His current seminar that he delivers to both Medical Anti-Aging Conferences, cancer conferences and medical schools world-wide, makes both professionals and the public aware of the omnipresent threats present in our immediate environment and gives insightful plans of remediation. "The goal of anti-aging and integrative physicians is to optimize the physiological function of the body. In an effort to help people move from the chronological clock to the physiological clock, we must find a way to diminish the harmful environmental factors and extend the current diminishing life span.” This researching author acts as a consultant and educator for several multinational nutritional companies, is the Senior Associate Dean at the Health Optimization Coaching Academy and has advised several governments on electromagnetic radiation effects, and has been involved as a lecturer with the Truth About Cancer (TTAC) series that has been seen by more than thirty million people. Dr. Fisher speaks internationally on anti-aging, nutrition, wellness, cancer, and immunology and maintains a global consulting practice for those with significant health issues. He has written many articles for trade publications and is a featured guest on many radio and television broadcasts. In addition to authoring twenty health oriented books, his research has also been published in peer-reviewed journals. His books and lectures have been translated into twelve languages and are sold in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Being widely recognized for his ability to easily assimilate what many view as daunting scientific and clinical information, Dr. Fisher transforms essential knowledge that would otherwise remain inaccessible to the public into readily available life-altering information. The foundation of his philosophy rests upon understanding and exposing the true nutritional and environmental deficiencies that exist in our everyday lives, and scouring the planet for the most efficient solutions to not only solving these threatening health issues, but improving the well-being and overall quality of life for everyone. His common sense approach to explaining the impact of our environmental factors to the health of the world makes it easy for his audience to make informed choices towards bettering their lives. He has spent decades advising people and designing natural protocols that have allowed them to restore their health and return to productive lives. Moringa oleifera is considered to be the most phyto-nutrient dense plant on the planet, and the world's best kept nutritional secret. Moringa oleifera has the ability to positively transform the current status of health of the world by supplying every aspect of nutrition. MTH further triggers the production of healthful Nitric-Oxide in the body, and provides the body with all the physiologically dynamic nutrition needed. The body's own natural ability to produce Nitric-Oxide is reduced as we age. Increasing Nitric-Oxide production supports healthy circulation to the body's vital organs, including the heart and brain. The MTH formulation creates a phyto-nutrient profile that promotes optimal physiological function and combats aging with the benefits of no added sugar. (Check out her podcast, Create the Ripple Podcast) She has learned the power of saying no and speaks openly about subtle abuse as it occurs in relationships - personally and professionally. Knowing that peace, freedom and integrity start inside, Candice is an advocate for knowing your own truth and speaking it clearly and powerfully - at home, at work and to yourself. After a narcissistic partner cheated on her with multiple women, left her (and the country!) with over 350 thousand dollars worth of bad debt, Candice was forced to rebuild her life, her credit and, most importantly, her trust in herself. The journey was not without its impact and Candice shares powerfully about dealing with anxiety, shame and learning to let go. Now, as a self proclaimed Essentialist, she's leading a big life while living in a tiny home (324 sq ft), with her Love, 2 kids, 2 dogs and 1 cat. When grief rocked her world in 2020, Candice knew it was time to finally do the deeper healing work she had been putting off and change her negative patterns for good. Emerging from this place, Candice now embraces her wild, fierce and receptive feminine nature. The journey to be and embrace all the parts of herself has led her to the place to start her wildly successful Create the Ripple Podcast; Trust the Niggle and Tell the Truth - where she features guests who are living in their truth and integrity. So... this is the podcast I think I meant to start back in 2020, but it took me over 2 years to come to a place where I was ready to share all of this with you. The beautiful and wise Brene' Brown has a quote that one day the story of what you have gone through will become someone else's survival guide... This podcast is my story. We will be offering this more gossipy and fun version of the story behind the wisdom as a companion to the more Educational Thursday editions of Create the Ripple Podcast. Stay tuned here for stories that will make you cry, laugh, cringe and think - with a very girlfriends-over-coffee (or wine) feel. Sometimes it will just be me sharing candidly with you solo, sometimes I will have a guest or two. Thanks for your ongoing and continued support of the content I am creating. Thank you to my team who helps me get this content out to you. This would be impossible without you. Much love. Bigger, braver, bolder conversations with women who want to change the world. From the moment we met, the wise women within us knew that we were supposed to do this together. We each, independently, had come to the realization that every moment in our lives had been in preparation for this awakening. For the rise of the wise woman inside us, the deep knowing we are here for more, and a growing understanding that more means bigger, braver, bolder than we could ever have imagined. As a qualified empowerment coach, Ellie knows how important it is for women to have space to examine belief systems and the stories we tell ourselves, to understand themselves better, and in turn heal the wounds of the past so that they may break the cycles that have held them back. With vast experience running online group coaching programs, Ellie has the skills and experience necessary to support women through their spiritual awakening and healing. I get asked a lot about why I became an essentialist, and I have to say that I was rather unwilling at first. I am not usually one to go into details on the show about this story in particular, but it felt great to get a little nitty gritty on this short show to lay the groundwork for more to come. You probably know by now how passionate I am about living an intentional life and doing things your own way, and I think it's fair to say that my guest today is equally as passionate about it! Candice Smiley is a mom, speaker, writer, blogger, social marketer, host of Create the Ripple Podcast and essentialist who loves to engage in interesting conversations. And this chat we had was definitely one of those! We dive into some deep conversations about what it means to live life our own way including: Trusting the niggle (which Candice says is always an inconvenient truth!) The journey of healing from trauma, including holding ourselves during healing and emerging on the other side. Radical forgiveness, acceptance, grace, self-compassion and self-love Embracing the dark days. How we're (literally) putting ourselves in boxes. The concept of essentialism (have what you want, but have less, so you can have better) including living in a tiny home and who and what you surround yourself with. The anxiety of things (possessions). Doing things that don't make sense to other people, but knowing it's right for you, by tuning into what we want and what makes us happy. Setting boundaries with people when they express their “concern” because your choices make them uncomfortable. The lie we've been told about how we're supposed to be living our life Embracing the duality and contradictions of life (eg. The masculine and feminine, the yin and yang that we all have within us). Why we both think it's important to share our stories, especially the messy beautiful bits. Not being modelled healthy intimate relationships when we're growing up, including the different types of love, how to love and what “good” love looks like. Have you or someone you know experienced sexual assault? Among the many emotions that healing from a sexual assault can bring up, is grief. In this fourteenth episode together, I am so excited to be joined by Candice Smiley. Candice is a blogger, social marketer, podcaster, mother, and a survivor of sexual assault. Twenty years ago, Candice's life was forever changed when she survived a sexual assault from her boyfriend. Since then, Candice has been on a journey of healing and acceptance. Throughout this episode, Candice tells her story of being sexually assaulted and how she has learned to process the grief and trauma caused by that event. She talks about finding therapy through writing, what happened when she stopped running from her emotions, how she creates boundaries within her life, and the patterns she has broken to turn a corner in her life. I resonate so much with Candice's story and I am grateful for her vulnerability in sharing her story. Candice is a mom, podcaster, social marketer and essentialist who loves to engage in interesting conversations with other influencers and entrepreneurs. Her favourite conversations are the ones that take courage to engage in. (Check out her podcast, Create the Ripple Podcast) She has learned the power of saying no, listening to your own heart and speaks openly about subtle abuse as it occurs in relationships - personally and professionally. She's become a voice for listening to your own truth and speaking it clearly, powerfully - at home, at work and in your life. She spends her time living - in a tiny home (250 sq ft), traveling, speaking and sharing candidly with others how to live life after betrayal, to trust themselves, to speak up for themselves and set powerful boundaries. After a narcissistic partner cheated on her with multiple women, left her (and the country!) With over 350 thousand dollars worth of bad debt, Candice was forced to rebuild her life, her credit and her trust in herself. Coming out of this, she encountered her own “Me Too” moment dealing with sexual coercion and harassment in her professional life; saying no resulted in her being the target of gossip that tarnished her reputation. Deeply affected by the gaslighting and the experiences, she adopted a minimalist lifestyle, leaned on her personal network and practiced radical personal forgiveness, acceptance and responsibility. The journey was not without its impact and Candice shares powerfully about dealing with anxiety, depression, shame and learning to let go. When grief rocked her world a little less than 2 years ago, Candice knew it was time to stop her life, hit the pause button and finally do the deep work to heal her heart, self and mindset. Emerging from this place, Candice has begun to embrace her fierce and receptive feminine nature. The journey to be and embrace all the parts of herself has led her to the place to start her wildly successful Create the Ripple Podcast; Trust the Niggle and Tell the Truth - where she features other amazing guests who are not afraid to do the hard work of personal development, listen to their own minds/heart and then speak up and out for those things that matter; to themselves and to make a difference in the world. Candice loves her essentialist lifestyle for the beauty and freedom it offers her. She can never resist the urge to take off her boots to walk barefoot into a clear mountain lake or stream. When she is not connecting or writing, she can be found disappearing into the backcountry trails of Canada with her life-love Mark and losing herself exploring waterfalls and mountain trails. She is a quiet introvert who adores eating clean foods and reading a great book. Sometimes we ruin it. Other times, someone tries to ruin us. Either way, the things meant for evil shall be turned for the greater good. For your greater good. For the greater good of those whom you will touch and cross paths with. Remember this, you are loved by a Power greater than you can comprehend. She works with successful heart-centered women to navigate their journey of self-discovery; her approach incorporates her coachability, shadow work, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and other healing modalities. She believes that in order to find wholeness, there needs to be an acknowledgment of the parts of us that are not deemed acceptable by society; there needs to be a willingness to uncover the wounds and scars we gain during life; to understand the impact they have on our sense of being, and the opportunities that open up when you're ready to up-level your life. Ellie works with clients to help them stop looking for external validation and understand that they have all they need within themselves. Ellie had a successful career in sports administration for over 12 years which included roles such as head of marketing and comms and event director at Cricket World Cup. She's originally from the UK and moved to New Zealand in 2013 for her role with CWC15 where she met her now-husband. Much of the work she does today is inspired by her wish to create a better world for her two daughters. Erin Hodgson: For almost 38 years of my life, I had little awareness of the importance of spirituality, engaging with the natural world, and embracing the feminine and elemental energies inside me. At 38, my spiritual awakening was long overdue, yet very unexpected. Until that point, I believed that intellect, action, and power were the keys to success. I had spent years striving, failing, pushing for more, and finding myself increasingly unsatisfied by any of it. When I discovered the power of understanding that I am a spiritual being, having a human experience and that everything is energy, I began to realise just how little I actually knew of myself and who I am at my core. The more I delved into that awareness and started to explore what it looked like for me, the more I felt a growing sense of ease and calm, at a deep soul level. I began to connect with my intuition, with spirit, with the energies that allow me to co-create a different reality for myself.I learned about healing through working with ancestors, past lives, akashic records, body testing, and more. I learned how to expand and grow through embracing my connection to natural cycles, the four elements of fire, earth, air, and water, and the sacred feminine. While learning more about who I am, as a spiritual being, I have spent hours unpacking my belief systems, the learned behaviours and programs that come from generations of women being undervalued and held back, from a society that heavily favours the masculine, from oppressive systems designed by men to ensure a society that thrives upon power, inequality, and competition. As I navigated the necessary healing and releasing of some of those wounds, I found myself in a position of true power, internal power, with the capacity to share my new truth with others and, in turn, encourage them to engage their curiosity and find their own truth. Boundaries are a thing. This is a fun episode. Lots of laughs and loving self-depreciation and a lot of honesty from a gal who has won a GRAMMY and has rubbed shoulders with some incredible people in Hollywood and L.A. And even she feels like an imposter sometimes... she struggles to set good boundaries and say no?! This is an episode for the woman who is ready to love herself a whole lot more and realize her dream life is closer than she can imagine. ** “Receiving is so hard for me, especially in my relationships and friendships. I don't know how to let people do things for me because I don't feel worthy enough to receive. Now I have worked through the unworthy stuff. As much as I love to give to people and it lights me up to give, other people like that too. They don't expect anything in return and it's okay.” -Melinda Jackson Melinda Jackson is a Raleigh, NC based entrepreneur and owner of Melinda Jackson Public Relations. He is by far the most interesting accountant I have ever met, and one of my all time favorite conversations I have had to date on the podcast. Have a listen! ** “Learn how to stay in difficult conversations. Learn how to stay when it feels impossible. Just learn to stay because when we're moving away from all of our history, from our trauma, it sometimes feels like you will not get through it. Learn to stay and you'll find hope.” -Bob Wheeler “Ask for help even if you have to ask 20 or 50 times. You just haven't found the right person. It only takes one yes to shift your life and it's worth it.” -Bob Wheeler As a man of true integrity with infectious energy, Bob Wheeler's crusade for personal growth has cross-pollinated with his accounting practice to create a new approach to personal finances. His passion is to help others gain insights about how their emotions trigger financial decisions. Combining finances with behaviors, Bob explores his personal concept of creating a healthy relationship with money in his book, The Money Nerve: Navigating The Emotions Of Money, his online course, Mastering The Emotions Of Money and his podcast, Money You Should Ask. While strengthening his accounting practice, Bob has simultaneously pursued his love of satire and ventured into the realm of standup comedy. From his thirty years of helping clients, Bob has distilled a concoction of warmth, humor, information, motivation and budgeting directives that he offers to anyone with financial concerns. He is also currently the CFO for The World Famous Comedy Store. Bob's world travels have led him to high altitudes. He has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, ascended to the Mount Everest Base Camp, and hiked several smaller mountains in between. TRIGGER WARNING - We discuss abuse and trauma in this episode, so if that content isn't for you, please exercise your discretion with this episode. This might have been one of the most important conversations I've had about healing your trauma yet. Learn about fawning as a trauma response. Why it's likely that you have done this, or might still be; and why it's important to acknowledge the behaviour and stop it. This is a podcast for anyone who finds themselves dating “down” or who feel unworthy of love - wholly. ** “Have self-compassion and self trust for all of those voices that are untrue because they are the voices of your wounded child or the wounded part that was injured by abuse. It could be physical, emotional, sexual and even substance abuse.” -Nischa Phair Nischa Phair is an author, researcher, trauma informed sex educator and the founder of SomaBody Trauma Informed Pleasure Work®. She has been a trauma-informed teacher, facilitator and embodiment coach for 14 years working with thousands of clients in that time. Nischa initially began studying the connections between fawning and sex in 2016 to better understand her own experiences. She now works almost exclusively with female survivors and those recovering from toxic relationships to help them address fawning during intimacy and heal their relationships to pleasure. “Fawn: When No Looks Like Yes” is the first book to ever be written about fawning in the context of sex and consent. In addition to sounding the alarm, Phair attempts to answer the million-dollar question: “how can sex and intimacy thrive in a post-#metoo, post pandemic reality?” Part exposé, part self-study guide, part memoir, “Fawn” is a rousing call to celebrate our authentic sexuality and to invite more intention and integrity into our sex lives and relationships, whether they be casual or long term. I had Tamra Andress on my podcast and I sat in deep contemplative silence for over 30 minutes after the show. That's the powerful effect that someone who is living that grounded into their truth, faith and purpose has. It moved me to consider, and reconsider my life, my choices. And to wish, deeply wish to follow the stirring within to show up more completely, love more deeply and to be more fully quietly present; every day and all the time. As always this is a conversation about topics that really matter - and today's is about how subtly and insidiously racial prejudices and stereotypes are... and what the heck I can do about them. ** “If a black woman starts ranting and raving in the way that we talk culturally using our hands or anything else, we're a threat. And God forbid we say something valuable or we do something valuable, oftentimes it's stolen. In order to be credible in this society either I have to have a lot of money for marketing or I have to have letters behind my name for someone to feel that I have a right to say whatever I want to say. That's our true journey.” -Anika Wilson “If you get to know someone that doesn't look like you, you will learn that you actually want those same things. You want a good life. You want safety for your children. If you're a faithful person and you believe in God or whatever you believe in, it's the same things that you want for your children, the same things you want for your career, the same things you want for your life. The difference is, the pathway to those things is completely different because for blacks it's like qualifying for track and field in the Olympics. Where there's a hurdle and another hurdle. After you jump over that hurdle, then there's another hurdle. And the stronger you are, the more people put hurdles in your way.” -Anika Wilson “Educate yourself and immerse yourself in the culture. Talk to people at church, at work, just ask them questions about themselves, their families, or how they grew up, because believe it or not - all blacks aren't the same.” -Anika Wilson “For me, black women specifically are born leaders. And I say that because leadership is about resilience. It's about what you learn from what you experience, what you learn from adversity and how you overcome it.” -Anika Wilson “Unfortunately leadership development is not offered to women like me. The fact is that black women aren't afforded leadership development so we continue to be under compensated. We continue to be overlooked. We continue to be discounted and misunderstood because we're not given the structure that everybody else has been given. And I can say the same in business development.”-Anika Wilson “Don't let anyone impact your leadership abilities. If someone tells you that you're supposed to do such and such, but your heart tells you you're supposed to do something. Follow your intuition, your intuition is your gift, and that is your protection. So honor your authentic self, create your own identity and blaze the trails with it. And don't look back.” -Anika Wilson Anika Wilson, is a respected thought leader, executive coach, trainer, speaker, podcast host, conference curator, and business consultant. After working in social services and government for two decades, she founded Nobody Greater, LLC. What happens when leaders stop listening? What happens when they use their power or rather, abuse their power, to shut down and shame? I guess I have an expectation of leadership; the expectation that they will behave better, think bigger, respond from a place of established emotional maturity. That is to say, they will hold lightly to their personal beliefs to do that powerful thing to listen. What if more leaders could hear and hold space for conversations with people who did not share their values and beliefs? What if we/us/them could know and trust our own selves enough to allow space for someone else. To disagree. ** “In holding your values and your beliefs lightly, you allow the grace and space that you need to have when your values come in conflict with each other.” -Candice Smiley “A leader is somebody who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” -Candice Smiley “May we have the courage to take the time, to know our own selves, to know our own boundaries, to trust our own niggles that tell ourselves our own truth, and then to live out from that space of integrity and not lose ourselves, not bully those people. Not use our power or misuse our power.” -Candice Smiley Mayor Withholding Funds: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/arts/mississippi-mayor-withholds-library-funds-over-lgbtq-books Create the Ripple Podcast Ep.28 (Danielle Reed) - How Important is knowing your personal values in your day-to-day life? https://www.candicesmiley.com/episode-028 Create the Ripple Podcast Ep.52 (Roe vs Wade) - Why the Roe vs Wade issue is uncomfortable, dividing and must be talked about (Part 1) https://www.candicesmiley.com/e52-roe-vs-wade-dabate-with-candice Dr. Mikolaj Raszek (Merogenomics Inc.).: https://merogenomics.ca/ https://www.youtube.com/c/Merogenomics Episode Transcriptions: https://www.candicesmiley.com/podcast-archive We love our collabs! This is about two healed trauma survivors who connect on anger, acceptance and being unafraid to be messy in our own journey to heal more fully and share with total transparency. ** “In a partnership, I think we have to be able to be vulnerable and have that trust. First of all, it takes time. TRIGGER WARNING - We discuss abortions in this episode, so if that content isn't for you, please exercise your discretion with this episode. Carmen Cervantes is a woman who never thought she would be a mother, by her own conscious choice. When she and her husband found themselves unexpectedly pregnant they consciously decided that they would have an abortion. Then, they changed their minds... I have a lot of respect for Carmen because she has entered into motherhood with her eyes wide open to the challenges she would face, the physical impact, the exhaustion and the financial strain. Despite the fact that we would have made different choices to start with, we are completely aligned in our desire to be conscious parents. (I would have respected her choice either way FYI!) We are both women who are horrified at the thought that abortions might be made illegal in the states if Roe vs. Wade is reversed. We talk about this in this podcast. So trigger warning for those of you who might be sensitive to this sort of conversation. It's also on my heart to say, if you are a woman who wishes she could be pregnant, you have a big hug coming from me... I know conversations like this might be hard to hear... but I feel strongly that we must be talking powerfully about keeping our choice and body autonomy. For you, for me, for our daughters and for the women around the globe who would feel the reverse of Roe so much more than we would! #RiseSisterRise ** “Our history, our trauma, the way that we were raised, the place we grew up, everything enforms the decisions that we're going to make as mothers.” - Carmen Cervantes “Nobody can tell you what's right for you.” - Carmen Cervantes “There's this whole idea about creating this ideal norm that nobody can measure up to, nor should we aspire to do that. We should embrace the fact that we're all different and that we all have different needs, live, and let live.” - Carmen Cervantes “We need to stop comparing ourselves, stop putting our own perception on others. Just take care of yourself, take care of your family. And hopefully you can learn to take care of others.” - Carmen Cervantes “There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they're falling in.” ― Desmond Tutu “What would happen if one woman told the truth about her life? The world would split open.”― Muriel Rukeyser Carmen Cervantes is the host of the podcast Mother Mami Mom. She curates a space that helps mothers shed the idealized fantasy of motherhood and embrace their own journey through all of its ups and downs. She is passionate about bringing mother's stories to the forefront and strives to encourage women in motherhood through community. She has learned that most women feel like they are failing as moms and hopes to create a collective shift in consciousness by showing up with curiosity instead of judgment so that all women can begin to truly enjoy their own motherhood journey. Trigger Warning. This is a Tell the Truth personal podcast that might be triggering for some. Saturday, January 22nd marked the 49th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court ruling. That landmark moment is now being threatened as the political landscape has changed in the last few years. Now, in this podcast I am endeavoring to NOT go into the political or the religious beliefs around this that are so polarizing; but rather to ask my listeners to pull themselves away from the single abortion issue to the grander women empowerment and equality issue. I share some uncomfortable statistics, and honestly, I think those are the tip of the iceberg and there are many more ways women are paying the price financially, physically, mentally and emotionally when they are forced to carry to term children that men refuse to acknowledge or support. I am surprised at how well men have pitted women against each other for centuries and we seem to keep falling back into the trap where we argue against each other as women for different views, while we fail to see the bigger issue. The way the guy "penetrates the scared" and then seems to slip away. What a tax on the system when it's the single women who are raising the children, while the men refuse to pay fair child support; using their words and their money to scare them, to financially abuse them - while other men wouldn't want to "date a single mom". The shame continues and increases. While the women are threatened with punishment for even considering an abortion, and the men who fathered those children are "celebrated" for "sowing their seeds". White conservative men of privilege who still, in the awakened world of 2022, want to somehow control the reproductive rights of women. There is a worldwide gaslighting campaign going on ladies. Enough is enough. It's time to wake up and rise up. If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, please contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) or go to rainn.org “We know that we are, as women are rising, but we have to be doing a better job. I think of rising together.” - Candice Smiley “We have to be doing a better job of being willing to powerfully, compassionately and beautifully set aside our differences, holding our values lightly. Last year, I started my podcast and welcomed my baby boy earth side." Candice is a mom, podcaster, social marketer and essentialist who loves to engage in interesting conversations with other influencers and entrepreneurs. With over 350 thousand dollars worth of bad debt, Candice was forced to rebuild her life, her credit and her trust in herself. This is why you might not need to listen to another goal setting podcast if you want to hit your goals in 2022. I'm wondering if it's a "self worth" question. Insert "what's love got to do with it" tune here. Seriously though, do you need another goal setting podcast or how to make up the vision board? Probably not, although you can check out my system for getting beyond the "clip art" vision board and the "smart goal" hang ups to the real stuff in my "A Simple Little How-To Vision Board Book for Big Dreamers" that launched last week. If you are like me and you are so done with just settling for less and are ready to really embrace the fullness of yourself and love yourself to your goals this year, then this is the podcast for you. With 2022 so close this is the perfect episode to use as a catalyst to think about what you want, who you might be if your beliefs didn't de-fine or limit you or to open yourself to expansive change and see what source might have in store for you in the future. This is an episode for the one who is not afraid of a little woo woo, discussions on past lives and the “and” in our lives. Some of my podcasts are heavy, and we engage in more deep conversations about life. This one was pure magic, fun, laughter and impact. Whew. When I read the bio on Lisa Morton I felt all kinds of intimidated. Then we met online to podcast and it was like I found a long lost sister. This woman shared her story and entrepreneur journey with me with such vulnerability and transparency it was like taking a deep breath of fresh mountain air. This is a show for the very-human big-dream kind of woman who knows her limits, faults and shortcomings… and shows up every day to do and offer her best, right or wrong, mistake or not… but always to try. ** “It's integrity, I will never finish a job that's not finished properly.” - Lisa Morton “It is absolutely okay to be vulnerable.” - Lisa Morton “Show vulnerability in life, ask for help, don't try and profess that you can do everything. You'll be surprised that the offers of help do come because people feel that you're a human being and that they can relate to you.” - Lisa Morton “What drives me is to make a difference, to create an impact, create purpose and put people together and create magic.” - Lisa Morton Connect with Lisa Morton: http://www.rdpr.co.uk/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/lisamortonrdpr/ https://twitter.com/RDPRtweets https://www.facebook.com/RolandDransfield/ https://www.instagram.com/roland_dransfield/ More Links: We Built This City Podcast (Apple) https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/we-built-this-city-greater-manchester/id1499688807 We Built This City Podcast (Spotify) https://open.spotify.com/show/3AOUQyqzzOgyGup9nUpS8i Books: **As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases** Essentialism - Greg McKeown https://amzn.to/3lCm6te Essentialism - Greg McKeown (Kindle) https://amzn.to/302WU7y Essentialism - Greg McKeown (Audio) https://amzn.to/31xWPJM John Amaechi - The Promises of Giants https://amzn.to/3dpdu4m John Amaechi - The Promises of Giants (Kindle) https://amzn.to/3ExsCZp John Amaechi - The Promises of Giants (Audio) https://amzn.to/3pvPcvo ** “20 years ago I survived a sexual assault from my boyfriend. 13 years ago I decided not to kill myself. 10 years ago I was left with 350 k worth of bad debt. 8 years ago I went into consumer proposal to fix that. 6 years ago I welcomed my beautiful daughter into the world. 4 years ago I left my marriage to fall in love with myself. 2 years ago I allowed myself to heal and reconnect with my feminine; AND rebuilt my life as I moved into my own tiny home and found my lifetime love. This might have been a podcast but it felt more like a relaxing conversation between two friends; even though I had just met Jon when the camera turned on. I don't know what else to say about it, except to invite you to listen in for a very neat conversation; about life, weight loss, parenthood, unhealed trauma.. and how compassion leads to transformation. ** “The two core values I live by are compassion and integrity.” - Jon McLernon “Gentleness is strength under control.” - Jon McLernon “Compassion and awareness is the space where we create transformation.” - Jon McLernon “We have so many unconscious behaviours, patterns, mindsets, habits, beliefs, identities, and we have to bring them into our conscious awareness if we are going to create change. The process of bringing it into our conscious awareness can be uncomfortable, because now we are going to see our flaws as they are, we are going to see ourselves without the filter. Without compassion we will move into the space of judgement, but with compassion we can look at it with a curious desire to understand.” - Jon McLernon Connect with Jon McLernon: NUTRITION: https://www.freedomnutritioncoach.com MENTORSHIP: https://www.jonmclernon.com YOUTUBE: https://freedomnutrition.rocks/YouTube CRUSH YOUR CRAVINGS GUIDE: https://www.freedomnutritioncoach.com/book PODCAST: https://freedomnutrition.rocks/btba-podcast TWITCH: https://www.twitch.tv/freedomnutritioncoach TWITTER: https://twitter.com/noFNdiets LINKEDIN: https://www.linkedin.com/in/freedom-nutrition-coaching/ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/canadianomad/ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/jonmclernoncoach/ ** “20 years ago I survived a sexual assault from my boyfriend. Aimee is one of the most candid interviews I have done yet. When I saw her impressive resume I will admit to feeling a little intimidated. Then she came on and the first question she asked was "how is my hair? We've been travelling and I was worried I wouldn't be here on time.." and laughed. I laughed with her, relieved - and we then proceeded to meet as women, as mothers, as business owners -- and shared space, ideas and stories, candidly. I am so excited to share this interview with you. Aimee has some incredible financial nuggets for any woman, but especially the entrepreneur. ** “I believe there are three basic fundamental tenets in life. You are enough, you are loved and you are worthy.” - Aimee LaLiberte “We are always worthy and if we can just love ourselves unconditionally, regardless of what the results in the business are, those are completely separate. That is an invitation for anyone to become the next version of themselves.” - Aimee LaLiberte “The bottom line on your income statement, the amount of money that is in your bank account, that has nothing to do with you as your worth, as a human being. That is just your birthright. You are worthy, you are always worthy. The number is neutral, your thoughts around it are what creates everything else.” - Aimee LaLiberte Connect with Aimee LaLiberte: https://www.myvirtualcfo.co/ https://www.facebook.com/myvirtualcfo https://www.linkedin.com/in/alaliberte/ https://www.instagram.com/myvirtualcfo/ Book: **As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases** Mike Michalowicz - Profit First https://amzn.to/3nsEhTd Mike Michalowicz - Profit First (Kindle) https://amzn.to/3nCmtFD ** “20 years ago I survived a sexual assault from my boyfriend. Create the Ripple Podcast was started to tell stories, to tell the truth and to make an impact. Candice loves the quote by Muriel Rukeyser What would happen if one woman told the truth about her life? The world would split open. And in a nutshell that's the podcast's intent, mission and main ideal - to hold space for story and truth that causes the world to split wide open. After an intense period of grief brought on a full life healing and transformation, Candice's lifelong love of speaking, sharing ideas and telling stories emerged in the form of the podcast. After resisting getting her own story out, Angel turned the mic toward Candice and asked her some questions... This is Part One of the Tell All Series you'll be hearing more of over the coming months. Do you have a story to tell? Candice and Angel would love to connect with you and support you to share it powerfully on the Create the Ripple Podcast. No previous experience needed. ** “What would happen if one woman told the truth about her life? The world would split open.” - Muriel Rukeyser “The whole reason for starting the podcast was to hold space for conversations that mattered.” - Candice Smiley “One of my core values are connection, communication, having conversations and having conversations that take courage to be had.” - Candice Smiley “If you can't be honest with yourself, you are not going to make any kind of change. You are not going to move forward at all and you certainly can't be honest with anyone else.” - Candice Smiley “My life got so much bigger when I was able to let go.” - Candice Smiley “You don't attract what you want, you attract who you are.” - Candice Smiley “Figure out exactly what you want and who you want to be. You can find a level of peace and happiness that you are only dreaming about right now, if you just start the process. Figure out what your core values are so it becomes easier to make decisions. If you don't know who you are, figure out where your core values are and then you'll begin to shape it from there.” - Candice Smiley “Be brave, choose brave, choose to be courageous.
