This will be the standard for panels going forward.Scott's Top Takeaways:It's important to understand that when you decentralize, different aspects can - and should - move at different paces. Your roadmap needs to account for that but it should also take advantage of that. Domains can go at their own pace, including ones looking to quickly drive towards significant data value.Everyone's roadmap, by their inherent nature, will be unique based to the organization's context. Trying to copy-paste from another organization will end badly. That said, there are some pretty core capabilities that all mesh roadmaps should have.A roadmap should point you...

Cathy Louise has been teaching Ashtanga Yoga for 31 years. Her first teacher was Beryl Bender Birch, who she did a two-year apprenticeship with in New York in the late 1980s. Cathy Louise's early studies with Beryl still inform her teaching today. Cathy Louise met Pattabhi Jois during his first visit to New York and received his blessing to teach Ashtanga in 2000. Known for her transformative hands-on adjustments, Cathy Louise's teaching style also owes much to John Scott. In the late 1990s, she assisted John in his Mysore classes in London and then inherited her own Mysore style classes at Astanga Yoga London. While in London she taught vinyasa yoga at Triyoga, did a year-long apprenticeship in Pregnancy Yoga with Lynne Pinette, and met Nancy Gilgoff who was pivotal in empowering Cathy Louise as a female Ashtanga teacher. Cathy Louise's Pregnancy and Mom & Baby classes draw on her experience as a mother of three. In her Ashtanga classes too, she openly shares her journey as a woman so students may learn how best to adjust the practice of yoga in all stages of their lives. Perimenopause is the time before menopause. A woman's hormone levels start to change causing symptoms like: Irregular menstrual cycles – ovulation becomes less regular. Flow can be lighter or heavier Hot flashes – hormone changes can start to create hot flashes. Sleep problems – due to hot flashes or “night sweats”. Mood changes – hormone levels change meaning some women have more mood swings, irritable. Decreased fertility – ovulation becomes less regular so it's harder to conceive. Changes in sexual feeling – less interested in sex. Loss of bone density – with lower oestrogen bones lose density faster than you can replace bone. Changes in cholesterol levels – lower oestrogen levels can make you start to have “high cholesterol”. Other symptoms can be vaginal dryness, weight gain, slow metabolism, thinning hair, and dry skin. Menopause is when you have not had a menstrual cycle for at least a 12-month period. Menopause can happen in your 40s to 50s. The average age in the US of menopause is 51 years old. Symptoms can continue as with “perimenopausal” symptoms, and you can also experience: Fatigue, difficulty concentrating or memory loss, dizziness, weight gain, incontinence, bloating, changes in body odour, depression and anxiety, breast pain, headaches, joint pain, burning tongue, muscle tension, dry itchy skin, osteoporosis, gum problems, anxiety, brittle nails, tingling in the legs/arms. Early Menopause or Premature Menopausecan happen any time before the usual age of 40s-50s. Early menopause can come with having a hysterectomy (removal of ovaries), chemotherapy (cancer treatment) or stress. It's important if you have early menopause that you have a balanced diet and take medical advice to make sure you remain healthy.

O to właśnie zapytaliśmy gości ostatniego odcinka "Raportu - sezonu nieogórkowego". Żeby do nich dojść, trzeba pokonać wiele potoków i wzniesień. Na obrzeżach Koniakowa w Beskidzie Śląskim, niedaleko styku granic Słowacji, Czech i Polski, w drewnianym, przytulonym do góry domu, spotkaliśmy ludzi, dla których to pogranicze jest centrum. On: to muzyk, budowniczy instrumentów ludowych, nauczyciel i filozof. Ona: pieśniarka, prowadząca warsztaty śpiewu tradycyjnego. Oboje: szukający źródeł. Joining me on this roundtable #ThePOZcastLIVE episode are Kelli Hrivnak, Ben Nader, Adam Broda, and Dan Roth. Kelli is the founder of Knak Digital, which specializes in executive recruitment for technology, digital marketing, and creative talent. Ben Nader is the founder of Recruiter Empire, the largest growth network for recruiters and soon-to-be recruiters. Adam Broda is the founder of Broda coaching, which helps non-tech candidates transition into tech and engineering roles. Dan Roth is a neurodiverse recruiter who also runs the largest job seeker platform on LinkedIn. Join us for an honest discussion about the nature of the labor market, what mistakes are being made by candidates and employers, and much more about the future of work. This Episode's Heavy-hitter's: One thing everyone can agree on– it's currently a job seeker-focused market, and even borderline candidates are getting paid way above the rates they would warrant in a more typical job market. Part of pay transparency via making salaries public information is accompanying it with more information on how salary is determined, and what the employers deem to be valuable. Kelli says that a lot of the turnover at companies seems not to be based on salary at all. Instead, there seems to be an issue in the vetting process determining culture fit via virtual interviews. There's a tricky balance in the hiring process of senior candidates, between giving enough time for the interview process to work its magic, and remaining competitive enough to not lose the candidate to a company that's willing to hire more quickly. Dan has the belief that LinkedIn audio is going to change the recruiting game, as that sort of live experience where a recruiter can vet a candidate during the conversation, and cut down tremendously on the hiring process timeline. By working on our mindset consistently we can work on overcoming some of our limiting beliefs.Reframing exercise as movement and movement that we enjoy doing is a great way to get yourself introduced to doing more activity in your day.A great way to find more ways to incorporate movement into your day is to break down the activities you already like doing and figuring out which parts of those you love and where you can find those same aspects in other activities. It's just about finding things that you can do to move your body consistently. The three components you need for building an exercise system and getting results with it are: First is consistency - next is having it challenge you and thirdly crafting a positive mindset around your routine.Make sure to first build your mindset and then your systems once you have those set you can build up your tips and tricks. Don't let yourself get bogged down in the little details before you create your foundation.

See their Data Mesh Summit recordings https://www.starburst.io/learn/events-webinars/datanova?datameshradio (here) (info gated) In this episode, Scott interviews Eric Broda, an Executive Consultant in the financial services space. Eric shared his learnings from aiding a large financial services firm to implement data mesh from the infancy of the project. Eric's big thesis for companies looking to be data-driven is to think of themselves as a platform for connecting supply and demand. The internal company may be the supplier, e.g. if a bank is lending money directly, but more often it is about being the platform - so here to match investors to consumers looking to take out a loan. Lowering the friction between both sides of your constituency is crucial and getting really good at data can help there. To Eric, the technology is like plumbing - you expect it to work but most businesses at the high level don't care about it as long as it works. You don't buy a house for the plumbing. Eric's big point of advice is that you shouldn't underestimate the organizational change required to do something like data mesh right. Plan for the change and don't try to skip the necessary change, that will lead to disaster. Speaking of organizational structure, Eric firmly believes that centralization of data ownership fails Conway's Law. While companies can overcome that with a LOT of effort, most don't get there due to fatigue. When developing a new data product, Eric recommends to first start with expected usage patterns pretty explicitly via a 1:1 relationship model; at least early in a data product's life, the data produced needs to explicitly match the needs of the first target data consumer. This is a departure from data mesh recommended practice but seems to be somewhat of a common emerging pattern, at least in financial services. Eric also stated his belief that master data management - or MDM - "is dead", especially in data mesh. It hasn't ever really worked and it's not worth trying to do it with data mesh. Time will tell on that one. Michael Broda originally from Cologne, Germany (my hometown) is now building an Esports Group from Prague, Czech Republic. Insiders know that Eastern Europe is a hot bed for start-ups with smart tech entrepreneurs in the region. Michael plays both across his native German-speaking markets and Eastern Europe and is now looking to conquer the world with ESPL, a new gaming platform for the casual gamer. Lots of great insights into the Esports ecosystem and tech side of the business. Enjoy.
