Today on Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we're hitting a hot topic: America jumping into the Israel-Iran war. And I'm just going to say it—I don't think we should've gotten involved. I've supported Donald Trump for years, but I think he got this wrong.Israel just said they didn't need us. This was their fight. Then suddenly, we're bombing a nuclear site and opening doors that didn't need to be opened. And of course, anyone who questions it gets labeled a “panican.” But guess what? The “panicans” are starting to look more and more like prophets, because now, sleeper cells are stirring, and American churches are already under attack. We don't need to be scared, we need to be wise. The Bible calls us to test the spirits, stay watchful, and seek peace when we can. (1 John 4:1, Romans 12:18). So let's talk about it honestly. The ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility. No increased nuclear radiation levels after U.S. bombing in Iran The International Atomic Energy Agency reports no increase in off-site radiation levels at the three Iranian sites bombed by the United States and Israel. The neighboring Kuwait government has also confirmed that “no abnormal radiation levels have been detected in any of the member states.” The whereabouts of 400 kilograms of highly enriched Uranium in Iran is still a mystery. Israel bombed Iran's Evin Prison Israel continues its bombardment on Iran, including a bombing of the notorious Evin prison, where a number of Christians are held, and have been tortured over the last several decades. Trump: Israel & Iran agreed to cease-fire to end “12-Day War” On Monday, President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a cease-fire, declaring an end to what he referred to as “The 12 Day War,” reports The Epoch Times. In a Truth Social Post, Trump wrote,  “It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE … for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered ENDED!” Both sides will wind down their final military operations within 12 hours, beginning what Trump expects to be “PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL” on both sides. The conflict will be declared over within 24 hours. However, The New York Times indicated that there is no confirmation yet from Israel and Iran. Russia bombed Ukraine with 16 missiles and 352 drones The Russian army unleashed a heavy bombardment on Kiev, Ukraine yesterday involving 352 drones and 16 missiles, reports Reuters. At least 10 Ukrainians died in the attack. This follows another attack last week which killed 28 people.  Zelensky assassination plot foiled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was the target of an assassination plot to be carried out by a Polish elderly man who had first been recruited by the Soviet Union decades ago, reports Newsweek. The man was activated to take out Zelensky at Poland's Rzeszów–Jasionka Airport using either a first-person view drone or a sniper rifle. The would-be assassin was a firm believer in Soviet ideology. Michigan church shooting prevented   A heavily-armed man attempted a massacre at the Wayne, Michigan Crosspointe Community Church, reports CBS News. Thankfully, he didn't make it into the building. The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?  When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell.” Ohio pro-life legislators want to protect babies from conception Several Ohio legislators are floating a bill that outlaws the willful murder of a child from the point of conception. The "Ohio Prenatal Equal Protection Act,” introduced by state Representatives Levi Dean and Johnathan Newman, would overturn the 2023 referendum amendment that legalized abortion in Ohio.  In Psalm 22, the psalmist confesses, “You … took me out of the womb; You made me trust while on my mother's breasts. Is there 1 businessperson who could donate $10,000?  3 businesspeople who could give $5,000?  5 businesspeople who could contribute $2,500? If so, those donations would total $37,500. Then we would need another 8 people to pledge $100/month for 12 months for a gift of $1,200.  And another 16 people to pledge $50/month for 12 months for a gift of $600? Please, go to TheWorldview.com and click on Give on the top right.  If you want to make it a monthly pledge, click on the recurring tab. If everybody does something – no matter how big or small – we will knock this relatively modest budget out of the park. Attention donors from this year: Send email urging others to donate! This is the second lesson in Dr. Camden Bucey's Reformed Academy course, Defending Our Hope: An Introduction to Christian Apologetics. How do we perceive reality accurately amidst competing perspectives? This lesson examines worldviews and explores how everyone—whether consciously or not—interprets life through fundamental beliefs. You will learn how Scripture, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, serves as a lens bringing spiritual clarity to metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. Based on Colossians and the Reformed tradition, we compare the Christ-centered worldview with philosophical approaches grounded solely in human reasoning. This lesson enhances your understanding of worldviews, strengthens your ability to identify inconsistencies in contrary perspectives, and empowers you to articulate a gospel-centered understanding of reality with confidence. 01:30 Viewing the World through the Lens of Faith 03:04 Metaphysics, Epistemology, and Ethics 11:01 Worldviews in Contrast 21:25 The Pre-Eminence of Christ in Colossians 34:04 Seeing Clearly with Biblical Spectacles 37:12 Examples of Worldly Vision 39:48 Summary and Conclusion. Who Is the Real Israel?: Tucker, Ted, and the Debate We Needed, Pt. 2

In this episode of Uncommon Sense, we're talking about Tucker Carlson's highly discussed interview with Senator Ted Cruz. I'll be sharing my honest thoughts on how it went, why I think Tucker came out ahead, and what this kind of bold, unscripted, and unapologetically frank conversation means for the future of political discourse (spoiler: I'm all for it). We'll go into why I support constructive confrontation—yes, even when it gets "mean" and uncomfortable. The Founding Fathers didn't tiptoe around the truth, so why should we? They debated passionately because the stakes were high. The polite punditry act is wearing thin, and people are tired of political puppets mouthing safe lines. They're craving what we saw here: real conviction, real disagreement, and real questions. We'll cover why I believe Tucker won this exchange: from his biblical literacy to his serious concerns about foreign lobbying groups like AIPAC having a hand in U.S. policy. Ted got visibly nervous when pressed about Scripture, about Israel, and about U.S. involvement in a possible war with Iran. And the question still lingers: Why are we only now suddenly being pushed to act, when Trump was reportedly targeted by Iran two years ago? Most importantly, we'll reflect on Tucker's question—a theological one with deep political ramifications: Who is the real Israel according to God? Is it the modern state that does not believe Jesus is Lord and historically has required a denial of Christ for Jewish returnees? Or is it the true church—those who belong to Christ?I'll share my belief unapologetically: Israel is the body of believers in Jesus Christ. Not those who reject Him. Not those who crucified Him. That's a hard truth, but a necessary one in these last days when clarity very much matters.Faith shouldn't be a popularity contest.--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-physical?srsltid=AfmBOorwAVEYslTlOGA-36_bHHjruNDOebEKWQ6M2115NZZwL8WG_ali

Who Is the Real Israel?: Tucker, Ted, and the Debate We Needed, Pt. 1

Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson

Gary discusses two recent writings: one a book by Andrew Klavan and the other an article in World Magazine. Both deal with the question often asked by Dr. Gary North: "What is the proper response?" The Bible has the answers to today's moral dilemmas, but too often people believe that modern issues require modern solutions. The Bible deals with human life as it is, not in an idealized way. For this reason, its "ancient" answers are exactly what we need.

It's Wednesday, June 18th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Pakistani Muslims level false accusations against Christians Muslims in Pakistan are using the country's blasphemy laws to target religious minorities. Human Rights Watch released a report on the issue, entitled, “A Conspiracy to Grab the Land: Exploiting Pakistan's Blasphemy Laws for Blackmail and Profit.” For example, Christians experience false accusations of blasphemy against Islam. Locals then weaponize the accusations by inciting mob violence against Christians and seizing their property.  Sadly, the government does little to nothing about such attacks. Pakistan is ranked eighth on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most difficult places to be a Christian.  Psalm 14:4 asks, “Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and do not call on the LORD?” Trump warns Iranian civilians to evacuate Tehran U.S. President Donald Trump called for Iranian civilians to evacuate their capital city of Tehran this week as fighting between Israel and Iran escalates.  And yesterday, he wrote on Truth Social, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader' is hiding.  ... We are not going to take him out. ... at least not for now. But we don't want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.” A senior White House official told Fox News that U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities are on the table.  Supreme Court: Religious groups cannot be compelled to fund abortion On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling that had previously forced religious groups to fund abortions. The state of New York required groups, including churches, to cover abortions in their health insurance plans for employees. Religious groups have been challenging the policy for years. Attorney Noel Francisco commented on the case. He said, “Religious groups in the Empire State should not be forced to provide insurance coverage that violates their deeply held religious beliefs. We are confident that New York will finally get the message and stop discriminating against religious objectors.” House voted to cut $9 billion in foreign aid and public broadcasting The U.S. House of representatives narrowly passed a measure to cut $9 billion in funding for foreign aid and public broadcasting.  The House approved the legislation by a vote of 214-212 last Thursday.  House Speaker Mike Johnson commented, “It is just one of the ways Republicans are codifying DOGE's findings and putting taxpayer dollars to better use.” The bill faces an uncertain future in the U.S. Senate. Children's Hospital in Los Angeles closes its transgender center The Children's Hospital in Los Angeles recently announced it will close its so-called “Center for Transyouth Health and Development” next month.  The center performed sex mutilating surgeries and offered puberty-blocking drugs to children.  The announcement follows an executive order from President Trump that bans federal funding for transgender operations for minors. Alabama has most people with Biblical worldview; Rhode Island the least Dr. George Barna released a new report on the worldview of Americans ranked by state. The report notes that only 4% of U.S. adults hold to a Biblical worldview. However, that number varies by state. The states with the highest proportion of adults with a Biblical worldview are Alabama at 12.6%, Mississippi at 12.5%, South Carolina at 9.8%, and Arkansas at 9%. States with the least proportion of adults with a Biblical worldview are Rhode Island at 0.25%, Maine at 1.1%, Nebraska at 1.5% and Massachusetts at 1.8%.  Even though states like Alabama and Mississippi have a higher incidence of adults with a Biblical worldview, Dr. Barna noted, “In absolute terms, every state in the union is failing miserably at developing the biblical worldview among its residents.” Isaiah 55:7 says, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Worldview listeners in Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Kentucky share their hearts I invited Worldview listeners to share what they enjoy about the newscast in 2-6 sentences by email.  You can share your thoughts — along with your full name, city and state — and send it to adam@TheWorldview.com Barabara Resheske in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin wrote, “I read every word of The Worldview transcript because it confirms my belief that the world is in turmoil, but Christ is in control. I pray when you request prayers for the persecuted. I thank you for telling us what the mass media doesn't.  Indeed, I thank you for truth, honesty, and transparency.” Ruth Stapp in Edmond, Oklahoma wrote, “I love The Worldview and look forward to seeing it every day. Your information is exactly what I need. I do not enjoy watching the news on TV because of the bias and lies. Plus, your newscast gives me an opportunity to delve further into any of the stories that spark my interest through the links you provide.”  And Daniel Wojnicki in Louisville, Kentucky. wrote,  “I enjoy that The Worldview gives facts and news insights all in one short newscast. Because it's a Christian news source, there is no distortion of the truth.  Being informed about the truth is very rare these days, especially in an age ruled by corrupted news anchors.” 8 Worldview listeners gave $3,022 to fund our annual budget And finally, toward our $92,625 goal by this Friday, June 20th  to fund three-quarters of The Worldview newscast's annual budget for our 6-member team, 8  listeners stepped up to the plate as of 4:00pm Central yesterday afternoon. Our thanks to Margaret in Raleigh, North Carolina who gave $25 and Jessica in Delmar, Maryland who gave $50. We're grateful to God for Mandy in Walpole, New Hampshire and Max in Macon, Georgia – both of whom gave $200 as well as Rose in Everson, Washington who gave $247. And we were touched by the generosity of Carlee in Keswick Ridge, New Brunswick, Canada who pledged $25/month for 12 months for a gift of $300, Susan in San Antonio, Texas who gave $1,000, and Scooter in Naples, Florida who gave $1,000 to match Susan's gift. Those 8 Worldview listeners gave a total of $3,022. Ready for our new grand total? Drum roll please.  (Drum roll sound effect) $46,896.70 (People clapping and cheering sound effect)   Toward this Friday, June 20th's goal of $92,625, we need to raise $45,728.30. Remember, if you are one of the final 2 people who will give a one-time gift of $1,000, Scooter in Naples, Florida will match you with a corresponding $1,000 gift of his own.  I am wondering if there are two businesspeople in our listening audience  – two -- who would consider a generous $10,000 matching gift if 5 other listeners gave a one-time gift of $2,000. If you are one of those 2 businesspeople, please email me at adam@TheWorldview.com and include your phone number so we can chat. I need to find 20 Worldview listeners who will pledge $50/month for 12 months for a gift of $600. And another 40 listeners to pledge $25/month for 12 months for a gift of $300. Go to TheWorldview.com and click on Give on the top right. Your gift will help us fund the 6-member Worldview newscast team for another fiscal year. Close And that's The Worldview on this Wednesday, June 18th, in the year of our Lord 2025.  Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.  Plus, you can get the Generations app through Google Play or The App Store. I'm Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com). Seize the day for Jesus Christ.

Our worldview shapes what we think, how we live, and the kind of culture we create. So when our communities bear bitter fruit—poverty, corruption, injustice—we need to look at the roots below the surface. In this episode, we explore how worldviews are formed, how they shape entire societies, and why true transformation comes from working at this level. Too often, Christian mission stops at conversion and overlooks the need for deep worldview discipleship, leaving people with many unbiblical cultural assumptions. Lasting change comes when our minds are renewed, leading to flourishing not only in our lives, but also in our families and nations as we live into God's design.Main Topics:What Is a Worldview? – How it forms and why it mattersIdeas Flow Downstream – From philosophers to principles to lifestylesRooted in Truth – How biblical worldview transforms hearts and societiesIt starts with us. On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, I explain why I've shifted to a neutral stance on the Israel-Iran conflict. While mainstream media pressures us to “pick a side,” Scripture tells a deeper story, one that's not bound by modern borders or politics.Christians are the true Israel, not by race or nation, but by faith in Christ. The Church is the chosen people of God, not a geopolitical state. So why are we being told that standing with the a government equals standing with God?We'll unpack the phrase “Judeo-Christian”—what it really means (and what it doesn't)—and discuss how religiously manipulative narratives can cloud our judgment. Supporting everything any group does (whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim) is not biblical discernment. It's idolatry.None of us are perfect. Not every Christian represents Christ well, and not every Jew or Muslim represents their faith's ideals either. So let's step back, seek the truth, and refuse to be emotionally blackmailed into blind allegiance.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

Through an encounter with Jesus Christ and the support of a loving church, Walt got his life back (“detransitioned”) and has been restored for over 30 years. In a world where information is everywhere—and answers are just a tap away—how can we equip our daughters to discern truth from fiction, wisdom from noise, and God's Word from worldly rhetoric? In this episode of the Raising Godly Girls Podcast, co-hosts Rachael and Natalie invite listeners into a thought-provoking and laughter-filled conversation about raising critical thinkers who are firmly rooted in a Biblical Worldview.  Join us as we explore the very real challenge of outsourced thinking—a cultural default where girls often parrot popular talking points without wrestling with the “why” behind their beliefs. Drawing from a recent Raising Godly Girls Minute with American Heritage Girls Founder & Executive Director Emeritus Patti Garibay and real-life parenting moments, Rachael and Natalie offer practical insights and Biblical guardrails for helping your daughter engage deeply, rather than passively, with the ideas that flood her mind daily.  Whether your girl is still young and curious or in the thick of her teenage years, this episode will give you tools to help her filter everything through the lens of Scripture. You'll learn how to teach her to measure every new idea against John 14:6, to stand strong even when her views aren't popular (Matthew 7:13–14), and to always be ready to defend her faith with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).  Plus, we'll introduce resources like AHG's Discover Good and Live RESTfully Patch Programs and Summit Ministries' worldview tools—resources designed to help families strengthen spiritual muscles over the summer and beyond. These aren't just parenting strategies; they're discipleship opportunities for your girl's heart and mind.  If you're ready to guide your daughter to be wise, discerning, and grounded in truth in an age of noise and confusion, this episode is a must-listen.  Explore more resources to raise girls rooted in Christ at raisinggodlygirls.com.   To find or start an AHG Troop in your area, visit americanheritagegirls.org.

Supporting everything any group does (whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim) is not biblical discernment. It's idolatry.None of us are perfect. Not every Christian represents Christ well, and not every Jew or Muslim represents their faith's ideals either. The Church is the chosen people of God, not a geopolitical state. Too many boys are turning to virtual worlds of television, video games, digital media, and the internet to find realms they can conquer and areas where they can excel. The result of this virtual conquest is often apathy, apparent rebellion, or outright resistance to real-world challenge. How can a biblical worldview speak to this issue and offer young men a flourishing vision for their future?  Today's guest is Mark Hancock, who is the CEO of Trail Life. Mark began his career founding a national advertising agency and running it for fifteen years. His conversion to Christ led him into ministry as a Youth and College Pastor, Associate Pastor, Homeless Ministry Director and Global Event Director for an international ministry, organizing events on five continents. He holds two Masters Degrees in the Mental Health Counseling field, having spent several years in private practice, and has taught at secular and Christian colleges. Mark has been a guest on numerous radio and television programs including: Fox Nation's Starnes Country, Family Life Radio, Focus on the Family, and James Dobson's Family Talk Program. In 2017, Mark was named to the American Family Association's '40 Faithful'. An author, award-winning writer, and conference speaker, he serves as Chief Executive Officer of Trail Life USA and lives near Greenville, SC with his wife of over 30 years. They  have two sons. Today, we're taking a look at the unraveling mayhem situation in California, where Governor Gavin Newsom's failure to lead has allowed chaos to run absolutely wild. Violent riots involving illegal immigrants (most of whom are military-aged men) are breaking out across the state. These individuals are not assimilating, they are disrupting, demanding, and waving foreign flags while burning ours on American soil. As California spirals, it's no surprise that federal intervention has become necessary. President Trump has stepped in where state "leadership" would not. This really isn't about politics, it's about preserving order, protecting citizens, and upholding the rule of law. We are a people who serve a God of justice, not disorder. What's happening is not compassionate, it's destabilizing. California deserves better, and America must wake up before this becomes the norm nationwide. God forbid. Let's talk about what's really going on in California and why prayer, truth, and resolve are crucial right now.--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-physical?srsltid=AfmBOoqJuDPZk6H7VWSxgepSo3RWAJCtIGO9wrHmULH1iMgxSzkJ791_--Order CULTure: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/SLYWFXAB6479S

Raising Godly Girls

In a world that equates disagreement with hate and silence with complicity, how can we help our daughters respond with both courage and compassion? During Pride Month, our girls are bombarded with bold, affirming messages about identity, love, and truth—many of which conflict with a Biblical Worldview. In this important episode of the Raising Godly Girls Podcast, co-hosts Rachael and Melissa guide moms through a Gospel-centered approach to helping girls navigate the cultural noise and stand firm in truth, without compromising love.  The conversation explores how Jesus modeled both radical love and unshakable truth. He didn't ignore sin, but neither did He alienate sinners—He welcomed, embraced, and transformed. That's the same kind of posture we want to equip our girls with: one that listens before speaking, responds with grace, and stands firm in God's Word. You'll hear practical guidance for how to initiate meaningful conversations, ask thoughtful questions, and lay a foundation for Biblical identity and understanding in girls of all ages.  Featuring a heartfelt Raising Godly Girls Minute from AHG Founder & Executive Director Emeritus Patti Garibay, this episode offers wisdom for those gut-punch parenting moments—like when a daughter expresses confusion about her sexuality or hears something challenging at school. Rather than reacting with fear, we're called to respond with faith, wrapped in compassion and anchored in truth.  Whether your daughter is watching YouTube shorts filled with Pride content, engaging in classroom discussions, or hearing cultural messages about “loving without limits,” this episode will equip you to walk with her in both tenderness and truth. Learn how to teach your girl that kindness is not the same as agreement, that truth is rooted in Scripture—not feelings—and that she doesn't have to have all the answers to be a faithful witness.  Raising Godly girls isn't about winning culture wars. It's about preparing hearts to follow Jesus with clarity, courage, and compassion. And as Rachael and Melissa remind us—these conversations aren't one-and-done, but ongoing opportunities to disciple our daughters with grace and wisdom.   Find an American Heritage Girls Troop near you, visit americanheritagegirls.org        Add even more Biblical wisdom to your parenting quiver, visit raisinggodlygirls.com

Why do so many young Christians feel like their faith is just another item on a crowded to-do list? Why does boredom creep in when it comes to something as life-changing as a relationship with God? Recent studies show a surprising shift—Gen Z men are now more likely than women to identify as religious, flipping a generational trend. But what does that really mean? As culture moves faster and attention spans shrink, many in Gen Z are craving something deeper, more meaningful, more real. In this episode, we're asking the big questions—about faith, purpose, identity, and how to actually think well in a reactive world. Today's guest is Ryan Pauly. Ryan is the Founder and President of Think Well, the Director of Immersive Experiences at MAVEN, and an Adjunct Professor of Theology and Apologetics at Biola University. He has been working with junior high, high school, and college students for over a decade as a missionary, school teacher, speaker, and apologist.
