of his prisoners eventually banded together and rose against LaRouche, which led to his ultimate demise. Unfortunately for the victims of the Brills, the family claims that the ghost of LaRouche came to them and influenced them to torture and kill individuals in the same manner that he had perished. "What possessed us? The ghost possessed us. This was Quentin LaRouche's home. And he demanded blood," Susan Grill exclaimed to inquisitors as the family's motivation behind the grotesque killings. My goodness, he really tears into this one like nothing before. If you listen in just to hear him rant about some misguided fool then you will love this one, plus you might learn a few new insults. Next up, after he catches his breathe Buck tells us about how some scientists believe they have figured out how to identify the existence of Wormholes. That’s right we said Wormholes. Those supposed mythical sci-fi tunnels through time and space purportedly linking us to the farthest reaches of the universe? Multiverse? Dimensional gateways? Well who knows, the gravity is more then we can fathom at this time. But it is something to do with that….Ahh, almost had me there. You will have to listen in to hear what and how the physicists think they can determine whether or not a wormhole exists. Then we move to a legendary tale for inspiration in what we have crappily dubbed “A Tale of Two Shitties!” Sorry, couldn’t resist the sloppy pun, messy though it is, haha, that just plopped out. Anyway, we look at two epically bad mistakes from two different games studios and have a laugh and cry at the stupidity and hubris involved. These tales of woe and calamity are similar but different, and for one we will cheer and hope. The other we will jeer and poke, fun of naturally. Now, since we have you so excited to know this tale of misfortune we invite ye to listen further to the tale in yonder episode. Releasing on December 3rd, the mini console will include 20 pre-loaded games of which five have been announced so far Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms. PlayStation decides to play well with the other consoles and give their fans and third party partners what they've been asking for. Telltale Games closes their studio and lays off 274 employees except for a staff of two dozen who will remain and finish the port of Minecraft for Netflix. Robert Kirkman, creator and author behind the popular The Walking Dead franchise, will finish production on the final season of The Walking Dead game via his Skybound Games. He also plans to hire on Telltale Games' employees to help with this endeavor. Gamers hoping for a proper ending to the Clementine storyline will get their wish.
