As a second-generation Teamster from Atlas Warehouse, a third-party logistics company that services Kroger, Josh has been a Teamster for over 22 years and is currently based in Arizona. He has played a key role in securing some of the union's strongest contracts at Sysco, most notably the recent agreement at Local 690 in Washington, which provided Teamsters members with a wage increase of over 30 percent. In a wide-ranging conversation, Leslie and Josh dug into what has quietly become one of the most consequential labor stories in the country: the growing power of the Teamsters at Sysco, one of the nation's most profitable food service giants. The discussion began with a recent win in Spokane, where drivers represented by Teamsters Local 690 ratified a four-year contract delivering major gains, including significant wage increases, lower health care costs, stronger pensions, and more vacation time. Graves emphasized that those gains were driven by workers' willingness to authorize a strike, a show of unity that forced Sysco back to the table. That local victory, he explained, is part of a much larger strategy. Marshall and Graves pointed to the first-ever regional Sysco contract covering more than 1,000 Teamsters across Northern California and Nevada, where coordinated bargaining and a credible strike threat produced similarly strong results. The agreement not only boosted pay and benefits but also included important protections around safety and automation, setting standards that extend beyond a single facility or city. It's just Andrew and Tim this week. Andrew spent the last several days at a denominational conference in Chicago. It was cold, a little discouraging, and spiritually character building in the way only winter and long meetings can be. Thankfully, church on Sunday reminded him why we do this in the first place.Back at Safety Harbor, it was too cold for anyone to sit outside, which somehow led to a great problem. A bunch of college students showed up. There was also a little bit of exploding communion and foot washing. Not really, but almost.At Lakeview, the cold weather forced baptisms to move indoors. Unfortunately, the heat was not working, so the symbolism remained intact. Cold water, cold air, warm faith. Tim is now officially entering the fundraising chapter of his ministry career as Lakeview begins the process of building their new worship center.

The probable cause affidavit in the Michael McKee case has been unsealed, and the details are damning. According to court documents filed in Franklin County, McKee allegedly stalked his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer for weeks before their December 30th murders—and drove 900 miles round trip in just 17 hours to carry out the killings.Here's what we now know from the affidavit:McKee allegedly entered the Tepe property on December 6th while the couple was at the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis. Surveillance video captured him on the property for several hours. Monique left the game at halftime, reportedly upset about something involving her ex-husband.Witnesses told investigators McKee had threatened Monique for years, allegedly telling her he could "kill her at any time" and that she would "always be his wife." At least one witness reported allegations of strangulation and forced sex during their marriage.On December 29th, McKee allegedly left his cell phone at the hospital where he worked in Rockford, Illinois. That phone showed no activity for 17 hours—the exact window needed to drive 450 miles to Columbus, commit the murders at approximately 3:50 a.m., and return.Investigators tracked a silver SUV with a distinctive window sticker to McKee. After the murders, fresh scrape marks appeared where the sticker had been. A firearm found at his Chicago condo was matched through ballistics to the crime scene.McKee was arrested 11 days later at a Chick-fil-A near his workplace.
