From December 13, 2023: You may have heard of Javier Milei, Argentina's new president, thanks to some of his eccentricities, like his five cloned dogs or his reliance on a chainsaw prop to illustrate the need to cut public expenditure. But Milei was able to harness the dissatisfaction with a system that has left the country with 150% inflation and over 40% of the population under the line of poverty. Now, the self described anarcho-capitalist libertarian will attempt to turn the economy around with shocking fiscal adjustment. To discuss this inflection point in Argentina, Lawfare's Fellow in Technology Policy and Law Eugenia Lostri spoke with Ana Iparraguirre, a partner at consulting firm GBAO and a frequent commentator on leading Latin American media outlets. They talked about Milei's rise to power, if and how he can deliver on his campaign promises, and what that would even mean for the Argentinian people. To receive ad-free podcasts, become a Lawfare Material Supporter at www.patreon.com/lawfare. Jeff is a prominent speaker at many of the world's freedom, investment and cryptocurrency conferences including , his own annual event in Acapulco, Mexico currently going on its 10th year. Jeff's background in the financial markets dates back to his founding of Canada's largest financial website, , in 1994. In the late ‘90s the company expanded worldwide into 8 different countries and had 250 employees and a market capitalization of $240 million USD at the peak of the “tech bubble”. To this day more than a million investors use Stockhouse.com for investment information every month. After selling the company in 2002 he tried to sail around the world and sank his boat in El Salvador. He then carried on via backpack to over 100 countries in a quest to understand the world through his own eyes and not the lens of the fakestream media. Since founding TDV in 2010 he was the first financial analyst in the world to recommend Bitcoin at $3 in 2011. He also recommended Ethereum at $2 in 2016. Bitcoin went on to record a gain of 2,300,000% and Ethereum gained 239,900% from his recommendation price making him the most prolific financial analyst in the history of the world. He has since been banned nearly everywhere for exposing the globalist and central bank systems but still publishes regular videos on  with his dog Lucy. He published a worldwide best selling book, ‘' in 2020 and was one of the first to expose the entire Covid plandemic psychological operation which he outlined in his book. You may have heard of Javier Milei, Argentina's new president, thanks to some of his eccentricities, like his five cloned dogs or his reliance on a chainsaw prop to illustrate the need to cut public expenditure. They talked about Milei's rise to power, if and how he can deliver on his campaign promises, and what that would even mean for the Argentinian people.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/lawfare. In this episode, Alex starts by giving a movie recommendation and talking about why he dislikes Black Friday. Then he talks about Argentina's new president-elect, Javier Milei. Milei is a unique, anarcho-capitalist with dangerous views that are all covered up by his flamboyant and entertaining personality. Alex laughs and cries about what his future in Argentina may hold. Finally, Alex talks about Sam Altman's firing at OpenAI and what it means in the “Open Civil War of AI” between tech capitalists and utilitarians. It seems like Altman's firing could just help Microsoft gain influence over a troubling and powerful new technology.

The Journey of Transcendence with Jeff Berwick Not only is Jeff Berwick a passionate freedom and peace advocate but, he's a bestselling author and founder of Anarchapulco (an annual voluntaryist gathering that draws individuals worldwide). On today's episode, Jeff discusses perspectives on where the world is going and reveal insights into his journey of healing and transcendence. ======================== Anarcho-Capitalist. Libertarian. Freedom fighter against mankind's two biggest enemies, the State and the Central Banks. Jeff Berwick founded  (TDV) in 2010 with Ed Bugos. Berwick is no longer allowed on mainstream television, Youtube, Facebook and most other mainstream platforms as he constantly exposes government narratives and helps people to not only survive but profit from the financial collapse and the apocalypse. Berwick also helped found the anarcho-capitalist country  and is currently the Ambassador and Diplomat for Liberland in Mexico.

Craig is joined by John Krueger for a conversation about his journey from being an angry Anarcho-Capitalist to a peaceful Anarcho-Christian. Unjust police killings, SWAT raids gone wrong and harsh lockdowns made John angry. He was eager to learn how to use a gun and imagined himself needing to protect his family from police violence. In the midst of this, the Holy Spirit met John and showed him a peaceful option. Libertarian philosophy is peaceful, but we need Jesus and His word to have the whole picture. Craig and John advocate for Christian pacifism and examine what was going on in their hearts at the points when they both contemplated joining the military. Craig and John discuss the libertarian and Christian anarchist positions on the decriminalization of drugs, the real needs of terrorists, the US at war, gun control, and other contentious current issues. The state is coercion and violence. Laws are enforced with fines that are begrudgingly paid to avoid the threat of violence or time spent in a cage. You cannot make people peaceful like this, using the state's methods. But rather, we need to be those who allow the Holy Spirit to work in us to change the hearts and minds of those surrounding us; that is how social change works in the Kingdom. Let's listen to Jesus and do things His way, forsaking violence and anger. Let's work towards peace.
