    Ivy Insights

The Speed and Power Podcast is an invaluable resource for athletes looking to enhance their speed and strength while also focusing on gaining size. Hosted by Ryan and Jason, this podcast delivers expert knowledge in a manner that is both informative and easily comprehensible. I cannot express enough just how much I appreciate the valuable insights shared in this podcast, making it an essential listen for all athletes with aspirations of achieving their goals.

One of the best aspects of The Speed and Power Podcast is its ability to deliver valuable knowledge in a way that is easy to understand. Ryan and Jason have a clear understanding of their subject matter and present it in a concise and accessible manner, ensuring that listeners grasp key concepts without feeling overwhelmed. Their ability to break down complex topics into digestible pieces makes it easier for athletes to implement the advice they receive into their training routines effectively.

As with any podcast, there are bound to be some drawbacks. In the case of The Speed and Power Podcast, one potential drawback is the occasional lack of diversity in guests. While Ryan and Jason certainly have extensive knowledge themselves, it would be beneficial to hear from other experts or professionals in the field who may offer different perspectives or specialized expertise. This could potentially provide listeners with a more well-rounded view on certain topics.

In conclusion, The Speed and Power Podcast deserves high praise for its ability to educate athletes on boosting speed while working towards becoming bigger, faster, stronger individuals. With hosts who clearly know their stuff, Ryan and Jason deliver valuable information in a manner that is both accessible and easy to understand. While there may be room for improvement by diversifying guest speakers, this podcast remains an invaluable resource for coaches, athletes, and anyone seeking guidance on achieving their goals. I eagerly anticipate future episodes as this podcast continues to provide helpful advice for those striving for athletic excellence.

Ep 116: Jason Feairheller- Why The T-Step Is An Effective Strategy For Changing Direction    I recently made a post asking if turning the foot out is an effective strategy for changing direction. To give you some more context the video is from this year's NFL Combine and features Christian Gonzalez, a cornerback from Oregon performing the W Drill. In this drill Christian backpedals straight back and on a cue he sprints forward at a slight angle. In the video I made a point to show the strategy Christian uses to make this transition from backward to forward, and in the video he performs a T step or turns his foot to the side to stop.I said this was a good strategy, but about half of the comments I got said it wasn't so I just want to go into a little more detail about why this is the most effective way to make this transition.    https://www.instagram.com/jasonfeairheller/  https://www.instagram.com/speedandpowerpodcast/  Checkout my Multidirectional Plyometric Course:  https://www.multidirectionalpower.com/copy-of-home

Angelo Gingerelli has been a strength and conditioning coach for two decades and has worked with youth, collegiate and professional athletes. Gingerelli's background in powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting combined with his academic pursuits provided him with a solid background to work with traditional power sport athletes but was lacking when it came to training athletes specializing in longer-duration activities for the first decade of his coaching career. In 2010, he began running road races and ran his first marathon in 2011, where he promptly caught the “marathon bug” and has since run several similar races. During this period, he became interested in applying resistance training principles to endurance sports in an effort to better serve the swimmers and cross-country athletes he was training and in order to improve his own marathon performance. https://www.instagram.com/mr5thround/    Buy Angelo's Book Checkout my Multidirectional Plyometric Course:  www.multidirectionalpower.com
