In the concluding message of "The Domino Effect" series, Karl Ihfe explores Ephesians 6 where Paul instructs believers to "be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power" (Ephesians 6:10). Ihfe draws a parallel between the Mandalorian creed "This is the way" and the early Christians who were known as followers of "the Way" before the term Christian was coined. Ihfe explains that Paul's description of the armor of God—the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit—isn't merely preparation for battle but a way of life. This armor represents different aspects of Christian living that Paul has been teaching throughout Ephesians. The real enemy, Paul emphasizes, is not "flesh and blood" but spiritual forces working against God's kingdom. Prayer completes the armor, keeping believers connected to God's strength and aligned with His heart. https://bwaychurch.org
- Kino Experience: One Battle After Another (Peter) - Monster: Die Geschichte von Ed Gein (Tax) - Rewatch: The Mandalorian (Tax) - Fazit: Gen V Season 2 (Philipp) - Ersteindruck: ES: Welcome to Derry (Philipp, Sidekick: Christian) - [Horroctober 2025](https://letterboxd.com/ckatzorke/list/horroctober-2025/) (Christian, Sidekick: Philipp) Quickies: - Rewatch: Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazars Rache (Tax) - Alphamännchen (Tax) - Superman 2025 (Christian) - Peacemaker Season 2 (Christian) - Flow bei Disney+ (Peter) [Horroctober Liste 2025](https://letterboxd.com/ckatzorke/list/horroctober-2025/) [Unsere letterboxd Liste 2025](https://letterboxd.com/ckatzorke/list/geekzone-2025/) [Unsere serializd Liste 2025](https://www.serializd.com/list/Geekzone-2025-266409)

Ten years ago, Bryan Young did an exhaustive multi-part story about the NPR Star Wars Radio Dramas for Star Wars Insider Magazine, but so much of the interviews that were conducted had to be left on the cutting room floor. One of the best was with Tom Voegeli. From the Full of Sith Archives, Bryan presents this interview with the post-production supervisor for all three Star Wars radio dramas producer by National Public Radio.

The Purrgil Pod: Calibrate Your Enthusiasm (and Your Cough Medicine)Welcome back to The Purrgil Pod, where hosts Jessica and Hunter are battling colds and exhaustion to recap a very tension-filled episode! It was a festive evening indeed, where the ISB looked fantastic in their dress whites (don't get us started on Krennic and his little sash—oh, hot!). We debate why Mon Mothma's amazing, ribbon-covered outfits and great collar pieces aren't already available on Etsy! The tension is building as the Coruscant party and the Gorman heist go down simultaneously. While Cassian worries about protecting Gorman, Luthan is looking at the bigger picture, stating that if the effort "goes up in flames, it will burn very brightly". You definitely won't be laughing when we cover the heartbreaking tragedy involving Vel and Cinta, or when Bix decides she's had enough and delivers fiery closure to Gorst. Also, learn why you must "Calibrate your enthusiasm" when dealing with the ISB! And please, somebody tell us: Do we really need more Porgs in the next Mandalorian movie? This episode has everything—even Hunter forgetting the name of Coruscant. And not even one joke about this being our 69th episode. We are so grown up! Tune in!

The teaser trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu makes it pretty clear that the first Star Wars movie in seven years will be a popcorn flick for Baby Yoda fans of all ages. But how much will hardcore fans get out of the film? Will it meaningfully expand the universe or shed light on the state of the galaxy? And if not, is that even a bad thing? Politico's Bill Kuchman joins Eric and Haley to analyze the teaser trailer and discuss what we want and expect from the movie. We talk about the challenges of transmedia storytelling, Grogu's inconsistent maturity, Disney's marketing strategy, and tiresome nostalgia cameos.

Sphere Lores and Moriarties and Geordis, OH MYYYY….. We finally get to all the factories, and find this is where Picard Season 3 finally descends into nonsense. It's still entertaining nonsense with some well written conversations and performances, but yeah. Ferengi expert Kregg joins Kev and Barm to talk about fan jerk-offs, more (new?) questions about Changelings, baffling Moriarty cameos, Soong Mega-Collection, Picard's DEAD BODY, which Golden Girl is which Mandalorian, and mourn the death of Barm's beloved betta fish. Listen to this episode so that we can feel seen.
This week on the Toy Power Podcast; we are still sending 'Get Well' Cards to Trent, as he unfortunately misses this ep. But that won't slow us down; as Scot has a fantastic rundown on the Greatest Star Wars Movie - that never was! Yes - the infamous 'Shadows Of The Empire!' Famously worked into 'cannon' between the Original Films of: Empire Strikes Back & Return Of The Jedi. This wasn't just a Story or a Comicbook series - this was a Multimedia Project that also spanned into a Soundtrack, Video Games and of course a self-titled line of Toys! Was, or is this, the biggest Movie that never was?! Then keeping in the same similar theme of Movies; we transform into another round of The Team! With this round focusing on the Autobots that where released in 1986 (The Movie Year). This was a lot of fun! But we would love to hear some future ideas for The Team Comp - as we are starting to run out of ideas! Thanks, and as always - Enjoy!Support the show: http://patreon.com/toypowerpodcastSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The comic book vibes are strong with this one.Watching in chronological order (like we do), The Mandalorian's Season 2 finale leads straight into The Book of Boba Fett's premiere, “Stranger in a Strange Land.” It's not as pulpy or epic as Robert Rodriguez's previous Boba Fett-centric episode (“The Tragedy”), but some shots—like Boba Fett's fist punching through the sands of Tatooine—are straight out of a comic book panel. We talk through Boba Fett's interpretation of Daimyo and compare it to previous crime bosses, like Maul and Dryden Vos. We also discuss the state of crime in the galaxy and Ming Na Wen's slinky approach to Fennec Shand.New to Growing Up Skywalker? Mike and Kelsey talked about Movies that can only be watched on a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe's built-in DVD player’ . A very specific topic that sparked discussion online because of it being the rush of nostalgia we need right now. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about “The Mandalorian and Grogu” which will be the first “Star Wars” movie in theaters in over 7 years.
