Jeff Dornik joins Allan and Corri Hunsperger on Talk Truth to explain why trust in the World Economic Forum and global elites is collapsing as lies, centralized power, and attacks on freedom become impossible to ignore. He breaks down the growing threat of artificial intelligence replacing human work, warns that it fits into a broader agenda against individual rights, and critiques the shift away from defending liberty toward global power politics. Jeff argues that lasting change will not come through politics alone but through a return to the gospel and courageous leadership willing to confront both cultural and spiritual decay.Follow Jeff Dornik on Pickax - https://pickax.com/jeffdornikTune into The Jeff Dornik Show LIVE daily at 1pm ET on Rumble. Every business owner has one thing—the process, problem, or recurring issue that keeps pulling them back into the weeds. In this episode of The Idaho Business Podcast, we talk about why businesses get stuck when everything revolves around the owner—and how clear systems and SOPs are the way out. Not as corporate red tape, but as a leadership tool that creates clarity, accountability, and freedom. We break down why most owners resist SOPs, how micromanagement quietly kills momentum, and what real empowerment actually looks like inside a growing company. You'll learn how to hand things off without losing control, why verification matters more than perfection, and how fixing one system at a time prevents burnout. If you feel like your business can't move without you, this episode will challenge you to identify your "one thing" and finally deal with it—so you can get back to doing what an owner should actually be doing. What if restoring impossible relationships just required knowing what's on the other side? In this episode, Greg Stephens shares how 24 years as a master trainer for Crucial Conversations taught him that breakthroughs aren't permanent until they're practiced over and over. That realization led him to shift from training to coaching, creating a six-month program where executives and emerging leaders have conversations they never thought possible. His specialty? Seeing relationships like some people see music, orchestrating conversations where people show up as their best. Greg also reveals why his mentor Bill Solomon intentionally made his welding job miserable before college, teaching him the resilience he'd need to push through Baylor surrounded by wealthy students. Most powerfully, he explains "emotional accounting": why putting off a Friday conversation until Monday doesn't just ruin your weekend, it costs you exponentially more on the back end. [00:04:44] What Alignment Resources Does Company goal: everyone eats at the trough (trainers train, coaches coach, sales people sell, speakers speak) Greg's specialty lives in areas of difficult relationships, everyone has at least one Works with relationships that seem impossible Application of Crucial Conversations tools for talking when stakes are high [00:05:40] Twenty-Four Years Teaching Crucial Conversations Was master trainer in Crucial Conversations, taught it for 24 years starting in 2001 Before the book was written, it was called "Path to Dialogue" then "Dialogue Smarts" One of first master trainers, stayed until January this year when he released his book Got to travel the world, train on stage, do keynote talks [00:06:00] Why Breakthroughs Need Practice People would take class, have great experience, have aha breakthrough moments Found that breakthroughs aren't permanent until they're practiced over and over If you want permanence around a breakthrough, you've gotta go do something That piece was lacking, so decided to shift business to coaching [00:06:20] The Six Month Coaching Program About six month program, 20 different weeks Teaching executives and emerging leaders (ages 21-28) Wanted to teach younger generation what executives said "I wish I'd learned this 20, 30 years ago" Most people say "I've had a coach before, this is nothing like it" [00:07:00] Building Up and Completing Relationships Build people up in relationships, let them go back and improve, clean up, or complete relationships Complete doesn't mean never see person again (could, but doesn't have to) Can work next to person and have completed relationship around an issue It just doesn't show up for you anymore because you know where you stand, said what you need to say [00:07:40] The Skills Most People Don't Have Coaches and mentors say "you need to go have this conversation," but how? There are skill sets you need, the application of them, and how to make adjustments People talk about psychological safety but don't know how to create it What to do when your emotions take hold or other person's emotions take hold [00:08:20] How to Really Listen When You Disagree How do you begin to really listen when you disagree with everything being said? How do you get on the right topic? Most people don't know how to dissect and break down conversations Greg helps dissect it and break it down for people [00:08:40] Executives on Retainer Some executives don't want to learn all skill sets, just want someone to do it for them Working with groups on retainer where they call when they have big problem They lay out background, what they've done, then Greg lays out plan for conversation Role plays exactly what might happen, clients say "it was like you were right there" [00:10:00] When People Don't Show Up as Their Best Sometimes people have breakdown, don't show up as their best, come back saying "I really blew it" Great learning point, it needed to be this way Limiting belief: thinking it's over when conversation goes badly When you know these skills, you can go back over and over and reset [00:11:20] What Drives Greg Most Watching people restore relationships they thought were just not possible Worked with police captains on issue, individual conversations showed no one thought it could be done Scheduled for four sessions, had breakthrough after first session One person took responsibility for their part, allowed everyone else to take responsibility [00:13:00] It's Still Hard Even With Skills People say "you have the skill, you should be able to do it" Greg still doesn't like having difficult conversations Doesn't want to have the conversation, but wants what's on the other side "Stop looking at the conversation right now. Let's look at what you want beyond that." [00:14:00] Work is Easy, Personal is Hard When working with businesses, always eventually get to their personal lives Those are the much more difficult conversations Work is easy, we all want to make more money and enjoy work Hardest ones are family businesses with so much emotion and unspoken hierarchy [00:16:00] Bill Solomon Changed Everything Gentleman who wrote forward to Greg's book, had heart transplant before writing it Bill told Greg "I'm so glad you asked me to write the forward because I couldn't stop writing" Two months later Bill had book of his own called "Losing Control" (in his seventies) Was the person who pointed Greg toward something more in his life [00:17:20] The Welding Job That Taught Resilience Bill gave Greg job before college as welder's helper (Bill was CFO of company) Told the guys "You're gonna like this guy I'm bringing in, but treat him like crap" "Tear him down every day. Make him feel stupid. You're gonna begin to like him. Make it hard on him." Never told Greg this was happening [00:18:20] Breaking the Golden Handcuffs Wouldn't have business today without Bill Solomon Getting through Baylor, getting great job, then getting out of job and breaking golden handcuffs Starting own business in 1999, none of that would've happened Bill took interest, made it difficult on purpose, said "you're gonna be a great leader one day" [00:21:40] Greg Reynolds Called Every Day After Greg's divorce, Greg Reynolds called him every day for three months All he said was "How you doing today? How you doing today?" One of hardest times Greg ever went through Showed Greg the power of that, he's done same thing for friend of his [00:22:20] Taking Interest in People If you really want to take interest in a person, find out what they're doing every day Every one of these gentlemen shaped how Greg mentors others Having conversations he never would've had, saying what he never would've said Taking interest like Bill Solomon did, being there like his coaches [00:24:40] "What Do You Want to Do?" Woman was looking at situation from the past when she didn't have skills Now she does have skills "Question isn't what they want or what I want to do. It's what do you want to do?" She got quiet: "I want to have the conversation." [00:25:00] Over 20 Resets to Stay on Track They practiced again, she went and had conversation Wrote amazing email about how each time she had to stop herself and come back Get conversation back on track by sharing your best intent Had to do that more than 20 times [00:28:20] Investing Upfront vs. Costing on Back End If you add skillset and knew how to address it, you'd say "I'm not wasting my weekend" Have conversation, no matter what outcome, it's out of you Have entire weekend to problem solve whatever that was and learn about what you did Used time wisely by investing upfront rather than it costing you on back end [00:31:40] Marcus Newcomb Connection Marcus Newcomb is special person, they hit it off Greg has gotten to meet so many great people networking and marketing his book Kevin is "the real deal" KEY QUOTES "Breakthroughs aren't permanent until they're practiced over and over. What does it really mean to keep humans at the center of AI when agentic systems are accelerating faster than most organizations can govern them? At AWS re:Invent, I sat down with Michael Bachman from Boomi for a wide-ranging conversation that cut through the hype and focused on the harder questions many leaders are quietly asking. Michael leads technical and market research at Boomi, spending his time looking five to ten years ahead and translating future signals into decisions companies need to make today. That long view shaped a thoughtful discussion on human-centric AI, trust versus autonomy, and why governance can no longer be treated as an afterthought. As businesses rush toward agentic AI, swarms of autonomous systems, and large-scale automation, Michael shared why this moment makes him both optimistic and cautious. He explained why security, legal, and governance teams must be involved early, not retrofitted later, and why observability and sovereignty will become non-negotiable as agents move from experimentation into production. With tens of thousands of agents already deployed through Boomi, the stakes are rising quickly, and organizations that ignore guardrails today may struggle to regain control tomorrow. We also explored one of the biggest paradoxes of the AI era. The more capable these systems become, the more important human judgment and critical thinking are. Michael unpacked what it means to stay in the loop or on the loop, how trust in agentic systems should scale gradually, and why replacing human workers outright is often a short-term mindset that creates long-term risk. Instead, he argued that the real opportunity lies in amplifying human capability, enabling smaller teams to achieve outcomes that were previously out of reach. Looking further ahead, the conversation turned to the limits of large language models, the likelihood of an AI research reset, and why future breakthroughs may come from hybrid approaches that combine probabilistic models, symbolic reasoning, and new hardware architectures. Michael also reflected on how AI is changing how we search, learn, and think, and why fact-checking, creativity, and cognitive discipline matter more than ever as AI assistants become embedded in daily life. This episode offers a grounded, future-facing perspective on where AI is heading, why integration platforms are becoming connective tissue for modern systems, and how leaders can approach the next few years with both ambition and responsibility. The feeling of losing control… I know it all too well. Having struggled with OCD, it was a massive part of my journey. But it also comes up in everyday life—we feel like we are losing our grip, so we try to control things from the outside by taking action… out of panic… out of a lack of control. But what if, in reality, trying to control something is actually causing you to lose even more control? Have you ever thought about that? Because when we feel like we are losing control, we actually haven't lost control at all—since we are literally creating everything around us. It's simply a perspective shift that we need to make and a reconnection to how we create without trying to control. So let's dive into this inside today's episode! Tony's story is a whirlwind of loss, chaos, identity struggles, and years spent chasing anything that would make him feel whole. Growing up without a father, he searched for belonging everywhere except within himself. That search eventually pulled him into a fast-moving lifestyle that brought consequences, arrests, and years of feeling stuck in a cycle he couldn't escape.Everything changed when a moment in detox — triggered by a story on TV — cracked him open and forced him to confront the life he'd built. That spark became surrender, and surrender became a complete transformation. Tony rebuilt his life from the ground up: he found purpose, lost over 100 pounds, restored his driver's license after 15 years, and today he works at the CCAR New Haven Recovery Community Center, helping others find the hope he once needed. His story is proof that discipline, purpose, and community can pull anyone out of the darkest places — and into a life they never believed they deserved.0:00 — Introductions0:24 — Growing Up Without a Father1:02 — Early Behaviors & Searching for Belonging2:20 — First Experiences With Substances3:10 — Feeling “Not Enough” as a Kid4:12 — Losing Control in Young Adulthood5:07 — Slipping Into a Dangerous Lifestyle6:05 — Trouble, Consequences & Prison Time7:20 — The Cycle of Relapse8:32 — The Breaking Point9:43 — Spiritual Awakening in Detox10:58 — Starting Over at Davenport House12:18 — Beginning His Fitness Journey13:12 — Losing 100 Pounds14:10 — Food, Obsession & Filling the Void15:22 — Finding Purpose at CCAR16:30 — Coaching Others in Recovery17:50 — Living With Hope & Discipline18:45 — Gratitude, Growth & Becoming a Better Man20:00 — Rebuilding His Life Step by Step22:00 — Getting His License Back After 15 Years23:40 — Working, Volunteering & Relearning Life25:00 — Big Wins & Small Steps Forward26:40 — Advice for Someone in Their First 24 Hours ----Across the Web----

Pro-Iran Militias Dominate Iraqi Elections; Iran Losing Control of Houthis — John Batchelor, Thaddeus Martin, Malcolm Hoenlein — Batchelor reports that pro-Iran militias and their political front organizations consolidated unprecedented power in Iraq's recent election, generating concern among American officials regarding Iranian regional influence expansion. Martin documents a counterintuitive development: Iran appears to be losing operational control over the Houthis in Yemen, its most strategically critical proxy force in the region. Hoenlein concludes with positive news regarding the Bene Manasseh, descendants of the ancient lost Israelite tribe, returning to Israel and establishing community and cultural presence.

Investigative reporters Taya Graham and Stephen Janis go to Capitol Hill to speak with Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie, who co-sponsored the Epstein Transparency Act. Many of the women who survived Epstein's abuse and human trafficking ring share their experiences and their determination to receive justice. Now that the bill has passed both Houses, the Department of Justice is obligated to share with the public thousands of previously secret documents, emails, and photos. Although many critics are concerned that redactions will make these documents ineffectual in exposing the predators and predator protectors, there is still hope that these women will finally be able to reveal the corruption that has survived multiple presidential administrations. We discuss four reasons why the Epstein files may be the beginning of the end for the unchecked power of these elites, or "Epstein class." With Congress compelling the DOJ to reveal Epstein's secret files, the protective wall around America's most powerful men is finally beginning to crumble. This moment could be the first genuine challenge to the impunity enjoyed by the country's wealthiest predators.Credits:Produced by Stephen Janis and Taya GrahamWritten by Stephen JanisPost-Production by Stephen Janis Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-real-news-podcast--2952221/support.Help us continue producing radically independent news and in-depth analysis by following us and becoming a monthly sustainer.Follow us on:Bluesky: @therealnews.comFacebook: The Real News NetworkTwitter: @TheRealNewsYouTube: @therealnewsInstagram: @therealnewsnetworkBecome a member and join the Supporters Club for The Real News Podcast today!

Join the Growth Letter for weekly strategic perspectives on sustainable business growth - https://www.darrellevans.net/subscribeIn this final episode of the series, I tackle the most expensive problem successful founders face - and it's not what you think. After 14 years working with businesses doing $1M to $20M+ in revenue, I've watched brilliant founders become prisoners of their own expertise. Your team's sharp, your processes are solid, but clients still only want to talk to you. I break down why this isn't a delegation problem or a hiring problem - it's an infrastructure problem. I reveal the three specific conditions that allow trust to scale systematically beyond you, including the one layer most founders completely miss (it's the most complicated, and I still struggle with it myself). If you've ever thought "I'm trapped by my own reputation," or your team keeps running decisions back to you that they should make themselves, this episode shows you exactly why that's happening and what actually fixes it. No guru tactics - just the proven system that transfers judgment, not just tasks.Join the Growth Letter for weekly strategic perspectives on sustainable business growth - https://www.darrellevans.net/subscribe No tactics. No trends. Just clear thinking on what actually works from three decades of working with $1M+ businesses that have outgrown tactics but need strategic clarity.

What happens when two world-class musicians decide to take full creative control and make the music they've always envisioned? In this episode of Caught on the Mike, host Mike welcomes Jimmy McGorman and Robb Vallier — the duo behind Flight To London — to talk about their debut album, Instructions for Losing Control. After years of writing and producing for artists like Goo Goo Dolls, Avril Lavigne, Gin Blossoms, and Sabrina Carpenter, McGorman and Vallier reunite to create something that's entirely their own: a lush, synth-driven exploration they call “NEW-stalgia.” They dive into the inspirations behind the project, the beauty of creative freedom, and how frustration became the spark for their most personal music yet. From vintage analog warmth to digital precision — this conversation captures the sound, soul, and story of Flight To London.
You know that moment when you're sure you're going to let someone else handle it, and five minutes later, you're doing it yourself? This episode is for you. Mischelle O'Neal breaks down what's really hiding behind that reflex to manage everything. It's not perfectionism, it's protection. You'll learn how the brain confuses control with safety, why letting go feels physically uncomfortable, and how to start creating calm without constantly tightening your grip. This isn't about doing less. It's about finally understanding the system that's been running you, and realizing you can rewrite it. If you've ever wondered why rest feels like risk, you'll want to listen all the way through.
In this episode of the Soul Fusion Podcast, Penny is joined again by Tina for a powerful conversation about how subconscious fear of losing control leads high-achieving entrepreneurs straight into burnout. Whether you're running a multi-7-figure business or just beginning to feel overwhelmed by complexity, this episode offers a wake-up call—and a path toward simplification, freedom, and true energetic expansion. From inboxes flooded with 155 emails from the same person to business owners who can't take a breath without fearing collapse, Penny and Tina break down what's really running the show (hint: it's not your to-do list). You'll hear real stories from high net worth clients, explore the nervous system's role in emotional control, and discover how to shift from fear-based contraction into intuitive expansion. If you've ever believed that working harder or controlling more would solve the problem… this episode is the one that helps you break the cycle.
On today's episode, Dr. Mark Costes is joined by systems expert and author David Jenyns for a deep dive into the power of systemization, culture, and AI in modern dental practices. David shares his journey from overworked agency owner to founder of Systemology and creator of the new book Systems Champion, a practical guide for empowering the team member who will drive systems forward. The two discuss how to eliminate complexity, reduce resistance from long-time staff, and build a systems culture that makes practices more profitable, predictable, and less dependent on the owner. Plus, David shares real-life applications of AI—from process documentation to patient communication—and how small businesses can adapt quickly. This is a must-listen for dentists looking to grow, scale, and reclaim their time without losing operational excellence. Be sure to check out the full episode from the Dentalpreneur Podcast! Own users, data, or order flow.B.O.T. framework:Bottlenecks — Find scarce inputs (power near substations, HIPAA-grade data, specialized trades), professionalize small operators, exit to strategics.Order Flow — Aggregate fragmented brokers (freight, dirt hauling, niche staffing), add AI matching, monetize spread & float.Tools — Bundle niche AI/DevOps tools (monitoring, RLHF QA, rights mgmt.) into suites; sell shovels for the gold rush.Ethics & risk: Bottlenecks ≠ monopolies; add real value or get routed around. Order-flow plays invite regulatory heat—design accordingly.Luck favors the paranoid: Nvidia's rise = timing + category choice. Choose your competitor carefully; it defines your playing field.Episode Highlights00:00 – Cold open: dentists, numb faces, and a record-breaking Forbes 400.03:10 – The stat no one's talking about: 71% self-made, $6.6T total wealth, $3.8B cutoff.08:20 – Why opportunity has more leverage than ever (AI + democratized tools), but tech alone won't save you.12:45 – B is for Bottlenecks: picks & shovels thinking; mini-moats in permits, medical transcripts, underground tank installers for data centers.22:10 – Ethics check: bottlenecks vs. monopolies; how to add value without getting regulated to death.27:05 – O is for Order Flow: Robinhood's play, freight/dirt broker roll-ups, AI pricing/matching, monetizing spread & float.36:40 – The toll-booth trap: if you don't add value, the sides will route around you.41:30 – T is for Tools: why toolmakers outlive trends; bundling niche AI devtools; the Nvidia, Intel, AMD cautionary tales.53:10 – Choosing competitors = choosing categories; luck + timing still matter.57:45 – Operator wrap: how to map your business to B.O.T. this quarter.Memorable Quotes“If all you are is a feature, you don't have a business—you have a countdown clock.”“Quiet wealth lives in the choke points everyone else ignores.”“Bottlenecks aren't monopolies—create value or the market will route around you.”“Tech isn't a moat.
