Send us a textRHOP-Save a Hoe, Stir the PotPodcast Summary: RHOP S10 E3 — “Chin Checked”This week's Real Housewives of Potomac was packed with confrontations, shifting alliances, and a few “chin checks” — figuratively and maybe even literally. We start with Angel and her husband Bobby discussing their house budget before the drama unfolds elsewhere. Ashley keeps her competitive spirit alive in a workout class, while Stacy works on daughter Arabella's runway walk and opens up about rekindling things with her ex-husband.Wendy meets with Kiarna to hash out their differences outside of the usual group chaos. What starts as an attempt to make peace quickly devolves into finger-pointing — literally — as both women accuse each other of fake friendship and double standards.Later, Angel reveals to Bobby that Gizelle told her Kiarna said she “chin checked” her. Angel's confused and insulted by the term, setting the stage for more tension.Meanwhile, Stacy and Jassi reconnect over lunch, talk wedding plans, and gossip about Gizelle's rumored new NFL boyfriend. Stacy can't believe Gizelle calls her fake while hiding her own relationship.Tia has family drama brewing — her teenage daughters argue as she and her husband Rob discuss balancing parenting, work, and Nigerian-American family expectations. Then Gizelle, Angel, Tia, and Wendy meet up to plan a girls trip to Nevis for some “fun and floaty vibes.” But peace doesn't last long. Gizelle stirs the pot again about the “chin check” comment, which leads to a heated back-and-forth at Kiarna's pre-Preakness brunch.Kiarna owns up to saying she “chin checked” Angel, apologizing in front of the group — but Wendy calls out inconsistencies, and the mood turns icy. Angel tries to de-escalate but ends up in another tense exchange with Wendy. At the actual Preakness event, tensions spill over champagne — literally — when Wendy makes a shady joke about Kiarna's spilled drink, and Angel tells Wendy to back off. Kiarna explodes, dropping multiple “F-bombs,” while Stacy jokes she's keeping her “QVC voice on” to stay out of it.By the end, Angel reflects in her confessional that she's misunderstood but secure in who she is, while Gizelle toasts to moving forward — though no one seems ready to let anything go.Watch What Happens Live: Kiarna joins Phoebe Robinson and Andy, addressing the Osefo scandal, saying she's shocked but sends “thoughts and prayers.” She insists her beef with Wendy runs deeper than on-camera drama — claiming Wendy acts one way for the show and another off-camera.Support the showhttps://www.wewinewhenever.com/

Good afternoon, I'm _____ with today's episode of EZ News. Tai-Ex opening The Tai-Ex opened up 158 points this morning from yesterday's close, at 25,738 on turnover of $13.5 billion NT Shares in Taiwan moved sharply lower Friday, led by large cap stocks, as investors rushed to pocket recent gains amid growing concerns that the local stock market is overvalued. Selling was seen almost across the board with non-tech stocks under heavy pressure throughout the session. Analysts say ongoing efforts by the Trump administration to put tariffs on imports to the United States also cast a shadow over future prospects. Allies Urge Taiwan Participation in UN Taiwan's diplomatic allies are once again urging the U.N. to allow the island's meaningful participation in the global body. At the close of the 80th United Nations General Assembly debate yesterday, St. Lucia's foregin minister Alva Baptiste emphasized that relevant UN resolutions do not prohibit or exclude (把…排斥在外) Taiwan's participation in the UN system. While St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Terrance Drew said earlier during the meeting that allowing Taiwan to contribute to public health, technology, and disaster relief is not about taking sides, but about pragmatism He stressed that excluding Taiwan from organizations like the World Health Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization harms the world's ability to solve problems together. Allies, including St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Paraguay, the Marshall Islands, Palau, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Tuvalu, and Eswatini, all called on the U.N. to welcome Taiwan. (NS) Missile Attack Hits Ship in Gulf of Aden Officials say a missile attack by Yemen's Houthi rebels set a Dutch-flagged cargo ship ablaze in the Gulf of Aden, wounding two mariners. The owner of the ship says the crew abandoned the damaged vessel, which caught fire in the attack. The company says the damage done to the vessel is “substantial” (重大的). The ship's owner, says crew members were evacuated by helicopter. The French military says the Iranian-backed Houthis carried out the attack. The rebels have not claimed the assault, though it can take them hours or days to acknowledge their attacks. DRC Clashes Between ProGov Militia and M23 Rebels Fighting has erupted in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo between M23 rebels and a pro-government militia after days of a lull (暫時平靜[) in fighting. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa.. OpenAI New Parental Controls for ChatGPT OpenAI has announced new parental controls for ChatGPT to make it safer for teens. This comes after concerns about AI chatbot safety for young users, including tragic cases where teenagers took their lives after using ChatGPT. To get started, parents can send an email or text invite to their teen to link accounts. Teens can also invite parents. The new controls include automatic safeguards for teen accounts, such as reduced (減少) graphic content and restrictions on sensitive topics. Parents will have a dashboard to adjust settings and receive notifications if their child might be in distress That was the I.C.R.T.

Šogad festivālu kūrēt esam aicinājuši mākslinieku kolektīvu "Slāvs and Tatars", kura intereses sniedzas no Berlīnes mūra līdz Lielajam Ķīnas mūrim.

Send us a textThe American passport was once considered the gold standard of global mobility. Today, a growing number of US citizens are seeking second citizenship as insurance against political instability, rights erosion, and uncertainty. This episode delves into the legitimate, legal pathways to obtaining additional passports through Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programs. We explore how certain countries—particularly in the Caribbean—offer full citizenship in exchange for financial contributions starting around $100,000. These aren't shadowy deals but government-sanctioned programs that bring critical development funding to small nations while providing investors with powerful travel documents, rights, and options. Our expert guests David Lesperance and Basil Elzecki explain how St. Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, and Dominica lead this market with varying advantages: prestige, family value, and affordability respectively. The conversation isn't just theoretical—it's grounded in real concerns facing Americans today. Political polarization has transformed citizenship planning from a billionaire's luxury to practical preparation. As Lesperance frames it, "You live in a political wildfire zone," making second citizenship a form of "fire insurance" when facing uncertain futures. The evidence? Americans have become the #1 applicants for these programs worldwide, with applications surging 300% during recent political upheavals. For those without six-figure investment funds, we also examine citizenship by descent—the possibility that your Irish grandmother, Italian grandfather, or German Jewish ancestors might already entitle you to a powerful EU passport without any investment at all. This ancestral connection could be your most accessible pathway to global mobility.Whether you're concerned about political targeting, seeking enhanced travel freedom, or simply creating options for future generations, understanding these pathways isn't about abandoning America—it's about securing choices in an increasingly unpredictable world.Featuring:Basil Mohr-ElzekiDavid Lesperance-------------------------Follow Deep Dive:BlueskyYouTube Email: deepdivewithshawn@gmail.com Music: Majestic Earth - Joystock

In this episode, we delve into the recent developments in the Caribbean's Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programs, focusing on St. Kitts and Nevis' groundbreaking reforms. Prime Minister Terrance Drew has announced the introduction of mandatory residency requirements and enhanced biometric verification systems for CBI applicants. These measures aim to strengthen the integrity and transparency of the program, aligning with international standards and addressing concerns that have led to potential travel bans under U.S. immigration policies. The proposed reforms include a mandatory physical presence period for all CBI applicants, marking a significant shift from the previous model that did not require residency. Additionally, the implementation of advanced biometric verification, such as fingerprinting and facial recognition, is set to bolster security and due diligence processes.Industry veteran Sam Bayat joins us to provide his expert analysis on these proposed changes. He discusses the potential impact of the residency requirements on the attractiveness of CBI programs in the Caribbean, considering factors like investor preferences and regional competitiveness. Bayat also explores how these reforms might influence the future landscape of economic citizenship in the region.Tune in to gain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving CBI landscape in the Caribbean and the strategic responses of island nations to international pressures.

Send us a textWhen Brian Major accidentally "fell into" travel journalism after covering home furnishings, he couldn't have imagined it would lead to a remarkable career spanning over two decades of Caribbean expertise. His journey from cruise editor to public relations director and back to journalism offers a fascinating window into how travel media has evolved.During our conversation, Brian offers rare insights from his current role as Managing Editor of Digital Guides and Publications at Travel Pulse, where he's remained for 15 years covering 32 Caribbean nations. His methodical approach to finding stories—monitoring local Caribbean newspapers, nurturing relationships with tourism boards and embarking on monthly press trips—demonstrates the dedication required in specialized travel journalism. This comprehensive approach ensures travel advisors receive accurate, timely information that serves both their business needs and their clients' travel aspirations. The conversation takes unexpected turns as Brian shares personal favorites among Caribbean destinations. His special appreciation for Nevis stems from its quiet, unspoiled beauty, while Jamaica earns his praise for remarkable geographical diversity—"mountains, rivers, beautiful beaches, as well as great culture." His perspective on travel advisories offers balanced wisdom: take warnings seriously but contextualize them, understanding that millions visit Caribbean destinations safely each year by exercising the same caution they would anywhere unfamiliar. As someone with Caribbean heritage, Brian's connection to the region adds meaningful depth to his reporting, contributing to his awards from the Caribbean Tourism Organization and Jamaica Tourist Board.
