Sid and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman employ aggressive rhetoric to critique the leadership of New York Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Mamdani, accusing them of fiscal irresponsibility and alignment with radical interests. Blakeman, who is positioning himself for a gubernatorial run, argues that the current administration's policies on cashless bail and migration have compromised public safety and burdened the middle class with unfair taxes. The conversation shifts to a defense of their controversial language, where they distinguish between moderate Muslims who embrace American values and those they label as radicals or anti-American. Together, Stéphanie Rousselle and Abdu Murray explore some of today's most pressing concerns surrounding identity, truth, and technology—offering a Christian worldview on navigating these cultural shifts. At the heart of this conversation are two concepts Abdu Murray terms “bioclasm” and “AI mania”:Bioclasm is a cultural movement that, much like the "iconoclast," seeks to smash the traditional pillars of biological identity—such as gender and humanity itself—and reconstruct reality based on feelings and preferences, rather than facts. It is rooted in a post-truth culture, where personal feelings often outweigh objective truth.AI Mania refers to the society-wide rush to embrace artificial intelligence and technology without critical thought. Abdu Murray is careful to distinguish healthy technological use from unchecked enthusiasm, warning that overreliance on AI can blur boundaries between machine and human, making us question what it means to be truly human.Together, these movements lead to a "collapse of reality," where personal perception threatens to override the givenness of biological and moral truths.Navigating the tsunamis of bioclasm and AI mania requires discernment, compassion, and a return to the ultimate source of truth. The Christian hope is not in technological transcendence or personal autonomy, but in the God who creates, redeems, and sustains our true identity.Abdu Murray explains transhumanism as the ambition to overcome human limitations (including death) by merging with machines or uploading consciousness to digital forms. While proponents of this vision believe it offers hope for immortality, Abdu Murray points out its weaknesses—especially that all physical systems eventually succumb to entropy, or decay, and that technological "immortality" is a myth. True creativity, meaning, and relationship cannot be distilled into data or algorithms.Underneath the drive for identity autonomy (being your own authority) and technological transcendence is a deep longing for meaning, stability, and transcendence—what the Bible describes as being made in the image of God. The Christian faith urges us to find our core identity not in fleeting markers or technological advancements, but in relationship with our Creator.Abdu Murray draws parallels between today's quests for sovereignty and the biblical stories of Eden and Babel: humanity's attempts to become ‘like God' on their own terms have always resulted in loss, not gain. The hope, he says, lies in returning to the thick, robust understanding of what it is to be human: a living soul, created and loved by God.So, how can we engage culture with both conviction and compassion? Abdu challenges believers to answer each person, not just their arguments, and to see every conversation as an opportunity to remind others (and ourselves) of our true worth and purpose—anchored in God, the unchanging source of truth and identity.MORE ABOUT ABDU MURRAYAbdu Murray speaks internationally about the intersection of Christian faith and the questions of culture. He is the author of several books, including Saving Truth, Grand Central Question, and More Than a White Man's Religion. For most of his life, Abdu was a proud Muslim until a nine-year historical, theological, and scientific investigation pointed him to the Christian faith. Abdu lives in the Metro Detroit area with his wife, Nicole, and their three children.MORE ABOUT “FAKE ID”This groundbreaking exposé of how artificial intelligence and gender ideology undermine our view of reality helps us cut through the chaos and find the hope we're looking for.We hear that technology will set us free and that identity is whatever we choose. What we're not being told is how these promises unravel reality itself, leaving us restless and confused in a world where we can no longer tell what is true.Christian thought leader Abdu Murray shows us how the ancient, yet timeless wisdom of Scripture anchors us to transcendent truth as we navigate today's cultural tsunamis. This fascinating book empowers us to:Think critically and ethically about AI and gender identityUnderstand why we are neither biochemical machines nor gods of our own makingDiscern what is real apart from cultural influence and pressureBe who God calls us to be rather than who culture tells us to beApply biblical truth to our understanding of what it means to be humanA compassionate guide to finding scientific and moral clarity, Fake ID equips us to think clearly, love deeply, and live with unshakeable hope.Support us on Gospel Spice, PayPal and Venmo!

Today Allie responds to CNN's new documentary on “Christian nationalism,” arguing that what's being labeled as dangerous extremism is often just historic, biblical Christianity applied to culture, law, and education. She also contrasts the Christian view of the imago Dei, where every person has innate worth, with practices like infanticide, abortion, and gendercide around the world. Allie responds to John Piper's tweet on immigration and gives a biblical perspective on the matter. Allie gives examples of practices in the Muslim world that are being imported by winsome Christians at their own peril. Today on Joe Oltmann Untamed, we're unpacking the deliberate transformation of America that started with the 1965 Hart-Celler Act and never stopped. What was once a 90% white, overwhelmingly Christian nation has been reshaped through open borders, asylum loopholes, and mass migration 53 million foreign-born in the last year alone while business elites chase cheap labor and ideologues push to fundamentally remake our culture. The consequences are everywhere: churches sold off and turned into mosques, public streets in New York and Philadelphia filled with mass prayers that would shut down any Christian gathering, and schools quietly accommodating Ramadan while sidelining American traditions.Europe is the warning sign we can't ignore Portugal's streets packed with starving crowds waiting to break fast, Sweden facing an Afrocentric rape epidemic, and 50 million Muslims now living there compared to just 500,000 three decades ago. Here at home, we see the same pattern: forced multiculturalism eroding our identity, with politicians selling out the American people for votes and profit. Borders, language, and culture are under siege, and the people who promised to protect them are either complicit or asleep at the wheel. This episode is a no-holds-barred wake-up call for every American who still believes in the country we inherited. From the demographic shift that's rewriting our future to the cultural takeover playing out in real time, we're laying out the facts and connecting the dots so you can see what's really happening and what we lose if we don't fight back. Tune in for the raw truth, no apologies, and the urgency to reclaim our nation before it's gone for good. You won't walk away unchanged.
For twenty years, I've investigated a crime almost too horrific to name—now documented in my new book: “Killed to Order: China's Organ Harvesting Industry and the True Nature of America's Biggest Adversary.”In America and other free countries, patients wait months or even years for an organ. But in China, transplant wait lists are measured in weeks—or even days.In this episode, the tables are turned, and I'm in the guest seat this time.I invited my good friend, actor and comedian Rob Schneider, who has become deeply personally invested in this issue, to be the guest host for this special episode. This is the dark reality: When someone decides to go to China and pay a hefty sum for a scheduled transplant, then on the other side, an incarcerated prisoner of conscience, who has already been blood-typed and tissue-typed, is likely being killed to order.China's transplant industry began its exponential expansion at the exact same time as the state launched its aggressive, nationwide campaign to eradicate the spiritual practice of Falun Gong. There is growing evidence of Uyghurs being targeted as well. There is even an underground global market for what are called “Halal organs,” which means organs from Muslim donors. And it's not just wealthy foreigners who travel to China for organ transplants.China's super elite have access to a secretive longevity program dubbed “Project 981” with eerie ties to this macabre organ industry. This project entered the spotlight last year after the revealing hot mic exchange between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, where they talked about extending lifespans in part through repeated organ transplants.American institutions have, wittingly or unwittingly, helped facilitate the rise of China's transplant system through partnerships with Chinese transplant centers, the training of hundreds of Chinese surgeons, and the supply of China's organ preservation solutions, surgical instruments, immunosuppressive drugs, and transplant diagnostics. The stories I share in this episode are disturbing, but we cannot afford to look away.Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and the guest, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times.

Survivor to Thriver Show: Transform Your Fear Into Freedom with Samia Bano
Acts of worship like prayer and fasting are meant to bring us closer to the divine. But for many of us they can cause stress, guilt, shame, even fear, for example when you miss a prayer and think you'll go to hell because it is a grave sin to have missed the prayer...What if such fear, stress, guilt, and shame are actually blocking us from feeling closer to God? This episode dives into how shifting from anxiety-driven worship to love-centered #devotion transforms our #worshipexperience and fills our lives with happiness. We explore what it means that we were created to #worship God (as stated in the Quran, the Holy Scripture of the Muslims). This episode reframes worship as adoration—the highest form of love—and invites us to consciously deepen our #lovingrelationship with God.NOTE: This episode is a recording of a live that Samia did during #Ramadan2026. #Ramadan is the Muslim month of fasting. Hi friends! This week we are joined by the charming Ahmad Saber to talk about his new book Ramin Abbas Has MAJOR Questions coming out this week! We're talk about the complications with being queer and Muslim, Catholic and a fan of the Tony wining broadway show WICKED! And much more! Theme by Man with Roses Book description below: Ramin Abbas has spent his whole life obeying his parents, his Imam, and, of course, Allah—no questions asked. But when he starts crushing on the ridiculously handsome captain of the soccer team, so many things he'd always been so sure about are becoming questions: 1. Music is haram. But what if the Wicked soundtrack is the only thing keeping you sane because you're being forced to play on the soccer team? With Captain Handsome?! 2. A boy crush is double haram, and Ramin's parents will never accept it. But can he really be the only Muslim on Earth who feels this way? 3. Allah is merciful and makes no mistakes. Then isn't Ramin just the way Allah intended him to be? And so why should living your truth but losing everything—or living a lie and losing yourself—have to be a choice?!

In this episode of Journey of Hope, host Elio Constantine continues the mini-series with Bishop Dr. Yasser Eric in a powerful and thought-provoking conversation on “Understanding Political Islam and the Fear Narrative.” Together, they unpack one of the most complex and often misunderstood topics shaping global conversations today.Drawing from his personal journey—from being raised as a radical Sunni Muslim in Sudan to becoming a follower of Christ and now a bishop serving a global movement—Dr. Eric offers deep insight into the distinction between Islam as a faith and political Islam as an ideology. He addresses the roots of fear often associated with Islam and challenges listeners to move beyond generalizations toward informed, Christ-centered understanding.Throughout the episode, the conversation explores how fear can distort perception, hinder action, and prevent meaningful engagement. Dr. Eric explains how political Islam merges religion and state, the implications of Sharia law, and how extremist ideologies impact both Muslims and non-Muslims—highlighting that many of the primary victims are Muslims themselves. The discussion also sheds light on the reality of the persecuted Church in regions governed by strict religious laws, where believers often worship in secrecy and face immense cost for their faith. Yet, in the midst of suffering, there is resilience, growth, and a powerful testimony of unwavering faith. This episode is both eye-opening and deeply convicting, calling believers—especially in the West—to move from fear to faith, from comfort to conviction, and from passivity to prayerful action. It reminds us that following Christ has always come with a cost, and that there is much to learn from those who faithfully endure persecution. Greg Jenner is joined in medieval England by Professor Marion Turner and comedian Mike Wozniak to learn all about Geoffrey Chaucer, author of the Canterbury Tales. Since the fifteenth century, Chaucer has been referred to as the father of English literature. He was one of the first authors to champion the use of Middle English for poetry instead of Latin, and after the invention of the printing press, his works became the foundation of the English literary canon – long before Shakespeare ever put quill to parchment. But Chaucer's life was as extraordinary as his legacy, living as he did through the Black Death, the Hundred Years' War between England and France, and the Peasants' Revolt. In this episode, Greg and his guests explore Chaucer's dramatic biography: growing up the son of a wine merchant in fourteenth-century London, his work for the royal court and long career as a medieval civil servant, his relationship with John of Gaunt through his mistress Katherine Swynford, and his travels throughout Europe. They also examine the poets that influenced him – including Petrarch, Bocaccio and Dante – and take a deep dive into the famous Canterbury Tales. If you're a fan of medieval literature, historical courtroom dramas, and the tumult of fourteenth-century England, you'll love our episode on Geoffrey Chaucer. If you want more literary history with Mike Wozniak, listen to our episodes on Charles Dickens at Christmas and the Legends of King Arthur. And for more fourteenth-century lives, check out our episode on medieval Muslim traveller Ibn Battuta. You're Dead To Me is the comedy podcast that takes history seriously. Welcome to The Times of Israel's Lazar Focus. Each Friday, join host diplomatic correspondent Lazar Berman for a deep dive into what's behind the news that spins the globe. There is a religious community in Israel dedicated to spreading peace throughout the country and beyond. Days after October 7, this community opened its doors for hundreds of Israelis from diverse backgrounds, stressing the importance of maintaining peaceful dialogue between ethnic and religious groups. That community is Muslim. The Ahmadiyya number only around 2,000 in Israel, but are part of a global community of some 20 million. In today's Lazar Focus, Imam Imad Al Masri, a Jordanian cleric living in Haifa, explains the origins of his sect and makes an impassioned case for the Ahmadiyya vision for spreading peace around the world. As he marks the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, he discusses the community's outreach in Palestinian areas, including in the Gaza Strip under Hamas rule and during the recent war there. Al Masri recounts the reaction of the Ahmadiyya community to the October 7, 2023, attacks and how they dealt with initial suspicions from their Jewish neighbors. As Israel maintains a shaky ceasefire in Gaza and prepares for a possible war with Iran, the Ahmadiyya present an unwavering call for peace that many find refreshing and uplifting. Today, I sit down with an anonymous Christian scholar living in a predominantly Muslim context where openly following Christ can be life-threatening. Because of active persecution, our guest appears without revealing identifying details. Today, he'll talk about his doctoral research, focused on the most important Muslim convert to Christianity, and explores the historical roots of modern Christian-Muslim engagement especially the often-overlooked Urdu apologetics tradition. What unsettles me is how quickly everything is being filtered through loyalty tests. As if Indian Muslims must think one way, Indian Hindus another. Where does this end?
According to Professor Hannah Fry, people's lives are enriched by artificial intelligence. It makes problem-solving easier, helps medical diagnosis, and can improve productivity. Yet as she points out in her new BBC2 documentary, AI Confidential, there are risks: that jobs will be lost to AI; that we might lose the bedside care that comes with human diagnosis as machine intelligence takes over. She also warns AI provides what she calls emotional junk food that demands nothing of us, by offering AI romantic partners. And then there's tech grief, highlighted in a recent EastEnders storyline, when video and voice notes are used to create an avatar of a dead character to console his father. Real mourning is put on hold. But it seems to me there's another risky aspect of AI – that it rewrites temptation. Temptation is traditionally thought to be about testing will-power. Take Lent and Ramadan, currently being observed by Christians and Muslims. If a Muslim fasting all day has a little snack at lunchtime, or a Christian giving up sweets for Lent, eats chocolate, they've failed in their discipline. But AI is a different, and remarkable tempter, encouraging people not to fail in some way but take the easier option that in some ways seems sensible. Why read a book, for example, when AI can give you a quick summary, or make the effort to cook for dinner guests when AI can help locate a fancy restaurant in seconds and order a takeaway. And instead of the regret that comes from conventional temptation, AI offers something else. It's all too easy to console yourself that you have done something good. You've saved time. The easy option has advantages. The Desert Fathers – early Christian thinkers who retreated to the desert – did so because they believed a hard life was good for them. They believed it brought them closer to God. And with temptation, even if you give in to it but then regret it you can grow as a person by learning something about yourself. Pope Leo who has expressed concern about the impact of AI on humanity has now urged priests to resist the temptation to use the short cut of AI to write sermons. AI might be clever, but there's something lacking in AI preaching: it doesn't come from the heart. Perhaps this Lent and Ramadan, it might be worth not only giving up something that tests our will, but pondering something that appears helpful yet is temptation on another scale, reducing our need to think. After all, as Descartes said, I think, therefore I am. What am I, if machines have seduced me to do so much less thinking for myself?

HAPPY THURSDAY COUSINS!!!We've just completed 1 week of Ramadan alhamdulillah! We'd love to hear how the first week has gone for all of you...let us know in the comments section below! This week, we talked about feeling unmotivated during Ramadan and how to get out of that 'funk' and maximize your time while you still can - can any of you relate? Next, we spoke about the Ramadan content that usually pops up this time of year and whether we think the big social media sites have started to subtly suppress it and distract us with other things like MONKEYS...speaking of, I know yall have heard about poor little Punch in the Japanese zoo that has stole the heart of millions around the world lol. Suhoorfest is back and as usual, people are still denouncing it, however this year we have a new perspective from a newer Muslim who shared that she was looking forward to this festival because it gave her an opportunity to be around other Muslims and have easy access to Halal food...maybe we should be a little less judgey and a liiiittle more inviting of our newer Muslim brothers and sisters, just a suggestion!Lastly...we're doing a 10K in a few months...wish us luck lol, we're definitely going to need it! You know what to do...grab your snacks, turn us all the way up while you clean, chill, or drive, and hang out with us like always. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, lots of Democrats are boycotting the State of the Union address. The truth is they'd be more comfortable sitting in UN seats listening to some Marxist or Islamist dictator spewing hate about our country. This is a party that accepts no traditions or customs. The Democrat Party is radical and intent on destroying the economy, citizenship, and national sovereignty. They want to dismantle the American system through policies like open borders, no deportations, treating illegal aliens as citizens, and eliminating voter ID. Also, Tucker Carlson is an evil traitor. He's stabbing the president in the back to foreign countries and undermining our country and our military. He's promoting anti-Israel, anti-Semitic propaganda in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, defending Sharia law and Islam while attacking Christians and Jews, and giving aid to enemies amid potential war with Iran. Later, secularists, Marxists, and Democrats hypocritically enforce strict separation of church and state, which has banned displays of the Ten Commandments and even silent prayer in schools while expunging Christian influences from classrooms. In contrast, over the last 10–15 years, Islamists have gained influence, with schools distributing Qurans, Sharia law materials, and allowing Muslim prayers. The core problem is weakness among American institutions and ruling class figures who are intimidated, frightened, or sympathetic believers. Islamists exploit the federalist system's local sovereignty by heavily organizing and attending meetings to push their agenda, while Democrats view them as a new voting constituency. Finally, Tommy Robinson calls in with a warning to America – don't make the same mistake Britain, Germany or France did. Robinson describes his personal experience growing up in a town 30 miles north of London, where the Muslim population has dramatically increased since his birth in 1982 turning White English people into a minority. He warns that mass immigration from Muslim-majority countries has planted similar destructive seeds in America. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Muslims around the world are celebrating the holy month of Ramadan. But for immigrant communities in the U.S., those celebrations are being tempered by fears of ICE. *** Thank you for listening. Help power On Point by making a donation here: wbur.org/giveonpoint
Today on Joe Oltmann Untamed, Patrick is taking the reins to lay out the hard truth: a Palestinian Islamic scholar in Chicago just spelled it out open borders and asylum programs have been weaponized, letting in millions not just to work, but to exploit the system, commit fraud, and spread ideologies that clash with American values. We're seeing the fallout right here: schools quietly setting up Muslim prayer rooms during Ramadan, Texas districts handing out Sharia pamphlets, hijabs, and Qurans for “World Hijab Day,” and kids chanting anti-American slogans while staff look the other way. Separation of church and state? Apparently it only applies when it's Christianity. The chaos isn't stopping at the borders. We've got students beaten for holding Trump flags during anti-ICE walkouts, trans activists openly calling for violence until they get their way, and schools losing thousands of kids because parents are pulling them from indoctrination camps. This isn't random; it's deliberate infiltration and cultural replacement, and too many leaders are either complicit or willfully blind. This episode is a wake-up call for every parent, taxpayer, and patriot who's had enough of the double standards and the slow erosion of our way of life. From Muslim prayer groups in public schools to violent attacks on conservative kids, we're connecting the dots on how open borders, radical ideologies, and institutional cowardice are reshaping America and what happens if we don't fight back. Tune in for the unfiltered truth and the hard questions no one else wants to ask.

For more than a decade, Matt Rhodes has been a church planter in unreached Muslim countries. In that time, he’s risked illness, difficult living conditions, and physical danger. He’s also stood with new believers who were attacked for their faith in Jesus. Scripture tells Christians to expect trials in life. For missionaries, knowing God’s good purpose for pain is essential for enduring harsh conditions on the field. On this episode of Crosspolitic at AmFest 2025, Knox, Toby, and Gabe welcome Shahrig and Pastor Greg from Christ Underground on to talk about the issue of reaching Muslims with the gospel and why they believe starting with the Old Testament rather than jumping straight to Jesus is the most effective way to undermine the authority of the Quran and lead Muslims to faith in Christ.
