The majority of people are ready to throw their aims and purposes overboard and give up at first sight of opposition or misfortune. The very few who carry on despite all opposition until they attain their goals are the Carnegies, the Fords, Rockefellers, Edisons, the Gates…. Napoleon Hill says that fortunes gravitate to men whose minds have been prepared to attract them, just as water gravitates to the ocean. To get results you must apply all the rules until their application becomes a fixed habit with you. Occasional effort will be of no value. The lack of persistence (common to the majority of men), may be conquered only through the intensity of the desire. For Network Marketers, this notion of persistence from Think & Grow Rich resonates totally with their work of keeping the burning desire burning. Some people were born with the quality of perseverance. But for most people (including famous businessmen ) it is not innate, it is acquired through training and drilling. There are four simple steps leading to the habit of persistence: Definite purpose backed by burning desire. Definite plan expressed in continuous action. A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences. Friendly alliance with the people who will encourage you to achieve. I can help you to put your desire to work. On July 11, 2021, Richard Branson ushered in the era of private space travel by flying to the edge of space in a "space plane" designed and built by his company. In a few weeks, Jeff Bezos will surpass Branson's accomplishment by flying above the Karman Line (an altitude of 100 kilometers), the internationally recognized boundary for space, in a "rocket ship" designed and built by his company. While Elon Musk has not been a passenger in one of his own spacecrafts, SpaceX (his company) put people in space in August 2020. We discuss these accomplishments, the new space race (and how it's different from the original space race), and what it means for the next generation of Edisons and Teslas. The Faction Election War Won (18) David - 1/27/21 (audio) They Don’t Hate Me, They Hate You   Dana Coverstone Dream of 1/23-26/21 transcribed by Missy Pollock. (David’s notes in red) I saw a hospital nursery filled with hundreds and hundreds of cribs with babies many were crying and some were sleeping.  (A multitude of new converts born into the kingdom.)  I saw maybe 12 to 15 nurses running everywhere trying to take care of all these babies. It's obvious they were stressed. They were sweating. They were nervous. They were running here to there.  They would get one baby down and another would start crying. This place was huge. It was like an auditorium. They kept saying there's not enough of them and they were actually calling out for help saying can anybody here please come help us please come help us. They were still unable to help take care of all those babies. Some of the nurses were holding two and three babies at a time trying to feed them. Trying to calm them, trying to get them to calm down and put them back into their cribs. And that man that I see so often was dressed as a doctor in a plain white coat came into the room and said, “The harvest is full but not enough are helping.” I understand that's a reference for the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. (The plague taking down the enemy and their spiritual Red Sea will bring multitudes into the Kingdom. The nations heard and remarked how their God took down their enemies at the Red Sea.) The next thing I saw was Washington DC. There were two F-16s flying in a circle around the boundaries of the city of the capital. They would circle but not flying in a line towards each other, not head on. And when they got to the other side They would do that circle again. They were both circling in different directions. They weren't flying together. (This represents the two sides; those flying to the left and those flying to the right.)  Each F-16 had sensor like equipment on the bottom of them as well as missiles under each wing. The pilots were watching very closely the air space. You could see The pilots talking to one another and looking and watching the perimeter. (Both. are watching the Capitol closely.  The Left has threatened the right with dirty bombs and Biological bombs, trying to protect their House criminals.) Then I saw the capital and inside the chamber there looked like furnaces but no wood and no fires. There was like a suction device under where you would put the wood. I saw congressmen and senators and they were shoveling stacks of $100 bills into those fireplace areas and they were being sucked up through these pipes and they were flying with the wind in every single direction up and about but nothing was landing on the ground. There are people on the ground in coats and gloves (Winter time?  No heat?) and they were looking up, jumping up to grab the money but it was too far above them and they couldn’t get it in their hands. Even people on top of the buildings had nets and bags but they couldn't reach the money as it flew past them. (The house has spent money for the wind but has done nothing to meet the needs of the people and they know it.) Then the next thing I saw was up in the balcony of the capital there were about 30 congressmen and senators. I know who I saw, I'm not going to say names for this one. They were barricaded into the middle section there. It was obvious that some of them had been beaten. Some of them have been abused physically. (This represents those congressman and senators who have been persecuted and spiritually beaten for their high position by those beneath them. As they have defaced the right so they will receive for whatsoever a man sows so shall he reap.) They were surrounded by a police unit, non-military with rifles, body armor, helmets and they had faces that were covered. They were being very aggressive toward the elected officials that had been rounded up in this middle section of the capital balcony. One senator stood up and he demanded to know why they were being held like prisoners and treated like prisoners. He was hit right in the face with the butt of a rifle and was told to stop asking questions. (Defacing those who have taken a higher position.) The scene quickly changed to the floor where the former president (President Trump. In his new organization he calls himself "the former President") stood in the area where the state of the union address is given. He was in handcuffs and one ear was bleeding a very bright red. Not a normal blood red, the color of blood you would see flowing, it's a very bright red blood. (Their crucifixion of P. Trump in his own hearing with many painful lies. God says, “The slanderer I will destroy.")  The other ear was bruised to the point where it was just black and blue like you were in an accident like a car accident or you had been hit by a 2x4. His ear was just black and blue, deeply deeply bruised. (This bruising is another symbol of crucifixion at the hands of his enemies. Isa 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Like Jesus, even though they searched and searched they could not prove any laws were broken by him and yet they crucified him. Resurrection is coming and 4 more years. His eyes were very bloodshot and he appeared to be barely standing on his own. As a matter of fact the Sergeant of arms was directly behind him holding him up and was whispering into his right ear. He would occasionally squeeze his right arm as well and the former president would wince like he was hurting, he was in pain. He would almost go to his knees every time the sergeant of arms squeezed his right arm. Suddenly the former president pushed himself up, he stood up and went forward quickly from where he was. He suddenly spoke out loud and he said, ”It's not me they hate, it's you.” (Trump has stated this before. It is true that he has suffered defending us and should be greatly respected for this.)   He was then rushed out the door and a congressman came to the podium. This person hit the gavel roughly enough that it broke both the gavel and dented the desk, the table they were sitting at. (Symbolizing how they do not want to hear the truth because of their demon possession.)   The person said “Now let's get the rest of them because it's our house now.” The congressman looked up to the balcony and pointed and said, “Put them with the rest.” Then the man that I see so often was now standing up in the middle of those 30 leaders who were in the balcony of the capital. He said loudly, “I never said to stop bracing.” He helped those beaten leaders to their feet and walked out with them through the back door of the balcony area. He looked back as he went through the door and said these words, “Stay braced for His namesake.” (Brace yourselves for their retaliation and believe in your Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, and do spiritual warfare. Purim is almost here where the tables will be turned and the wicked will receive what they sowed.)   P. Trump Devouring Haman and His DS People Joe Brits - 1/17/21 (David’s notes in red) I ask the Lord if I should send this to you, He gave me two heads for a yes! In my dream I'm in my car with Nora at a school security gate. I said to somebody... “I am here to pick up something”. In the next scene, I was walking down the stairs and see President Trump. Then I said to him “The woman with me in the car is my wife. President Trump said he is going to eat something light. I'm not sure what he said he is going to eat, it sounded like 'Haman'. So I looked strangely at him and he just nodded his head in affirmation.  (We have received in our morning prayer meeting by faith at random Haman and his peoples fall many times in Esther.  Haman hated the Man-child Mordecai, who is a parallel between Trump and the Man-child, and sought to hang him.  We see the DS clearly in this. Haman sought to use his people, spread throughout the kingdom, to destroy all of the people of Mordecai representing God’s people today.  The DS in Church and Government has sought to do this, I warn that a plague of their making is coming worse than the first one they sent.  But Haman's plan came on his own head and that of his people by the hand of the King. Then Mordecai the Man-child and the Bride Esther received the Kingdom. God said in Gen 12:3  and I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. This speaking of Abraham and all of his seed, which we are by faith.) Then he said: Join me. I'll meet you at Menlo Park High School! (This school is in South Afrika) (Also Menlo Park in CA and later in NJ was famous for Edisons gathering of inventors who worked there to produce their inventions.  Edison had several inventions of his own.   However he seems to have been a usurper to the most famous inventor of all time, Nicola Tesla, whose inventions would have given a giant leap into the future for man-kind had not Edison hindered this to promote himself. I think this means Trump is taking the battle to the usurpers of our government for their own aggrandizement. And President Trump is bringing back Tesla’s inventions.) I ask of the Lord a verse by faith and got:  2Ch 1:11  And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thy heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honor, nor the life of them that hate thee, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king.  (111 is the gematria of the birth of Jesus as a type of the future Man-child company ministry. http://www.biblecode.com/examp1.html   This morning I received this dream from Joe just after I prayed for the Lord to give me wisdom for this mornings broadcast and this was the first verse I read.)     Man-child and Bride Ministries Coming to the Church Claire Pienaar - 1/26/21 (David’s notes in red) I have had 3-6 dreams this past week where Riaan is very well dressed, in charge of “things” (like maybe situations/teams of people), and he is really in love with me.  (Riaan here speaks of the Man-child body of reformers at this time.  As John said, “He that hath the Bride is the Bridegroom”.  Jesus as the Bridegroom came in a body of the son of David as a type of the Man-child ministry coming today.) In these dreams we’re living such a great life (much like in the natural). I didn't see other people in the dreams. There’s an “isolation” or “protection” that we had in these dreams. (As the Lord has told us that His Man-child and Bride bodies are hidden and protected and provided for. In Joel 2 the Groom and Bride were revealed as the Northern army (DS) approached and they were destroyed followed by revival. Joe 2:15-16  Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly;  16  gather the people, sanctify the assembly, assemble the old men, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. … 20  but I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive it into a land barren and desolate, its forepart into the eastern sea, and its hinder part into the western sea; and its stench shall come up, and its ill savor shall come up, because it hath done great things. … 23  Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God; for he giveth you the former rain in just measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, in the first month.   There is also a spirit of dread, death and fear in these dreams. We don't have the spirit, but it’s there, somehow.  There’s not much to say about these dreams except for that spirit of dread, fear and death that was everywhere. (The plague and the greatest earthquakes are coming) Saturn wobbles and tilts drastically but is being blamed on its moons instead of Planet X passing by. Jan 20, 2021. https://phys.org/news/2021-01-saturn-tilt-moons.html (Its on the way and traveling extremely fast as Lakeisha’s revelation showed. God will once more shake the heavens and the earth and overthrow the throne of evil kingdoms as Paul in Hebrews and Hagaii said.) But we had such joy and love, together with our children. My interpretation is that God is confirming a few things: 1. Riaan’s love for me  2. Our safety and protection and provision from the Most High 3. The man-child is greatly protective and loving towards his bride and He will let her flourish and feel secure in coming times of great distress.  I told Riaan about these dreams and he said he received this verse this morning - same verse he and many others received last year when C-19 happened: Isa 20:26-27 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself for a little moment, (Just like at the Passover) until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood (The blood shed by the DS will be revealed), and shall no more cover her slain. (Like happens in a plague) I received Ezekiel 2:6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel was like the Man-child, caught up to the throne of God and then sent to the people of the captivity in Eze 1:26-2:3) We had this discussion, and then I checked my email about 2mins later and there were your updates! Exactly what Riaan and I were talking about in terms of a greater pestilence on the way.  Robin Bullocks prophecy about God taking down famous DS people - https://youtu.be/2yntfGGOUmQ.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yntfGGOUmQ&feature=youtu.be   He names many big names in the DS left being taken down.  Also he saw a large group of democrats follow Trump.   Kim Clements prophecy in 2007, before Trump ran for President, of his victory over his enemies and four more years.  https://youtu.be/Q0RtfEoyF2U Warren Cho 1/25/21: The word I received earlier today was MI Governor Gretchen got the "WORD" and for now her Health Director had to resign from his post immediately, which he did. In this session, we will quickly develop a basic understanding of AI, and its advantages, applications, and difficulties.5G, Blockchain, and Self-driving Cars: Why does the pace of change keep getting faster? Why does the pace of change seem to be quickening? There is a reason! “Exponential” technologies are causing massive disruption to our world and livelihoods. Let's take a close look at what drives these technologies, the positive and negative effects on markets and nations, and develop an "exponential mindset" to anticipate digital disruptions.Smart Homes, Smart Farms, Smart Cities and the Internet of Things. Our world seems to be getting smarter, thanks to the Internet of Things (IoT). Cheap electronics, a robust set of tools, and growing libraries of projects have enabled our surroundings to become "smart" and have empowered everyday innovators. Modern-day Edisons can inexpensively and quickly create new inventions using IoT devices. Already several Missouri entrepreneurs have used this technology to create thriving businesses. Let's explore these tools are being used to shape the future!

#25 Against the Odds: An Autobiography by James Dyson

What I learned from reading Against the Odds: An Autobiography by James DysonI am a creator of products, a builder of things. [0:01]This book is the story of 15 years of struggle to finally invent, own, and sell his own product. [1:35]This is the exposition of a business philosophy which is very different from anything you might have encountered before. [2:11]The first 75% to 80% of the book is just struggle after struggle. [2:47]Dyson had a bunch of people that he looked up to that motivated him as a young man. Thomas Edison is one of those people. [4:51]Such reverence has been accorded to the miserable wheel —that perhaps that alone can account for the fact it was never improved. Perhaps millions of people in the last few years had ideas for improving it. All I did was take things a little further than just having an idea. [6:10]The look of the product —the intangible style that sets one thing apart from another—is still closest to my heart. [7:04]After the idea there is plenty of time to learn the technology. My first cyclonic vacuum cleaner was built out of cereal packets and masking tape long before I understood how it worked. [8:09]The greatest lesson for aspiring inventors was yet to come. The actual making of money. Paper stuff in thick wads which they finally give to you because you have done something good. [8:40]The best kind of business is one where you could sell a product at a high price with a good margin and in enormous volumes. That type of investment is long term, high risk, and not very British. Or at least it looks like a high-risk policy. It is not so likely to prove hazardous to one's financial health as simply following the herd. [9:25]Difference for the sake of it. In everything. Because is must be better. From the moment the ideas strikes, to the running of the business. Difference, and retention of total control. [10:39]This is not even a business book. If anything it is a book against business, against the principles that have filled the world with ugly, useless objects. [11:37]Everybody told James over and over and over again “Who are you to think that you could invent a better vacuum cleaner? If that was possible Hoover would have done it already." [12:44]We all want to make our mark. We all want to make beautiful things and a little money. We all have our own ideas about how to do it. What follows just happens to be my way.  [13:15]I have been a misfit throughout my professional life, and that seems to have worked for my advantage. Misfits are not born or made. They make themselves. [13:45]I took on the big boys at their own game, made them look very silly, just by being true to myself. [15:56]There was no dad to teach me how to run. There was no dad to tell me how great I was. Herb Elliot was a big name [in running] at the time, so I read a few books about him and discovered that his coach had told him that the way to develop stamina and strengthen the leg muscles was to run up and down sand dunes. This suited me fine. I would get up at six in the morning and run dunes for hours, or put on my running kit at ten o' clock at night and not reappear until after midnight. Out there alone on the dunes I got a terrific buzz knowing that I was doing something that no one else was—they were all tucked away in bed. I knew I was training myself to do something better than anyone else would be able to do.  [18:14]Running is a wonderful thing. It isn't like a team sport where you depend on other people. There is no question of your performance being judged. You either run faster than everyone else or you do not. In running your performance is absolute. I was out there [on the sand dunes] learning how to do something, and getting a visible result. [19:34]As I started to win by greater and greater margins I did it [run sand dunes] more and more because I knew the reason for my success was that out on the sand dunes I was doing something else no one else was doing. They were all running around the track like a herd of sheep and not getting any quicker. Difference itself was making me come in first. [20:50]I was learning about the physical and psychological strength that keeps you competitive. I was learning about obstinacy. I was learning how to overcome nerves, and as I grew more and more neurotic about being caught from behind, I trained harder to stay in front. To this day it is the fear of failure, more than anything else, that keeps me working at success. [21:31]The only way to make a genuine breakthrough was to pursue a vision with single-minded determination in the face of criticism. [22:26]Isambard Kingdom Brunel was unable to think small, and nothing was a barrier to him. The mere fact that something had never been done before presented, to Brunel, no suggestion that the doing of it was impossible—he was fired by an inner strength and self-belief almost impossible to imagine in this feckless age. I have tried to be as confident in my vision as he was. And at times in my life when I have encountered difficulty and self-doubt I have looked to his example to fire me on. [22:55]I have told myself, when people tried to make me modify my ideas, that the Great Western Railway could not have worked as anything but the vision of a single man, pursued with dogged determination that was nothing less than obsession. Throughout my story I will return to Brunel, and to other designers and engineers, to show how identifying with them, and seeing parallels with every stage of my own life, enabled me to see my career as a whole and to know that it would all turn out the way it has. [24:59]Remember that I am celebrating only my stubbornness. I am claiming nothing but the virtues of a mule. [25:42]So my dream was to be a Isambard Kingdom Brunel. [26:40]The public has been easily convinced by advertising, and receptiveness to revolution has dwindled. Such ‘invention' as is now allowed is the prerogative of multinationals, not people. Where are our Wright Brothers? Where have the Edisons gone? And the Henry Fords? They are not here. We have broken new frontiers, but where are the names? Who invented the space shuttle? The nuclear submarine? The wind farm? When you go for backing for your crazy scheme it is not enough to be a man, you have to be a group of men. And where is the fun in that? [26:56]I learnt a crucial business principle: The only way to make real money is to offer the public something entirely new, that has style value as well as substance, and which they cannot get anywhere else. [28:03]College had taught me to revere experts and expertise. Jeremiah Fry ridiculed all that; as far as he was concerned, with enthusiasm and intelligence anything was possible. It was mind-blowing. And as we proceeded I could see that we were getting on extremely quickly. The more I observed his method, the more it fascinated me. [31:07]I learned one of the most crucial business lessons of my life; to stint on investment in the early stages, to try to sell a half-finished product, is to doom from the start any project you embark on. [32:13]People do not want all-purpose; they want high-tech specificity. [34:11]You simply cannot mix your messages when selling something new. A consumer can barely handle one great new idea, let alone two, or even several. [34:20]Only by trying to sell the thing that you have made yourself, by dealing with consumers' problems and the product's failings as they arise, can you really come to understand what you have done. Only the man who has brought the thing into the world can presume to foist it on others, and demand a heavy price, with all his heart. [35:52]It was an interesting lesson in psychology, teaching me that the entrenched professional is always going to resist far longer than the private consumer. [36:26]Editorials are the very best way of convincing the public. One decent editorial counts for a thousand advertisements. [39:20]One fo the strains of this book is about CONTROL. If you have the intimate knowledge of a product that comes with dreaming it up and then designing it, then you will be the better able to sell it and then, reciprocally, to go back to it and improve it. From there you are in the best possible position to convince others of its greatness. To see it through all the way to its optimum point. To total fruition, if you like. [42:04]I was stopped by one of them with the words I was to hear over and over and over again for the next ten years. ‘But James, your idea can't be any good. If there were a better kind of vacuum cleaner, Hoover would have invented it.' [48:07]We always want to create something new out of nothing, and without research, and without long hard hours of effort. But there is no such thing as a quantum leap. There is only dogged persistence—and in the end you make it look like a quantum leap. [51:38]A vacuum cleaner designed entirely by me, incorporating innovations up to the very latest point at which my technology had arrived, to be produced and marketed and sold under my own exclusive direction was, to be frank, what this whole thing had been all about. [1:02:48]It was a fantastic environment to work in, for it was just engineers and designers, and no one to mess us around. There were no salesmen, no advertising people, no marketing managers, to interfere and try to guide us in their direction. We had nothing to do but deduce our own dream product. [1:04:48]Everyday products sell. Although it is harder to improve a mature product, if you succeed there is no need to create a market. Try out current products in your own home, and make a list of things that you don't like about them. I found about 20 things wrong with my Hoover Jr. at the first attempt. [1:07:19]Total control. From the first sprouting of the idea, through research and development, testing and prototyping, model making and engineering drawings, tooling, production, sales and marketing, all the way into the homes, it is most likely to succeed if the original visionary (or mule) sees it right through. [1:11:43]On 2 May 1992, I found myself looking at the first, fully operational, visually perfect, Dyson Dual Cyclone. I was thirty-one years old when I tore the bag off my Hoover and stuck a cereal packet in the hole. 2 May 1992 was my forty-fifth birthday. [1:12:24]We were selling more vacuum cleaners than anyone else despite costing twice as much. [1:14:32]In other words: if you make something, sell it yourself. And so we did. And absolutely nothing went bang. Except, of course, everyone else's market slice. [1:17:57]Encourage employees to be different, on principle. This is part of my anti-brilliance campaign. Very few people can be brilliant. Those who are, rarely do anything worthwhile. You are just as likely to solve a problem by being unconventional and determined as by being brilliant. And if you can't be unconventional, be obtuse. Be deliberately obtuse, because there are 5 billion people out there thinking in train tracks, and thinking what they have been taught to think. [1:21:18]“I have listened to every episode released and look forward to every episode that comes out. The only criticism I would have is that after each podcast I usually want to buy the book because I am interested, so my poor wallet suffers.”— GarethBe like Gareth. Buy a book. It's good for you. From Napoleon Hill and Think and Grow Rich PERSISTENCE THE SUSTAINED EFFORT NECESSARY TO INDUCE FAITH The Eighth Step toward Riches PERSISTENCE is an essential factor in the procedure of transmuting DESIRE into its monetary equivalent. The basis of persistence is the POWER OF WILL. Will-power and desire, when properly combined, make an irresistible pair. Men who accumulate great fortunes are generally known as cold-blooded, and sometimes ruthless. Often they are misunderstood. What they have is will-power, which they mix with persistence, and place back of their desires to insure the attainment of their objectives. Henry Ford has been generally misunderstood to be ruthless and cold-blooded. This misconception grew out of Ford's habit of following through in all of his plans with PERSISTENCE. The majority of people are ready to throw their aims and purposes overboard, and give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune. A few carry on DESPITE all opposition, until they attain their goal. These few are the Fords, Carnegies, Rockefellers, and Edisons. There may be no heroic connotation to the word "persistence," but the quality is to the character of man what carbon is to steel. The building of a fortune, generally, involves the application of the entire thirteen factors of this p. 226 philosophy. These principles must be understood, they must be applied with PERSISTENCE by all who accumulate money. If you are following this book with the intention of applying the knowledge it conveys, your first test as to your PERSISTENCE will come when you begin to follow the six steps described in the second chapter. Unless you are one of the two out of every hundred who already have a DEFINITE GOAL at which you are aiming, and a DEFINITE PLAN for its attainment, you may read the instructions, and then pass on with your daily routine, and never comply with those instructions. The author is checking you up at this point, because lack of persistence is one of the major causes of failure. Moreover, experience with thousands of people has proved that lack of persistence is a weakness common to the majority of men. It is a weakness which may be overcome by effort. The ease with which lack of persistence may be conquered will depend entirely upon the INTENSITY OF ONE'S DESIRE. The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. If you find yourself lacking in persistence, this weakness may be remedied by building a stronger fire under your desires. Continue to read through to the end, then go back to Chapter two, and start immediately to carry out the instructions given in connection with the six steps. The eagerness with which you follow these instructions will indicate clearly, how much, p. 227 or how little you really DESIRE to accumulate money. If you find that you are indifferent, you may be sure that you have not yet acquired the "money consciousness" which you must possess, before you can be sure of accumulating a fortune. Fortunes gravitate to men whose minds have been prepared to "attract" them, just as surely as water gravitates to the ocean. In this book may be found all the stimuli necessary to "attune" any normal mind to the vibrations which will attract the object of one's desires. If you find you are weak in PERSISTENCE, center your attention upon the instructions contained in the chapter on "Power"; surround yourself with a "MASTER MIND" group, and through the cooperative efforts of the members of this group, you can develop persistence. You will find additional instructions for the development of persistence in the chapters on auto-suggestion, and the subconscious mind. Follow the instructions outlined in these chapters until your habit nature hands over to your subconscious mind, a clear picture of the object of your DESIRE. From that point on, you will not be handicapped by lack of persistence. Your subconscious mind works continuously, while you are awake, and while you are asleep.

The modern day Edisons have done their job. We need not wait any longer. We are poised to wake up to a world running completely on renewable energy. Waiting any longer is like saying we shouldn't have used the personal computer in 1985 until the smartphone was invented. In their new book, “All-Electric America,” authors S. DAVID FREEMAN, former utility CEO, and LEAH Y PARKS, a journalist in the electricity industry, explain how making the transition to an all-electric, all renewable society by the year 2050 is necessary, practical, and achievable. An energy infrastructure powered by the sun and wind and running on electricity, for all our energy needs, will be reliable, cleaner, safer, and CHEAPER. It will be superior to the system we have today and will lead to a better future.
