Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four Tuesday takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts: Biden Coverup Clay and Buck discuss revelations about President Joe Biden's mental and physical health. The hosts highlight the shift in media narratives, including Jake Tapper's upcoming book and Elizabeth Warren's interview on the Talk Easy podcast, where she defends her previous statements about Biden's acuity. They critique the media's portrayal of Biden during his presidency, comparing it to historical propaganda. Clay and Buck also delve into the broader implications of Biden's presidency, discussing the role of Jill Biden and the political strategies surrounding Biden's re-election campaign. David Zweig Blockbuster (@davidzweig) Interview with investigative journalist David Zweig, who discusses his new book, "An Abundance of Caution: American Schools, the Virus, and a Story of Bad Decisions." Zweig shares insights into the failures of American public policy during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly focusing on the detrimental impact of prolonged school closures. He highlights the lack of scientific evidence supporting these closures and the political pressures that influenced decisions, including the role of teachers' unions. The hosts and Zweig delve into the revisionist history surrounding the pandemic response, emphasizing the importance of demanding evidence-based policies. Zweig recounts his experiences with silent dissent among medical professionals and the challenges he faced in reporting the truth. He hopes his book will serve as a corrective to the narrative and arm readers with the knowledge to recognize and challenge misinformation in future crises. Clay and Buck also discuss the broader implications of the pandemic on public trust in institutions, with Zweig expressing his disillusionment with the legacy media and the left establishment. He shares how his worldview has been fundamentally altered by the events of the pandemic and the dishonesty he encountered. Harvard vs. Trump The legal dispute between Harvard University and the Trump administration over the withholding of billions in taxpayer dollars. The hosts critique the extensive federal funding of universities and question the necessity of such subsidies, especially given the ideological biases and discriminatory practices at institutions like Harvard. The discussion includes the ethical concerns surrounding NPR's government funding and its role as a competitor in the media landscape. Clay and Buck argue for the elimination of taxpayer subsidies to NPR, highlighting the unfair advantage it provides in the marketplace. TX Rep. Chip Roy (@RepChipRoy) Interview with Rep. Chip Roy of Texas on SCOTUS blocking Trump deportations and the Democrats traveling to El Salvador and their defense of Abrego Garcia. He criticizes the Democrats for prioritizing non-citizens over American victims of crime committed by illegal immigrants. Roy emphasizes the need for significant authority for the president to remove individuals who were wrongfully allowed into the United States. He also discusses the broader implications of the Democrats' stance on immigration and their pursuit of political power. The impeachment of long-indicted Attorney General Ken Paxton is being seen as a sort of consolation prize for Texas progressives, having been denied ANY meaningful political gains in the Republican-stacked legislature again this year - but how did we get here, what's really at stake, and what's likely to happen next? Our guests this week have had a front row seat for the Paxton soap opera for years: State Representative John Bryant of Dallas has just returned to service in the House and was present for the impeachment proceedings that eventually succeeded in sending the Paxton case to the Senate. And, Texas rock star attorney Justin Nelson - lately fresh off successfully suing Fox News on behalf of Dominion Voting Systems - ran a terrific campaign against Paxton for AG in 2018. We're also proud to welcome guest host Kendall Scudder to the conversation - Kendall is currently Vice Chair for Finance of the Texas Democratic Party, and is also a podcasting veteran as co-host of the beloved Pod Bless Texas podcast. There's a lot going on with the Paxton case, with potential implications for just about every member of the Legislature, and for politics across the entire state - join us and dig in. Reach Rep. Bryant at https://house.texas.gov/members/member-page/?district=114, find Justin Nelson at https://www.susmangodfrey.com/attorneys/justin-a-nelson/, and follow Kendall Scudder's recent exploits on Twitter at https://twitter.com/kendallscudder. Texas legislators prepare to derail Biden's proposed offshore wind farm off the Texas coast. The feds need the state's permission to run lines from the federal waters to the state's shores. Texas legislator Mayes Middleton explains that these farms and the lines interfere with commercial shipping, recreational fishing, and Texas wildlife. Moreover, the European-designed wind turbines and blades cannot withstand a category 4 or 5 hurricane, meaning they are destined for destruction if placed in the Texas Gulf Coast - arguably the worst place in America. Or anywhere on earth. Why should taxpayers foot the bill for a project that will be destroyed by mother nature? Sure, the wind farm builders will get to make money over and over again at taxpayer expense each time the wind farm is destroyed and rebuilt, but this is not a serious plan for resolving looming power outages.

THE THESIS: It's a continuation of their slow push to force everybody but billionaire Party Members into city-states: a plan to have the federal beast control 30% of our land and water. And, they continue to gobble up farmland, which leads us to the behavioral kill chute of requiring fake meat and factory processed non-foods for survival. You must not withhold until morning the wages due a hired hand.” Joseph's Successful Management of the Food Crisis (Genesis 41:46-57; 47:13-26) Exodus 12:49 49 The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.” Exodus 22:21 21 “Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt. Crop Prices clip Environmentalist's latest land-grab scheme: The '30 x 30' initiative Biden's 30 X 30 land grab Bloomberg teaches farming April 4, 2021: The Biden administration will pay farmers more money not to farm The goal is to add 4 million acres of farmland to the Conservation Reserve Program, which takes land out of production to blunt agriculture's environmental impact. The Biden administration announced on Wednesday that it would expand a program that pays farmers to leave land fallow, part of a broader, government-wide effort to cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. The new initiative will incentivize farmers to take land out of production by raising rental rates and incentive payments. The Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) was created in 1985 to incentivize landowners to leave some of their marginal land unplanted, a plan meant to protect the environment by reducing agricultural runoff into streams and rivers, preserving wildlife habitats, and preventing erosion. Today, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) “rents” about 21 million acres of farmland from landowners, typically for 10 years at a time—a tiny fraction of the total land farmed nationwide. In recent years, the number of acres enrolled in CRP has fallen, possibly because USDA's rental payments have not been competitive with the open market, Chuck Abbott reported for FERN News. Thanks for sharing information that kept us clear on what was going on these last few years! I'm wondering if you might also offer similar clarity on the discussion around "vaccine shedding", whereby the non-jabbed who live with and/or work closely with the injected are getting some transfer. And if true, what that might mean for the unjabbed. And how long post-jab could the shedding continue? If you've got the interest/ability, here's a specific scenario I'd appreciate your input on: I know 2 babies (under 1 yr) who have mastocytosis (looks like birthmarks on the skin, those marks multiply, and those spots can be on organs inside the body). From what I understand (and according to the pediatric dermatologist treating one of these babies), this is supposed to be very rare...yet, I personally know 2 babies who have it. One mom was jabbed during pregnancy and the other was jabbed while still breastfeeding. My gut says this mastocytosis is a reaction to the mama's ill-informed decisions to get jabbed. I'd appreciate your trustworthy research skills to better understand...and yet, I suspect any potential damage has already been done. "Allegedly." ("Well, how the hell are they!?" - Omar as he yells at a 10 year old girl). -- All Regerts, a podcast about regrets, is a comedy podcast that delivers on a genuine, flagrant, and hilarious experience. In an era of fake likes and cloud-chasing, Omar Gonzalez, CPA, and Sam Noorani talk frankly about dumb actions we've done and said that make people feel rather (or super) lousy than make fun of them. We also take outside regrets found all over the news, forums and make fun of them. Sometimes we have guests, or it's just us two of us while sharing what we've learned from our regrets. Or like make fun of them. Whatevs. Live your life, man. Sam Noorani is a comic and writer based out of Austin, TX. Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett has been one of the most visible and articulate legislators fighting the GOP attack on Texas voters. She has a message for Democrats that may be softening. It is with trepidation that I read the article Houston Chronicle article “Slow-rolling hunt for absent Texas Democrats begins with a door knock.” It read as if the Democratic heroes like Rep. Jasmine Crockett, fighting for Texans' right to vote, were criminals. Cedric Dark is an ER doctor at the Medical Center in Houston Texas, writer, and influencer. District 135 Texas State Representative Jon Rosenthal discusses the delegation's escape to DC to save voter rights in Texas and beyond. He visited with us to detail why Texas Democrats are in DC and at what cost. Speaker Nancy Pelosi was forcefully defended from GOP misinformation on Select Committee by these reporters. WOW! These two reporters pushed back at both GOP narrative and misinformation as they defended Speaker Nancy Pelosi. REALLY! Tiffany Cross calls out Megyn Kelly's attack on Naomi Osaka and a pattern of attacking Black Women. When Megyn Kelly left Fox News, some may have believed she would try to attain some level of seriousness. After all, she could have been aided by the sympathy some felt after Trump attacked her for asking uncomfortable questions during a debate. Her rebirth was not to be. Jake Tapper did not disappoint in his interview with Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA). He called out Jim Jordan & Jim Banks as liars. It's the biggest story in politics right now: In order to deny Texas Republicans the quorum needed to pass egregious voter suppression laws, Democrats in the Texas state house literally left the state, and can't come back for at least three weeks. First, we reconnect with early podcast guest TX Rep. Sen. Tom Kaine illustrates how Democrats must be talking. TX Rep. Senfronia Thompson explains exit to DC. Psaki did not pull her punches on Doocy this time. Once again, Peter Doocy asked a silly question. This one, though, had danger and irresponsibility associated with it. Jen Psaki, in her way, slammed him. Peter Doocy continued an interchange with Jen Psaki with an inappropriate Fox News-like question. Then again, he represents Fox News. The Right-Wing is still taken aback about Jen Psaki calling out online vaccine misinformers and liars. It may have hit too close to home. Note he is reading the question. And she fled Texas with her cohort to protect every Texan's vote. She explains! Thompson enumerated the draconian nature of the bill. It included creating inconveniences like eliminating 24-hour drive-through voting, arcane signature verification, and vote-by-mail re-registration. Senator Tim Kaine used some factually false statements from McConnell to drive the Democratic message every American will want and understand. But there is much more! MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin played a statement from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell where he made various hypocritical, lying, and misleading claims. One would hope more journalists would correct in real-time. Sen. Tim Kaine points out that an inconvenient truth about Republican vs Democratic legislation. In this interview, our host Jack DiPrimio is joined by two special guests to discuss the historic walk-out of Democrats in the Texas State House of Representatives over the harmful Texas Voting Rights Bill proposed by Texas Republicans, even in the face of the Texas Republicans motion to formally arrest absent members. Zach Ganz, an intern for TX Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D) and supporter of the walk-out, provides an overview of the bills which forced the House Democrats to take such measures and explains how these bills harm underrepresented and minority populations in the state. Sam Weinberg, Founder of Path to Progress and its predecessor Settle for Biden, joins Jack to discuss what this move by Democrats means in terms of how politicians can and should approach damaging, dangerous, and oppressive bills. Additionally, Sam talks about the broader scope of American politics, progressivism vs. neoliberalism, and where he sees the Biden Administration trending towards. -- Credits Host: Jack DiPrimio; Guests: Zach Ganz & Sam Weinberg; Edited By: Gabriela Sanacore, Sara Villa, Zander Lopez; Written By: Jack DiPrimio, Daniel Wilk, Rachel McFatter, Elise Faith, Malinda Murphy, Owen Karlsen, Matt DeBlois; Music: Chill - sakura Hz; Production Manager: Ava Havidic; Produced by Gen-Z for Change -- --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/nextgenpod/support
Texas Democrats escaped Texas to stymie Republican voter suppression. Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett explains what they did. Carl Sagan's prophetic statement astounds. Carl Sagan was prophetic. He predicted the purposeful decline of America in his book “The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark.” Is there time to change? Carl Sagan seemed prophetic in his prediction of where the U.S. was heading. Unfortunately, he hit the nail on the head. Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett on fleeing Texas to save our Democracy. Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett, along with her Democratic Caucus, left Texas to block Republican's voter suppression bill S.B 1 & H.B. 3. Calls for a Bolder Congress Follow Texas Dems' Exodus to Thwart GOP Anti-Voter Bills. “Democrats in the U.S. Senate could learn a lot from these Texas Democrats—sometimes you have to pull out all the stops to protect democracy.” As Texas state Democratic lawmakers on Monday undertook a daring effort to deny their Republican colleagues the quorum needed to ram through a sweeping voter suppression package, progressive advocates and observers implored congressional Democrats to act boldly to protect U.S. democracy from the GOP onslaught. --- If you like what we do please do the following!
