Discover the powerful message in CJ Muston's sermon on 1 Corinthians 10: Put God First. Dive into two key themes - we should not put anything in our lives above or in between us and God, and we should not be the reason someone else steps further away from God. Drawing from Paul's warnings against worshiping false gods, learn why we must run away from anything that comes between us and God. Explore verses like 1 Corinthians 10:14-15, 10:23-24 on how everything is permitted but not beneficial, and how we must build others up and look out for each other instead of seeking our own advantage.Understand how living out our faith directly affects people around us and their ability to put God first. From eating everything sold in the marketplace (1 Corinthians 10:25-27) without questions for conscience's sake, to ensuring our actions don't get in the way of an unbeliever following Jesus. Featuring insights from For King and Country's "Broken Halos" quote: "Way too shy to bear our souls, so we shout opinions, but nobody listens." Delve into 1 Corinthians 10:28-31 on respecting others' conscience, limiting our freedom to show respect to others and God, and doing everything for God's glory.CJ Muston challenges: Don't offend Jews, Greeks, or God's church (1 Corinthians 10:32-33). Please everyone, look out for many so they can be saved. Reflect with prayers like: "God, is there anything in my life more important than you? Please give me clear direction on steps to put you first again." And "God, are there interactions I need to change so people are drawn closer to you and not pushed further away?"God wants to be close to you and first in your life - and in the lives of those around you. Perfect for believers seeking to live faith without pushing others away. Matt Black: The Road to House of DavidCedarville University junior Matt Black is living proof that storytelling — when fueled by faith and purpose — can open extraordinary doors. A broadcasting, digital media, and journalism major, Matt is the founder of Matt Black Media and a rising force in performance photography. But his latest endeavor has taken him from concert stages to biblical epic: he's joined the Wonder Project team for House of David, a dramatic series created by Jon Erwin (Jesus Revolution) and now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.Matt brings more than technical skill to the set — he brings heart. His journey started in 2018 at Word of Life camps in New York, where his camera and his calling first intersected. That passion deepened during his internship with Word of Life Fellowship after high school, where he saw how visual storytelling could serve ministry.Since enrolling at Cedarville, his impact has only grown. In 2023, a spontaneous “yes” to photograph Winter Jam in Tampa, Florida, became a defining moment. Since then, Matt has worked with artists like Crowder, Lecrae, Danny Gokey, and For King and Country. His content has reached thousands through social media and promotional campaigns — each image a message of hope. Now, as part of House of David, Matt helps bring Scripture to life on screen, using his visual gifts to illuminate truth for a global audience. On the Cedarville Stories podcast, he urges young creatives to “embrace opportunities and say yes.” Clearly, he's done exactly that.https://share.transistor.fm/s/4684384fhttps://youtu.be/SPH4Ceh9aIY

Vasek Mlejnsky from E2B joins us today to talk about sandboxes for AI agents. In the last 2 years, E2B has grown from a handful of developers building on it to being used by ~50% of the Fortune 500 and generating millions of sandboxes each week for their customers. As the “death of chat completions” approaches, LLMs workflows and agents are relying more and more on tool usage and multi-modality. The most common use cases for their sandboxes: - Run data analysis and charting (like Perplexity) - Execute arbitrary code generated by the model (like Manus does) - Running evals on code generation (see LMArena Web) - Doing reinforcement learning for code capabilities (like HuggingFace) Timestamps: 00:00:00 Introductions 00:00:37 Origin of DevBook -> E2B 00:02:35 Early Experiments with GPT-3.5 and Building AI Agents 00:05:19 Building an Agent Cloud 00:07:27 Challenges of Building with Early LLMs 00:10:35 E2B Use Cases 00:13:52 E2B Growth vs Models Capabilities 00:15:03 The LLM Operating System (LLMOS) Landscape 00:20:12 Breakdown of JavaScript vs Python Usage on E2B 00:21:50 AI VMs vs Traditional Cloud 00:26:28 Technical Specifications of E2B Sandboxes 00:29:43 Usage-based billing infrastructure 00:34:08 Pricing AI on Value Delivered vs Token Usage 00:36:24 Forking, Checkpoints, and Parallel Execution in Sandboxes 00:39:18 Future Plans for Toolkit and Higher-Level Agent Frameworks 00:42:35 Limitations of Chat-Based Interfaces and the Future of Agents 00:44:00 MCPs and Remote Agent Capabilities 00:49:22 LLMs.txt, scrapers, and bad AI bots 00:53:00 Manus and Computer Use on E2B 00:55:03 E2B for RL with Hugging Face 00:56:58 E2B for Agent Evaluation on LMArena 00:58:12 Long-Term Vision: E2B as Full Lifecycle Infrastructure for LLMs 01:00:45 Future Plans for Hosting and Deployment of LLM-Generated Apps 01:01:15 Why E2B Moved to San Francisco 01:05:49 Open Roles and Hiring Plans at E2B
Have you ever been walking through life when you happen to look over and see someone else walking in the same direction? It's like your spirit shouts, “Oh, me too!”This is precisely what happened to Josh and Christi with their dearest friends, Luke (one-half of 4-Time Grammy Award winning For King & Country duo) and his wife, Courtney (founder of Technicolor Woman and author of Technicolor Woman Devotional). Their ensuing friendship is one they share about in this episode, because it's a testament to how our closest relationships shape our character. And that's not just a cute social media post; it's a scientific fact. We truly are the sum of those we spend the most time with. As we continue our series on The People Who Shape Us, Luke and Courtney join us to talk about how trusted friends call us higher, the beautiful consequences of letting others in, and how our adult friendships even shape our children. “If we have eyes to see, we uncover joy almost everywhere. Like someone searching for sand crabs on the coastline, we may not find her under every rock. But we also don't need to look too hard before we uncover her.” This is a quote from the new book, Longing for Joy. There are many misconceptions about joy. There are many people who may struggle with joylessness because of anxiety, depression, or other factors. But there is also an availability of joy, true deep joy, to be found in Christ and his creation. This episode today is one of those moments where I think God is up to something. I've seen, heard, and read a lot about joy as of late. When I hear something pop up in a lot of conversations, that's usually a sign to me that God is wanting to do a work in us related to this topic - and it was an added nudge from God when I saw the new book, Longing for Joy, by Alastair Sterne, which quickly turned into one of my favorite books of the year. I'm joined today by Alastair to talk about the reality of longing, joy found in creation and each other, practices that help cultivate joy, and much more. This lecture discusses key ideas from the 20th century philosophical short story writer, essayist, and poet Jorge Luis Borges's story "The Garden of Forking Paths" which can be found in Collected Fictions. It focuses on the narrative at the center of the larger story, the production of a labyrinth as a novel by Ts'ui Pen, and its translation, editing, and explanation by the sinologist Dr. Stephen Albert. The Garden of Forking Paths is that novel, which appears to be contradictory, confused, a chaos, but which represents an image of the universe as Ts'ui Pen understands it, particularly in terms of the dimension of time, which is neither linear, nor cyclical, but a much more complex network of diverging, converging, and parallel timelines To support my ongoing work, go to my Patreon site - www.patreon.com/sadler If you'd like to make a direct contribution, you can do so here - www.paypal.me/ReasonIO - or at BuyMeACoffee - www.buymeacoffee.com/A4quYdWoM You can find over 3000 philosophy videos in my main YouTube channel - www.youtube.com/user/gbisadler Get Borges' Collected Fictions here - https://amzn.to/3xZnwHA
Ministry From Behind the Lens Matt Black is a young entrepreneur with a creative eye and a heart for Christ. As the founder of Matt Black Media, Matt balances the growing demands of his burgeoning career as a performance photographer with his studies at Cedarville University, where he is a junior majoring in broadcasting, digital media, and journalism. After high school, Matt served as an intern with Word of Life Fellowship, where he discovered his passion for the artistic and ministry possibilities that lay within the lens of his camera. Matt soon thereafter recognized his ability to assist musical artists in conveying the message of Christ. On this week's episode of the Cedarville Stories podcast, Matt offers valuable insight to fellow young photographers, encouraging them to “embrace opportunities and say yes.” In 2023, he heeded this advice by responding to a last-minute text invitation to photograph Winter Jam in Tampa, Florida. This decision opened his eyes to the potential impact of his work and future opportunities. Since that initial concert, Matt's willingness to seize opportunities and his enthusiasm for supporting the ministries of Christian musicians have enabled him to collaborate with Crowder, For King and Country, Lecrae, and Danny Gokey. His work has gained exposure on prominent social media platforms and various marketing campaigns. Tune in to the podcast to learn more about Matt and how he contributes to the ministries of others from behind the scenes. https://share.transistor.fm/s/5f16c011https://youtu.be/QTbxhbIONA8

I have a very vivid memory of a specific church service about 10 years ago. My wife and I go into the worship center, find seats in our usual section, but the stage looks different. There are instruments I've never seen on our stage, and in a configuration that I didn't recognize. When the service starts, a group of people come out onto the stage in long coats, suspenders, moppish hair, and then the drum starts. The rap of the single snare drum (make sound) that I hadn't heard in that way before but have come to be very familiar with now. That service sticks out so much in my mind because that's the kind of effect For King & Country have. The experience was so exciting, so fresh, and the music itself had a similar effect. Since then, For King & Country have become one of the biggest names in Christian music as four-time Grammy winners with hit songs such as Crave, The Proof of Your Love, Fix Your Eyes, Priceless, Joy, and so many more. But they've also now ventured into other forms of storytelling, with movies they've been involved in like Unsung Hero and the new theatrical release of their Christmas Concert, Drummer Boy Live. Today's guest is Luke Smallbone, half of the duo known as For King & Country along with his brother Joel. In this conversation host Jason Wieland talks with Luke about how he sees Jesus show up in the songwriting process, the power of storytelling, how being a parent changes perspective, the special effect experiences have on us, and much more. This lecture discusses key ideas from the 20th century philosophical short story writer, essayist, and poet Jorge Luis Borges's story "The Garden of Forking Paths" which can be found in Collected Fictions. It focuses on the narrative of the spy or secret agent genre which provides the outer shell of the more metaphysical narrative nested within it. This story centers around a Chinese spy for the German Empire during World War, Dr Yu Tsun, who intends to communicate the location of a British artillery concentration on the Western front in France. Tsun is pursued by Capt Richard Madden, who has already caught one of Tsun's fellow agents, and who catches him at the house of the sinologist Dr. Stephen Albert, who fortuitously has translated and provides an explanation of the labyrinth and novel of Tsun's great grandfather Ts'ui Pen. It turns out that the novel, The Garden of Forking Paths, is the labyrinth. Tsun kills Albert just as Madden arrives, in order to be able to communicate his message to his German spymaster. My first guest after the summer break is Tim Frenneaux, whom I first met in his role as Source for the Piʌot project which is a thoroughly engaging and inspiring new concept, that he describes as a people-powered movement for regenerative transformation. As you'll hear, Tim really understands what it is to live - to dance - at the inter-becoming edge of emergence. He's a multi-talented, multi-hatted entrepreneur, who once established England's only carbon negative Local Industrial Strategy whilst working as Head of Economic Policy, and now specialises in regenerative businesses transformation. Tim is a bookseller, regenerative business designer and rebel economist on a journey to understand his role in the great system of life. Through his practice, he cultivates an emotional connection with this pivotal moment for life on Earth to create change and transformation that comes from the heart not just the head. Because of this work, the Doughnut Economics Action Lab have, called him a thought leader, though he prefers to think of himself as a thought weaver. He also works as a consultant, facilitator and public speaker on regenerative design, and runs a monthly book subscription, Adventurous Ink, which helps people reconnect with themselves and the wider world. In this wide-ranging conversation, we move from ideas of how to bring the UK's water companies back into genuine public ownership, to how we could build political consensus around bio-regions, to what it is to walk the doughnut of Doughnut Economics. This was a really encouraging, enlivening conversation to start our new season and I hope you find it takes you further in your own journey - it certainly helped me.
