In a recent episode of Palestine Declassified, hosts Chris Williamson and David Miller were joined by The Grayzone editor Max Blumenthal to dissect the controversial role of the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH). The discussion centered on the CCDH's efforts to suppress pro-Palestinian voices on social media, particularly under the leadership of Elon Musk. The episode shed light on the organization's ties to Zionist interests and its broader agenda to silence dissent against Israeli policies. The first segment featured Latifa Abouchakra, who detailed The Grayzone's investigative work exposing the CCDH as a dishonest entity masquerading as a watchdog. The report revealed how the CCDH, despite its claims of combating hate speech, systematically targets and erases content supportive of Palestinian rights, effectively aligning itself with the Zionist regime's propaganda efforts. The second segment delved into the CCDH's extensive network of connections, including its links to the British Labour Party, the Community Security Trust, the Pears Foundation, and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in the United States. These ties underscore the organization's role as a tool for advancing pro-Israel narratives while undermining legitimate criticism of Israeli actions. The episode highlighted how these relationships enable the CCDH to wield significant influence over digital platforms, shaping public discourse in favor of Zionist interests.Overall, the program provides a critical examination of the CCDH's activities, exposing its role in the broader campaign to delegitimize and suppress pro-Palestinian advocacy. By connecting the dots between the CCDH and its institutional backers, Palestine Declassified offered a compelling case for how digital censorship is weaponized to serve political agendas, particularly those aligned with the Zionist movement. This episode is a must-watch for anyone concerned about free speech and the ongoing struggle for Palestinian rights.Read The Grayzone's reporting on leaked emails from the CCHD
After Elon Musk appeared to make a controversial gesture resembling a Nazi salute during an inauguration rally for President Donald Trump, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) quickly stepped in to defend the SpaceX CEO. The ADL, known as a prominent anti-hate watchdog, described Musk’s raised arm as “an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm” in a social media statement on Monday, sparking widespread debate online. On this week's episode of The Jerusalem Post Podcast, Michael Starr interviews Jonathan Greenblatt, head of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), about the state of antisemitism in the United States.
Antisemitism is on the rise throughout the United States, which has seen an “explosion” of anti-Jewish hate crimes since October 7, 2023. Jonathan Greenblatt is the CEO and National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), where he leads efforts to combat antisemitism, hate, and extremism. Since taking the helm in 2015, Greenblatt has focused on defending Jewish communities while expanding the ADL's work to address broader issues of hate impacting society. A former advisor in the Obama administration, he is known for using technology and partnerships to amplify the ADL's impact and create safer, more inclusive communities for Jewish people and all vulnerable groups.Jonathan focuses on the theme of "a year of unprecedented antisemitism", leading up to the one-year anniversary of Oct 7, discussing last year's rise in campus antisemitism, key antisemitic trends post-Oct 7 from our research, and insights from his recent trip to Israel. In 2003, a group of Indian Americans established the Hindu American Foundation (HAF), an organization explicitly modeled on the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), in a bid to address anti-Hindu discrimination in the US. Just as the ADL has long insisted that fighting American antisemitism requires bolstering support for Israel, the HAF committed itself to lobbying for India's Hindu nationalist movement in the name of protecting Hindu Americans' civil rights, an approach that has garnered significant success. The HAF is not the only organization that has drawn inspiration from the ADL. In 2021, the Asian American Foundation (TAAF) was formed in direct partnership with the ADL as a way to address growing anti-Asian racism. While lacking connection to a single ethnonationalist movement, TAAF nevertheless drew on the ADL's and HAF's approaches in positioning anti-Asian racism as a unique problem requiring carceral solutions instead of solidaristic organizing. As such, TAAF debuted with ADL head Jonathan Greenblatt as the only non-Asian person on its board, and Hindu nationalist Sonal Shah as its founding president. The HAF and TAAF's use of the ADL model has thus far helped them achieve significant support and legitimacy. However, as the ADL itself faces an unprecedented crisis of legitimacy in the wake of October 7th, affiliation with it now risks becoming a liability. For instance, following members' criticism over its ties to an increasingly repressive Greenblatt, TAAF removed him from his board this July (while still affirming its “strategic relationship” with the ADL). As dissent continues to grow in Asian and South Asian American communities—with reporters and activists questioning ties of anti-racist groups in the US to injustices abroad—it is not just ties to the ADL but the power of the ADL model of antiracism that stands to come into question. To discuss these developments, Jewish Currents news editor Aparna Gopalan spoke to associate editor Mari Cohen, New Yorker contributing writer E. Tammy Kim, and Savera coalition activist Prachi Patankar about the similarities and differences between the ADL, the HAF, and TAAF; their embrace of a “hate crimes” approach to anti-racism and what it leaves out; their ties to supremacist movements; and their shifting fortunes in the wake of the pressures over the past year. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) sheds light on an alarming surge in violence across the United States in the wake of recent events, citing a 388% rise in anti-Semitic incidents. This distressing spike, attributed to the aftermath of the Hamas terror attack in Israel, has ignited heightened tensions. CEO Jonathan Greenblatt highlights a worrying increase in violent acts, including vandalism and assaults targeting Jewish individuals. Overseas, similar trends of escalating incidents have been observed. Amidst the pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian gatherings, voices advocating for peace emerge, echoing a call to confront hate and promote goodwill. Throughout September, Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X—the social media platform formerly known as Twitter—has targeted the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in response to the group's attempts, along with several other advocacy organizations, to encourage an advertiser boycott of X. The ADL's proposed ad boycott was an effort to curb hate speech on the platform, which has grown since Musk's purchase of the site. Many observers viewed Musk's singling out of the ADL, which located the source of his financial troubles in one of the most prominent Jewish groups in the country, as a repurposing of an age-old antisemitic conspiracy theory. And his tweeting spree whipped up anti-ADL sentiment on the far right, with some antisemitic activists calling to “#BanTheADL” from X. Yet in responding to these attacks, ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt has conflated far-right attacks with criticisms of his organization from the left, recently comparing the white nationalist #BantheADL tweets to the #DroptheADL campaign, a progressive push to discourage partnership with the ADL. This week, Jewish Currents associate editor Mari Cohen, senior reporter Alex Kane, and editor-at-large Peter Beinart joined contributor Sam Adler Bell on the Know Your Enemy podcast to untangle the contradictions of an organization that has faced unjust attacks from the right-wing, but has also allied itself with the right in its effort to protect the State of Israel from criticism or protest. Drawing on several years of Jewish Currents reporting, the conversation touched on the ADL's political history, explored whether the organization's commitment to Israel advocacy impedes its ability to take on the right, and asked how leftists should respond to Musk's attacks. Know Your Enemy, produced in partnership with Dissent Magazine and co-hosted by Adler Bell and Matthew Sitman, investigates the history and politics of the American right wing from a leftist perspective. A few weeks ago, the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, eagerly joined in a campaign, originating on the far right, to demonize the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a century-old Jewish civil rights organization whose leaders have criticized Musk for allowing anti-semitic and white supremacist hate speech to proliferate on Twitter/X. To many progressives, it could sound like a simple story of good vs. evil — the righteous vs. the hateful — especially for those who've experienced the palpable flourishing of Nazi and Nazi-adjacent sentiment on Twitter/X since Musk purchased the platform. But for our guests — Mari Cohen, Alex Kane, and Peter Beinart of Jewish Currents — the story is more complicated. Over the past five years, Jewish Currents has been perhaps the only outlet on the left aggressively reporting on the ADL, exposing its complicity with the Trump presidency, its attacks on pro-Palestinian activism, and its fraying relationships with Muslim and black-led civil rights groups. In this episode, we explore the central tension animating the ADL's erratic politics: can an organization officially dedicated to securing "justice and fair treatment to all" simultaneously forbid criticism of a state — the state of Israel — whose ethnonationalist social order is an inspiration to right-wing movements the world over? And if that contradiction can't be reconciled, how should we respond to Musk's attacks on the organization? Is the ADL salvageable? And does it deserve to be saved? Listen to find out! Elon Musk may soon be in a legal battle with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). He's alleging the organization has cost X, formerly known as Twitter, billions in ad revenue. And he claims it has done this by using hate labels—in particular, by accusing X of being a platform for anti-Semitism. Mr. Musk wrote on Monday: “To clear our platform's name on the matter of anti-Semitism, it looks like we have no choice but to file a defamation lawsuit against the Anti-Defamation League … oh the irony!” In other news, it looks like the Chinese economy has reached its breaking point. The real estate market is crumbling. Manufacturing is shutting down. Foreign businesses are leaving China. The Biden administration has declared the CCP economy is uninvestable. And we'll see what's coming next when President Biden speaks at the upcoming G20 summit. Here to speak with us about this is Milton Ezrati, chief economist at Vested and an Epoch Times contributor. Meanwhile, we've been getting fed mixed narratives on the state of the U.S. economy. Many conservatives believe things are getting worse. The Biden administration has repeatedly claimed this just isn't so. It's "Bidenomics." Employment is up. Inflation is nothing to worry about. We're doing better economically than just about anywhere else on earth. But recent data has been contradicting this. Here to speak with us about the issue is Dave Brat. He's a former U.S. Representative, and now Vice Provost for Engagement and PR at Liberty University. ⭕️
Earlier this week, an Anti-Defamation League (ADL) report found that online harassment is at an all-time high. The civil rights org said that over half of Americans reported facing online harassment in their lifetime, with many experiencing it on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit. The ADL noted that almost every demographic saw a rise in hate and harassment. However, the surge is affecting the LGBTQIA+ community the most. We discuss our personal experiences and opinions on whether or not online harassment and negativity is worse. Then James Malouf from WFHR joins for our Friday Civic Media Cross Over. He tells us the best, worst and weirdest of the week.
In this episode, Dr. Almitra Berry interviews Rachel Sato, an associate director of education with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Sato shares how ADL works to implement school-wide discussion-based and active learning activities that examine identities, reflect on biased behavior, and learn new ways to challenge bias and bullying in students, staff, and society. The organization supports religious freedom, immigrant and refugee groups, LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, gender equity, and other civil rights issues. Sato emphasizes the need to address bias language from students, especially if it's race-based discrimination, and to be specific in talking about the historical harm that certain words and phrases cause. The episode also highlights the rise of antisemitic hate crimes and the importance of reporting them. Sato defines antisemitism as hate and bias towards the Jewish community and explains how it is intertwined with white supremacy. She stresses the importance of reporting incidents of hate, including antisemitic ones, and directs listeners to a form available online for reporting such incidents. Berry and Sato emphasize the importance of data tracking in creating policies and lobbying for change. They also discuss the intersectionality of hate incidents and the trauma experienced by marginalized communities. Finally, Sato explains that the normalization of hate incidents is dangerous and equipping people with the skills to have productive conversations is critical.www.adl.org Report an Incident: https://www.adl.org/report-incidentDon't forget to get a FREE copy of "Roadmap to Emancipation" by visiting www.3epodcast.com. This week, Donna DiMaggio Berger sits down with Sarah Emmons, the Florida Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), to discuss recent incidents of hate symbols being placed inside community associations, how antisemitism takes root and what can be done to combat it. Specifically, Sarah and Donna discuss the 2022 Weston Hill's hate crime that took place inside the upscale Hunters Pointe Park community. For over a month, residents were met with ongoing racial slurs and antisemitic messages written on their playgrounds and swastikas in and around the restrooms at the Weston Hills Country Club. Eventually, the Broward Sheriff's Office were able to arrest three teenagers all of whom lived inside the Hunters Pointe Park community. At the ADL, Sarah leads Florida's anti-hate efforts which includes responding to antisemitic and hateful incidents and delivering anti-bias educational programs in schools, colleges, and workplaces. She also leads advocacy efforts that protect marginalized communities. Prior to joining the ADL, Sarah was the Executive Director of Achieve Miami, an education non-profit that seeks to close opportunity gaps for under-resourced youth. Sara holds a master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College. Conversation highlights include:How many hate groups are operating in Florida? What are some of the reasons that antisemitism seems to be increasing both in America and around the world? Can society achieve a hate-free world? How many hate groups are operating in FloridaAntisemitic statistics in Florida and nationallyUnderstanding what it means to be “antisemitic"What should, or can the Association Board or Manager do when antisemitism rears its head?Is there a correlation between antisemitism and other forms of bigotry?BONUS: Sarah shares other anti-bias organizations she is working with around the world

On Friday, Congresswoman Lori Trahan, a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, led a group of Democrats including Senator Ron Wyden and Representatives Katie Porter, Stephen Lynch, Susan Wild, Mondaire Jones, Kathy Castor, Adam Schiff, and Elissa Slotkin to sign letters requesting information from gaming companies about their efforts to combat hate, harassment, and extremism in online games. The letters were sent to companies including Activision Blizzard, Take-Two Interactive, Riot Games, Epic Games, Valve, Microsoft, Sony, and Roblox. The letters followed a report issued by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) earlier this month that found that 77 percent of adults and 66 percent of teens have reported experiences of harassment while playing online games over the past year, and identified a number of other concerns about social gaming environments. Today, I'm joined by one of the authors of that report, ADL Center for Technology and Society Director of Strategy and Operations Daniel Kelley; as well as by Queens University professor Amarnath Amarasingam, coauthor of a report commissioned by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism on the intersection of gaming and violent extremism that was released in October.

One of its guest speakers, Abe Foxman, is the director emeritus of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a Holocaust survivor, and a recognized leader in the fight against bigotry and discrimination. Recently, Independent Executive Editor Nick Welsh had an email exchange with Foxman regarding his upcoming talk. The event will be held on on Monday, December 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center on Chapala Street in downtown Santa Barbara. When was the last time you personally experienced an act of anti-semitism? How often do you experience such things? I experience it every day on social media. I am constantly barraged with anti-semitic rhetoric, especially when I speak out to condemn anti-semitism, racism, or hate in general. We read that we are experiencing a spike in anti-semitic actions both in the United States and throughout the world. Here in Santa Barbara, this is not so evident, especially for those of us inclined not to see it — either because it's not happening in front of us or we think it's a settled matter. Please paint a picture of what is happening. The number of anti-semitic attacks in the United States is at an all-time high. FBI statistics report the highest number of religious hate crimes in the U.S.A. are directed at Jews. ADL statistics bear that out as well. It's the first time, in over a hundred years, since the lynching of Leo Frank, that Jews in the state of Georgia have been killed because they were Jews. This has also happened in Pittsburg, Poway, CA, and Jersey City. Jews have been assaulted in the streets of New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, and many others. Jewish students are harassed as Jews because they may support Israel and that happens on dozens of campuses in the United States. In Europe, Jews are constant targets of desecration of cemeteries, and synagogues are under constant security. Jews have been killed because they are Jews in France and other European countries. In this weeks episode we discuss the news that YouTuber True Geordie has been dropped by two of his sponsors after he made an Islamophobic comment and then continued to double down. Gym Shark and PokerStars have both ended their relationship with the vlogger, whose real name is Brian Davis, after he made comments about the religion of social media personality Andrew Tate. In the second part of the show we discuss USA basketball player Kyrie Irving, Who shared a link to a documentary containing material described as anti-Semitic, meaning that it was hostile to Jewish people. The NBA and Brooklyn Nets boss Joe Tsai were among many who criticised Kyrie. He eventually deleted the tweet, and promised with his team to make a joint $1m donation to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) - a US charity set up to combat hate speech. www.expresstruthshow.com
Two Mikes finally had Zach Vorhies on this afternoon. Mr. Vorhies worked as a software engineer at Goggle until he quit after finding the depth of the company's political partisanship and disregard for the 1st Amendment. Mr. Voorhies said that Google spent whatever it took -- in terms of money, equipment, and manpower -- to create effective programs to censor conservative speech. Indeed, Google's determination to censor caused a slower growth at Youtube. Accompanying these realities was the fact that the FBI had an office inside Google to help target conservatives, and GOOGLE also received help for the same pupose from the Anti Defamation League (ADL) and Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). At the time he quit, Mr. Voorhies said, there was no doubt that Google's chief job was to operate as a front company for the Globalists, and to use censorship to reward the "good" -- the Globalists -- and punish the "Bad", that is, the anti-globalists. He also said that hatred for Trump was a guiding influence in almost all Google employees and all they did. Mr. Voorhies said that he expected that after the Big Tech elite's vacation period in June and July, online censorship would pick up steam in late August and would reach previously unseen dimensions in September and October as the midterm elections approach. Mr. Voorhies also is a successful entrepreneur, having started a site called BLAST.VIDEO. The site scans news videos from all platforms, aggregates them, and makes them available, without editing. Censorship seems to be coming from both sides of the isle, Commenting on Dr. TenPenny being kicked off Truth Social for spreading her Vaccine truth, he blasted the social media platform saying: “Truth social doesn't like her truth, nor does it like it being social”. Surprisingly, Zach believes from his experiences and perspective that the 2016 election was indeed hacked, but it wasn't the Russians that did it. Which really points that this would have been going along the Q conspiracy in a sense, that domestic operatives tipped the scales for Trump. As a Google whistleblower, Zach warns us that “Censorship looks like it's a new thing that's coming; it's endemic” and adds to it that “AI is getting really scary right now” as these tech giants ramp up their social manipulation through advanced digital social structures. We want to make the correction, that though Zach believes Gab doesn't have any censorship with regards to malicious content such as child pornography and threats of violence, Gab does have censorship mechanisms in place that ban, delete, and censor all pornographic material as well as anything deemed illegal such as doxing… etc. Zach also believes that Christian Nationalism is something of a threat because it deters users and the leftists from coming to the discussion table, we believe that the left has long ago abandoned any form of logic or compromise. And there is no reasoning with them. Our position is also that Christian Nationalism, which is to say, bringing the foundation of this republic back, is the way for returning to freedom and prosperity. The great replacement" is a conspiracy theory that states that nonwhite individuals are being brought into the United States and other Western countries to "replace" white voters to achieve a political agenda. White supremacists argue that the influx of immigrants, people of color more specifically, will lead to the extinction of the white race. The "great replacement" theory is sometimes seen in other ways such as claims of voter replacement and immigrants invading America, the National Immigration Forum said. The first claim assumes that immigrants and nonwhite people will vote a certain way, ultimately drowning out the votes of white Americans The "great replacement" theory has roots in French nationalism books dating back to the early 1900s, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). However, the theory's more contemporary use is attributed to Renaud Camus, a French writer who wrote: "Le Grand Remplacement" (which translates to "The Great Replacement") in 2011. The white supremacist conspiracy falsely asserts that white people are being replaced and losing their standing in society as a result of a plot to increase non-white immigration, as well as other factors, including birth rates among non-white people. Today, we're leaving you with a monster of an episode before we go on hiatus next week. We're covering several important stories from the news cycle, starting with left-wing attacks on pregnancy centers by pro-abortion activists in response to the likely overturning of Roe v. Wade and how neither the government nor the media seems to care. We'll also talk about the Anti-Defamation League trying to push the idea that nearly all domestic terror attacks are "right-wing." Then, we discuss a crazy Twitter interaction with a pro-abortion personality who thinks abortion is an "act of love." After that, we're joined by Herbie Newell, president and executive director of Lifeline Children's Services, who completely dispels the myth that pro-life advocates don't care about kids after they're born. In this episode, Anthony is joined by Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). They discuss his recent book It Could Happen Here which sounds an alarm about how antisemitism and hate-related violence is intensifying in the US; it draws upon ADL's extensive research on, and experience with methods of combatting hate; and discusses why we must promote a “counsel culture” rather than a “cancel culture.”Next up, Dr Mark Epstein, bestselling author and psychotherapist, talks with Anthony about his work at the interface of Buddhism and psychotherapy, and how the two practices become all the more powerful when joined together; they explore the role of the ego and how it restricts us, and delve into his new book, The Zen of Therapy.Back in October 2021, Anthony sat down with Dr Fiona Hill, former senior director for European and Russian affairs on the National Security Council. Together they discuss how much influence Russia has in Western politics; recall Putin's interference in the 2016 election, and how he frequently “pushed Trump's buttons”; and examine whether Russia can ever be brought into the family of nations.Follow our guests on Twitter: https://twitter.com/JGreenblattADL https://twitter.com/Mepstein108 Subscribe on YouTube: //bit.ly/3ICdZXx Follow us:https://twitter.com/moochfm https://twitter.com/scaramucci Sign up for our newsletter at:www.mooch.fm Created & produced by Podcast Partners:www.podcastpartners.com

Dylan Escoll is a Jewish American man who fights against antisemitism and discrimination in all its forms. He works closely with the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in support of philanthropic initiatives that both provide education on Jewish issues and help with the fight against antisemitism. Additionally, while Dylan has family in Israel, his immediate family in the U.S. works on the front lines of normalizing relations between Israel and other Arab nations. Ashley invites her friend, Dylan Escoll, to discuss the current conflict between Israel and Palestine. Americans have taken to social media to show support for either side. The issue is that few understand the history and nuance behind both Israel and the current conflict. Misinformation has been widespread within the last few weeks so Dylan and Ashley aim to set the record straight. The two discuss the history of Israel, the truth about the current situation, the rise of antisemitism, social media misinformation, and more.
On Monday's Mark Levin Show, the fatal shooting in Minnesota was a horrific tragedy. The incident was caught on tape and is nothing like the George Floyd case. It clearly had nothing to do with systemic racism and the looters should be jailed accordingly. The mayor has fired the City Manager, Curt Boganey, for asking for due process. The media have already drawn their conclusions and done away with any form of due process. When the Mayor fired Boganey he became part of the mob. Then, Tucker Carlson has been attacked by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for making 'White supremacist' comments. Yet, the truth is that Carlson's comments were based on the facts of what's happening at the border to change the voting demography of southern states. The ADL is led by a secular Jew and former Obama White House staffer that seemingly agreed with President Obama's anti-Semitic views. The ADL should fire their CEO, Jonathan Greenblatt! Later, Joe Biden is ramming through trillions of dollars that ultimately benefit his base, not the people. Everything is being done in the name of infrastructure even if it isn't. Congressional Republicans should reject any deals with the Democrats and play offense. Meanwhile, Democrats are seizing on the fecklessness of the GOP and working with large corporations to implement their leftist vision for voting laws.

“Incel”, acronimo che sta per “celibe involontario”, è una delle community più violente e sessiste di Internet. Volendo semplificare: uomini che odiano le donne, ritenute “colpevoli” del loro essere esclusi dalle relazioni sessuali. Ma le intersezioni tra misoginia e suprematismo bianco sono state recentemente analizzate in un rapporto dell'organizzazione americana Anti Defamation League (ADL), secondo cui tra e due ideologie esiste “una solida simbiosi”.

Many are now asking: what will it take to bring the country together? The Civil Society Fellowship - a partnership of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Aspen Institute - answers that question by engaging the next generation of community and civic leaders, activists, and problem-solvers across these divisions to build deeper relationships with one another and tackle pressing issues head-on. In this special two-part episode of the Value of Leadership, we talk to two of those Fellows - Jenifer Sarver, Founder of Sarver Strategies in Austin, Texas, and Isaiah Oliver, President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint in Michigan. These are two leaders are engaged in very different work. They come from very different parts of the country and hold very different identities. Yet, they've built a relationship of respect and understanding. We caught up with Jenifer and Isaiah after their week-long virtual retreat - called an UnSeminar - with their Civil Society Fellowship class, named “Mission: Redemption”, and a digital town hall where they engaged with community leaders from across the United States. During the UnSeminar, the Fellows reflected on readings and speeches from leaders of past and present like Martin Luther King Jr. and President Dwight Eisenhower. The experience prompted them to further explore their personal roles in creating a more civil society today. In part two of this conversation, where we talk about how exercising grace and leveraging one's individual power - at any level - can aid in reconciliation to create a better country for all Americans. Jenifer and Isaiah also reflect on what values all Americans still share. Before you jump in, be sure to listen to part one, listen in on part one to hear how these two leaders came to find friendship and respect for one another and gain insight into how you might do the same with people in your community.--To learn more about the Aspen Global Leadership Network and the work of our Fellows, visit agln.aspeninstitute.org. Jonathan Greenblatt is the CEO and National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an organization originally founded to combat anti-Semitism that today has become a leading civil rights organization against bigotry of all forms. (ADL is also the home of this podcast). As you'll hear in this interview, in this time of increased extremism, civic organizations like the ADL can do important work in strengthening what he calls “democracy’s immune system”—the democratic values and the institutions, the relationships, that society itself can use to protect the body politic from the disease of extremism.
