Solistka mariborskega baletnega ansambla Tijuana Križman Hudernik je prišla iz Pirana v Maribor zaradi ljubezni do baleta, stara 14 let in – ostala. V 20-ih letih je plesala v številnih znanih predstavah, v najnovejšem baletu Grk Zorba nastopa v naslovni vlogi Marine. Z njo smo se pogovarjali o ustvarjanju baletnih predstav, gostovanjih v tujini, delu asistentke koreografije pa tudi o življenju v Mariboru.

Zorko Bajc, že 24 let župnik v Piranu, in Ubald Trnkoczy, direktor fotografije – prijatelja MIDVA je nova večerna oddaja Radia Koper. Prinaša pogovore z dvojicami: prijatelji, sodelavci, poslovnimi partnerji, zakonski partnerji, starši in otroki. Tokrat sta naša gosta župnik in vernik. Naša gosta sta prijatelja, ki se morda kdaj ozreta v nebo, četudi nista meteorologa, a njuna vera je globoka, tudi to ju povezuje. Oba tudi velikokrat gledata v objektiv fotoaparata in kamere, s pronicljivim pogledom pa vsak na svoj način v človeške oči in dušo. Dobra prijatelja sta: Zorko Bajc, župnik v Piranu, a tudi fotograf in kulturni delavec, in Ubald Trnkoczy, direktor fotografije, snemalec in fotograf. Več skupnih ljubezni imata, tudi veliko ljubezen do Pirana - mesta, ki ju bogati in navdihuje, a ga s svojimi številnimi projekti že vrsto let bogatita tudi onadva. Oba sta prejemnika Tartinijeve nagrade – zlatega grba občine Piran. Zorko Bajc je nagrado prejel leta 2015, za leto 2020 pa še Steletovo priznanje za zgledno in kontinuirano obnovo sakralnih in kulturnih spomenikov v Piranu, Ubald Trnkoczy pa je Tartinijevo priznanje prejel leta 2021. Vera je zanju radost, zatočišče, upanje. Ustvarjalnost pa vodilo življenja. Z njima se je pogovarjala Nataša Benčič.

Piran nima prav veliko prostora za nove zelene površine. Vendar bodo te ključne za lajšanje življenja v vse bolj sušnih in pregretih poletjih. Znanstveniki, Pirančani, predstavniki občine, krajevne skupnosti, nevladnih organizacij in podjetniki so se po številnih pogovorih o mogočih ozelenitvah starega jedra odločili za obnovo zdaj degradiranega območja terasastih vrtov, stisnjenih med mesto in obokane zidove piranske cerkve. Zamisel je nastala v okviru delavnic živega laboratorija projekta SCORE, v katerega je poleg Pirana vključenih še devet evropskih mest. Vsa sledijo istemu cilju: povečati podnebno odpornost obmorskih mest s trajnostnimi ukrepi, ki najbolj ustrezajo določenemu lokalnemu okolju. Drugi poudarki oddaje: Za graditev 16-kilometrskega odseka hitre ceste med Gorišnico in Markovci naj bi gradbinca za izvedbo del izbrali še letos Na mestu spomeniško zaščitene vile v Bohinju, ki je pred devetimi leti klonila pod težo snega, bo zdaj zrasel nov prestižen objekt Občina Cerknica je podpisala pogodbo za graditev kanalizacije in prenovo dotrajanega vodovoda v vasi Dolenje Jezero Na Krasu se bojijo izgube Krasa; območje se spopada z izgubljanjem biotske pestrosti in elementi kulturne krajine

V mestnih jedrih Kopra, Izole in Pirana bo v letošnji sezoni manj gneče zaradi motornih vozil in več prostora za bolj brezskrbno in predvsem varno uživanje poletnih dni tako za domačine kot za turiste. Vsa tri mesta namreč umirjajo promet z omejevanjem motornega prometa. Po drugi strani pa je z redno potniško linijo od Ankarana do Pirana znova mogoče potovati tudi po morju. Prav iz Pirana je s hidrogliserjem italijanske družbe LibertyLines v času sezone že 14 let vzpostavljena redna morska povezava s Trstom, Rovinjem in Porečem. Med Izolo in Koprom je med drugo svetovno vojno potonila takrat največja in najhitrejša italijanska čezoceanska potniška ladja Rex. Bila je le pol metra krajša od slavnega Titanika, imela je kar dvanajst nadstropij in je lahko sprejela več kot 2000 potnikov. Splovili so jo tridesetih letih v ladjedelnici pri Genovi v obdobju fašističnega režima, ko je veljala za biser tehnološke in inženirske odličnosti. Leta 1944 so Rex obstreljevala zavezniška letala in ladja se je delno potopila približno 200 m od obale. Rexova zgodba je zapletena in večplastna, pod morsko gladino pa so ostali jeklo, mit in zgodovina potopljene epopeje so zapisali avtorji monografije o Rexu, ki je nastala pod okriljem Pomorskega muzeja "Sergej Mašera" iz Pirana.

Kje se srečata zgodovina pomorstva in umetnostna zgodovina? Zakaj ne smemo dovoliti, da bi nam bogata zbirka umetniških del in drugih predmetov Splošne plovbe spolzela iz rok, tako kot nam je naš edini ladjar? Koliko novodobnih stavb obmorskih mest Kopra, Izole in Pirana bi lahko uvrstili med vrhunska arhitekturna dela? Zakaj so Pirančani leta 1896 vzklikali 'Tartini in piassa, ali Tartini na trgu'? O vsem tem, pa tudi o veslanju po beneško, se bomo v današnji oddaji Odprto za srečanja pogovarjali z Duško Žitko, umetnostno zgodovinarko, muzejsko svetnico in kustosinjo piranskega pomorskega muzeja, ki je v svoji dolgoletni poklicni poti objavila več kot sto del, povezanih z umetnostjo in našo pomorsko dediščino. Njeno zadnje delo, Iztrgano pozabi, pa je monumentalen poklon Splošni plovbi. Kot pravi, ima srečo, da lahko dela to, kar jo najbolj veseli, v morje pa je dobesedno zaljubljena. Zakaj so ribe in morski sadeži tako zdravi? Katera vrsta ribolova je okoljsko najmanj škodljiva? Kako spodbuditi prebivalce naše države, da bodo raje kupovali svežo lokalno ulovljeno ribo in da jo bodo večkrat imeli na svojem jedilniku? O vsem tem je več kot 700 udeležencev od najmlajših do najstarejših na različnih dogodkih, ki so se zvrstili od Ankarana do Pirana, letos razmišljalo v okviru akcije Dobro za morje, dobro zame. V oddaji izveste tudi, zakaj je mediteranski slog življenja primerljiv s slogom modrih območij, kjer živi največ stoletnikov, ki ta jubilej dočakajo povsem zdravi. Lea Širok

Preplavati svet in obenem spodbujati varovanje okolja. Znanstveno raziskovalno odpravo, na kateri bo v letu dni preplaval 110 tisoč kilometrov po oceanih, načrtuje ultramaratonec in večkratni Guinessov plavalni rekorder Martin Strel. Za podvig je v zadnjih desetih letih večkrat poskusil zbrati dovolj denarja, tokrat verjame, da mu bo uspelo. Naravovarstveno odpravo je nedavno predstavil v Kopru, ko je v okviru akcije Čista obala preplaval 13 kilometrov od Pirana od Kopra, raziskovalci pa so med plovbo jemali vzorce in preverili, koliko mikroplastike je v našem morju. Prek prehranske verige jo po nekaterih ocenah na leto vsak zaužije že za eno bančno kartico. Podrobneje o vsem pa v oddaji.

Staro jedro Pirana ima številne zbiralnike deževnice, ki so meščanom pred prihodom vodovoda zagotavljali pitno vodo. Največji je na Prvomajskem trgu in je še vedno v uporabi kot dodaten vir za čiščenje ulic in gašenje požarov. Pa bi deževnico - razen za pitno vodo -lahko spet uporabljala tudi okoliška gospodinjstva, tako kot v preteklosti? Na to bodo, med drugim, odgovorili raziskovalci koprskega Znanstveno raziskovalnega središča v okviru evropskega projekta za podnebno odpornost SCORE. Piran je namreč eno od desetih evropskih obalnih mest, ki so vanj vključena. Več o tem nam bo v današnji oddaji povedal dr. Peter Kumer. Zgodbe nekaterih piranskih vodnjakov pa nam bo razkrila raziskovalka kulturne dediščine Daniela Paliaga.

Kapra, Brnistra, Štorta, Hrast in Polžek so imena modrozelenih poti Pirana, ki jih je oblikovala krajinska arhitektka Romana Kačič iz Zavoda Abbakum. Štiri poti po kopnem je povezala z morsko potjo Polžek, ki ponuja potop v izjemno pisan svet našega naravnega spomenika Rta Madona ali piranske Punte. Na tem podvodnem potepu lahko srečamo tako morskega konjička, kot ugorja. Izkušene in neizkušene potapljače vodi tudi inštruktor potapljanja Marjan Makuc iz piranskega Sub-diving centra. Po modrozelenih poteh Pirana smo se sprehodili v tokratni oddaji.

Tokrat gremo v oddaji Prostor pogledat, kje in kako se spreminja slovenski obalni pas od Ankarana do Pirana. V Žusterni so z uradno otvoritvijo kopalne sezone odprli nov obmorski park, arhitekti biroja APR iz Ljubljane razvijajo projekt nove mestne plaže Kopra, nekdanje skladišče soli Libertas, ki leži tik ob Koprski ladjedelnici, pa bo prenovljen v nov sodobni kulturni center. O slovenski obali, o njenem ravnovesju med naravo, morjem in urbanim razmišljajo osebno in profesionalno arhitekturna zgodovinarka Neža Čebron Lipovec ter arhitekta Matjaž Bolčina in Andraž Keršič.

Visoka ostaja tudi inflacija, ki bo v povprečju 9-odstotna, spodbuja jo predvsem rast cen energentov. Premier Robert Golob naj bi po današnji seji vlade sicer predstavil prvi sklop ukrepov za ublažitev posledic energetske draginje. Drugi poudarki oddaje: - Evropsko sodišče za človekove pravice preprečilo britanski izgon prosilcev za azil. - Direkcija za vode bo kljub kritikam nadaljevala projekt protipoplavne zaščite Pirana. - Ljubljana bo s festivalom Spider do nedelje v znamenju fantastične matematike.

Čez tri leta bi Pirančani, ki imajo svoje jeklene konjičke parkirane ob morju in pritlična stanovanja, kjer jim zaradi bližine morja aerosoli čistijo zrak, mirno spali tudi, ko bi vremenoslovci napovedali plimo in južni veter. Tako pa, vsaj zaenkrat kaže, da ne bodo. Piranski svetniki so se namreč odločili, da se odpovejo protipoplavni zaščiti in obenem tudi 14 milijonom evrov iz načrta za okrevanje in odpornost. A vse morda še ni izgubljeno. Župan Đenio Zadkovič se projektu ne namerava kar tako odpovedati. Prvi korak bo zdaj vendarle javna predstavitev idejnega projekta, ki so ga zasnovali trije piranski strokovnjaki. Pogovarjati so se pripravljeni tudi v krajevni skupnosti. V novi civilni iniciativi TOMOP ob vsem upajo, da bodo prebivalci razumeli, da je idejni projekt zgolj osnova za nadaljnje korake pri izgradnji celovite zaščite mestnega jedra pred visokimi vodami, ki jih s segrevanjem morja prinaša podnebna kriza.

V tokratni oddaji Sedmi dan vam posredujemo nadaljevanje pogovora z znanim slovenskim minoritom patrom Janezom Šamperlom iz samostana Svete Trojice v Podlehniku v Halozah. 41 duhovniških let je preživel po različnih samostanih, največkrat kot njihov gvardijan-predstojnik – od Ptuja, Ptujske gore, Ljubljane, Pirana do italijanskega Assisija Izdal je okoli 50 različnih publikacij, med njimi tudi dve knjigi o blagopokojnem misionarju patru Mihi Drevenšku.

Piran bo prihodnja štiri leta živi laboratorij iskanja trajnostnih rešitev za omilitev posledic podnebne krize. Sodelujoči prebivalci bodo skupaj s sodelavci Znanstveno raziskovalnega središča Koper v okviru evropskega projekta SCORE preverjali, kako zmanjšati uporabo pitne vode v kopalnici. Piran bo dobil tudi tako imenovanega digitalnega dvojčka, ki bo omogočal zgodnje opozarjanje na ekstremne vremenske pojave v obalnih mestih. Projekt skupnostne znanosti SCORE, v katerem poleg Pirana sodeluje še devet evropskih obmorskih mest, predstavljamo v tokratni oddaji.

Oddajo Primorski kraji in ljudje tokrat zaznamuje glasba. Današnja glasbena zgodba prihaja iz Pirana in je stara 170 let. Smilja Baranja je obiskala Pihalni orkester Piran, ki deluje od leta 1851. Na Slovenskem je v Zvezi slovenskih godb 103 orkestrov. Godbeništvo je oblika družbenega delovanja v okviru godb na pihala, godbeniki igrajo na pihala, trobila in tolkala. Pihalni orkester Piran vodi od leta 2009 dirigent Iztok Babnik, sicer tudi ravnatelj Glasbene šole Koper.

Ste se kdaj z obale v Fiesi odpravili proti dolini v njenem zaledju? Ste v malem jezeru ujeli skupino želv, ki se v malem jezeru sončijo na deblu? Ali laboda, ki si ob velikem jezeru pripravljata gnezdo? V oddaji Morje in mi nam je skrivne kotičke Fiese razkrila samoorganizirana Kreativna skupina občanov, ki se zavzema za trajnostne rešitve urejanja tega zelenega prostora v stiku z morjem. Nenadzorovane gradnje, povečevanje gostinskih teras, prisvajanja dostopov do morja so v Fiesi že naredili veliko škode, pravijo. Zdaj je čas, da tudi odločevalci na ta prostor začnejo gledati kot na vrednoto, in ne zgolj kot na blago za turistično rabo in zlorabo ter za neposrečene pozidave po okusu posameznikov.

V tokratni oddaji preverjamo, kakšne so zamisli za protipoplavno zaščito Pirana. Staro mestno jedro se namreč vse pogosteje sooča z visokim plimovanjem morja, ki ga prinašajo podnebne spremembe. Na nasprotni obali Jadranskega morja so Benetke, kjer se že leta spopadajo s poplavami zaradi visokih plim. Mesto zdaj ščiti sistem potopnih zapornic, znan po kratici Mose. Slišali boste, kako zaščita deluje, kaj o njem menijo okoljevarstveniki in kako učinkovit je. Oddaja je del projekta Zelena kohezija, ki ga sofinancira Evropska Unija.

Na koncu še nekaj poudarkov z mednarodnega simpozija Stopajoč po poteh, ki vodijo novi prihodnosti nasproti, ki te dni poteka v organizaciji Moderne galerije in WCSCD.

Naš gost v nočnem programu bo Ubald Trnkoczy, ki  je drugo ime za odlično fotografijo. Dolgoletni direktor fotografije na Rtv Slovenija, že nekaj let zelo dejaven upokojenec, ki je svoje poti med Ljubljano in Piranom  skozi leta vse bolj nagibal v smeri Pirana. Dokler ni tu tudi zares ostal. S fotoaparatom in kamero se je podal med ljudi, se z njimi zbližal, jih spoznaval skozi oko objektiva in s srcem. In to ni ostalo neopaženo. Njegovi filmi, razstave, multivizije  in številni drugi projekti so bili za  slovenski kulturni praznik nagrajeni s Tartinijevim priznanjem Občine Piran. Primorci prišlekom težko priznajo status domačina, a njega je narečni istrski izraz za tujce - »forešt«, zaobšel.  Kajti zares se je podal med ljudi, se z njimi zbližal. Verjetno pa je bilo Ubaldu poleg nagrade všeč tudi to, da so zapisali, da je nagrajenec v Ljubljani rojeni Pirančan. Letos mineva 75 let od osvoboditve preživelih v nacističnem koncentracijskem taborišču Auschwitz. Na svetu ni kraja, ki bi bil bolj zaznamovan s smrtjo. V času delovanja Auschwitza od leta 1940 do leta 1945 so nacisti tam pobili milijon sto tisoč ljudi. Milijon je bilo Judov. Sedemindvajseti januar, dan, ko je sovjetska rdeča armada osvobodila to največje taborišče za sistematično množično iztrebljanje, je bil prav zato izbran za Svetovni dan spomina na žrtve holokavsta. V vseh nacističnih taboriščih je umrlo 6 milijonov Judov in 11 milijonov pripadnikov drugih skupin: od Slovanov, do Romov, istospolno usmerjenih, invalidov, verskih in političnih zapornikov. Med žrtvami holokavsta so bili tudi Judje iz Istre in Primorci. Po njihovih sledeh se odpravljamo v oddaji Primorski kraji in ljudje. Lea Širok bo nekaj njihovih zgodb osvetlila s sogovornikoma, profesorjem Borisom Hajdinjakom, ki je na nedavnem predavanju Pomorskega muzeja predstavil svoje raziskave o holokavstu v Istri, in Tončko Senčar, nekdanjo taboriščnico iz Pirana.

Slovenska obala je po letošnji množični čistilni akciji bistveno bolj čista. Od Ankarana do Pirana je več kot 200 prostovoljcev s priobalnega pasu pobralo okrog 600 kilogramov odpadkov, potapljači pa so jih z dna morskega rezervata v Strunjanu potegnili še dobrih 230 kilogramov. Prvo mesto med odpadki so znova zasedli cigaretni ogorki. Zgolj v dveh urah so jih udeleženci pobrali kar 20.000. Deseta akcija Čista obala je osrednji dogodek letošnjega Tedna sredozemske obale. Ta poteka v vseh štirih obalnih občinah in je segel tudi v obe sosednji državi. V oddaji med drugim poročamo, kako so jubilejno čistilno akcijo nadgradili. Preverili smo, kaj so prednosti in slabosti uporabe morske vode za hlajenje in ogrevanje, ki so jih predstavili v okviru Tedna sredozemske obale. In bili smo v Ankaranu. Ime tedna je postala Petra Vladimirov, psihologinja in vzgojiteljica v Vzgojnem zavodu Kranj, ki se je z mladimi varovanci, ki zaradi vzgojne nemoči staršev in različnih zlorab ne morejo živeti doma, prejšnji teden že petič na pot iz Kranja do Pirana odpravila peš. Pot, dolga 171 kilometrov, je za mlade pomembna šola za življenje in tudi terapija, kljub vročini, poškodbam in krvavim žuljem pa jo premagajo skupaj.

Na krov smo tokrat povabili Nejca Gorjana z Vogrskega. V maju je namreč s supom preveslal Jadransko morje od Dubrovnika do Pirana. Morje je spoznal v vseh vremenskih razmerah. V mesecu dni je v bitki s tokovi, vetrom in valovi doživel vse štiri letne čase, pravi. A je ta ekstremni podvig, ki ni prvi, zdaj za njim. Pomembno je, da je vzdolž jadranske obale srečal številne dobre ljudi. Pa tudi, da bo z denarjem, ki ga je v okviru podviga zbral s pomočjo Društva Mladi Renče Vogrsko in z Rdečim križem, v prihodnjih dneh na morje odšla skupina otrok z Goriške. Ljubljana Festival.Danes se začenja tudi Mednarodni Festival Bled.V Sloveniji bodo gostovalimladi glasbeniki ZBORA IN ORKESTRA KRALJEVE GIMNAZIJE IZ COLCHESTRA v Veliki Britaniji.Piranska Glasbena šola ima velike težave zaradi pomanjkanja dvorane in nedostopnosti prostorov v središču Pirana.

Tokrat vas vabimo na sicer kratek, a zgodovinsko in kulturno bogat sprehod. Obiskali bomo Bolniško ulico v Piranu, kjer si sedanjost in preteklost, tako kot na vseh ulicah in trgih starih mest, podajata roko. Slišali boste, da se prav v tej piranski ulici prepletajo številni zvoki in zgodbe. Šestnajst so jih Pirančani in obiskovalci na novo doživeli na dogodku Čarobne točke Pirana, ki je bil sicer decembra, a se je Lea Širok z avtorico dogodka, krajinsko arhitektko Romano Kačič in drugimi soustvarjalci, po nekaterih točkah znova sprehodila prav za našo oddajo.

Batana, top, bragoc, leut, škuner … je nekaj tipov tradicionalnih plovil Jadrana. V preteklosti so plula tudi vzdolž slovenske obale. Gradili so jih lokalni mojstri ladjedelstva v škverih ali malih ladjedelnicah Pirana, Izole in Kopra. V zadnjih letih gradnja lesenih tradicionalnih bark znova oživlja. Za ohranjanje dediščine ladjedelstva pa je zelo pomembno tudi ladijsko modelarstvo. Še posebej, če so makete izdelane v merilu 1:10. Prav takšne, z vsemi podrobnostmi narejene modele, izdeluje mednarodno uveljavljeni maketar Luciano Keber z Reke. Enajst jih do 4. novembra razstavlja v Galeriji Hermana Pečariča v Piranu. Izjemnega mojstra, ki za svoje pomanjšane morske lepotice pravi, da so žive barke, smo povabili na krov naše oddaje.

V oddaji Primorski kraji in ljudje vas vabimo na morsko pot od Pirana do Benetk. V preteklosti je na njej potekal živahen priobalni promet. Najpomembnejši tovor je bila sol. To pot bodo preveslale članice skupine Voga Veneta Piran, kar lahko prevedemo kot veslanje na beneški način oziroma stoje. Na pot se odpravljajo z dvema tradicionalnima beneškima 'caorlinama', saj bodo skupaj z njimi veslale tudi veliko bolj izkušene članice beneškega veslaškega kluba. Na morju ni meja, pravijo, in se ozirajo tudi po tesnejšem sodelovanju z ljubitelji tradicionalnega veslanja ob hrvaški obali. Več pa v zvočnem zapisu, ki ga je pred odhodom veslačic pripravila Lea Širok.
