The This Girl Podcast is a breath of fresh air in the world of podcasts. Daisy, the host, brings a unique and refreshing perspective that is both inspiring and relatable. Her special ability to connect with her guests and take listeners on a spectacular journey of learning, inspiration, and growth is truly remarkable. Plus, her #boyofmoms segment is absolutely amazing. I am so grateful to Daisy for not only opening up her heart and sharing her own experiences but also for introducing us to incredible people who inspire, challenge, and motivate us.
One of the best aspects of The This Girl Podcast is how Daisy introduces her tribe and inspires a different perspective through vulnerability and transparency. She creates a sacred space where listeners can feel safe to be themselves and explore new ideas. Daisy's positivity shines through in every episode as she brings value to others through laughter, kindness, and love. Whether it's decorating or vaping, she keeps all topics relevant and relaxed, making it easy for listeners to connect with her.
As with any podcast, there may be some areas that could be improved upon. One potential drawback is that the episodes can sometimes feel disjointed or lacking in structure. It would be helpful if there was more consistency in the format or theme of each episode to provide a clearer direction for listeners. Additionally, while Daisy's vulnerability is one of the strengths of the podcast, there are times when it may feel like she veers off-topic or shares too much personal information. Finding a balance between openness and staying focused on the main topic could enhance the overall listening experience.
In conclusion, The This Girl Podcast is an absolute must-listen for anyone seeking daily doses of inspiration, positivity, and motivation in their lives. Daisy's infectious energy combined with her genuine desire to bring value to others creates an uplifting experience that leaves listeners feeling inspired and ready to tackle life's challenges. By choosing this podcast during quarantine time or any other time in life, you are choosing gratitude, hope, and purpose. So add The This Girl Podcast to your podcast list and get ready for a truly transformative experience.

The fitness dance class is led by 4 “Angels” each with their particular vibe and style: Captain, @dr_drea_a, @Crissy_vs, @Mariawuerl, @Addibelvedere . Marking a historical day, This Girl podcast host, Daisy pays tribute to Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II by sharing a BONUS episode highlighting the power of obituaries (obits). Contrary to what most might believe that obits are about death, obituaries happen to be all about a life well lived. In fact, the obit is a story depicting the person's life providing the individual an opportunity to live once more. Since you all know that Daisy does not believe in coincidences, a few years ago on several occasions she was exposed to the topic of obituaries by being recommended to see the HBO documentary "If you're not in the obit, eat breakfast" hosted by Carl Reiner - a must see. Then in the same week, she stumbled across the movie with Shirley MacLaine, "The Last Word", which illustrated the significance of this section in a newspaper. This peeked her interest even more and she went down the rabbit hole on the impact of obits. Daisy spent a few weeks exploring this topic. In particular, she researched how people make it into the New York Times obit pages. As life should have it, there is actually a documentary dedicated to the New York Times obit section department since it happens to be a dying art, "The Obit: The Last Deadline". Daisy's inspiration is an invitation to her listeners to take the time to write their obit, since you still have time to change or add to your story! What would it say?

Easy Publicity Opportunities During their insightful conversation, this Jersey Girl wasted no time to offer some insight (free advice) for moms and woman entrepreneurs, she shares some very powerful nuggets of wisdom for any woman looking to turn her passion into a business: Know What You Want: Be steadfast in knowing your goals be it in business or in life. Too many people are out there to tell you NO, that what you want isn't possible. Stay the course and continue to ask. Tell Everyone: A good idea needs to be nurtured and shared, you never know where a conversation could lead. Many entrepreneurs are afraid that if they share their ideas then someone will steal them. Someone could try to "copy" you but no one in the world will create what you can. Ask the Right People: I firmly believe that plainly asking for "it" is the most important. Simply know what you want and go for it. Once you know what you want and you tell the right people your idea, now it's time for the ask. You are not asking for a favor. You are enrolling someone in the belief that this is a possibility and you are going to make it happen. She visited her neighbors and offered her professional photography services to capture them on their front door #allstoopedup while shooting the photos 6 feet apart. What sparked this passion project for Audrey was when she heard in the news that school children where going hungry across the USA since the schools were closed and parents were losing their jobs. So, in lieu of payment Audrey requested donations to the Community Food Bank of NJ, raising thousands of dollars to help those in need. For more than 15 years, Audrey has used her gift to capture real life moments with her camera and charisma to tell family stories. She is a storyteller with pictures. Her infectious personality, grace and professionalism while shooting sets her apart from the crowd. If you want to freeze time and capture your children at a certain stage in their life, she's your girl! Audrey explained to Daisy that she noticed that so many families were stuck at home experiencing beautiful moments and she wanted to help them capture them since they would someday treasure these family memories. As a photography iphone teacher, she realized that she had the skill set and creative calling to help families around the world to catch these moments on their smart phones or cameras; so she shifted her business once again and offered a new service, Virtual Session Shoots. Daisy was awe struck to see the quality of the photos created virtually. You must visit her website and see the blog, You will want to book a virtual, asap! Daisy truly admires Audrey’s work since it is all about storytelling. She has created a very distinct portfolio of themes that she specializes in such as Bedtime stories, Legacy sessions dedicated to grandparents interacting with their grandkids and honoring the traditions of the old with the new generation. One of Daisy’s favorite is Fresh 48 which captures the first 48 hours of a newborn. Audrey announced that she will be moving to Florida and is available for family shoots, although she travels throughout the US. On this episode, Daisy has intuitive conversation with Crystal worker, Artist, Jewelry and Home Designer, Joanne Stone to spread good vibrations to all Moms which are in great need of clearing the negativity in our lives and transforming it into positivity. Daisy asks Joanne to share her story how she went from being a high powered luxury costume jewelry designer for celebrities such as Beyonce, Madaona, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, traveling the world from London to Paris to Miami; to being featured in Vogue and sold in top stores like Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, and Fred Segal yet she was missing something. She recalls feeling as if she was in a hamster wheel, and her work had lost its soul. Joanne explains on how she deliberatly chose to take a pause in her life to recalibrate and traveled to Bali to surround herself with nature. On her journey, she discovered that she needed to create a business that had soul and connect her customers with Mother Nature’s healing powers. We might not be able to go to Bali, but Daisy and Joanne share with us the importance of having a morning ritual practice to bring more purpose and clarity into your daily life. Joanne explains that by setting aside 5 – 15 minutes to do some breath work, set a intention, and mediate or pray for a few minutes every morning, can be life changing. Right now given the current situation, Daisy wanted to provide a resource to all by giving you some tips on bringing a higher positive vibration into yourself and your home. This Girl Daisy created this podcast as a digital “family room” to provide moms with a much needed self care PAUSE in their day offering tips, tools, and resources to become a better mom, better wife, and simply a better YOU! This year one of the premier parenting resources reached out to Daisy to become a Miami Moms Blog contributor. She was honored to have been selected, but since she always loves a good story and also loves sharing a good resource, she invited founder and owner, Cierra Bragan, to make big announcement about their 2 year VIRTUAL birthday bash...where all you Moms are invited! In this episode, Daisy and Cierra have an uplifting conversation about the importance of moms coming together since we know motherhood is “hard but it does not have to be lonely”, says Cierra. Cierra shares with Daisy that out of her own personal need while expecting her second baby, she “birthed” the Miami Moms Blog as a business. Not being native to Miami, and becoming a new mom in an unfamilair city can be daunting. She realized there was a need to have a trusted source that moms could turn to for everything dealing with parenting (since babies don’t come with a manual). Therefore, Cierra brought “Miami Moms Blog” part of the City Moms Blog Network Sister Site to Miami. She explained that there are nearly 90 sites across the country dedicated to connecting local moms. The Miami Moms Blog provides resource guides from finding the right preschool to family friendly hotels & restaurants, to photographers to party planners and so much more For now two years, Cierra has been living up to her goal to encourage, equip and empower Moms in Miami with relevant content and a meaningful community, online and offline. So in showing her gratitude to this wonderful community of moms, Miami Mom Blogs is planning a Virtual Birthday Bash on Tuesday, July 21st – 8 – 10pm. Visit their site for tickets. It will be a fun night for Moms to virtually connect and have some fun. The team at Miami Moms Blog got creative and will have a DJ, giveaways, cocktail demonstrations and much more. Daisy and Cierra invite all Moms to give the kids to Dad for one night and get ready to dance in your living room. Stay Informed with the best mommy resource in town. After 3 months in Quarantine, the world is getting ready to head back and return slowly with a new way, new restrictions and new regulations. But are you ready to reset? What have you learned during quarantine? On this episode, This girl Daisy invites mindful quarantine buddy Gabriela “Gaby” Martinez-Fonts, mindfulness ambassador and founder of Mindful Wisdom Mom to reflect on lessons learned during this global pandemic. Together they discuss what realizations and adjustments they are both willing to take before hitting the reset button. Daisy and Gaby have an intuitive conversation about the positives and negatives that surfaced while being quarantined. They share reflection exercises, which they both have done with their families in order to come back from this Universal pause with more purpose and intention to becoming better. Putting her mindfulness expertise into practice with her own family, Gaby shares how she and her family held an intentional conversation and did a reflection exercise, where she posed three questions to her family (where all three 3 kids participated – ages 8, 10 and 12): What did you like about quarantine? What did you not like about quarantine? What do you want to keep in our family that we learned during quarantine? Daisy also approached this quarantine time as an opportunity to refocus and reflect, before hitting the reset button. She focused on a holistic approach, and did a personal inventory where she is with her body, mind and spirit. She created a RESET report card for herself, and family to review. This RESET report card serves to hold each other accountable in the areas where each needs to take action in becoming better. Daisy and Gaby would be disheartened to see the world return as if nothing happened; so tune in to their invitation on how best to reflect before you reset! The day we recorded, one of our favorite resources, the Greater Good Science Center Magazine, was in sync with our thoughts and actions and published an article asking you to list your lessons learned. Love is in the air this month and This Girl… Daisy, reminds you to love yourself and wants to fill your LOVE tank! With intention, Daisy asks you to take a pause in your day to reflect, preferably write down, what you truly LOVE to do? She challenges you (that besides loving your hubby and kids that for most of us this in on the top of the list of things we love to do) to be more introspective and search within a little deeper, and really remember at least 5 things that you LOVE to do? Then ask yourself, when was the last time you did any of the things on that list? For some, this exercise is not as easy as it sounds since with motherhood, moms have a high tendency to forget about themselves since they are primarily giving to others. Daisy shares with her listeners some of the top things that she loves to do, and in fact you can probably guess some them (such as dance) since she works hard on making time for her self and intentionally shares her posts on her instagram @pocketfulofdaisy especially on Friday favorites to spark that reminder. She also reviews Gary Chapman’s Love Languages, since she is keen that this can be a game changer in your relationships; not only with your partner but with your children too. If this is the first time you hear about Love Languages, there are five love languages: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time and physical touch. Everyone gives and receives in a special language, and if you know which one is your loved ones it truly strengthen your relationships and makes them more meaningful. She invites you to take the quiz available on Gary Chapman’s website, to find out your Love language: https://www.5lovelanguages.com To better serve her mom listeners, our host Daisy along with Gaby Martinez-Fonts from Mindful Wisdom Now, invite you to make a date with yourself & attend their upcoming workshop dedicated to self love. This is part of their Grit, Grace & Gratitude woman gatherings to be held on Thursday, Febraury 27th in the evening. At this workshop, they will guide you through an interactive gathering consisting of movement, wisdom and mindfulness. Since there is no instruction manual or road map when you become a mom; the “Grit, Grace & Gratitude” workshops will give you real life shared experiences, tips, tools, and strategies to become a better mom, better wife, and simply a better YOU! This girl, Daisy Blanchard, is fully illuminated and excited to kick off her third season with clarity and focus especially since she is joined with her soul sister, Gaby Martinez Fonts, mindfulness ambassador and founder of Mindful Wisdom Now. Together they created a tradition for the past 3 years to create vision boards, and on this episode, they reflect and share their personal growth journey on how the vision boards have been a positive creative tool in manifesting their dreams, one year at a time. Although some might think that vision boards are bogus, for these two inspirational women, it has proved that the power of visualization can really work. Daisy & Gaby both believe in the “law of attraction” and visualizing goals and dreams daily, can send a powerful frequency into the Universe. As they briefly reviewed their vision boards, Gaby explains some mindfulness practice techniques in achieving more clarity while creating your board. They both agree that the beauty of vision boards is that there are no rules, and you can create what is right for you using images, words of affirmation, pictures, and embellishments like glitter and stickers (our host Daisy is a sucker for sparkle and stickers). What is most important for them is that your vision board evokes a feeling. The more a vision board focuses on how you want to feel, the more it will come to life. Daisy & Gaby are holding their inaugural woman’s gathering to inspire and bring light to this new decade by hosting a 2020 Vision board workshop on Thursday, January 16. This Girl Daisy invites Professional Organizer, Jessica DeSiato from Thoughtfully Organized to share some insight and tips on how to declutter your home! Personally, I was intrigued with the Marie Kondo method, asking yourself does this time bring me joy? If the answer is NO, be gone with it. This Marie Kondo method is now universal technique where the Japanese organization expert teaches people around the world to rid their homes of clutter. Staying organized takes continuous effort or in my case I need a professional organizer since I suffer from the accumulation syndrome.
