Manic Street Preachers, eða The Manics, búa yfir ótrúlegri breidd í sínu lagasafni. M.a Pönk, Grunge, Popp og Metall. Það eru þó auðvitað ekki öll lögin þeirra góð, en í þessu safni má samt heyra með betri lögum úr hinni Bresku rokksögu, en einnig eru þar lög sem erfitt er að þola. Og ef þú þolir þau, þá verða börnin þín jafnvel næst. Þannig að passið ykkur. En hvort sem þú ert aðdáandi The Manics eða ekki, þá hvet ég þig til að hlusta á þáttinn. Það er alls ekki ósennilegt að Manic Street Preachers verði nýja uppáhalds hljómsveitin þín. Get bonus content on Patreon See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Please also visit Missing People to learn more about searching for people who have disappeared. In 1995, the Manic Street Preachers were planning to embark on a tour of the USA to promote their critically acclaimed and unrelentingly bleak third album, the Holy Bible. As lead singer James Dean Bradfield prepared to fly to America to do a press tour, the band's lyricist and rhythm guitarist, Richey Edwards, checked out of their hotel to never be seen by the band or his family again. What happened to Richey, and what led to a moment that has ascended into the folklore of rock and roll? In this bumper season finale, Matt and AJ are joined by Manics aficionado Shelli Le Fay to discuss the rock star's disappearance. Y0Y is created by Matt Hartless and AJ Hill. On this episode of Mouth-Off we are doing things a bit differently. We have decided to deconstruct the life and career of one of the UK's most beloved pop princesses - or arguably the MOST beloved pop queen - KYLIE MINOGUE. We are doing this episode from the perspectives of 3 queers with one thing in common - our love for Kylie! There's me - Clary Saddler, a lifelong Kylie fan. There is also previous Mouth-Off guest - Makeup artist to the celebs and UBER Kylie fan, Mikey Phillips. We are joined by reflexologist and music enthusiast Jay Hoffman - who describes himself as a "stick or twist" fan (the choice is yours...) We will be dissecting Kylie Minogue's first (of 3!) self-titled album KYLIE, as well as deconstructing what it means to be a GAY ICON. We recorded this episode back in lockdown 2 and have since recorded a similar episode focusing on Kylie's sensational 15th studio album DISCO, which we will be airing some time in spring so watch this space.

Escuchar audio
