Montreal looked completely overmatched in Game 4 as Carolina dominated 43-18 in shots and continued to suffocate the Canadiens with their structured, relentless style. At times, the Hurricanes exposed the inexperience of Montreal’s young core while showing the payoff of eight years of organizational consistency under Rod Brind’Amour. Despite four straight home losses and a noticeably quieter Bell Centre, the playoff run is still providing valuable experience for the Habs’ future. Meanwhile, Vegas stunned Colorado with a sweep, continuing an incredible run under John Tortorella while piling up goals and benefiting from the Avalanche battling injuries and inconsistent performances. Colorado still feels like a contender moving forward, though looming front-office uncertainty, limited cap space and foot-speed concerns may lead to bigger questions about the franchise’s direction in the near future. Mitch Marner’s playoff success after leaving Toronto for Vegas has also become a major storyline, with Leafs fans frustrated watching him thrive in a deeper lineup where he no longer has to carry the team every night.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Text us about this show. There's something to be said for a studio that consistently turns out clean, high quality recordings. Behind such an operation is usually a producer/engineer who understands not just the recording process, but musicians and what they are aiming to convey through their original music. SourceTrack Studio in Appleton, Wisconsin is that kind of studio and David Pietila is that owner/producer/engineer. David has received praise from those he has worked with at SourceTrack and from those who have heard his top notch work. On this episode we have a good sampling of tracks he has produced at SourceTrack along with the studio's history, capabilities, and a little bit about classic cars tossed in for good measure. There's a story a lot of henna artists carry about themselves: I'm a creative, not a systems person. I've tried to get organized before and it never sticks. Structure isn't how I work. In this episode, Chelsea dismantles that story — not by arguing against it, but by tracing it back to its actual source. The reason most systems fail isn't a personal failing. It's that the system was built for someone else's business, someone else's rhythm, someone else's life. And the experience of forcing yourself into a framework that doesn't fit does real damage — it teaches you that creativity and organization are fundamentally at war with each other. They're not. This episode makes the case for what a system that actually serves a creative service business looks like: personal, minimalist, and calibrated to how you actually work — not how a productivity influencer told you that you should.WHAT YOU'LL LEARN· Why the systems you've tried before failed — and why it wasn't because you're not a systems person· What a system actually is: a decision made in advance so you don't have to make it again in the moment· How decision fatigue drains creative energy — and how structure protects it· Three specific systems every henna artist needs: a scheduling structure, a client communication process, and a content rhythm· Why building for your actual rhythm — not your aspirational one — is what makes a system hold· How to know when your system needs to evolve — and why that's not failureRESOURCES & LINKSMentioned in this episode:· Join Momentum — Hennapreneur's membership for henna artists· Hennapreneur website· Download the Hennapreneur appConnect with Chelsea:· Instagram — @hennapreneur.official· Facebook — HennapreneurIf this episode shifted something for you — if you've been telling yourself the "I'm not a systems person" story and this conversation gave you a different frame for it — share it. There are a lot of artists out there running their businesses reactively and not realizing yet that it doesn't have to feel that way.And if you're ready to build systems that are actually designed for your life — Momentum is where that work happens.

Welcome to the newest installment, Exhibit B. A Hip Hop episode showcasing some of my favorite records in my collection as well as some new pickups and first time plays on the podcast. Niche finds like Dem Franchise Boyz and Chamillionaire really get me all kinds of fired up. Insider information, I saw a cheap copy of Suffocate by J Holiday on vinyl recently and best believe that will be here soon. Not a single individual is interested, but for the last two weeks I've been amassing a Pokemon card collection that could stop traffic. Yes I am a 33 year old man but it's not creepy at all because I opened first edition, base, jungle, fossil and team rocket packs myself in real time in the 90's at the KB Toys in Berkeley Mall so don't tell me what I can and can't do with Pokemon cards. It's in fact, genuinely wholesome that I took the time and effort to build my childhood collection back to something admirable. I will say this. If I still had my childhood collection in good condition I could purchase a home outright and own a business from Pokemon profit. It's not quite to that level yet, but this Gengar and Mewtwo are siiiiiiiiick. Thank you for being here and enduring my nonsense. Stay warm and I'll be here next time Your host with the most,Trill Murray

The title "REVERXE" (stylized reverse) symbolizes reflection and recalibration, reviving early mythology of superpowers and parallel universes while embracing maturity in second-generation K-pop.Title track "Crown" fuses Atlanta trap drums, heavy metal guitars, EDM synths, siren effects, and powerful high-note belts, with lyrics portraying a "crown" as something precious to protect. Pre-releases include emotional ballad "I'm Home" (December 14, 2025) and high-impact "Back It Up," debuted at the 2025 Melon Music Awards with 40 dancers. The nine-track album blends aggressive dance, sultry R&B ("Suffocate"), cinematic textures ("Moonlight Shadows"), and polished energy across "Crazy," "Back Pocket," and more. Early reception highlights strong vocal performances and cohesive lore-driven sound, with fans praising the group's adaptability despite challenges.Commercially, REVERXE dominated with #1 on iTunes Top Albums in 35+ regions (including US, Japan, Brazil), #1 on QQ Music and KuGou in China (Double Platinum certification), and first-day Hanteo sales of 265,934 copies. For the 3rd straight year, Houston advances to the Divisional Round but, standing in their way between them and their first ever AFC Conference game is the New England Patriots. Will the Texans defense bring the swarm mentality into Foxborough and continue the magical run one step closer to their dreams of a Super Bowl?
The Seattle Seahawks have earned their bye week as the NFC's top seed, and the dominance couldn't be sweeter. Mike McDonald's squad dismantled the 49ers in a performance that left no question about who was the top team in the NFC. T Jaxon Smith-Njigba capped off a historic season with 1,793 receiving yards—outpacing the entire New York Jets receiving corps—while the offensive evolution under Klint Kubiak has transformed Seattle from an explosive passing attack into a balanced team that others will fear in the playoffs. Charles Cross locked in a four-year, $104 million extension that looks like a very team friendly deal. The value only gets better when considering the contract takes him through age 30, giving Seattle bookend tackles with Abraham Lucas secured for the foreseeable future. Kubiak may have a future as a head coaching candidate. The Ravens job seems like a legitimate landing spot if he leaves, though there's zero interest in discussing coordinator departures while chasing a Lombardi. The wild card weekend brings a cursed Rams team to Carolina, where Dave Canales goes full circle back to when Seattle faced the Saints. We talk about the other playoff teams in the NFC and which could be considered "fraudulent." In Do Better, PFF takes a beating for rating Sam Darnold's solid performances against Carolina and San Francisco close to the same as Bryce Young and significantly lower than Brock Purdy. Arguments with AI also fall into the Do Better bin. Better at Life honors go to JSN and the Seahawks 2025 defense. Join our Sea Hawkers Podcast Pickem League - free prizes for weekly winners. Guests: Captain James Fanell (USN Ret.) and Bradley Thayer. Fanell and Thayer discuss the PLA's "Joint Sword 2024 Alpha" exercises, describing them as an "Anaconda strategy" designed to suffocate Taiwan following President Lai's inauguration. They argue that despite these overt threats, Washington remains trapped in a failed "engagement school" mindset, believing the PRC could be democratized through trade. Instead, they assert China has transformed U.S. institutions through elite capture, necessitating a shift to a confrontational strategy.

The Carolina Panthers 30-0 victory over the Atlanta Falcons was more than just the team's first win of the 2025 season; it was a comprehensive dismantling of a division rival, executed with a level of precision and dominance that reversed the narrative of their 0-2 start. The win was a product of strategic coaching, disciplined execution, and game-changing plays across all three phases of the game. An analysis of the key statistical disparities reveals the totality of the Panthers' control over the contest.

This week the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is holding its final public hearing on a plan to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 90% from fossil fuels used in Oregon. Since there is a rough proportionality between fossil fuel combustion and CO2 emissions, that means the DEQ rule is a mandate to reduce the actual use of carbon-based fuels by 90%. This would essentially shut down the Oregon economy. DEQ's program goes by the Orwellian name of “Climate Protection Program,” but it will have no effects on global climate. Any carbon dioxide reductions occurring in Oregon will be immediately offset by growing emissions elsewhere, which will be true for decades. The primary result of DEQ's rationing scheme will be rising energy prices, and the rapid exodus of people and businesses to other states. DEQ's Climate Protection Program was ordered by former Gov. Kate Brown after she failed to get the program enacted by the state Legislature. It should be repealed by legislators as soon as they convene again in February.
Father Len helps us grapple with tough times in our lives and understand the virtue of hope. What is it? Where does it come from? Why it's essential for peace and joy in our lives. Support Wrestling with God Productions: https://www.GiveSendGo.com/WWGProductions Highlights, Ideas, and Wisdom Paula D'Arcy Theologian of Hope “Gift of the Red Bird: The Story of a Divine Encounter” by Paula D'Arcy Faith, hope and love are different aspects of one spiritual reality. Hope is illogical. It's not a matter of sitting down and rationalizing with people why they should have hope. If you have some rational reason for hope, that's not hope. That's logic. Fear is logical. Depressed people are not irrational. They're just excessively logical and obsessed with their current state of life. “Notes from the Underground: The Original Unabridged and Complete Edition” by Fyodor Dostoyevsky Wealth, comfort and safety don't bring hope. Poverty and abuse don't take away hope. Hope is a theological virtue. It comes from God alone, not the circumstances of your life. Hope obliterates the idea that life should be easy. Hope is uncertain, it believes in possibilities. Hope takes work to participate in. It comes from this relationship with divine love and life. The Book of Revelation reveals the struggles we have on earth and tells us how the story ends with a huge victory party in heaven. “Optimism and pessimism are twins. Both are blind to possibilities and lock you in to your current state of life. Optimism believes you will always be happy and beautiful, with a full head of hair. Pessimism believes life will always be crap.” – Father Len Hope is not optimism. We live better in the United States than any human beings in history. We live in such incredible comfort. Yet, our young people have the highest rate of suicide and the highest use of prescription pharmaceutical drugs to deal with depression. If circumstances give hope, our children should be thriving. “We live in a culture of hopelessness because we keep telling people, you need the right circumstances to be happy. Unless you're a Kardashian, with tons of money and social media likes, unless the world treats you a certain way, you're a victim.” – Father Len Hopelessness suffocates hope. “Why Young Men: Rage, Race and the Crisis of Identity” – Jamil Jivani It's a myth to tell people if they have the right circumstances, they'll be happy, they'll be hopeful. A sense of meaning to your life is oxygen for hope. You have to suffocate the things that kill hope. Suffocate anger. Suffocate victim mentality. Suffocate the propaganda that circumstances give you happiness. Characteristics of people who have hope. They can endure higher levels of pain. They enjoy competition, win or lose. They believe life is good, no matter their circumstances. They can survive in humble circumstances. They turn out happier.
