I've been navigating a big transition, and in the process, I've created new resources I'm eager to share with you.I'm also sharing a fresh way to work together, and a free resource that I've designed to help you build confidence in your creative process. And—there's something else I've been working on behind the scenes, something I think could truly support you in your creative journey. :)About mePascale Côté is a creativity coach, artist, and writer who helps creatives meet, understand, and express themselves by guiding them to work *with* their (creative, complex, unconventional) nature instead of against it. She helps clients break free from the vortex of overthinking and move forward with their bold, rebellious ideas. Her work challenges conventional norms, inviting creatives to explore what's possible when they release outdated narratives and embrace their true, authentic expression. Pascale believes that art is a powerful vehicle for both individual and collective change when it's grounded in truth—created outside the rigid systems that stifle our creative spirit.About the podcastCreative minds are the architects of a new world, and their art holds the keys to reimagining our reality. The challenge is, creative minds often spend just as much time crafting self-limiting narratives as they do creating their art. Dear Creative Mind is a space for creative liberation—a pathway out of the cycle of overthinking, burnout, and stagnation. This podcast is for artists & creative entrepreneurs where Pascale, creativity coach, shares grounding meditations, gentle coaching guidance and heartfelt conversations with inspiring artists. The podcast explores the real challenges that come with being creative—overthinking, self-doubt, burnout—and how to navigate them while staying true to our vision. Interview with Mark Selby, CEO of Canada NickelOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/canada-nickel-tsxvcnc-nickel-mega-district-opens-up-us-markets-5401Recording date: 17th July 2024Canada Nickel Company (TSX-V: CNC) is rapidly emerging as a key player in the global nickel market, strategically positioned to meet the growing demand for responsibly sourced battery materials. The company is advancing its flagship Crawford Nickel project while simultaneously unlocking the potential of the broader Timmins Nickel District in Ontario, Canada. The company recently announced a significant milestone with the release of its maiden resource estimate for the Deloro property, marking the first of seven additional resources expected by Q1 2025. This expansion strategy underscores Canada Nickel's vision to establish Timmins as a world-class nickel sulfide district, with a land package covering approximately ten times the geophysical footprint of Crawford.Crawford itself is already considered one of the world's largest undeveloped nickel sulfide deposits. The project is progressing through Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), optimizing its development plan and preparing for long-lead equipment orders. Permitting is advancing, with federal approvals anticipated by mid-2025, aligning with the company's target for a construction decision.Recent market dynamics have created a favorable backdrop for Canada Nickel's projects. BHP's decision to shut down its Western Australia nickel operations until at least 2027 has significant implications for global supply. Combined with geopolitical constraints on Russian and Chinese production, this leaves a substantial gap in the nickel sulfide market that Crawford and Canada Nickel's other projects are well-positioned to fill. The company is pursuing an innovative financing strategy to minimize dilution at the parent company level while securing necessary capital. This approach includes targeting project-level equity, leveraging Canadian government incentives for critical minerals and carbon capture, and exploring strategic partnerships. CEO Selby emphasizes the unique opportunity presented by current market conditions and government support for critical minerals development.Canada Nickel's focus on producing "clean, green nickel" aligns with growing demands for environmentally responsible mining practices. The company's ultramafic deposits have the added benefit of natural carbon sequestration properties, potentially offering a significant competitive advantage in the evolving battery supply chain.Investors should be aware of several potential catalysts over the next 12-18 months, including additional resource estimates from regional properties, advancement of Crawford engineering, progress on permitting milestones, and potential announcements related to project financing and strategic partnerships. While challenges remain in terms of project execution and market volatility, Canada Nickel's strategic approach to developing a world-class nickel district in a stable jurisdiction creates a compelling value proposition. As the electric vehicle revolution drives demand for battery materials, the company's focus on responsible nickel production could prove increasingly attractive to both investors and end-users.For investors considering exposure to the critical minerals sector, Canada Nickel offers a unique opportunity to participate in the development of a potentially transformative nickel supply source. However, as with any pre-production mining company, thorough due diligence is essential, and investors should carefully consider their risk tolerance when evaluating an investment in Canada Nickel.—View Canada Nickel's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/canada-nickelSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

My friend Jana Spangler (Certified Integral Profession Coach at Symmetry Solutions, alumnus of The Living School, Latter-day Saint) joins us to talk about stages of faith using Brian McLaren's 4-stage model of simplicity, complexity, perplexity, and harmony. This is a powerful model to understand the various roads Latter-day Saints are walking. Jana—a sought-after speaker, presenter, retreat leader and podcast guest on this subject—has many years of experience in this space from both her personal journey, professional work, and academic experience to give Latter-day Saints tools and vocabulary to understand a faith transition within themselves and provide better support to others. Jana is someone I consider an expert in this field for Latter-day Saints. Her work helped me in my own journey during my faith transition as I desired to stay a committed Latter-day Saint and needed more tools, principals, and perspective. Thank you, Jana, for your wonderful/needed work in our community to bring us together, reduce tension, and help us be more united. My friend and former elementary school teacher, Kirsten Tulsian, found herself sitting on the floor of her classroom one night with her head in her hands and breaking down in tears. Feeling overwhelmed, overworked and underappreciated, she realized that she just couldn't keep going on this way. Although heartbroken about what that might mean for the kids she taught and loved, Kirsten knew if something didn't change, she wouldn't be able to continue to be the kind of teacher her students needed and deserved.Kirsten went on to write a children's book, “Sprinkle Your Sparkles” and also combined two of her passions to create Kirsten's Kaboodle - an online shop chock full of fun and effective resources for elementary educators. Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we're talking with this former educator and counselor who's always been a fierce advocate for little kids. From this passion came her newest venture, Inner Child ID Cards (aka: Self-Love Licenses) - where she advocates for the “inner child” in all of us.These cards are a fun way for adolescents and adults to honor, care for and support that “little kid” that still lives inside each of us.Plus they make fantastic personalized gifts, too!

This week on North American Ag Spotlight Chrissy Wozniak talks to Caitlin Arnold Stephano, Hotline Program Manager at Farm Aid about their new Spanish-language hotline for Spanish producers and farm workers. In partnership with Migrant Clinicians Network (MCN), and with funding from the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network – Northeast (led by Cultivemos),  Farm Aid is providing Spanish-language hotline support through the organization's new Spanish-speaking hotline. Beginning and established farmers and farmworkers are encouraged to call the Farmer Hotline. Farm Aid's hotline operators are familiar with agriculture and with resources for farmers around the country; they work with hotline callers to find the best resources for their individual situation, whether they are looking for assistance with farm stress, financial issues, legal questions or business-related questions. The Farm Aid Hotline Staff has an existing database of Spanish resources and they are working to expand this database even further.Through the Farm Aid hotline and email service, Farm Aid's Hotline Staff refers farmers to an extensive network of family farm and rural support organizations across the country. All farmers can call the hotline at 1-800-FARM-AID (1-800-327-6243).It's well documented that the suicide rate has been higher for farmers than for the general population for decades.  And a December 2017 front page story in The Guardian brought to America's attention a harsh reality about its farmers: people working in agriculture in the U.S. — including farmers, farm laborers, ranchers, fishers and lumber harvesters — take their lives at a rate higher than any other occupation. Today, mental health support services — both professional and church- and community-based — are less available and accessible in rural areas than they were in the 1980s, due to factors such as fewer people attending church, fewer community-building events in which people can interact/establish relationships in rural areas, and a decrease in overall population among rural areas.Farm Aid's mission is to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America. Farm Aid artists and board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Margo Price host an annual festival to raise funds to support Farm Aid's work with family farmers and to inspire people to choose family farm food. For more than 35 years, Farm Aid, with the support of the artists who contribute their performances each year, has raised more than $64 million to support programs that help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture and promote food from family farms. Caitlin Arnold Stephano grew up riding the tractor at her Grandfather's cherry and apple farm in Eastern Washington state, and has been working in agriculture, farmer organizing, and advocacy since 2006. Caitlin holds a Masters in Sustainable Food Systems with a focus on farmer mental health. She currently lives in Southern Maine with her family, and loves exploring the coastal nooks and crannies, walking in the woods, and growing her garden.Learn more at www.farmaid.org#farm #farming #agricultureNorth American Ag is devoted toThe ultimate destination for online farm equipment auctions!Visit https://agr.fyi/fastline-auctionsRegister for the July 13, 2023 webinar at https://NorthAmericanAg.com/fastline-webinar Why you should not miss FIRA USA 2023!Join the experts during 3 days of autonomous and robotics farming solutions in action!FIRA USA, the traveling AgTech event is back from September 19-21, 2023 at the Salinas Sports Complex, Home of the California Rodeo SalinasRegister at - https://fira-usa.com/Subscribe to North American Ag at https://northamericanag.com
